Or is it?

To catch up, Q is a mysterious entity that began posting on 4Chan on 27 October 2017, with a message saying Hillary Clinton would be arrested the following Monday. Nearly 5,000 posts and 3 platforms later, on 8 December 2020, Q posted a single word on 8Kun, "Durham," and with that went silent. In the meantime, a worldwide following of thousands, who wore Q gear and showed up to every Donald Trump rally, and analyzed every utterance and gesture of the 45th POTUS (President of the United States).for cryptic messages that would belie Trump's direct connection to Q.

The Q Phenomenon, which I labelled the Qult, was centered on a small number of "Autists," or what I call the Apostles and Acolytes. This inner circle provided the "official" interpretation of Q posts, which were generally a combination of "coded" messages, and/or links to Main Stream Media (MSM) articles and videos.

There are literally thousands of "Q Proofs," various interpreted clues that prove the existance, reality and authority of Q - assumed to be a military operation to retake the USA from covert socialist invasion, and liberate the entire world from the Bankster Cabal that has enslaved humanity for centuries if not millennia. One of the "proofs" of this connection is the many numerical and literal references to the Military Code of Justice (especially concerning martial law), which presumably will be the law of the land in the US during the transition back to a Constitutional Republic and the military tribunals that will try and convict the conspirators.

Oh, and Q and QAnon are not the same things, the latter being wholly concocted by the MSM to divert attention from the real Q, and label the movement as a nutzo conspiracy theory.

The movement uses cryptic phrases, like Where We Go One We Go All (WWG1WGA) from the film White Squall, The Storm (a reference to the chaos during the battle of reclamation), The Plan (how the battle will be run), and Future Proves Past, implying that all the Q Posts that seemingly did not come to pass will be proven by future events.

By way of disclosure, my own view is that all government everywhere, at all times and in all places, iis inherently immoral (see Lysander Spooner and Henry David Thoreau). Thus, it makes no difference whether Q is a "white hat" or a "black hat". If it seeks to replace one form of government with another, especially through the use of military force, it is inherently immoral.

All of that said, and I have only scratched the surface, it seems that Q has returned after a year and a half of silence. Note that Q's last post in 2020 was the word "Durham," presumably a reference to Special Counsel John Durham, whose extant and pending indictments of the insurgent conspirators (Globalists) have been making news of late.

Depending on who you listen to, Mr. Durham has begun indicting various individuals associated with the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic [sic] Nation Convention (DNC), for their role in paying for, creating and disseminating the Stelle Dossier, which implicated Donald Trump in various plots with the leaders of Russia, and led to spying on his campaign and presidency, and the first of two impeachments of Trump (commonly referred to as Russiagate). There are anywhere from several hundred to several hundred thousand "sealed indictments" set to be released in the coming months, as The Plan unfolds and The Storm is upon us.

In the year-and-a-half since the 2020 election, the nature and crimes of the Biden family and their associates have been increasingly revealed. The Hunter Biden "Laptop from Hell" has been acknowledged by the MSM after two years of denial. Certainly, the administration's full reversals of Trump-era policies on border and energy security is having a profound effect. The Afghanistan Surrender certainly made no friends. And Biden's own lack of competency is a growing issue, both domestically and internationally.

Could these events precipitate a military intervention in US political affairs? Perhaps, though the intricacies of this issue requires its own article.

During the Biden administration, Trump has launched a fund to buy distrassed MSM outlets and/or set up new competitors for the existing media conglomerates. The most visible effort is the launch of Truth Social, billed as a replacement for the various Big Tech offerings, which are plagued with "narrative" bots and censorship.

In the interest of disclosure, I cannot use Truth Social yet, because foreign residents are currently excluded. As such, I must reply on others to find the following information.

According to several of the Apostles and Acolytes, Q has returned on Truth Social, with an account labelled @q. This account is once again posting cryptic messages that include Morse Code and obscure Caucasian (the mountains) languages, as well as the image at the top of this post. Let's take a look at it, shall we?

Note first that it is the Queen of Spades and the letter "Q" features prominently on it (a connection that I did not make in my article The Name of the Q). Also note that the image of the queens is flipped along the vertical axis.

The top queen has a "red line" down the side on the face, while the right eye is actually the left eye, and the left eye appears closed or winking. There is blood on her hands. The right eye might be interpreted as a reference to a Masonic symbol featured on the Great Seal of the United States, at the top of the unfinished pyramid. This side of the Seal also bears the phrases ANNUIT COEPTIS, understood to mean "God approves of our effort," and NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, widely translated as "New World Order," though it's a bit more nuanced than that. We also note that the right eye is at the approximate peak of an equallateral triangle formed with the red line as one side. The Eye on the Seal is the left eye, and in the image above, the left eye has been moved to the right at the peak of the pyramid formed graphically by the shape of the queen intersected by the red line as a side of the triangle.

On the lower queen, we note that the nose and mouth are inverted, matching the orientation of the upper image. I read this to imfer the occultic axiom "as above so below".

Praying Medic, one of the more popular Q Commentators, has posted his interpretation of this image.. He and others read this to mean that Hillary Clinton (or Nancy Pelosi) has crossed the red line and has blood on her hands, and she has flipped - presumably assisting an investigation. The themes of top insiders flipping, red lines being crossed and blood on hands are common in the Q Posts. However, I have found that Hillary Clinton is generally referred to as "Alice" of Wonderland fame, not as The Queen.

This image is typical of the classic Q Posts, with multiple layers of information and/or interpretation in many of the posts. It is also common in the original Q Posts for inferences to be made by the reader filling in partial phrases, or reading images as visual representation of text.

Is Q back? There is reason to believe that: @q was one of the first accounts approved on Trump's Truth Social, a number of Apostles and Acolytes believe it is so, the account's various messages follow the pattern established by the original Q Posts and Cicada 3301 before that, and the tone or "voice" of the new posts is similar to the originals. There is precedent with Cicada 3301 for multiple "games" starting a year or more after the previous one ended.

I have made the case in my previous articles (see below) that Q is real, it is or was run by a group within the Global Engagement Center (GEC) under the US Department of State, and that it uses some form of advanced computing (commonly called AI) to develop and target a network of humans to operate a counter-narrative effort, whose ultimate goal is unknown, but is widely assumed to be the overthrow and punishment of perceived foreign insurgents and their domestic facilitators in the US government. Q is also widely understood to be seeking the exposure and downfall of the global cabal of corporate and banking interests pushing the world into a globalist-socialist dystopia.

The reader is invited to make his or her own conclusions, and to assign a value of "good" or "evil" to any of the parties in this narrative. I have made my opinion clear, while endeavoring to analyze the facts, noting my opinion as I have gone along.

Am I right or wrong? It seems only time will tell. We must come to grips with the fact that Q exists and is exercising influence over a significant group of people to one extent or another.

Stay tuned...

==========

My father was a die-hard interstate hater, declaring regularly that he could make better time on the back roads. Of course, he was always wrong, because among other things, he was a history teacher. That meant that we had to stop at e.v.e.r.y s.i.n.g.l.e historical marker for an extended roadside lesson in Texas history.

I could go on for hours about those trips, but we're here for a different purpose.

I've spent a significant portion of my life taking leisurely blue highway tours of the world. While the interstates and autobahns of the world whisk you quickly from origin to destination, they do so in a completely sanitized envelope populated with rubber-stamped franchises and commercial oases, by-passing the truly unique and insightful parts of the world.

Two of my favorite journeys involve driving through Europe, purposefully avoiding big cities and multi-laned concrete arteries. While these journeys could fill at least one book of unusual and even strange experiences, there was a theme that ran through the trips that inspired me to do a photo journal, where like my father, I stopped at every opportunity to appreciate the historical nuances that mark blue highway art.

When you drive through the back country of Europe, you quickly begin to notice a recurring phenomenon. On the edge of nearly every village, there is a grotto with either the Virgin Mary or the Crucified Christ, and many of t hem are surrounded with fresh flowers much of the time. Some bear inscriptions, while others require an inquiry of locals when you reach the gasthaus.

These grottos are memorials to the survivors and the victims of the Black Death.

Hundreds of centuries-old grottos pepper the entire continent and serve as ancient reminders of the terrors of the bubonic pandemic. Not only these memorials, but a number of communities perform passion plays every decade, the most famous of which is the Passion Play at Oberammagau.

These rituals and monuments have survived nearly 400 years to remind the future of an event so terrifying that it has left an imprint in our languages, like the English "bless you" or the German "Gott sund heit" when someone sneezes. It's even memorialized in the children's rhyme "Ring Around the Rosie".

Imagine a natural plague so horrible that it scarred our collective memories across time and place. Imagine the fearsome inevitability that in any family of four, odds were good that at least one of you would die a painful death. Imagine death rates so dreadful that the only burial solution was to dig large pits and stack the corpses like cord wood in them.

Now look around at our current situation.

In the first iteration of this so-called pandemic, there were no bodies littering the streets. The vast majority of people did not go to bed wondering who in their house would be dead by morning. There were no enormous pits at the edge of town with gruesome piles of death.

In the second iteration, great numbers of people have begun dying of heart attacks and strokes, wholly unrelated to a respiratory virus, but rather self-induced by avaricious mega-corporations seeking to dominate the globe and soak us of our scant and hard-fought wealth, aided and abetted by corrupt and demonic politicians seeking to elevate their status by yanking our out from under us.

If this shared experience leaves a mark on our culture - indeed if our culture survives this event - it will not be to memorialize the horrors of Nature, but of the bottomless abyss of evil into which Humanity can fall. The grottos, children's rhymes and passion plays of the distant future will mark our generation's descent into cowardice and psychosis so profound that it nearly destroyed civilization itself.

Slowly it seems the masses are awakening, from this delusion. It appears that folks are realizing just how clueless and self-absorbed we have all been for the last 100 years, but we have a long way to go.

We must resolve to punish those who brought this on us, while confessing that it would not have been possible without our consent and sloth. I ended up running smack into Nazis, Catholics and yes, Q itself.

The surname "Rittenhouse" (Reittighaus) comes from Austrian nobility and means "of the marsh house". Grosskreutz is another Germanic surname meaning "Great Cross". Rosenbaum is yet another Germanic surname, meaning "Rosebush". Finally, Huber comes from a Germanic term meaning "landowner," and implies a wealthy individual with "huben" being an appreciable amount of land.

The casual observer might be forgiven for thinking the four central characters in the Kyle Rittenhouse drama represent roll call at the Beer Hall Putsch. In fact, the verdict was handed down on 19 November 2021, almost 98 years to the day of the anniversary of the Nazi's attempted coup d'etat on 9 November 1923. For the time being, I will dodge the numerology of the number 9.

On a symbolic level, Austrian nobility saved America's heartland from a Socialist coup fomented by Catholic secret societies. The three men taken down can be associated at the meta level with the Templars (Great Cross), the Rosecrucians (Roaebush), and someone claiming ownership of the land, which could describe the Vatican via the Unam Sanctam papal bull of 1302.

Is any of this meaningful or useful to us? Who know? But I have always been fascinated by the way Universe appears to place patterns at the heart of human events.

Additionally, Mark Twain's observation that history never repeats, but it often rhymes has become nearly axiomatic.

By what I've found online, the Rittenhouse family in America dates back to the 1640s, in German settlements around Pennsylvania. That makes the family one of the original European settlers in North America. German settlements in Wisconsin began in the 1840s, and came in several waves. German settlers across the US tended to be agricultural, with a smaller but significant number of metal smiths (Kyle's father is a machinist) and, of course, beer brewers.

Wisconsin, according the US Census, is 87% "white," though it doesn't say which flavor of "white". Hispanics make up a bit more than 7%, of which Kyle is partly a member. Blacks constitute a little more than 6% of the population, and all other listed groups rate less than 3%. Given those numbers, it's curious that the rioters chose a section of Kenosha that is predominantly minority.

With that little fact in mind, it would appear for all intents and purposes that the rioters were in fact the supremacists. They seem to have been mostly of German descent and chose a section of the city that would inflict the most damage on minority people and businesses. With Kyle's partial Hispanic heritage, one could conclude that he was defending minorities from violent supremacists, or in other words the exact opposite of the narrative we are having shoved down our throats.

All of this is purely speculative and circumstantial, of course, but it does raise some interesting questions to consider.

In the Manhattan Project, which developed the first atomic bombs for the US military, much of the metallurgy work took place in and around Chicago, IL (recall German settlers and metal smiths). Kenosha is certainly part of Chicago's metropolitan area, and could be considered a suburb or bedroom community. The state line is all but meaningless in this region. Needless to say, the project was highly secret, and thus "subrosa".

Following World War II, a great number of scientists and other captive Nazis were brought to the US to aid in weapons development and the fledgling space program, via programs like Operation Paperclip. Metallurgy would have been, and still is, a key component of weapon and rocket design, and Chicago and Decatur would have been natural locations to send Nazi experts. Those Nazis and their families would have found a ready home among the large German communities in the area.

Might some nefarious entities within the US federal cabal have maintained pockets of Nazis in and around Chicago for use as Gladio-style disruptors? Perhaps they were offered new identities and a comfortable lifestyle in exchange for maintaining readiness to deploy to hot spots. This would take some considerable research to validate, but circumstances certain present an opportunity to create this scenario.

Even more nebulous, but there nonetheless, is the Rosenbaum name. The rose is an ancient symbol that adorned the keystones of Roman archways, and private conversations (conspiracies) were often held under rose symbols to such an extent that the term "subrosa," or under the rose, is still an expression for keeping something quiet. The keystone aspect also ties in with Pennsylvania - the Keystone State - and the large part that German immigrants play in that state's history. There's also the role of "keystone" within the Q Phenomenon (see my 30+ articles on topic in the archive at right).

In Q Lore, "keystone" is a recurring theme having to do with the revelation of deep secrets (subrosa). The name "Epstein" is also considered to be an amalgam of "epi stein," or center stone, or keystone. This is not a tenuous connection. All Qvians know of the epstein/keystone/secrets connections.

At this point, the reader can appreciate that the tentacles of speculation run off in many directions and deep into history and across today's headlines. There may, of course, be nothing to any of this, but I tend to take notice when symbols begin to line up in meaningful ways.

I'll leave it to readers to ponder and research these ideas, and I will continue to look for pieces that fall into this narrative. In any case, I perceive many deeper layers to the whole Rittenhouse drama, and the layers beg further investigation, given their interlocking meta tags and implications.

We can say with absolute certainty that the media and political players have gone out of their way to create as many false impressions of the events in Kenosha as they possibly can. This implies that they are covering tracks and working overtime to obfuscate something, and I submit that I may have found at least a part of that something.

As a bonus for those who made it this far, at least two writers I've found say that the name "kenosha" descends from the Menominee language, meaning "the place of the long fish," a reference to the prevalence of pike in local fresh water streams. The image of a fish brings us once again back to Catholic symbolism and the Age of Pisces, which is currently coming to an end as the Great Month of Aquarius rises.

In addition, the name "Wisconsin," according to one source, comes from the Miami language and means "a river runnin through a red place". This is interesting for the relationship of the color red to roses, and the large body of symbolism attached to rivers, especially as it relates to the flow of time and life itself (see Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn)

Oh, and if you get a chance to enter an old Catholic catherdral, particularly in Europe, make a point to look at the confessionals. Above the doors, you will find the symbol of the rose.

Try our Telegram news and chat channel, where the focus is on reality and action.

There's also the Radio Far Side Locals board for exercising critical thinking muscles.

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-63239349912069025042021-09-17T12:41:00.002+07:002021-09-29T04:39:41.454+07:00ἀποκάλυψις

Apokalypsis (ἀποκάλυψις) is an ancient Greek word composed of apo- meaning open, release, reveal, and kalyptwin, meaning cover, hide, shield. Simply put, apocalyse means revelation, the revealing of something.

As Claudius puts it in the theme of Rovert Graves' brilliant "I, Claudius," "Let all the poisons which lurk in the mud hatch out."

To really grasp what is going on in the world right now, we have to get some background information. The problem is that proper understanding has been purposely obfuscated so prevent us from seeing truth. ASs Joseph Farrell frequently notes, whoever controls the interpretation of prophesy, controls its fulfillment.

We must start with the Great Year. The Great Year is divided up into Great Months. The Great Year of the Precession lasts roughly 26,000 years, with each Great Month being about 2,166 years. The Great Year is measured by the precession of the March equinox, visualized as a point over the equator's zenith at midnight, from right to left through the zodiac, which is roughly 1 degree per 72 (human) years. This happens in reverse order of the zodiac from the order we use for say, astrology. In other words, Leo, Cancer, Taurus, Aries, Pisces, Aquarius, etc.. According to occult traditions, each change in the Great Month is accompanied by great social and cultural upheaval in human history, as the energiy bathing us from the Universe changes with the positions of the background stars.

Now recall various Biblical events, along with some of the greatest and most enigmatic stonework on the planet.

If we mark the Great Sphynx in Egypt as a monument to the Age of Leo (it is a lion and it faces the helical rising of Leo every year in August), then by counting Great Months, we arrive at an age for the statue of about 10,000 years to 12,000 years. This correlates with some modern academic thinking, as well as the age of places like Gobekli Tepe, and more or less the end of the last Ice Age and perhaps the Great Flood of the Younger Dryass period.

The next story that lines up is the Golden Calf, on which Moses broke the tablets and caused a massive earthquake that swallowed the statue and a great many people. Taurus?

Along comes a Great Messiah, widely known as the Lamb of God, who was sacrificed more or less 2,000 years ago. Aries?

The Lamb's followers were called Fishers of Men, and they created a cult symbolized by a fish, and led by a man who wears a fishhead hat. Pisces?

Then we have this from Luke 22:10-11:

"He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, and say to the owner of that house, 'The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"

So, the Lamb sends the Fish to find the Man with a Jar of Water. Aquarius?

Let's build a narrative with this information.

About 14,000-12,000 years ago, there was a great civilization on Earth that built magnificent stone structures all over the planet, such as Giza and Gobekli Tepe. This roughly corresponds with Plato's reckoning that Atlantis existed 9,000 years before his time, or roughly 11,300 years ago. The Age of Leo came to a cataclysmic end with the Younger Dryass period, and led to the Age of Cancer, which must have been a dark age, since we don't seem to have any monumental architecure celebrating crabs. This led to another great civilization in the Age of Taurus, which was devastated by earthquakes (golden calf). That led to the Age of Aries, which was characterized by a quiet pastoral period in history where everyone just went about his or her business. Until the Lamb was slaughtered and the Age of Pisces was ushered in, with renewed global culture and civilization and everyone coming together like schools of fish.

Could it be that the Age of Aquarius is now beginnning and the information from the past is trying to send us a message on how to prepare? Are we to follow the man with the jar of water to a place of safety, where we can celebrate having avoided some great disaster?

Could this be the Revelation, the ἀποκάλυψις, for which we have been waiting for centuries?

It might be that everything we are seeing now represents the Fish Heads (literally and figuratively) fighting to retain their privileged positions that they have enjoyed for so long. After 2,000 years, they have grown accustomed to their positions at the head and the willingness of the masses to school behind them. They are fighting with all they have to halt what they know is coming, and which cannot be avoided.

There are so many implications. Were our calendars purposely recalculated to hide the arrival of this moment in time? Were ancient prophesies - more like road maps - reinterpreted to hide their true meanings? Is the revelation of all this hidden knowledge thf actual and literal meaning of ἀποκάλυψις?

What I do know is that the classical interpretation of the Apocalypse of John at Patmos was not a literal event. Rather it was a symbolic description of one's inner journey to personal enlightenment. Anyone who has undergone the true Awakening process will be able to read those pages and recognize immediately the pain and suffering one goes through as the illusion of the world falls apart, and the Truth of the Earth is revealed.

In the late 1700s and early 1800s, there was a concerted effort to change this interpretation into a physical scenario in which there were signs and wonders and mystical creatures doing battle across nations. This distraction was designed to keep people from focusing on their inner journies, and being afraid of the feelings and visions that come with it. Having your entire worldview torn to shreds and rebuilt in an entirely different way is terrifying without the guidance of those who have gone through before.

The true meaning of the Apocalypse is that, like jars of water, we no longer need to "school" around leaders or their institutions. We are capable of containing our own water (knowledge) and carrying it with us. We no longer need institutions to guide us, but are now free to be our own moral agents. We no longer need kings to embody the sovereignty of the masses, we are each sovereigns in our own kingdoms.

If you are a king, what do you fear most?

What we see all around us is the literal externalization of our inner journey. We no long need central libraries, we have the wisdom of ages in our hands wherever we go. We no longer need rulers, when we have internalized the real Law. We no longer need churches, when we are each a moral agent. We no longer need banks, when our wealth can be stored in our own digital vaults.

All of the institutions and organizations that have grown up over centuries to lead the masses of fish through the ocean of time are crumbling, when we have evolved the ability to climb out of the ocean and carry our water with us. We are our own vessels.

It's terrifying, to be sure. We are teenagers leaving home for the first time and suddenly all of our comfortable support structures are gone and we must learn to depend on our own wits and abilities.

The Age of Aquarius is upon us.

We have reached Cosmic Adulthood

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-11126487071094932542021-09-04T20:34:00.001+07:002021-09-06T08:15:16.991+07:00Hog-Tied In Texas

Is it still OK to wave a white flag to call a truce, or is that racist and chock full of privileges and stuff?

It never ceases to amaze me how much cognitive dissonance a Bumbledick can hold in xis/xer/their head without exploding. I suspect this capacity alone necessitates the crying rooms popping up on campuses around the Western hemisphere.

Here's the deal: Texas passed a law making abortion illegal in most cases after the first month and a half of pregnancy. I seems that a woman (no, biological males cannot get pregnant) wants to have absolute control over her body and the choice whether to have a baby. It is not enough that she had the choice not to have sex, or whether to use birth control, or even to have a full 45 days after conception to think about it.

I know women have difficulties making decisions, but come on. Perhaps this is why there aren't more high-powered female executives?

Anyway, a bunch of people who make a tidy living selling aborted fetuses to medical science took the matter to the US Supreme Court in hopes of stopping the law taking effect. The Supremes took one whiff of the case and shoved it back across the table.

Well, as even the corner palm reader could have predicted, the Bumbledicks are losing their minds. How could the government tell anyone what to do with their body? It's unconstitutional, they screech. It's unnamaerican, they holler. It will deprive a bunch of cloning researchers and vaccine makers of their grant money, they opined. It's anti-capitalist! Oh OK, I added that one myself.

All of this righteous indignation is coming from - get this - people who have spent the past two years berating, spraying, shunning, brow beating, attacking, molesting, and just plain being nasty to a lot of folks who don't want to be forced to wear masks, get injected with toxic waste and sit alone in their caves because of a wholly manufactured medical emergency.

Now wait a minute. You say the government has no right to reach its grubby fingers into your uterus, but by golly it has every right to tell you what to wear, and what potions and how many times to inject into your sacred temple.

Maybe I'm a dying breed, and I often feel that way, but I perceive a direct connection between these two issues, where Bumbledicks don't seem to even allow them into the same part of the shambles they pass off as brains.

Though I personally find backing off my revulsion towards infanticide in order to prevent genocide is a grotesque Solomon's Choice, it does seem there is an oppotunity for Bumbledicks to make common cause with rational people. It's not pretty, but it's a start into more expansive dialog.

Getting government all the way off our backs would be a tremendous victory for everyone involved.

Here's my offer: I would be willing to allow women the ability to abort a pregnancy up to the end of the second trimester, provided there is ZERO government funding (your choice, your cost) and the aborted fetus is immediately and thoroughly incinerated to stop the vile, nay evil trade in body parts. If a woman can't make her choice in180 days, then there are bigger issues than just an unwanted pregnancy.

In exchange, Bumbledicks will immediately begin opposing mandatory tests, masks, injections, and medical procesdures of any kind.

We'll call a truce on the cornucopia of other issues until this cease fire sticks.

Despite this purely rational and equitable solution, I know what the Bumbledicks will do. They will want revenge and will start pushing their assault on everyone else's body integrity rights even harder. I cut them a little slack, because what's left of their minds is fogged over from vaccines and carbon dioxide poinsoning.

But hey, it's worth a shot to save the human race.

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-36689407241076410542021-07-19T11:26:00.006+07:002021-08-06T14:08:59.912+07:00A Texan Prepares

I occasionally get comments of the sort that I'm full of excetum bovis and don't believe half the stuff I say, or in this case write about. One of the things I am very serious about is being prepared, following the wisdom of Louis Pasteur, who famously said, "Fortune favors the prepared mind (La fortune favorise l'esprit préparé).".

I grew up with hurricanes and tornadoes, and I now live in one of the most earthquake prone, volcanic regions on the planet. Furthermore, we are all living through a period in which the Bumbledicks are driving humanity to the point where things have already started to burn. Living the prepped life, as I always have, means being fully self-sufficient under as many different circumstances as I can imagine for as long as I possibly can - meaning the rest of my natural days.

One reason I do this is to provide the most comfortable lifestyle for my family under the worst possible circumstances.

Another reason is that I have no intention of being one of those hapless people sitting in a filthy refugee camp being screamed at by goons with pathological lack of empathy and bad breath.

When one begins the process of prepping, the first order of business is to assume the worst possible scenario one thinks is most likely. For example, a major earthquake and tsunami wipe out any semblance of civilized living, and it is necessary to get far away from the filth, rot and despair left behind. Or perhaps millions of people are driven to desperation and begin revolting, followed by a strict military clamp down and one needs to bug out fast. Both scenarios have occurred within the past 50 years right here - the Banda Aceh quake and tsunami of 2004, and the military coup of 1964, or the sequel in 1998. I have no reason to believe they couldn't happen again.

So, once one imagines the worst-case scenario, one begins to ponder what things would be most important and then figure out a way to address the issues in the smallest, lightest way available. I also look for solutions that have multiple uses, so that each item you carry has a range of survival applications.

Finally, I highly recommend reading the Foxfire Series of books. This is a collection of lessons learned for self-sufficient living taken from folks living in the Appalachian mountains of the US (a.k.a. hillbillies). Tools are useless if you don't know how to use them.

Priority #1: Water

The average person will die in 3-5 days without water, and dehydration is not a pleasant way to go. There's also the issue of parasites and bacteria, which need to be addressed to prevent illness. My pack contains a Berkey Sport filter and storage for up to 10 liters for drinking and hygiene. I also have the necessary skills to make a water filter out of sand and charcoal, as well as knowing how to find subsurface water.

Note also the the mylar space blankets and climbing rope (mentioned below) can be rigged to catch dew and rain water for collection in the 10-liter water bladder.

Priority #2: Food

The average person will die in 20-30 days without food. In the tropics, finding food in the wild is not particularly difficult, but there is the matter of getting to it. My pack contains some beef jerky and 1kg of mixed nuts, which provide a surprising variety of vitamins, minerals, fats, and carbs in a compact and flavorful form. Chewing nuts also activates the salivary glands to keep mouth, sinuses and esophogus moist. I also have an assortment of seeds for vegetables if I manage to find a place where I don't have to move for a few months. Additionally, the seeds themselves can be eaten and are full of energy. Having skills for preserving and canning food are very handy, as well.

In addition to trail snacks, I have energy bars and soup packets, along with a German military style cook set, with two pots and a bowl in one neat package.

Priority #3: Shelter

Being able to get out of the elements is not only physically desirable, it has a significant psychological effect. My pack contains a machete, a hatchet, several knives, a 30m climbing rope, and mylar space blankets that can all be used to create and secure a make-shift shelter and even a house with enough time and scavenged materials. I also have a 4-person tent with enough room for 3 people and gear, which can shelter up to 6 people if half sleep at night while the other half keep watch, and vice versa.

There are tools, as well. A Leatherman's 17-in-1, a portable tool kit with a hammer, crescent wrench and pliers, and a gross of nylon and velcro cable ties.

Included under shelter are clothes. I carry 5 t-shirts, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 pairs of underwear, socks and a towel - always a towel. If you've read Douglas Adams, then you know how useful and necessary a towel can be.

Priority #4: First Aid

This is one thing that you can never fully anticipate nor preapare for. Fortunately, my wife and I don't require any regular medications, so a well-designed First Aid kit, some aspirin, and a variety of salves, cleansers and bandages is sufficient for most foreseeable issues. A little training in basic first aid helps, as well. Knowing how to set bones, close punctures and stanch bleeding is far more valuable than a weighty pack of stuff. Don't forget that a sewing kit not only repairs fabric, but can close a wound in a pinch, as well. Here, the most useful tools are a sharp pair of scissors and tweezers.

Priority #5: Communications & Luxuries

These are items that are extremely useful and can make life a lot more comfortable, but not critical to survival.

My pack contains a solar panel with two USB ports for phones, power banks and a 21-channel shortwave radio. The flashlight is also solar charged and has a third USB port. I have a trekking stick with built-in compass and flashlight that also serves to hook fruit a high as 4m off the ground (my height plus the stick). There's an air mattress and sleeping bag to make like just a little bit more tolerable, a magnifying glass for starting fires with a lens cleaning cloth, and a supply of Zip-Lok bags to keep things dry. I also carry a 2T solid-state disc with scans of all our documents, which I won't bother to list, but think of all the documents you might need in an emergency, along with a little cash and barter items. On the way out the door, I can also grab my original identity docs.

Altogether, the pack weighs about 20kg, or 50 pounds. It's a monster, but I agonized over the purchase and ended up with a Kelty Coyote 85-liter. It is extremely comforable and buckles up nice and tight to prevent load shifting and keep the weight close to my body. I am 189cm/6'-2" and the pack still has a little extra slack in all directions.

Life, as George Carlin obserived, is having a place for your stuff and an ever decreasing supply line of smaller versions of your stuff. My pack is designed for maximum survivability and functionaality, without sacrificing some key comforts. In a pinch, though, there are things that can be shed to lighten the load. Some are handy, other just fun, and any of those items can be pitched to get more agile.

So, there you are. Money where my mouth is. I am personally prepared for what I think may be the worst-case scenario in the near to mid future, and it is adapted to the environment where I live. The only remaining skill is knowing how to pack for maximum efficiency and functionality.

A note about electronic devices and carrying a solar charger. Plenty of people say why bother with this if it's TEOTWAWKI. My phone has two 128Gb SD cards, one in the phone and one stored in a safe, dry spot. Both are loaded with books, music, art, and even a couple of indispensable movies. My book collection contains about 4,000 titles ranging from how-to references to the most arcane philosophical treatises (think of all the reading time you'll have with no TeeVee). I am essentially carrying Western civilization on 2 grams of silicon. Though your phone may not reach out and touch anyone, it can be a life-saving reference library and educational tool.

None of this is wasteful or silly. Every last bit of it can be used for recreational hiking and camping. Considering the Frankenvaxxx has probably killed off most commercial pilots, I anticipate doing a lot of that for the foreseeable future, since we won't likely get off the island any time soon.

No worries, though. Indonesia has 5,000 deserted islands just waiting for me to assault them.

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-45794320220364167692021-07-13T03:52:00.002+07:002021-07-13T03:52:35.972+07:00The Dead Poets Society
From Dylan Thomas:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

From the results of medical analysis, he was exposed to Covid Delta (India) variant, He was vaccinated twice (finished). He doesn't know about when & where he was exposed. However, from Dr. Muthalib's statement (one of the presidential doctors), the condition in Jakarta was below.
Mr. Martono gives this advice:
1. In the home, routinely spray disinfectant.
2. Outside the house, despite lack of evidence use a two-layer mask.
3. According to Dr. Muthalib, the size of the Delta variant virus is much smaller than the previous variant, so that the Delta variant virus can float free in the air. Whereas the previous variant floated on saliva droplets from people talking (a distance of 1.5 meters from the origin of the droplets.
4. I submit to each individual to decide whether Mr. Martiono's suggestion is accepted and carried out and entirely, partially or partially carried out, or ignored. Just so, as is the right of individuals.
I beg for friends to pray for Mr. Martiono's healing.

Then, he tells us that the "sick" person was vaccinated and has no idea where or how. Then he appeals to authority, a formal fallacy, by quoting the President's personal doctor, who says the "Delta variant" is "smaller" and so floats easier on the breeze. Then the"doctor," who has offered no science or reference for the ridiculous assertions, to continuously disinfect our homes and wear two masks at all times (24/7), despite the provable fact that masks do nothing to stop the older, "larger" virus.

All of the statement are speculative, anecdotal and completely devoid of any evidence whatsoever that the information is true or based on any objective facts, or that the recommendations have any efficacy against any virus, much less against a supposed COVID or any variant by any name or "size".

That this "doctor" would assert that the "smaller" size of the Delta variant more easly floats on the wind is so utterly devoid of rationality as to make one question his sanity, much less his accumen. In one question, I drove an entire fleet of trucks through the gaping hole in logic. I've had all the usual shots that someone my age would have, plus a few extra.

In the early 1990s, I was part of a test group for a new herpess vaccine being developed at Baylor College of Medicine. I don't know what the outcome was, but I've never contracted herpes. I also spent a few years in operating rooms making training videos for surgeons. For that, I received a course of hepatitis C vaccine, consisting of three shots over six months. Don't know if it worked, but I've never had hepatitis C.

I have a Biomedical Photographer Certificate, which means I attended graduate-level Human Anatomy and Cellular Biology courses, to which I recently added an online Virology course. This enabled me to communicate meaningfully with doctors while writing, shooting and editing medical videos. While I am not a doctor, I have most certainly played one on TeeVee. I even had a set of custom scrubs and my own embroidered lab coat. I've even owned stethoscopes at various times in my life.

One of the videos I produced back then was a study of a new technique using hollowed-out virus shells to deliver mRNA into tumor cells that would replace/edit the "wild P53" gene and presumably turn off the cancer cells.

With all of that as predicate, I have never seen anything like the current push to get gene editing technology into so many people so quickly. Though the technology is 30 years old, the current gene editing modality wraps the mRNA "edit" in a form of artificial lipid (fat) coating that prevents the body from flushing the invader out and it has absolutely no place inside the human body. Furthermore, from what anyone can find about these "vaccines," they usurp the cell's normal functions and turn it into a factory for a mutated form of spike protein with three folded proteins at the tip.

If you're not up on Cellular Biology and Virology, the folded proteins are called prions, and are responsible for spongiform encephalopathy, or "sponge brain syndrome," or more commonly "mad cow disease". This is what causes the reported "brain fog" experienced by those who have been exposed to prions - either by the so-called SARS-COV-2 "virus," or through the so-called "vaccine".

It is astounding to me, with my limited knowledge of medicine and virology, that Big Pharma - in cahoots with Big Gummit - have tossed all safe practices, established protocols and more than a century of experience to literally endanger all humans on the planet with direct injections of materials that have no track record of efficacy or safety, using a modality with a poor health and safety record. In fact, the only part of this whole mess with any background of testing in humans is the technique of using mRNA to edit your DNA, and that's still poorly understood with little knowledge of long-term outcomes.

What is truly worrisome is the ever-growning messaging about "mandatory vaccinations," which is euphamistic for hog-tying people and forcefully pumping toxins into their bodies against their wills.

And this has begun in Indonesia - quietly but surely.

In most major cities in Indonesia, residential areas are devided into Rukun Tetangga (RT) or Neighbor Unit, and Rukun Warga (RW) or Community Unit. There are roughly 10 households in one RT, and about 10 RTs in an RW. They are analogous to the sheriff (RW) and deputies (RT), and the folks who run them are elected by the neighborhoods every two years.

The man who is the RT for my group of houses had stated that he was not interested in getting vaccinated, because he really did not understand what was being injected and he has heard all the rumors we all have of people getting seriously injured or killed by these potions.

That changed yesterday. The RW came by his house early in the morning and announced that he had to be vaccinated or his monthly stipend would be cut off. Since our RT is retired and his position is his primary source of income, he is in a true dilema and deeply concerned about receiving the toxins. As an elected official, he can't be fired, but the small income he receives is vital to his family.

Similarly, a good friend of mine, who teaches in a large nationwide private school system was forced to be vaccinated (with Sinovac) in order to keep his job, for which he had just signed a three-year contract. The pay is exceptional for a teacher, and his wife and daughter live comfortably off the single income. If his contract got cancelled, his visa would also be cancelled, and without a job and a sponsor, he'd be deported back to the UK despite his family being Indonesian nationals. Needless to say, the job market is not on his side with schools just now reopening and foreign workers not favored by the current administration.

A business associate, his wife and two friends went to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine together as a social event. All four were bed-ridden for several days. My associate reported that it felt like every nerve in his body was on fire, and any sensation (lying down, standing up, fan blowing, showering) was excruciating. This lasted four days. He did not report on the two friends other than to say they were quite sick, as well. He will not get the second shot.

While these three admittedly anecdotal incidents do not rise to the level of literal hog-tying, threatening one's ability to provide for one's family and essentially cutting them off from the general economy is as effective as tackling and jabbing.

I grew up on a farm with over 400 head of cattle and a whole menagerie of others animals. Twice a year, we had to round up the cattle and force them through a chute, where they were vaccinated, treated for parasites, given vitamin shots, branded, and the yearling males had their scrotums zip-tied to steer them. Any cows that balked had their tails twisted, electric prods poked at them, and in extreme cases, halters tied to the heads to both suck and blow them (see previous article) into submission.

The cattle analogy to the current effort to drive the human herd into the chutes is striking and vivid to me. The range of mental and physical tail-twisting being done to corral us into compliance feels exactly the way I imagine those cows felt. Most of the animals simply marched into the chute out of sheer bovine stupidity, others required minimal urging, and a few took significant prodding, but eventually they all went through, and their reward was to be turned back to pasture unmolested for another year.

Sound familiar?

Granting the proposition that a little knowledge can be dangerous, here's what I have not seen:

1. Zero verifiable, laboratory-certified and reproducable evidence that something called the SARS-COV-2 virus actually exists.

2. Zero evidence that ANY of the current products being forced on us match any of the legal or medical definitions of the term "vaccine".

3. Zero long-term safety and efficacy in vivo studies demonstrating the value of the "vaccines" for protection against the "virus".

4. A test for the presence of ANY virus that is objectively useful in the field by non-medical personnel, and that is not susceptible to random sampling errors, sterility errors and processing errors.

Here's what I have seen:

1. Massive psychological programming, including peer pressure, shaming and guilt trips.

2. Massive physical coercion to brow-beat and cajole folks into surrendering every single established Natural right, including and especially privacy and personal dominion, by threatening jobs, social liberties and freedom of movement.

3. Massive campaign to hide, obfuscate and manipulate information regarding this particular health issue for the sole purpose of creating self-doubt and surrender to proscribed actions to end mental, physical and/or spiritual pain = commonly known as torture.

4. Symptomologies ascribed to "COVID-19" that present exactly like seasonal influenza, bacterial pneumonia and hypoxia (from masks).

5. At least two well-tested and long-used drugs - Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine - that have shown significant benefits in the prevention and treatment of "COVID-19," and which have been buried and proponents ridiculed mercilessly simply because the drugs are cheap, effective, plentiful, safe, and most importantly, no longer patented.

The 1976 swine flu vaccine was cancelled after just 25 deaths in the US alone, and that is considered one of the biggest medical fiascos in living memory. The circumstances were similar: an untested vaccine was fast-tracked, by-passing all the normal safety protocols. There are people today who still suffer the physical injuries from that experience. In the final analysis, the swine flu did not justify those extraordinary measures, just as SARS-COV-2 do not in the current situation.

It would also be instructive to read up on the more recent experience with Gardasil, and the horrible injuries and deaths caused by a vaccine that did ostensibly follow the protocols, but where greed and avarice led horrors.

Mirroring the current circumstance, swine flu vaccine manufacturers were granted extreme immunity from liability and there was a major social conditioning effort to "normalize" getting the vaccine. Chevy Chase famously spoofed then-president Gerald Ford on Saturday Night Live with a hypodermic needle stuck in his arm.

History never repeats, but it sometimes rhymes, as Mark Twain wisely observed.

We can say with certainty that we are being lied to. What is harder to determine is what the precise truth is, since the stakeholders have criminally muddied the waters to hide it.

There is a nefarious agenda behind the actions of government and establishment "experts". When this kind of situation arises, logic dictates that we err on the side of caution and remain with the status quo until extraordinary proof can be presented for the extraordinary claims.

One would think that people would be a lot more skeptical of this whole mess, but in my daily dealings it seems that the majority have been scared out of their wits by imaginary viruses and cowed into accepting imaginary vaccines as the only remedy. Those who have not made that leap are being forced by economics and concern for their families into submitting against their better judgement.

The one ray of hope is that all of this is primarily an urban phenomenon. It seems that rural folks, being more pragmatic and less susceptible to social pressures, are so far escaping the madness. Being self-employed seems to be a key factor in one's effort to avoid injected toxins. How long this will be the case remains to be seen.

Let us hope that a great many more people will find creative means of resisting the onslaught. For myself, 70% of my income is online, and I am pushing that to 100% as fast as I can, which will allow me to move to my rural location - and hopefully sanity.

Wars are a series of battles, and not all battles need to be won to be the ultimate victor.

=======================================================
How about tossing a coin in our hat?
Bitcoin: bc1qth6drgzcyt7vlxxpvqh6erjm0lmaemwsvf0272
Etherium: 0xf1F04715704dbC5E2e96E047D4aBc22c611B6E86
Ripple: rMSQzLyE3RHacCLwYPADBbq4RHQ71HpCzw
Litecoin: LQeH2i9vMKMNx5WaLjAGaHWjtfhKL6yqCE

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-58501153791803289362021-05-31T18:49:00.005+07:002021-06-01T07:49:44.001+07:00What's Your Vector, Victor?

There are essentially two ways to move something in any given direction: increase the pressure behind it, or decrease the pressure in front of it. In physics, the direction (space) and speed of motion (time) combined are known as the "vector".

At it's most basic level, the Universe works on the "suck and blow" method. You can suck on something to draw it towards you, or blow on it to move it away from you. In all cases, the vector of motion is relative to "you". Away from "me" is towards "you". The concept of "speed" really has no meaning. There is only the rate of positional change relative to "you" and "me". After all, if "you" and "me" are moving at the same speed in the same direction (vector), then we appear stationary to each other. Think of sitting next to each other in a car. We are both travelling on the same vector, and so appear to be motionless relative to each other.

Fun, right?

Everything in the Universe is in motion, and it got that way by either being sucked or blown.

Some folks call this the "carrot and the stick" theory of Universe. The carrot draws you towards itself (reduces pressure in front of you), and the stick pushes you away from it (increases pressure behind you). Same thing, different analogy. I prefer "suck and blow," because it's more fun!

So anyway, how does this relate to the global situation and the "vector" of humanity? And the price of tea in China, for that matter?

Essentially, if something is in motion, then something else is either sucking or blowing to make it move. Once we figure out who/what is sucking, and who/what is blowing, all we have to do is determine the vector, and the motivation will be clear.

For instance, if you want to change a political power structure, you create a power vacuum (suck), and increase funding to particular elements (blow). The motive and goal are the vector, or space and time. If we know the direction of the vector, the motive will reveal itself, and the suckers and blowers will be obvious.

To really grasp this visualization, go back and read my theory on opinions. Vectors and ideas exist in three dimensions, just like the entire Universe. Everyone and everything is trying to lure us or force us onto certain courses (vectors) and into certain mindsets (ideas). They suck us or blow us in an effort to affect changes in our vectors.

So give us some examples of the Suck-Blow Theory, I hear you ask. Very well, as you wish.

Advertising sucks, It attempts to draw you to a product or service to complete a sale. Marketing, on the other hand, blows. It models your likes, dislikes and behaviors to find what motivates you and uses it against you to steer you towards a group of products and services, where the advertising can suck you in.

Government sucks. It attempts to lure us with perceived benefits. Taxes, on the other hand, blow. They force us to participate in government whether we want it or not.

Love sucks. We are drawn to someone by their attributes that we think will make good children. Hormones blow. They compel us to find someone to love, whether we want kids or not.

Gravity sucks, rockets blow. Tornadoes suck, fans blow. Tides suck and blow, depending on the time of day. Hamburgers and lotto tickets to lure unsuspecting victims to get vaccinated suck, while mandatory vaccines blow. Carrots suck, while sticks blow.

The more you think about it, the more you realize the entire Universe is a giant sucking sound, and it really blows.

All the forces around us are either pushing us in particular vectors, or creating a vacuum in front of us to lure us in a particular direction by reducing opposing pressure. Either way, we are constantly being dragged or shoved one way or another, whether by other humans or Nature herself. We are all sucked or blown by different things at different times of our lives, but at no time in this materium are we completely free from external forces. We are constantly being sucked and blown, and there's not a damn thing we can do about it.

It's a rather compelling concept and I'm glad I thought of it. By writing this all out, I am attempting to suck you into my point of view, and the various social media posts I did linking this article were a gentle blow to get you here to read it. Perhaps you have more examples of sucking and blowing that you'd like to share with us in the comments. For that, I will blow you to the bottom of the page and the comment box. I am also placing my crypto addresses below in an attempt to suck some coin out of your purse and into mine for this amazing and tantalizing insight into the Grand Workings of the Cosmos.

So really, there is no racism, or prejudice, or bigotry. The world is just full of people who suck us or blow us, and our vector is just the result of our motion through space and time as a result of being sucked and blown by others. In the end, it's out of our hands.

Love sucks. Hate blows.

Kind of poetic, don't you think?

=======================================================
How about tossing a coin in our hat?
Bitcoin: bc1qth6drgzcyt7vlxxpvqh6erjm0lmaemwsvf0272
Etherium: 0xf1F04715704dbC5E2e96E047D4aBc22c611B6E86
Ripple: rMSQzLyE3RHacCLwYPADBbq4RHQ71HpCzw
Litecoin: LQeH2i9vMKMNx5WaLjAGaHWjtfhKL6yqCE

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-56548935416742378852021-05-18T17:25:00.003+07:002021-05-20T07:48:29.489+07:00Mentis Imperium

On 31 October 1938, the Mercury Theater On The Air, directed by 23-year-old Orson Welles, adapted H. G. Wells' outstanding science fiction novel, "War of the Worlds," as a radio play describing the events in the book as if they were an actual newscast. It was essentially an elaborate April Fool's joke broadcast on Halloween night.

There was no television at the time, so the only sense the audience could rely on was their ears. The Mercury Theater was well-known, and Orson Wells' voice was easily identifiable, given that he was the voice of "The Shadow," a famous radio show, and one of the most popular radio productions of all time.

Anyone who tuned in a bit late, and tuned out early, might have missed the announcer introducing the Mercury Theatre on the Air, or Orson offering the broadcast as a Halloween prank for purely entertainment purposes. Maybe they didn't recognize Orson's voice, or those of his co-stars Joseph Cotton and Agnes Moorehead. Perhaps they were talking on that new-fangled telephone contraption and overheard (it was a party line) someone talk about the invasion from Mars. Perhaps they were fans of Perceval Lowell, the popular astronomer, similar to Bill Nye the "Science" Guy, who fancied he saw canals on the surface of Mars at the time (see Edgar Rice Burroughs and other pop fiction of the era).

Whatever the reason, a lot of people believed - for at least one hour of their lives - that Earth was under attack by Martians. Not everyone, of course. At the very least, folks in Grovers Mill, New Jersey, were well aware that it was a fiction.

This period was a heady time in mass media. The very concept of mass media had only recently been invented. In a short space of time, from the late 1800s until the mid-1950s, things like photography, telegraph, cinema, radio, and audio recording were a new technology that gave humans access to information from around the planet in relative real time. And they gave unscrupulous figures a new power never before unleashed on our species.

Until the advent of the 20th century, information could only travel as fast as a human or animal could run. Though the concept of editing was well-known from print, which was already 400 years old, applying it to the senses of sight and sound were unthinkable until the advent of motion pictures in the first decade of the 20th century.

On the first of November 1938, though, the world changed.

Even now, nearly a century later, the masses are blissfully unaware of the power of mass media. However, on that fall morning in 1938, a group of people at CBS and in the Mercury Theater on the Air became aware of the power they wielded.

Orson knew.

Just a year and a half earlier, the most dramatic event ever recorded live in human history, up to that point, had occurred. It went live over the radio in May 1937, and within a week, the newsreels were showing the shocking images to adult audiences all over North America. People were shocked, dismayed and emotionally damaged by that event. The Hindenburg was a technological marvel, akin to the Titanic of the air. It was a powerful propaganda piece, and its demise was as powerful as its existence.

In the space of two years, two events - one real, one imagined - had demonstrated the vast and untapped power of mass media. Executives were busily calculating the economic value of that power, while the academics were busy analyzing it. The former were seeking all the possible ways to capitalize on that power, while the latter were pondering the immense implications of it.

These two events launched an entire new industry, that of controlling and manipulating mass audiences. They launched the careers of people like Walt Disney, and created demi-gods out of performers and shysters. They weaponized advertising and marketing, and turned something called "news" into an industry, and later a control mechanism of unimaginable power. Suddenly, things as ephemeral as light and sound waves were exponentially more powerful than stone monuments and the printed page. These media were cheap and the delivery systems ubiquitous, and more importantly, required almost no effort on the part of the audience.

All of which begs the question, just how good have the techniques for manipulating and controlling humans gotten through the media? Glad you asked.

Our favorite scientidiots, some of whom dwell in the country of England, have admitted unsing coercive and manipulative media messages to instill fear in the population for the purposes of controlling their behavior.

Let that sink in for a moment while I go on to say, "I told you so," many times in fact, right here in these 12 years worth of blogs. It's not often, though, I get to point to actual quotations and admissions by the perpetrators.

The article in the London Telegraph quotes an unnamed participant (I hesitate to use the title of Scientist) talking about the nature of the decision:

One scientist with the SPI-B admits that “In March [2020] the
Government was very worried about compliance and they thought people
wouldn’t want to be locked down. There were discussions about fear being
needed to encourage compliance, and decisions were made about how to
ramp up the fear.”

The unnamed scientist adds that “The way we have used fear is dystopian.”

Though this is certainly not the first time this has been done, it is rare that anyone admits to it, since lucrative careers are built on such skills. There are two primary techniques used, known simply as personal benefit and personal threat, or more colloquially as "the carrot and the stick."

In the personal benefit category, the audience is told how they will gain prestige, wealth, admiration, or other vanity-stroking boost by acquiring a product or service. In the personal threat category, they are led to believe that they will lose any of those benefits, become a laughing stock, or otherwise be humiliated in the eyes of their peers if they don't acquire the product or service.

The former category includes luxury products or uniformed service providers emblazoned with the proper logos. For example, buying Nike shoes or a BMW will draw the admiration and envy of anyone who sees you in possession of these products. Perhaps a particular cologne will attract more desireable mates. Dining at a particular restaurant might impress others with your taste or sophistication.

In the latter category, you will be ashamed that your whites aren't whiter, or your body odor is offensive, or even repulsive. Perhaps sweating will reveal your nervousness, or the label on your clothes will reveal that you are a cheap bastard.

These are pretty run-of-the-mill and every single advertisement you have ever or will ever be exposed to uses one or both techniques to motivate you. For instance, you have bad breath and it offends others (threat), so buy our mouthwash and never worry again (benefit).

However, these techniques can and have been weaponized to control and manipulate entire populations. During the Cold War, the constant threat of nuclear annihilation kept Americans docile and subservient to government interests. A few of us remember "duck and cover" and air raid sirens going off every Friday at noon as constant reminders of just how fragile our grip on existence was, and of course voting and supporting government forces were the only viable solution.

In our current situation, the fear messages began as early of January of 2020. Media showed us images of people dropping in the streets, packed hospital wards and footage of ambulances and emergency services in action. Few folks noticed that almost all the images shown were stock footage from past crises, like chemical plant explosions, or even just random shots of Saturday night outside the local charity hospital.

We immediately panicked - on cue. We were told to lock ourselves indoors, buy copious amounts of sanitizer and apprise "authorities" of any signs of illness of any kind anywhere at anytime. Curiously, Americans also went on a toilet paper-buying rampage. I've yet to figure out where that came from, but apparently folks figured wiping their butts was far more important than eating and taking vitamins.

The message was very powerful: an invisible enemy was all around us and could kill us in a particularly painful and horrific way if we didn't cower in our homes, avoid all human contact, and (most importantly) trust the people paraded on the evening news to lead us to health and safety.

It was all completely and entirely manufactured. We were manipulated. The "experts" we were told to follow were in on the deception, in fact some are even guilty of conceiving and launching the deception for the purposes of their masters.

The fear campaign has intensified in recent months to include vaccines as the savior - the solution - that offers the benefit of freedom from fear. This is a curious thing, because the intangible and unseeable fear is now remedied by an equally unknown product, and the benefit is only relief from fear, not the return of liberties that were taken in response to the fear.

In other words, the relief from fear is nothing more than being stabbed with a needle (more fear) containing a substance that no one really knows what's in it. For all we know, it is just salt water with a nifty label on the vial that has the magical spell "vaccine" printed on it. Of course, that's not the case, since so many people are in fact dropping dead or having life-threatening events because of it.

This is unlike any campaign I have ever seen, though it is operating according to very precise phases that i am familiar with. Phase I is threat - the who, what, where of the operation. This was the early reports and images back during January to May of 2020. Phase II is worry - the audience internalizes the threat and panics , seeking some outside entity to rescue them. Phase III is hope - solutions are proffered and focused on the entity that will deliver the remedy. Phase IV is enlistment - once the remedy is made available, members of the audience who are susceptible to control are enlisted to coerce more resistant members using "carrot and stick". For instance, a wary husband might be coerced by his wife with promises of intimacy once he is "safe" from the vaccine.

This process is essentially a complex form of the Hegelian Dialectic - thesis, antithesis, synthesis. There is a problem for which a solution is found and all participants are made whole again by partaking in the solution. Thesis: there is a deadly virus. Antithesis: wash hands, stay indoors, avoid contact. Synthesis: vaccination restores normalcy.

We have been deceived.

The thesis or threat may or may not be real. We have no way of knowing from the evidence currently in the public domain. All we know for certain is that a number of performers in white lab coats have told us there is a "new" virus that causes deadly symptoms and there is no "known" cure for this situation.

The antithesis is that we must lock ourselves in our homes, avoid all contact with other human being and surrender ALL of our basic human rights - assemble, worship. speak, travel, choose, etc.

The synthesis is a substance that has not been tested, uses a completely new technology and may cause unforeseen harm. You MUST submit to having this substance injected into your body by lab-coated performers before what you used to call rights, but are now just privileges, are partially returned to you...maybe.

To say every part of this scenario is wide open to deception, manipulation and coercion is an understatement. In fact, the entire Damn-Panic is one massive conspiracy theory, for which there is exactly zero incontrovertible proof.

Ask yourself this: has anyone anywhere at any time in the past year held up a vial labelled "SARS-COV-2 - Live Sample," carefully removed its contents, placed them under a scanning electron microscope, and shown you point by point why this virus is any different from the Common Cold, or why it might be more deadly? We won't even talk about the alleged "variants" that magically appeared right after the vaccines started rolling out.

You would think that an emergency of this scale involving an object smaller than we can perceive with our eyes would call for extraordinary educational efforts. In fact, not only have the performers NOT done this, they have constantly changed the story, moved the goal posts, given and rescinded privileges, and essentially told us absolutely nothing of any value concerning this situation. We are told to respect, trust, submit, and not ask questions.

We have been deceived by masters of the game. It is a marketing plan that has been weaponized, utilizing psychological tools to manipulate our most basic instincts.

We are at fault. We surrendered. We were uncritical and credulous. We were fearful and weak. But it's not the end of the world. It's time to wake up from the spell, realize we've been had, and take back our agency as free adult humans.

WWOD? The most fundamental of those lies is conning people into thinking one person or group has more power than anyone else. This is the nature of government.

Underlying all power structures is fear, and this is the goal of all lies. Convince someone to be afraid of something, then convince them you have a way to protect them, and they will transfer their personal power to you (vote) in order to be delivered from the fear.

Essentially, the nature of power is to create a bogyman - a non-existant threat - to initiate fear, then offer a proprietary solution to the fear, but that solution has a price that inevitably creates more fear. However, since the masses are choosing the proffered solution, those seeking power cannot be blamed, since the masses have chosen.

Unless, of course, they realize that the original boogyman was itself a lie.

I think of this as the Boots and Coots method and governance. If you are not familiar with Boots and Coots, then you've never worked in the oil patch (don't tell Mom, she thinks I'm a piano player in a whorehouse).

Boots and Coots is famous for their rather contra-intuitive solution to oil well fires. They place a "chimney" around the burning well, then set off explosives inside that snuff out the fire by consuming all the oxygen within. Only Texans would think of blowing up fires.

Anyway, the analogy here is that the presumed leaders create a fearful problem that only they have the solution to fix, but the solution turns out to be worse than the initial problem, and it requires even more draconian solutions in a never-ending cycle. Meanwhile, each iteration ratchets up the fear levels among the masses, who keep transferring more power to buy safety, based solely on the perception that the group with power was able to solve the previous crisis.

It is essential that the masses never realize the group with power were the creators of the bogeyman, or that the proffered solutions are designed to create more fear and never actually solve anything. To maintain these illusions requires an ever expanding circle of lies to cover up the tracks of the previous deception.

Eventually, the lies get so outrageous that the masses start to wake up from their dream-state and question what the hell is going on around here. At this point, the governing power mongers must now turn to utter tyranny to force the masses to believe the lies, or face severe sanctions, which in turn causes more of the masses to wake up.

It's a vicious cycle and the outcome is invariably war and collapse - war because the level of force required to force the masses to believe the lies, and collapse because the entire system is founded on a lie.

The ultimate issue is that when the masses awaken, they are angry and vengeful. Notice here that I use the present participle gerund "awakening," rather than the simple past "woke". The gerund implies an ongoing process of discovery that leads to understanding. The simple past aspect implies a one-time event that is complete and needs no further action. They are wildly different in their incarnations and outcomes, and highlight the importance of language and grammar in critical thinking processes.

In our current situation, one who is awakening is seeking answers and relationships to fully understand what has been done, and what is being done to them. One who is woke has already decided they know the answer, and in the extant situation, that answer has been provided to them by the very group that seeks to control them.

The woke individual is convinced that the answer is rectifying the treatment of individuals based on their demographic and superficial characteristics. It goes something like this: the root of all evil is slavery, and only those with dark skin have ever been slaves, therefore elevating those with dark skin to positions of power will solve the problem.

The fallacy here is manifold. First, slavery has been visited on all races, creeds and cultures at some point or another. There is no one group who can claim special status in this regard. The second problem is promoting some group into the existing power structure simply makes them accessory to the lies, rather than solving any problem. In other words, it only perpetuates the bogeyman lie, while at the same time placing another layer of blame between the perpetrators and the angry, vengeful masses.

The perceptive reader will see where this is going. By holding up some group as sacrosanct, the power mongers are in fact creating a strawman to hide the bogeyman, and thus deflect blame and retribution, or to use their terms, turning the awakening into the woke.

Some might say this is the Hegelian Dialectic, but that over-simplifies the subtlety and cunning at work here. The Dialectic is fairly straightforward and easy to discern, when you know what to look for. The deception we are suffering from is far more insidious and destructive, and invidious.

Invidious because the power mongers want our wrath and retribution for two specific reasons. One, they can blame the destruction on the masses, offer a solution, and the entire process starts again with a new bogeyman and fresh set of lies (see the January 6th "insurrection"). Two, they have superior fire-power and having a bogeyman creates the predicate to use it as a solution (witness the pillar of lies used to create this bogeyman). The bogeyman also creates a false target that deflects attacks as surely as any shield.

This in turn creates fear, and fear leads to surrender of power, and surrender leads to more tyranny and lies.

It's a vicious cycle, one that has repeated for millennia.

An excellent analogy is the unscrupulous mechanic. You bring your car to him with some problem. He tinkers and taps his way around the engine, usually while you are in air-conditioned comfort sipping your "free" coffee. He tells you it will be so much to fix the problem, and you agree, not having taken the time to learn auto mechanics. A few hours later, you happily drive off, not knowing that the mechanic fixed the easy problem, but created another that will bring you back in a few weeks. Not only were you fleeced on the initial visit, but you will surely be fleeced again in the near future.

The solution to our current manufactured fear is not diversity, intersectionalism, reparations, or wokeness. It is taking the time to truly peel away the layers of lies and find the original bogeyman that created the situation - the Primordial Lie, if you will.

The Primordial Lie is never spoken of or acknowledged by the power mongers and their minions. It is far older than the current laundry list of issues put before us. It is so ingrained into our social and cultural trappings that most people assume it is tautological. It is the very energy source on which the matrix operates. When the awakened individual finds it, they realize both how simple and how devious it is.

Ending the cycle is amazingly easy. Don't be afraid, or in the immortal words of Douglas Adams, "Don't panic!"

We must realize that the object of our fear, the bogeyman, is manufactured to create fear. We must also realize that we have been trained (schooled) to hand over our personal power to "authorities" and "experts," who in reality have no more clue how to solve anything than we do, but are adept at creating the conditions that cause us to react in a way that is beneficial to them. It's a simple dominance game that bypasses our rational faculties and feeds on our instincts.

Basic awareness of the motive is the most powerful weapon we have. Just knowing what is being done leads to how it's being done. At that point, the spell is broken and the rest is the hard part.

Once the spell is broken, we must think for ourselves and be responsible for our own safety. That is the part for which our society is built to subvert. Games, sports, movies and the rest are nothing more than glittering distractions to prevent us from thinking.

And that is THEIR greatest fear..

=======================================================
How about tossing a coin in our hat?

..
Bitcoin: bc1qth6drgzcyt7vlxxpvqh6erjm0lmaemwsvf0272
Etherium: 0xf1F04715704dbC5E2e96E047D4aBc22c611B6E86
Ripple: rMSQzLyE3RHacCLwYPADBbq4RHQ71HpCzw
Litecoin: LQeH2i9vMKMNx5WaLjAGaHWjtfhKL6yqCE

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-48025736843071359572021-05-07T14:38:00.015+07:002021-05-07T15:51:03.295+07:00Some Thoughts On Thinking

This may sound like a strange question, but do you think about thinking?

Believe it or not, it's a real thing. It's called cognitive science, and it employs a lot of people covered in sheep skins sitting around thinking about thinking. They ask the really tough questions, like how do we think? Why do we think? What do we think about? And most importantly, why do we think what we think?

Philosophers since ancient times have killed a lot of goats and pulverized a lot of trees pondering these questions. They have proposed reams of hypotheses, outlined scads of analyses, and probably smoked a lot of opium trying to figure out how and why people think.

Personally, I think the answer for the most part is, "They don't."

In any event, to get my degree as a professional communicator, I had to take a full year of cognitive science classes and write a bunch of papers about the use of role-playing, gate-keeping, linking, and remembering.

While this may all seem a bit tedious, even pointless, it plays a major part in your life. Thought modelling is the basis for algorithms, which more or less control every aspect of our lives these days. Behavioral responses are linked to cognitive processes that determine your suseptibility to advertising, marketing and other forms of mass stimuli. Like it or not, folks who think about thinking can predict almost without fail how you will react to certain input by collecting your online data.

Now I could go on for hours about this topic, but I want to focus on a model I made that offers insight into personal opinions.

The illustration at the top is a visualization tool for how I think about opinions. While much of the world is told to think of opinions in two dimensions - left/right, red/blue, etc. - I think of opinions in three dimensions with six aspects. I have found that every opinion I've ever had or encountered falls somewhere within this matrix. It doesn't matter what the topic is, and doesn't care what your political or ideological beliefs are. In fact, the belief structure is the box in which the matrix is contained.

Take something as mundane as pork bacon. The box would be your religious ideology. Those with religious strictures against eating pork would fall somewhere in the -X/+Y range, and may actively try to keep others from eating pork bacon (+Z) or not care what you do (-Z). I personally think pork bacon is God's gift to Mankind (+X), but I won't force anyone else to eat it (-Y), but I will actively seek sources to purchase it despite living in a predominantly Muslim country (+Z).

Now take something as contentious as abortion rights. You might feel strongly that it is an individual choice (+X/+Y), but you would not participate in rallys or take political action (-Z). On the other hand, you might believe it is murder and an offence against humanity (-X), you are very passionate about that belief (+Y) and you would join in a protest to block a clinic (+Z). The box is most likely a religious belief system.

If we assign a set of values to the aspect, say 1 through 5 moving out from the intersection, we can plot a whole range of opinions and even begin to see which ones are contradictory.

More importantly, at least from a commercial point of view, we can find a pattern that can be matched with your behavioral pattern, and suddenly we have a predictive model of you, and we can use it to target your weak spots.

The box can be any set of overarching beliefs that affect our opinions. It could be as large as a weltanschauung, or as small as a personal taste. It could be an Aristotelian Materialist box that colors everything you think, or a salty foods box that affects your opinion on various cuisines. It really gets fun when you place a whole lot of small boxes inside a weltanschauung box, and start producing a set of sets model for any given individual.

The latter is essentially what is happening this very moment as you and I post on social media and make purchases with credit cards and search for items on Amazon. Each collecting organization sells its data on us to other organizations, then they overlap the data by name, location and demographic information, and POOF! They've made a little digital you inside a supercomputer somewhere in Silly-Con Valley.

Your thought and behavior matrix is as unique as a fingerprint, but it is also predictive. For instance, if you are +X/+Y/+Z about bacon, I can predict some of your shopping habits. Additionally, based on other data in your personal matrix, I can create a table of probabilities that predict how you will react to certain stimuli. If your box is Materialist, then you are receptive to ads for luxury items, entertainment and day spas. If your box shows a strong interest in self-sufficiency and practicality, you are receptive to ads for DIY products and urban real estate.

And that's just the beginning.

This type of model is used by social media giants to decide who gets cancelled. It's not just what you say or believe, but the effect you have on others. The giants are strongly -X/-Y/+Z, and they are hunting folks who are +X/+Y/+Z. As the list shrinks, their quantitative criteria will move closer and closer to the null point, or intersection of the axes. Even better, they can influence you to edit your thoughts and behaviors to move yourself closer to the null point, a process known as herding.

Think you can't be herded? How many cash transactions have you made in the past month? There was a time when people got really upset at the idea of a cashless society. Now, most folks hardly use cash at all, not because of some rule or law, but because we have been herded there with online shopping, cards of every conceivable type, and the use of online credits to buy services, like ride-hailing and game tokens.

Your online behavior has allowed a group of corporations to create a set of carrots to lead you in directions that make them happy, so they don't have to pull out the stick and spook the rest of the herd. Even more thought-provoking, they have convinced you that it makes you happy, as well.

This behavior modifiaction stuff is fun and profitable!

The moral of this story is that we should all spend a bit more time thinking about thinking. How do you think? Why do you think what you think? What do you think? How does your thinking affect your behavior?

Try making your own opinion matrix. Think of random opinions you have, plot them out in the matrix. After a short time, you'll start seeing patterns in your thinking. When you find the pattern, think about what belief system (box) is skewing your thinking. Become cognitive of your own cognition.

The benefit, other than self-awareness, is that you can use this tool to create artificial creatures that are absoltely consistent in what they say and how they behave online. This might be a useful skill in the near future.

Think about it.

============================================

If you'd like to tip the author with minimal hassle, maximum benefit and zero trace, consider tossing some crypto in the hat:

Bitcoin: bc1qth6drgzcyt7vlxxpvqh6erjm0lmaemwsvf0272
Etherium: 0xf1F04715704dbC5E2e96E047D4aBc22c611B6E86
Ripple: rMSQzLyE3RHacCLwYPADBbq4RHQ71HpCzw
Litecoin: LQeH2i9vMKMNx5WaLjAGaHWjtfhKL6yqCE

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-42498914781763968122021-05-06T18:05:00.003+07:002021-05-30T05:28:10.747+07:00Premium Price For Carbon

UPDATE 30 May 2021: Man convicted in Missouri for selling fake "organic" meat. This case only proves that they are protecting the logo and brand, not the perceived quality of "organics".

Back in the late 1970s, I had a "day" job as a produce buyer for the most famous grocery store ever in the history of the world.

I'm not kidding.

I say "day" job, because being a produce buyer meant getting up at 2am, and driving a truck out to the farmer's market to buy veggies as they came off the trucks from the fields. All my wives have appreciated my talent for selecting produce for flavor, freshness and the exact moment it will ripen.

I also hung around the top restaurants in Houston, and possibly the world, acquiring a taste for fine dining and learning tricks of the trade from top chefs.

One of those top chefs was my mother. Though never tested, I imagine she could take dog meat and dress it up so fine, James Beard couldn't tell the difference.

I even dated a chef for a time. She was trained at the CIA (not THAT one) and taught me one of the neatest tricks I've ever learned - how to de-bone a chicken from the inside out. Makes great stuffed chicken and turducken.

All of this is by way of saying I know a bit about food, and specifically produce (food plants, fruit, legumes, tubers, and fungi to be clear), and also to say that I know for a fact that people have been paying premium prices of "organic" foods since at least the 1970s, and likely long before that.

When folks think of organic foods, they ofter imagine the wagyu beef of the veggie world - daily massages, listening to Mozart, people paid to sit around and talk kindly to the plants, that sort of thing. They might imagine strict oversight by government organization, ensuring your "orginic" food has no chemical fertilizers or insecticides. Perhaps folks might go so far as to think "organic" means no mucking about with a plant's genome, a.k.a. GMO seeds.

If you are one of those folks, you should get prepared, 'cause here it comes.

There is no legal definition of "organic," nor is there any government enforcement of the term "organic". In the USA, which has some of the strictest "ideas" about what "organic" means, the entire labelling system is a voluntary process, and acquiring the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) "organic" label means a farmer's produce is at least 95% "organic". Note, however, that the whole thing comes down to a label, and little else.

In 1990, the US Congress mandated the USDA create a set of standards for "organic" foods. Note here that it is a set of standards, not laws, rules nor any kind of enforcement structure. In 2000, the USDA formed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) which created the National Organic Program (NOP), whose sole job it is to hand out and protect the "integrity" of the USDA Organic label. You will note carefully that their job is to protect the label, not the food.

Yes folks, "organic" is a marketing program, backed up by a PPP that enforces a set of practices, and your local farmer can voluntarily join the program, fill out a bunch of forms, get inspected once a year and follow 95% of the guidelines to earn the right to use a label.

That's it.

If you don't follow the guidelines, you get your wrist slapped and you can no longer put the little sticker on your produce and you're not invited to the annual conference in Las Vegas, but you can still call it "organic," and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

And that extra cost for "organic" food? That's to pay for all the bureaucracy and the dancing girls at the Vegas hoe-down.

A big part of the problem here is that "orgainc" has a specific definition:

or•gan•ic
ôr-găn′ĭk

adj.

Of, relating to, or derived from living organisms.

adj.

Of, relating to, or affecting a bodily organ.

If your produce falls under the qualification of "life as we know it," meaning carbon is its primary constituent, then it is by definition "organic". Everything else is marketing. And one of the great deceptions of marketing is that it's not what you claim, but how you word it.

Remeber that little detail about 95%? You can drive a whole lotta sins through that remaining 5%. For instance, if less than 5% of the genome is artificial, "organic". If less than 5% of the farmer's weed killer is glyphosate, "organic". If the farmer uses less than 5% ammonium nitrate, "organic." If the irrigation system only receives 5% of its water from the local nuclear plant, "organic".

Essentially, paying top dollar for the "organic" label is a marketing ploy backed up by the watchful eye of a PPP that follows the guidelines of the USDA. Your food is no more safe, fresh or natural than any other apple on the cart.

There's a fun little test you can do right in the socially distance comfort of your home. Next time you brave the prutid and infected world to run to the store and buy some high-priced "organic" veggies, be sure to save the seeds. Rinse them off and dry them thoroughly, then plant them in some nice "organic" soil, throw a little water on them every day, and be sure not to use ammonium nitrate or glyphosate. In about 5-8 weeks, let us know what came of your little experiment.

I'll bet you decide to save a few bucks and stop shopping at Whole Foods by end of summer.

By the way, putting a couple free-range chickens in your back yard is a fantastic, "organic" pest control system, and all those bugs make the yolks dark yellow and full of flavor!

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-41891514085171916892021-05-03T21:39:00.014+07:002021-05-09T14:19:55.619+07:0060 Cycles

In preparing to write this exciting installment, I did what any brilliant writer does: I went outside on the porch for a smoke to procrastinate. For those who are not writers, it is difficult to understand just how painful this process is, and to what lengths we will go to in avoiding it.

Anyway, I got out on the porch and realized I had finished my last pack, so I went back in to fetch a fresh one out of my office. When I got to my desk, I thought I'd kill two stones with one bird, and plugged in my cell phone and went back outside.

When I got there, I realized that I hadn't fetched a new pack, cursed loudly, and went back inside. On the way, I stopped by the kitchen to tell my wife the story thus far, and laugh at my obvious descent into senility.

Then I went back outside.

I cursed again, choosing more colorful terms to express myself. I even made up a couple of new bad words, which I need to write down before I forget them.

I went back to my office and finally remembered to grab a pack of distraction.

As I stood on the porch, fumes circling me like ghostly vultures, I tried to drown out the obscene racket coming from the local mosque. The cantor is nine years older than God, and sounds like a rutting bullfrog with strep throat fighting larynial cancer, while sticking a finger down his throat trying to scrape nodules off his vocal chords.

And he keeps the amp cranked to 11, while swallowing the mic. Ugh!

And that's on a good day.

I was trying to drown out the racket by thinking of my impending 60th birthday. I took a long, sullen pull from my cigarette, as I had done nearly every day for the past 55 years. I looked up at the Moon, now well above the horizon, as I had done nearly every night for the past 58 years.

I wondered if I had gained any insight, a nugget of wisdom distilled from nearly 2/3rds of a century.

Nope. Not really. The cupboard was bare.

So I procrastinated some more, lit another fag, and released a fog of blue-gray phantoms. Life, it seems, is a long, slow process of forgetting everything I was absolutely certain about 40 or so years ago. It's a degredation of vision from pure blacks and whites, into infinite shades of gray.

One positive aspect of growing old is losing debilitating empathy. I am nearly to the point where I no longer give a shit what anyone else thinks or feels. Not entirely. I guess I've narrowed it down to a highly selectinve group of folks. The rest of the world can piss off.

It's very liberating.

Another positive aspect of aging is that, sometime in the past couple of years...not really sure when...testosterone released its death grip on my mind. I can finally think clearly without the need to tailor everything into attracting potential mates that has consumed virtually every waking moment, and most sleeping moments too, for the past 48 years. This is likely related to the not giving a shit mentioned previously.

Other than these weirdly random pains in weirdly random parts of my body at weirdly random times, I'm reasonably healthy for all the wear and tear. Despite my wife's constant worry, my blood pressure and cholesterol are nearly textbook perfect. I don't generally get sick, though the occasions that I do are doozies.

The last episode was about seven years ago. I managed to contract typhus, amoebic dysentery and dengue fever all at the same time. I spent 20 days in the hospital alternately freezing, roasting and oozing blood from every pore. It was very exciting.

People I hardly knew were stopping by to bid farewell and my wife's church group formed regular prayer circles around my death bed. To this day, I maintain that it was cheeseburgers that pulled me through. Had I stuck to the bland, pale food substitutes the hospital forced on me, I would be worm meat by now.

So what does one do when one faces 60? I tried to make a bucket list, but I've done pratty much everything I ever thought would be fun to do, except go to Antarctica - and yes, I've already shopped boat rides out of Tazmania for when the jerk-offs who think they run the planet let us get back to ignoring them.

I wouldn't mind going into orbit, too. When I was a kid watching the Mercury astronauts letting themselves get shot into the Great Beyond atop ballistic missiles, I thought we'd all be vacationing on Mars by now. The jerk-offs screwed that up, too.

I've stepped on six continents and lived in six countries. I've had at least four distinct careers and left some small mark on all of them. I've launched off the deck of an aircraft carrier in an A-10 fighter jet. I was allowed 30 minutes in the actual trainer for the astronauts who landed on the Moon. I've met dozens of people whose names are burned into history - for better or worse. I've been as deep as 100 meters into the ocean by various means. I've been a part of one of the largest peaceful crowds ever, and I've been profoundly and incredibly alone for various lengths of time.

I've been a Benedictine and Buddhist monk. I've midwifed calves, colts, lambs, kittens, and puppies, and I've eaten them.

I really can't complain. Too much.

So what do I know for sure after 60 years of exploration down here in the materium?

I know that I'm not finished yet. And I know I don't want to live forever. Nothing seems more terrifying than living forever.

I hate figs and beets. I love pate du foie gras on liver biscuits with capers and red onions, but I hate even the thought of fried liver and onions. I hate crowds and love the desert and mountains. I hate deadlines and schedules, but I thrive when they are short and the pressure is on. I hate losing, but winning never seems worth the effort to attain it. I love learning, but I hate studying.

I'd much rather hear one person I respect tell me "good job," than the empty adulation of throngs.

In the end, I have more beads of sweat than pearls of wisdom. I suppose that's the way it should be, though. As any true artist knows, no creation is ever finished.

So I guess I'll just have another smoke and procrastinate some more. Who knows? Maybe I'll come up with the perfect line to end this screed.

============================================

Want to support our efforts without a bunch of corporate "guidelines" in the way? D. Grover's "Devil's Dictionary," 2nd Edition: A "conspiracy theory" is a truth that is widely discredited and officially denied. Once exposed, it is widely acknowledged as self-evident and officially discussed in the passive voice.

Imagine you are a Spanish conquistador in the 1500s.

You are sent to the so-called New World to initiate trade with the natives, who aren't really there, because it's a "new world," right? Anyway, they this stuff called tobacco and something called chocolate, which will likely find a huge market in the Old World.

You've got sacks full of gold pieces of eight, with which to buy these amazing new products. But the natives don't want gold. Turns out they have piles of the stuff, and while it makes some pretty art, it's not all that useful to these "new" folks. How do you find a convenient currency that both sides find valuable, and with which you can buy all those nifty "new" products?

If you're a conquistador, the solution is easy. You hack and slay the locals and just take the goodies, and while you're at you, you squat on their land and take over the place.

Now let's say two wildly different cultures, say Earthlings and Orionids, want to trade with each other. Both sides have goodies the other wants, but other than hauling ships full of commodities back and forth, there's no mutually agreeable currency that both sides can use...They have no use for our paper when they trade with the Pleidians, and the Pleidians are allergic to paper. Conversely, whatever the Orionids and Pleidians use for currency, we have no interest in it. Besides, one Orionid Flurb is worth one trillion US dollars, due to hypergalactic inflation.

So how do we trade if there's nothing they have that we want, and nothing we have that they want?

Except energy.

Turns out everyone uses electricity in some form or another, generated by some means or another. So the Orionids suggest we create a currency out of electrical Watts, since they have a measurement very similar to that. They suggest we call it Blips, since that means "wealth" in Orionian.

So industrious little humans (the Orionids are HUGE, you see) set about writing code that turns raw electricity into Blips, based on a certain amount of physical work (Watts) that each unit will perform. Earhlings, being used to physical currencies, decide to call these units Blip coins, even though they don't have any physical structure. As it happens, not have physical structure makes them idea for moving around the galaxy, too, because there is no mass to accelerate or decelerate. Just little packets of Watts zipping hither and yon.

At first, the Earthlings are dubious. How can little packets of Watts have any value? You can't hold one or put it in your pocket. In fact, you can't even see a Blip unless it's registered by another bit of code they all decided to call wallets, because that's how they used to store paper.

Quickly, the Earthlings realized that these Blipcoins made trading with the off-planet colonies simple and easy. Instead of converting amounts into and out of Moonbux or Marsbux, they just zapped Blipcoins to each other across the interplanetary exonet. Suddenly, business boomed and cargo ships could add more cargo in the space that was once consumed by paper. And just like the old paper, when things got really rotten, you could burn the Blipcoins for lighting and heat

The moral of this story is: have you checked the price of Blipcoins lately?

============================================

Want to support our efforts without a bunch of corporate "guidelines" in the way? You also may not be aware that the observance is based on the Lunar Year, which is about two weeks shorter than a Solar Year, so over the years, Ramadan slowly precesses up the calendar, coming slightly earlier than the year before. For instance, when I first moved to Indonesia in 2008, to escape the Shrub Administration in the US, Ramadan was in October. This year it began in mid-April.

And here Catholics thought trying to figure out when Easter comes in any given year was complicated. At least you know it always happens on a Sunday.

So anyway, during the 29 days of Ramadan, the observant practitioner refrains from eating or drinking from sun up to sun down. In fact, the strict observers will refrain from even swallowing their own saliva, which in some places offers an interesting sight of hundreds of folks spitting all day long.

In my experience, many folks just sleep all day, so as to avoid temptation. After about 7am, neighborhoods become deathly silent until about 5pm, when the womenfolk commence to rattling pots and pans in anticipation of sun down.

Ramadan culminates in the Eid al-Fitr, or Idul Fitri in Indonesian, which is the Feast of Breaking Fast. To give the Western reader a sense of what this is like, imagine Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day all rolled into one.

In Indonesia, Idul Fitri is followed by Lebaran, which is officially a three-day holiday, but in practice is anywhere from two weeks to a month. This holiday involves mudik (exodus), in which every living being abandons the city to pulang kampung, or return to the home town. Mudik is followed by lavish feating and one of the most amazing redistributions of wealth known to Humankind.

Leading up to Lebaran, people exchange gift baskets of sumbako, or essential foods, usually rice, fruit syrups for flavoring water, canned goods, and homemade snacks in the form of bite-sized cookies and other sweets.

It is also a time for Tunjangan Hari Raya Keagamaan, or more commonly THR. This literally means, "Religious Holiday Subsidy". Employers are required by law to give all employees a 13th month of salary, while out in everyday life, it means everyone and their brother expects a tip for everything and the police become extra diligent in enforcing traffic laws. Meanwhile, back at the kampung, folks return home with wads of cash (borrowed of course) to hand out to family members, displaying their financial success in the previous year for all to see.

One curious feature of this ostentatious display of imaginary wealth is that new car sales spike just before Lebaran, and then slightly used car sales spike roughly two to four weeks later.

The practical side of all this is that those of us who stay in the cities find ourselves in literal ghost towns for a couple of weeks after 90% of the population scattered to the winds.

Except for this year - and this is the fun part.

This year, Jakarta's illustrious and all-knowing gubbener declared that Lebaran, and specifically mudik, are cancelled in the battle to contain the spread of the Fauci Flu Damn-Panic. Beginning May 1st, no one will be allowed to leave the city.

In most countries, this kind of officious edict might be taken seriously, but this is Indonesia, where finding creative ways of circumventing the law is a national pastime. Instead of waiting for the annual THR payment a week before Lebaran, folks began packing up and moving out almost as soon as Ramadan began.

Around my neighborhood, shops and restaurants have shut down. Food stalls that appear on the streets at sun down have vanished and one can actually stroll down the sidewalk unmolested. Traffic has dwindled to early Damn-Panic levels. The floating oil slick euphemistically called "air" in these parts, has cleared. Offices have emptied out and ride-hailing services have added 25% to 50% to their normal tariffs in hopes of encouraging drivers to roll out of bed.

Given that Idul Fitri begins on May 12th, and under normal circumstances this would all occur around the 9th or 10th, this is really quite humorous, and it highlights not only the illusory self-importance the politicians put on themselves, but also the fact that the people aren't buying the Damn-Panic.

This shows, in all its absurdity, that numbnuts sitting in their pre-embargo ivory towers have exactly zero real power to change human nature. The Great Awakening is not so much because the city's illustrious gubberner Anus Bathwater has released his iron grip on the throats of residents, so much as Indonesians have a wonderful capacity to ignore the rules when they no longer serve the people's purposes.

I have been going about my business since June of 2020. I spent the months of March and April of that year in obligatory fear and panic. If my wife or I went out of the house, we had a screen set up on the porch to disrobe outside, bag our clothing, sanitize, and then dash for the shower.

That was back when no one clearly understood what was going on and we took every precaution possible to keep our home as virus-free as any non-Level-4 bioweapons lab could be.

During those two months I read, I researched, I took online courses in virology. I carefully studied every report of symptoms, revelations and possible treatments and cures. I did everything, in fact, EXCEPT watch TeeVee, and that is most likely why I haven't been afflicted with the Fake Science Narrative Syndrome (FSNS or fiss-niss).

Once I realized that the world was living in terror of the Common Cold, my household went to Yellow Alert and we went about our lives. The only concession I've made to the insanity since that time is to wear a cloth surgical mask, on which I cut out the cloth and replaced it with with mosquito netting. It meets the precise letter of the law, while not restricting my airway and allowing me to demonstrate just how insane all this is.

So, speaking of insanity, I had to meet some folks last night to discuss business, and they had chosen that Great American Woke-a-tarian Church to Our Lady of Eternal Consumption, popularly known as Starbuck's.

Now I haven't sullied the soles of my sandals in a Starbuck's establishment in years. I didn't like their ridiculous politics before the Fauci Flu Damn-panic, and after last night, I simply loath the place.

When I entered the Cathedral, I knew immediately I had crossed over into some kind of alternative reality. Solitary worshippers, whose faces were illuminated by the sacred glow of LED screens with blazing apple logos on them, were scattered across the interior. They were dutifully draped in their sacred N95 nose diapers, pulling them delicately to the side to sip their overpriced sacramental bean juice, apparently unaware that they were transferring millions of viruses and bacteria to their diapers every time they did so.

Every stick of furniture in the place was scaled for kindergarteners. Tiny round tables with exactly two overstuffed chairs barely 30cm off the floor were sprinkled in a precisely measured grid throughout the interior.

The one exception was a line of five tables, each approximately 150cm long by 60cm wide (2 feet by 5 feet). They were lined up end-to-end, and between each table, there was a "screen" of two pieces of wood paneling 50cm tall and 30cm wide, with a rather large gap in the middle. These ridiculous appliances obviously wouldn't stop a stiff breeze, much less an invading cloud of Fauci Flu viruses, and were clearly intended to give the illusion of "safety," rather than any science-based protection.

I made a mental note to offer sacrifice to the wood sprites in thanks for the trees that were slaughtered for this farcical display.

Though each table could easily seat 6, the four corner positions were marked with stickers that read, "Starbuck's Cares," with a big red X on them. I suppose this was meant to say that only two people could use each table, and only if they are seated directly across from each other. I supposed that this arrangement made it easier to spray each other in the face with mucus and saliva. Must be some of that new-fangled Science.

I was meeting four other people, so I imagined we'd all have to do Zoom across three tables.

A chill ran up my spine, like icy ghost fingers telling me to run from this place lest the insanity be contagious. I mustered my courage, and seeing that the folks I was to meet had not yet arrived, I moved cautiously to the counter to order.

A somber young man took a defensive position on the other side of the counter, apparently perplexed by the mosquito netting draped across my nose and mouth.

"Would you like to order," he inquired.

I ordered a cup of coffee. He stood still for a moment, as if I had just spoken in Aleut.

"Regular or grande," he asked, indicating the amount of sacramental free-trade bean juice I desired..

"Large," I replied.

"What kind of coffee," he asked, swinging his head to indicate the menu board across the back wall.

"Hot, black, caffeinated," I said, helpfully.

"Americano," he prompted.

"No, I'm from Texas," I said.

I could literally hear the gears in his head grinding, throwing sparks and metal shavings across the interior of his skull.

"Sorry, I mean do you want Americano coffee," he said after a short pause.

"Oh, uh, sure, whatever."

"Name?"

"Americano," I replied plaintively, indicating the choice on the menu.

"No, I mean your name."

"Ah, Bernard."

He scribbled across the cup and slid it down to the young woman making the actual coffee, then turned to ring up my purchase.

"That will be 50 thousand," he announced. I couldn't tell if he was smiling or grimmacing, since half his face was hidden behind a piece of paper. I thought it was rather nice that they had priced the coffee so that, with the obligatory VAT added, it came out to a nice round number that perfectly matched the exact denomination of one of the bank notes in circulation.

I fished a 50-thousand rupiah note from my pocket and offered to the increasingly vexed "barrista". He recoiled slightly, as if I had just held out a steaming pile of fresh horse shit to him.

"We cannot take cash," he said, acting as if a piece of plutonium were eating a hole in the palm of my hand.

"I'm sorry?" It was my turn to be perplexed.

"It's unsanitary and we are not allowed to accept it," he explained, as if to a Martian just in from Tharsis Mons. "We accept credit and debit cards," he offered helpfully.

"Aren't credit cards dirty too," I asked scientifically. The blank stare told me logic and rationality weren't going very far here. "Is there another way to pay? I don't want to use a credit card for 50 thousand."

"You can use your Starbuck's card," he looked more relxed, as if dropping into a familiar script. "The card is free!"

"Great, let me have one of those, then."

He fished under the counter and presented me with a piece of plastic emblazoned with magical logo symbols and graphic designs, clearly indicating that it would remain sterile no matter how much I used it, or where I kept it when not in use.

"How do I top up the card?"

"Oh, we can do that right here," he seemed almost gleeful at being able to remain on script.

"Great, I'd like to put 50 thousand on it," I said.

"Sure!" He inserted the card into some kind of magical device, entered the amount on a key pad, then took my 50-thousand note in exchange and handed the card to me.

I felt as if I had stumbled into a street theatre production of some obscure Kafka or Ionesco opus.

I handed the cared back to him and he dutifully deducted my purchase. He handed the card back to me, with a second 30cm-long receipt (one for the top-up, one for the purchase), and graciously indicated the end of the counter, saying I could retrieve my coffee there.

I pocketed the plastic card and several trees' worth of printed paper, and slid along the counter to retreive my plastic cup of coffee with a plastic lid and a paper straw (to reduce plastic waste, of course).

I turned triumphantly to the interior to hunt down a sufficient supply of hermetically-sealed seating to accommodate my party.

My breast swelled with pride as I pondered the sheer volume of virtue I had signaled with that one transaction. I was confident that when I stand before St. Greta at the Eco-Friendly Gates, I would have at least one Plenary Indulgence to trade for a Cosmic Carbon Credit.

Beaming with self-righteousness, I stabbed the paper straw at the opening on the plastic lid, and it crumpled like a sand castle in a rising tide.

I sighed and set the useless wad of paper aside, removed the single-use plastic lid, savoring the free-trade aroma of bean juice and thought, "Oh, what a good boy am I."

============================================

Want to support our efforts without a bunch of corporate "guidelines" in the way? It was a commentary on the zeitgeist of its time, using the Salem witch hunts to highlight the hysteria of the McCarthy era.

The play showed a group of Puritan girls who used fear of the supernatural to get revenge on someone they didn't like. The hysteria grew, people were hung and shunned, and it reached the point that anyone who questioned the insanity was immediately suspect of being a part of the Coven.

Seventy years later, the play is apropos once again, only this time, it's not witches or Commies, it's a virus. Furthermore, it's no longer a community or a nation, it's a global phenomenon that defies rationality and requires nothing more than the pronunciations of a handful of "experts" to feed it.

Like supernatural scriers or self-appointed patriots, we now have scientists in the role of the clergy, waving their sheepskins at us while breathless copyreaders tell us what amazing experts the lab-coated priests are.

But let's you and I engage in a little critical thinking. I know, I know...it's very out of fashion these days, but maybe - just maybe - if you and I think clearly, it'll rub off on the hypnotized masses and bring a little sanity back to the world..

Immune Response

It is necessary to clarify terms, since the Geezer Media seem incapable of doing any research and happily confuse terms to keep us all baffled by their bullshit. The term SARS-COV-2 is the name of a "new" or "novel" virus in the Corona family. COVID-19 is the term applied to a set of symptoms attributed to the SARS-COV-2 virus.

It is also important to note that viruses do not cause disease. This is a common and possibly dangerous misconception. Like allergies, one person may be completely devastated by ragweed pollen, but another could snort a rail of the stuff like Peruvian Marching Powder and have no ill effects. In fact, most people have thousands of viruses in their bodies at any given time, and they are generally benign and occasionally even beneficial.

Like allergies, folks who are susceptible to certain viruses have malfunctioning or overenthusiastic immune systems whose "off" switches are defective. The immune system releases the usual responses to foreign particles, but the release keeps going and causing harmful effects.

All of this immune activity is primarily regulated by T-cells. T-cells are like traffic cops who show up to accidents, clear away crowds, assess the situation, and call the ambulance, tow trucks - or the coroner. When the mess is cleaned up, they write up the report, which forms the basis for insurance pay-outs and statistical analysis for decades to come. This is where vaccines come in, but we'll get to that shortly.

One type of immune response that many of us are familiar with is histamines. Histamines get released, causing the mucus membranes to pump out fluid, but the chemical that stops the process fails and we get upper respiratory issues like stuffy noses, coughs, ichy eyes, etc. In the same way, cytokines get released, causing certain tissues to swell up, but the "off" switch doesn't get triggered, and thus the cytokine storm. Swelling from cytokines restricts the flow of lumph, blood and oxygen, and when out of control causes a myriad of issues on its own.

Although the immune system is obviously far more complex than this brief simplification, if any part of the system fails or goes off the rails, we get sick. The virus didn't "cause" that, the body's response did, and the body's response is regulated with vitamins, minerals and various drugs like antihistamines.

Vitamins and minerals are an essential part of every good breakfast for a reason. They are the building blocks of all the other systems. Imagine having a fleet of first responders, but no fuel, poor maintenance, or a crew of EMTs who are all on annual leave at the same time. If you are deficient in any of the key chemicals, then your immune system won't create enough of a vital response - including on-off switches - and you get sick.

Extraordinary Coinciedences

There are hundreds of thousands of types of viruses, and new ones are being discovered all the time. Of that literal zoo of viruses, there are hundreds of distinct kinds of corona viruses, which are among the largest by size known. Of those hundreds of types, only seven are known to relate to diseases in humans and they all cause more or less the same thing: the Common Cold.

Viruses tend to cause problems with specific species of animals. Horse viruses rarely infect cats. Plant viruses rarely infect bacteria. Bat viruses are not known to cause immune responses in humans...until now. Each type of virus has a set of keys that only start the immune response in certain species. They don't normally pick up a new set of keys, or so it has been since life began.

In recent years, the lab-coated meddlers have been monkeying around with viruses. Some of it is pure curiosity, but most of it is geared towards military applications. Though widely banned and frowned upon, the usual suspects continue to mix and match viral keys and genetic material to find a way to make the enemy sick while having a magic potion to keep their own troops healthy. A poison is no good if you don't have an antidote for yourself.

One of the labs that likes to play god with viruses is called the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), in southern China. WIV was working with the National Institute of Health (NIH), run by one Anthony Fauci, as well as several major universities in the US, and received significant funding and technolgy to pursue certain virus research that Americans didn't want done in their back yard.

On October 18, 2019, in New York City, the Center for Health Security (CFHS), of Johns Hopkins University, along with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and (of course) the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation brought a bunch of folks from different disciplines together to game out a global virus pandemic, called Event 201, including various responses, consequences and opportunities such a scenario provided.

That exact same day, October 18, 2019, the 2019 Military World Games (MWG), a kind of olympics for traned killers, were held in Wuhan. There were more than 10,000 participants from over 100 countries, and it was the largest such event ever held, and the first held in China.

By extraordinary coincidence, the first confirmed case of COVID-19 occurred in Wuhan, China, precisely one month to the day after the Event 201 meeting in New York and the Military World Games in Wuhan. The new COVID-19 disease was finally reported to the World Health Organization on December 31, 2019, and by January 17, 2020, cases were reported in Washington state and other locations around the world. It was just three months - to the day - from Event 201 and the MWG in Wuhan, where the WIV is located, to global awareness of a "new" disease. The global shut downs and quarantines began the following month and continue now a year later, almost to the letter following the Event 201 playbook, which itself seems to invoke many of the stipulations of the Green New Deal and Agenda 21, along with the WEF's Great Reset.

Extraordinary.

SARS-COV-19 Virus

Corona viruses prefer the mucus membranes in humans, which include the sinuses, mouth, throat, and lungs - though seemingly avoid the intestinal tract, presumably because stomach acid dissolves them. When the body detects any of these seven types of human corona virus, it reacts by pumping out mucus and swelling those tissues (histamines and cytokines), while raise the ambient temperature in an effort to both flush and cook the viruses into submission.

For the most part, we encounter these viruses all the time, and they are flushed with a sneeze or a cough. Occasionally, the sheer number of virus particles overwhelm the usual reflexes, referred to as viral loading, and burrow into the flesh, causing the body to react with what is essentially an allergic response. Cytokines flood the body's systems, causing wide-spread swelling and release of T-cells. The T-cells reconnoiter the situation and signal back-up based on perceived threat. The result is what we affectionately call the Common Cold. This is precisely the same chain of events that we call allergies, the only difference being the cause. Either way, we feel like shit and call in sick.

One big problem with this response is that raising the temperature and swelling the tissues provides a nice warm, wet environment for bacteria, which are the real culprits in terms of deaths from COVID019. The bacteria are aided and abetted by the fact that the body is busy focusing on the viruses and forgets to attack the bacteria. We call this an "opportunistic infection". Parasites, which are also ubiquitous like bacteria and viruses, also get a free ride while the body is otherwise distracted..

None of this is possible if sufficient amounts of certain vitamins and minerals are present, but we'll get to that in a bit.

According to reports that have tried to measure the overall diameter of the SARS-COV-2 virus, the results vary from 50nm to 140nm. It is listed as an mRNA positive virus, meaning it has a single strand of nucleotides, rather than the double-stranded helix of DNA. The virus' genome contains slightly less than 30,000 nucleotides, which it pastes into the host cell DNA to turn the cell into a factory making the various proteins that make up the virus' envelope, as well as generating more of the mRNA strands to stuff in the envelopes. Viruses are not "alive," so they cannot reproduce themselves. They high-jack resources in our cells to do the work for them.

What makes the SARS-COV-2 virus particularly unique is it seems to have the ability to mutate rapidly, and to jump species with relative ease. These are not skills found in "normal" viruses.

The SARS-COV-2 virus shares about 97% of its genome with the RaTG13 virus found in a particular species of bat in remote western China. SARS-COV-2 also demonstrates a remarkable ability to mutate quickly and form variants faster than the body can adjust, or corporations can produce "vaccines". The usual Common Cold viruses have always jumbled up their protein envelopes, making it almost impossible to generate immunity or to create an effective vaccine, but this new variety puts this skill into hyper-drive.

There is some speculation that SARS-COV-2 may be jumping back and forth between domestic animals and humans, with symptoms in all species. If true, this would be the first recorded incident of this type of transmission.

Any given type of virus might be expected to mutate >1% over millennia or longer, but for the SARS-COV-2 virus to mutate 3%, and pick up several new skills almost overnight implies something - or someone - mucking about with the mRNA strand. Some folks believe patented genetic segments owned by Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx could provide these new skills if pasted into the bat virus.

PCR Tests

One of the most ubiquitous symbols of the COVID-19 pandemic is the Rapid Polymerase Chain Reaction Test, or rPCR test in common parlance. It is also the least understood part of the show, which can be both dangerous and expensive.

The PCR test is not a diagnostic tool. It doesn't know or care whether the bits of RNA and DNA it picks up belong to viruses or dinosaurs. It's sole purpose is to detect genetic material and make as many copies of it as you need, depending on the number of cycles you set it to run. For this reason, PCR tests are commonly used in laboratories to create quantities of genetic samples sufficient for other tests. It is an amplifier and nothing else.

One common use of PCR tests is for crime scene forensics. A detective swabs a piece of evidence, then runs the sample through the PCR kit, thus creating sufficient genetic material for DNA tests and analyses. The PCR does not generate any results by itself. It simply creates enough of a sample for use in other tests.

The size of the sample a PCR generates depends on the number of cycles it is set to run. A major issue with this is that the higher the cycles, the more errors it generates. Previously, the WHO recommended 45 cycles when testing for SARS-COV-2, but this results in an error rate over 90%. It literally makes a handful of RNA nucleotides (out of 30,000) appear as if the subject is shedding viruses like pecan tree pollen, even if the person doesn't have a single complete virus in their body. WHO recently recommended reducing the cycle rate to 35, and global "case" rates began falling precipitously.

Not only are PCR tests useless for diagnosing SARS-COV-2 infections, used incorrectly, as they generally are, they produce false positives that could lead to people being isolated and treated for something they don't have. This practice must be adjusted or ended soon, before more people are hurt by it.

Masks

Let's get the obvious out of the way - you could hold your hand over your nose and mouth and achieve the same degree of safety as wearing a mask.

The best way to prove to yourself that a mask is useless is burn a piece of paper or strike a match. If you can smell the smoke, your mask is useless again viruses. Molecules we perceive as odors are absolutely gargantuan compared to any given virus. If you can smell an odor with a mask on, then you are essentially trying to block a SmartCar while letting a freight train slide past.

Gaseous Oxygen has a molecular diameter of 120 picometers, and gaseous Carbon Dioxide, at 232 picometers, should pass through an N95 mask without much effort. One picometer equals 0.001 nanometer. Remember this as we plow forth. Also remember that masks do not discriminate between incoming and outgoing, so anything you breathe out is just as likely to be trapped as anything coming in. Thus, if you already have a virus, the mask will concentrate it at your nose and mouth, and will virtually guarantee your virus load exceeds common sense.

Surgical masks were designed to keep the surgeon's skin flakes, boogers, snot, and drool from dropping into a patient's gaping wound. Combined with hair nets, gloves and vigorous hand-washing, the practice lowered surgical infections dramatically; however, they do little or nothing out here in the real world.

If you work with drywall, or a lot of wood dust, or live in Beijing, a mask may stop a good amount of particulates from entering your sinuses, mouth, throat and lungs. Outside of those specific conditions, they are pretty much useless.

N95 masks are said to filter out 95% of particles less than 300nm, but this rating assumes a perfect seal around the nose and mouth, and does not have anything to do with protecting the eyes. Furthermore, masks are only effective when one does not pinch, pull or adjust them with contaminated hands, which most people do on a regular basis throughout the day. For instance, if you yawn, cough or sneeze, the mask will generally slide off the nose and/or chin, allowing virus particles in through gaps, and then more when you readjust the mask. Even in a perfect situation, an N95 mask will still allow 5% or more virus particles to pass.

People who die from SARS-COV-2 do not die from anything the virus does. The generally die from bacterial pneumonia. The bacteria take advantage of a weakened immune system and the body's responses to the virus,c causing the lung lining to swell and release copious amounts of mucus, thus "drowning" the patient in their own juices.

The most common cause of baterial pneumonia is the pneumococcus bacterium, a gram-positive critter ranging in size from 0.5 micrometers to 1.25 micrometers. One micrometer equals 1,000 nanometers, so N95 masks that block most anything larger than 300 nanometers actually horde these bacteria directly in front of your nose and mouth, almost guaranteeing that you will succumb to bacterial disease long before the COVID-19 gets you.

Vaccines, Therapies & Prevention

Let's begin with vaccines. The medical definition of a vaccine is the injection of dead or inactive viruses to stimulate a reaction by the immunie system to provide immunity to the recipient.

The legal definition of vaccine is more or less the same as the medical one, but it makes little difference, since vaccine manufacturers are broadly protected from product liability, either by actual law or contractual separation as a condition of any sales.

While the Russian Sputnik V and the Chinese CoronaVac are supposedly real vaccines, the Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca jabs are not. The latter are in fact a form of gene therapy that uses virus protein envelopes to invade cells and deliver RNA "edits" for your DNA. The edits supposedly force your cells to mimic the effects of the virus, which in turn keeps your immune system on hyperalert - presumably forever if you continue to get jabs in the future. Essentially, they are setting the recipient up for severe allergies, though no one is really sure what will set them off.

To be fully informed of what the gene therapy "vaccines" are really doing, you really need to listen to this interview with Dr. Sherri Tenpenny.

Frankly, the average person has no way to assess whether any vaccine functions as described, nor do we have any assurance that the vaccines do more good than harm. As the saying goes, a patient never dies in surgery, always in recovery. Information on side-effects is sketchy and in any case, the manufacturers are given virtual immunity from product liability.

Furthermore, most of us don't have the tools to analyze the compositions and functions of vaccines, and the methods and contents are generally proprietary and not published. Thus, we have no way to prove what we are told about the vaccines, and no way to hold manufacturers liable for anything that goes wrong. The same is true for any of the drugs now coming to market as therapies.

In other words, we just have to take their word for it.

Gene editing using viral vectors has been around for some time. In the early 1990s, I was involved with documenting tests of this technology for use in cancer treatment.
Virus protein envelopes containing an "updated" p53 wild gene were injected into cancer tumors in an effort to "turn off" the mutated gene and shut down cancer cells. There was some immediate success, but unfortunately, my grant ran out before I could document long-term results, so I cannot say what the outcome was. The linked paper is co-authored by two of the doctors I worked with.

I mention the foregoing because that is precisely the technology being used in many of the so-called SARS-COV-2 "vaccines". I find this particularly alarming because the folks I talk to that have received or want to receive those jabs are completely uninformed and unaware of what they are getting. This is a gross violation of the Nuremberg Protocols, and given the manufacturers' immunity from liability, millions of people are exposing themselves to great risk without being properly informed of what they are doing.

As far as therapies go, Remdesivir is the one most heralded by the Geezer Media and WHO types. It comes with a steep price tag and questionable efficacy. Given that it is freshly patented, it only has one manufacturer and is likely generating a decent profit.

There are, in fact, many antiviral drugs on the market, designed to work against a range of viruses like herpes, influenza and others. They are all rather expensive and come with a number of provisos and exceptions.

There are two legacy drugs that have been shown to be quite effective, but are no longer patented and are quite cheap and widely available (or at least were before efforts to hide them and price them out of the market). Both have been around for the better part of a century and have a wide range of uses, including antiviral.

Quinine, like acetylsalicylic acid, is one of the oldest therapeutic drugs known to humans. Derived from cinchona trees in Peru, it works by chemically eating holes in viruses, bacteria and parasites. The holes facilitate zinc and the body's defenses inside the critters to kill them. Modern compounds like chloroquine (CQ) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) reduce the unpleasant side effects of pure quinine, while maintaining its efficacy. A 2009 study by the National Institute of Health (NIH), run by Anthony Fauci at the time, found that CQ is highly effective in treating corona viruses.

Ivermectin was discovered in 1975, and has since become on the go-to drugs for all things parasitic. You can rub it on your skin for lice and scabies, or swallow it for worms, amoeba and other nasty critters. It is used for both humans and domestic animals and the WHO says it is an indispensable addition to your medicine cabinet. Dr. Pierre Kory testified before a US Senate hearing that ivermectin has almost miraculous effect on COVID-19, as both a treatment and a preventative.

In Indonesia, the price of the drug has shot up in the last year, from $2/10 pills, to $20/10 pills. HCQ was about $5/10 caps, but was summarily confiscated by officialdom and is now impossible to find.

Regardless of all other considerations, it pays to keep your immune system in peak condition. Vaccines supposedly work by exposing the body to weakened viruses to stimulate the immune response. One can achieve the same effect by constant low-level exposure to pathogens in daily life. Attempting to avoid exposure reduces the number and amounts or pathogens we regularly ingest, thus the immune system does not maintain a level of antigens and makes us vulnerable when we encounter a heavy load of them.

Equally as important is maintaining a healthy supply of the materials the body needs to fight off infections. These vitamins and minerals are used by the body in thousands of different processes that aid immunity, digestion, cell division, and a whole host of other physical and chemical reactions.

The most important for building and regulating the immune system are B6, C and D3. There are common and relatively cheap supplements for all three. Of the metals iron, zinc, calcium, potassium, and magnesium are essential, and supplements are also easy to find.

For my own regimen, I place a tablet of B6 under my tongue when I feel a cytokine storm coming on (sinus congestion, low-grade fever, dry cough). It works in about 30 minutes. I have taken 5 grams to 6 grams per day of Vitamin C for many years. I get at least one hour of direct sunlight every day and supplement my D3 with 5,000 IU/day. I take 20mg of zinc twice a week, using the soluble tablets so I can hold some under my tongue for a minute or two. My diet provides plenty of iron, calcium and magnesium, but if I start to get mucle cramps, I supplement with magnesium and they go away in a day or so. Being of Irish descent, I have to limit my iron and calcium because my body stores it quite well. You should research this for your own body type. As for potassium, I eat a lot of bananas.

I don't remember the last time I had the flu, and if I do get a cold, it is usually over in less than a day. I also have no allergies that I know of, and after 60 years, I imagine I would have found some by now. I also don't get bacterial or parasitic infections, though i am susceptible to fungal infections. Still working on that one.

Miscellany

When this whole mess started, my wife and I went immediately to DefCon5. If we had to go out, we undressed on the porch, put the clothes in a bag and washed them immediately. There was little information and the Geezer Media made it sound like we were heading for Contagion or The Omega Man. I know a lot more now, and I am not afraid of the virus. It looks to me like everything the 'experts" recommend is the exact opposite of what clear-thinking people should do.

Just like Dr. Mom always said, get plenty of sunshine and fresh air, and eat a healthy diet.

It's always interesting, at least to me, to examine the origins of words. They tell us a lot about the deeper meanings and intentions of the terms we use everyday in casual and unthinking ways. One prime example is looking up the deeper meaning of the word government, but I digress.

The word corona comes from Latin meaning "crown". We often encounter this word when referring to the brilliant edges of the Sun, or the arteries that lay across the heart. In the case of the SARS-COV-2 virus, it refers to the shapes of the proteins that stick out from the virus' envelope. They appear to form a crown around this or any of the thousands of types of corona viruses.

The word virus is quite strange. It is a Latin word that means "poisonous substance". In essence, corona virus means "poisonous crown". I can't help but make all kinds of associations with this thought. One could think of it as the signature of the party that unleashed it upon the world.

What I find truly intriguing were all the articles comparing the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aries (still on-going and now with Venus too) to the Christmas Star, a phenomenon noted in the Gospels as signalling the birth of a Great King. Talmudists will certainly recognize this configuration, and it makes one wonder if the "poisonous crown" is a symbolic gesture for the coming of the new Great King.

Conclusions

As we have seen, the entire COVID-19 pandemic is a complete and horrific hoax. There is no real danger from the virus if your are reasonably healthy and maintain good levels of vitamins and minerals.

The symbolism of a "poisonous crown" coming along as a particular set of astrological events occur signifying the birth of a Great King is a very strange set of coincidences. Regardless of whether you or I believe in that nonsense, there are certainly a group of self-appointed elites who do.

It seems pretty apparent that the SARS-COV-2 was modified or created in the WIV, and was part of a coordinated effort to institute an agenda by scaring the piss out of the entire world. In New York, a group of meddling "experts" from different fields planned the "pandemic" and global shut-down, while in Wuhan, the virus was unleashed during the MWG, and allowed to spread as much as possible before the WHO was "notified" of possible cases. There are far too many convenient coincidences for this mess to be accidental, much less natural.

Regardless of whether the "vaccines" currently proffered actually work in the short term, no one can tell you with any certainly what the long-term outcomes will be. Most are not vaccines as we have come to know them, but are gene therapy terhnologies that are stil in their infancy. Traditional vaccines have an 80-year highly questionable reputation, but the new tech has no such multi-generational record.

Masks are so useless as to be less effective than painting a barrier on your face. They are theater. They are props in a vast cynical farce designed to make you think you are safe, without actually doing anything to BE safe. They have never read more than the first paragraph of the Constitution, civics classes have been replaced with condom-rolling lessons, and at every turn, the media and politicians pound minsinformation into their heads - not that those idiots have any better clue.

Let's take a moment to imagine what the United States would be like today if it was still the united States.

There is no nation called the United States, and no such citizen as a US citizen. There are 50 semi-autonomous nations who have delegated certain functions to a central body to share the cost of defense and military command, regulate interstate traffic of goods and ensure people could travel freely among the States, and formulate foreign policy for the mutual benefit of all the States, and most of all to mint a single currency for use in all the States with equal weights and measures to facilitate commerce.

There is no such thing as a US passport and no individual is subject to federal law. In fact, the only internal power the federal government has over the States is to adjudicate disputes between themn and issue a tax bill every year to fund the federal budget.

The tax bill is apportioned to each State according to its representation in the federal government (population). The States then determine the means by which they will collect the taxes and pay the bill - be it sales tax, per capita tax, lottery, or some other means. The feds have no control over the internal workings of the States, except to protect the rights of individuals from usurpation by the State. The only other tax the federal body could collect is tariffs on imports and exports.

The decadal census determines how many people live in each State, a number of Representatives is approtioned to the State, then the State divides its population up into equal units, called Districts. Each District elects their Representative to the federal House.

The people also elect their own Legislatures, who in turn choose the two Senators that each State has. In this way, the people hold the Legislators accountable, who in turn hold the Senators accountable, who in turn approve of every major action taken by the Executive branch, including appointments and treaties, to ensure the Executive is held directly accountable to the interests of the States.

Other than border patrol and customs, and federal district courts (one district for each Supreme Court justice), there are no federal agencies allowed to operate within the sovereign territory of the States. The federal government cannot own land, there are no national parks, there are no territories or protectorates (Virgin Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, etc.), and in fact the only possession of the feds is 100-square mile plot of swamp land called the District of Columbia, which essentially means it is held in commonwealth for the States.

There is no Department of Homeland Security, no FEMA, no FBI, no Parks and Wildlife, no Health and Human Serices, no Department of Education, no NASA, no National Endowment for the Arts. The Cabinet could publish advisories on Best Practices for the States, but they could not enforce anything.

The only laws that affect individuals are passed by the States for their own citizens and according to their unique cultures and situations. This keeps the process and enforcement of laws close to the people who must follow them, because people who live in Connecticut have different sensibilities and living conditions than those in New Mexico.

Folks living in the State have almost no interaction with the federal government other than the gold and silver coins they use in commerce. There is no national bank. For those who prefer, the State banks print paper certificates equal to the amount of gold and silver in the State banks, so people can carry and use paper notes in their daily affairs, rather than heavy coins.

Most folks who travel State to State will cash in their notes before leaving the State, unless the State has a transfer agreement with other States, which most do, since the weight and measure of the coins is regulated by the federal treasury and is the same in all States by Constitutional requirement.

Imagine a world where anonymous jack asses living high on the horse while digging in your pocket don't exist, where your representative lives down the street from you, where hordes of uniformed thugs have no power over you. Imagine a world where they were treated and acted like servants to sovereign individuals who lived on the land, not citizens. Imagine a world where your money had had the same value for 6,000 years and couldn't be inflated because they couldn't manufacture it out of thin air.

Image a world where there was only one legal system for everyone, great or small.

That's what the united States were supposed to be.

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-64674586102759734692021-02-24T07:37:00.001+07:002021-02-24T07:42:13.512+07:00Eyes Rolling Hard

The only thing more insane than a right-wing conspiracy theory is a left-wing conspiracy theory.

A right-wing conspiracy theory (RWCT) is at least based on people doing research, examining history, seeking evidence and trying to draw conclusions from seemingly random and disparate events. Left-wing conspiracy theories (LWCT), on the other hand, "me too" emotional reaction to things they don't understand and refuse to learn about.

For example, an RWCT might posit that an obscure CIA memo in 1957, led to the Joint Chiefs taking such-and-such an action, which created thus and such agency that fomented the Capitol riots in 2021. No problem. I can look up the documents, read the transcripts, check the salient facts and allegations, and come to my own decision.

An LWCT sees no historical connection to anything, other than it is all evil Patriarchy, offers no documentation other than an article in the sacred New York Times, tells the reader how to feel about it all, assigned some random highly-edited facts, then demands that you believe it without any critical thinking, because the person espousing the theory is the only credible source for the information.

I've been quiet here for some time because I honestly can't separate the wheat from the chaff. Firsst, we have to determine what is pure lie, what is part lie and what is true (not Truth, mind you). Then we have to assemble the pieces like a giant jig-saw puzzle and see if we can make out a coherent image. Then we apply the Laws of Thermodynamics to discern cause and effect. If we begin to see a Big Picture, then we assume that we are on the right path, while at the same time trying to digest the profound implications of that Big Picture.

It's all very complicated and it is so easy to get bogged down in the minutiae. To visualize the situation, we can think of it as a giant jig-saw puzzle, where ever piece is itself a separate jig-saw puzzle. In other words, it's a fractal puzzle. Fractals are usually mind-boggling to look at, but they are often very simple formulae and once you grasp the correct key, the lock bends to your will.

Nature abhors centralized power. When we look out into her bowels, we see not one planet, but quadrillions; not one star, but trillions; not one galazy, but billions. Nature has scattered her power over unimaginable time and distance. Taking over an entire planet or solar system would hardly rate as an footnote in Nature's Handbook of History.

Bringing this grand vision down to a human scale, there has been a millennia-mong effort to centralize the worldly powers under one fist. The Sumerians, Babylonians, Akkadians, Mongols, Mandarins, Greeks, Romans, Maya, Aztec, and hundreds more all tried to conquer their worlds. They rose to incredible power and complexity, and then in a flash, they vanished.

I trace the current effort at empire to a single Papal Bull issued by Boniface VIII, called Unam Sanctam, published in 1302. Essentially, the Roman Church laid claim to the entire Earth and all creature in, on and over it, in trust for the return on the Christ to claim His worldly kingdom. This one document launched the Age of Exploration. Expeditions were funded and sent to the ends of the Earth to map the Church's domain, quantify it's flora and fauna, and plant flags in anything that would sit still long enough to get a painting of it.

Oh, and pick up any gold and silver lying around to fund more of it, while you're at it.

This worked pretty well for a couple of centuries, based partly on the element of surprise (wait, where'd these guys come from?), and partly on superior war technology (wait, is that a metal sword?). But a crucial event happened a little over a century after Bonnie the 8th staked his claim.

In Mainz, Germany, in the early 1400s, a guy named Johann Gensfleisch zur Laden zum Gutenberg had the bright idea to combine a wine press with his inventions of moveable type and oil-based ink, and overnight torn a gaping hole in his world.

That invention led to something called the Age of Enlightenment, which had the audacity to posit individual humans were their own sovereigns and could only be ruled by central authority by their consent to hand over limited powers to others.

This set off a wave of revolutions and independence movements across the entire globe, which peaked in the decade after World War II, but to a certain extent still simmers today. With that, the Holy Roman empire finally died, along with the European royal houses whose power was entirely based on fealty to Roman.

Human nature being what it is, though, the collapse of one empire only creates the desire in some folks to create what they think will be a bigger, better empire that won't make the same mistakes as all the others, and put this group of greedy individuals in charge. And it worked for 80 years or so.

In the wake of World War II, the United States (not the united States) was the only major power left with an intact power structure and currency. Some folks saw this as an opportunity to recreate the world in the Enlightenment Image (nationalist-populist), but some other folks saw the opportunity to milk the world for their personal benefit (socialist-democracy). The two have been battling it out in a low-level war behind the scenes ever since, with the latter having the upper hand with better propaganda.

But something changed.

In the 1960s, the US military created the ARPAnet, an electronic matrix of computers across nearly any physical space, with each terminal having a unique identifiers called an IP address, that allowed the military and their weapons developers to trade information quickly and secretly.

Folks thought this was pretty nifty and by the 1990s, the World Wide Web took root. Suddenly, folks didn't need to access specific libraries with rare books and information, they could point and click and never leave the comfort of their couch/desk/dinner table. If Gutenberg torn a hole in the world, the internet ripped it wide open.

This seemingly innocuous invention has done more to undermine global power structures than any combnation of events in all of human history. There can be no elites when everyone has access to the same information. There can be no centralized power structures when every individual with a terminal is just as powerful as any other.

Prove it? Wikileaks, GameStop, Bitcoin, the hundreds of sites that reproduce high-resolution scans of ancient and obscure documents (such as Unam Sanctam), YouTube, and on and on.

Oh sure, there are major efforts underway to censor various individuals, outlets and information, but information is a slippery thing. The tighter you squeeze it, the more oozes through your fingers. Like trying to block a river, eventually the water will find another way out - over, under or around, and in the end evaporation. The breach in elite control occurred decades ago and there is nothing they can do to stop it.

Except conspiracy theories.

Recent years have seen the weaponizing of conspiracy theories. We have seen the Qult and now the Insurrection, the Jews, the Jesuits, Black Popes and helicopters, Clubs of Rome and 300, Masons, Templars and Nazis. All of these are distrctions. These theories intend to keep folks focued on a single puzzle piece, while attempting to hide all the others.

The problem is, the internet is an insurmountable force. For every bubble of secrecy inflated, there are thousands of pins salivating for the opportunity to pop it. As the self-appointed elite try to build ever more exotic locks, the plebes build ever more sophisticated picks. The demise of the system we have all gown up under is dying, and there is no palliative that can stop it.

The thing about our modern world is that we can pick any random point in time and space, and no matter how far back or forward we go, it is all the same - a fractal. It seems, though, that we have reached a point where the Big Picture is going non-linear. Truly, there is nothing new under the Sun, and as people scramble for answers, they find only different scales of the same problems.

It seems we have reached the end of usefulness for the current paradigm. One of the axioms of critical thinking is that when you come to a dead end in one line of reasoning, you must change your perspective to find solutions.

The centralization of power and the specialization of knowledge in the the current paradigm is the poison pill that has lurked at its heart for centuries, the One Great Secret that no one was supposed to know. But the Secret is out: we have reached the logical end of this line of reasoning. There is no way to put a plaster on the current paradigm and keep it hobbling along like a beater car that has reached the end of its structural integrity.

Whether we want it or not, we are faced with the imperative to change or perish. Like bacteria in a Petri dish, we have mined all the nutrients in our environment and must now change our environment or the colony collapses. The environment is not just a reference to our physical surroundings, but a mental and spiritual realm, as well.

For myself, I leave the closed minds to fight over the bleached bones of yesterday's meal. I choose to find a new and better source on which to dine - preferably one whose bounds are limitless and equally accessible by anyone willing to let go of the dry and nutritionless detritus the old world.

Behold, for I make all things new - Revelation 21:5

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4454265682183119740.post-31598808463763350872021-01-28T17:04:00.002+07:002021-01-28T17:09:07.011+07:00Q Drops The Ball
https://rumble.com/embed/vapr0z/?pub=4

Q hasn't posted since 8 December 2020. Progressives are being shunned by the Democrats, and the Populists are
being shunned by the right. The reason is simple, but the mess commonly
referred to as US politics is a hot mess.

The
Democrats have been under seige by the Progressive left since the 1972
campaign of George McGovern. The left has had an ongoing crush on
Socialism for a long time, but the mass student movement in favor of
McGovern was the first time that segment of the Body Politic had
discovered just how many people supported the ideology and the power
they had to affect the nation.

It could be argued that FDR was the
first Progressive/Socialist president, and it's a strong argument, but
the ideological sentiments of the general public weren't quite there.
The Comunist/Socialist movement began in the 1920s in the US, but FDR
cherry-picked the elements that would draw the widest public support for
his campaign - Social Security, government spending on public works,
price controls, etc.

By the 1972 election, the
Progrssive/Socialist ideology had found a significant voice in the
population at large. They put up a strong challenge, but the entrenched
American right won out and put Nixon in office, but the Progressives
made in-roads in local and state offices and continued to build on it.

In
1976, widespread disgust with Nixon led to a backlash and a squeeker
victory for Jimmy Carter. Carter ws the classic "bleeding heart"
liberal - emotional, sentimental and naive. When he gave away the
Panama Canal, the right was shaken out of their complacency, realizing
that the left had no clue how to run a nation, and placing the nation's
strategic interests in the hands of people who felt sorry for other
nations was a direct line to ruin.

Sure enough, China bought the port concessions at both ends of the canal, but that's a different blog.

The
backlash was palpable. In 1980, Carter was trounced by Ronald Reagan, a
kind of Pro-Freeper, who subscribed to free markets, minimal regulation
and low taxes. It worked. The economy took off, millions made
fortunes, but unchecked greed has its drawbacks.

The entrenched
interests who had taken over the country in 1963, with the death of JFK,
weren't happy. And the Socialist left was getting ansy.

GHW Bush
was granted a term in office to give lip service to the Reaganites,
while the Bush crime family (intricately linked to the JFK
assassination) had time to find a suitable guardian for their
interests. In stepped the Clintons.

Billary - for they cannot be separated, like the Katzenjammer Kids
- were the perfect pair. Bill was the mellow dude about town, while
Hillary was the hardcore McGovernist. Together they played both sides
of the fence. Bill attracted the lassaiz-faire right, while Hillary
appealed to the radical left. They were the transition couple, lulling
the right into complacency, while sliding the Agenda under the RADAR.
Bill did what he was told as long as the trim and bud kept coming, and
Hil injected her vitriol into the Body Politic.

It takes a lot of
effort to stop a pendulum. With Carter, it has swng to the left, and
the momentum carried it all the way to Reagan, so Bush the Elder slowed
it, the Clintons caught the left swing, and Shrub caught the right
swing. Altogether, they slowed the swing of the pendulum towards the
nadir, where absolute destruction lay waiting.

In stepped Obama.
This piece of work was essentially the echo of Billary. He was the
mellow dude about town with a radical bent that would have made McGovern
blush. He almost stayed the pendulum, but there was a growing backlash
in the form of Ross Perot/Ron Paul adherents who believed the Reagan
Revolution had not gone far enough. There was unfinished work, and this
Obama dude was going the wrong way (compare election results for 2008
and 2012).

America was sliding back towards the right when the left put Hillary up for auction. This panicked the right. Rugged Individualism dies hard on the rocks of Socialism.

In
steps Donald Trump. Trump was a hold-over from the Reagan Revolution.
He was a self-made billioniare who was the symbol of 1980s Enlighened
Greed. He was the .Gordon Gekko prototype. He was a marketing genius who had made his own name synonymous with luxury and had created a media empire from scratch.

But if Carter was the naive left, then Trump is ihe naive right.

The
backlash against Trump was immediate, profound and relentless. He was
hounded from the moment he announced his campaign until he left office.
Hillary had been chosen to stop the pendulum, but Trump won, because no
one but Trump had foreseen the vast, silent Populist masses that they
thought they had silenced with Ron Paul, just as the right thought they
had silenced the Progressives with McGovern. Both were wildly wrong.

What
has become glaringly clear in Election 2020, is that there are two
competing ideologies that are diametrically opposed and will not be
silenced - and are no longer willing to be marginalized. The
Estalishment, installed under Wilson, encouraged by FDR, glamorized by
JFK, disheartened by Nixon/McGovern, energized by Reagan, placated by
Clinton/Shrub/Obama have been finally pressed together like opposing
magnetic poles, and they will fly apart against all efforts to confine
them.

We are seeing a Revolutionary Civil War, unlike anything
that has arisen before. One might point to the Soviet Union, but the
left in that case was exhausted and capitulated. In the current case,
there is an entrenched oligarchy that has played two camps against each
other for decades, but have now lost control of both, and everyone
loses.

Trump has likely lost, but a Harris administration - I mean Biden - is a disaster. Think of the brilliant scene in John Carpenter's Dark Star, where a character gets into an existential argument with a bomb. The bomb's entire raison d'etre
is to explode, but because it can't be released from the bomb bay, the
character desperately needs to talk it out of "becoming".

What's
really going on in the US, is that the Establishment have put forth
their preferred puppet, Kamala Harris. They have disguised her as Joe
Biden, who will be removed from office almost as fast as the echoes die
down drom his Oath of Office. Trump is waging a war against a foe he
was ill prepared to handle. In his inflated self-image, he thought he
could negotiate his way out of anything, but he never met a foe such as
the one he faces now. It is a global interlinked cabal of mutally
blackmailed Elitists who are scared to death they are going to be
lamp-posted and their century-long effort to take over the world will be
lost forever.

Talk about motivation.

How can we sum all
this up neatly? Well, America's genetic roots are a bunch of people who
wanted to be left the hell alone. They are pursued by people who have
had and want to continue having control over everything. There are
vast numbers of people on the ;leave me alone' side, and the US
Constitution is in their favor. There is vast wealth and ancient
history in the other corner. They are entrenched and intractible and
have been at war for centuries.

There is a solution for the US,
and it has succeeded elsewhere. What remains is to determine the
resolve of the independents and whther they are married to an
abstraction or reality.

Stay tuned...

Fear is not an option. - Life On The Far Side
Bernard Groverhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09064283143035746420noreply@blogger.com0
