Cross Your Heart, Hope To...

A lot of talk lately about a Cardinal Grand Cross (CGC) in the heavens, with eclipses on either side of the CGC peak.  I don't know that you follow astrology, but even if you don't, you've probably heard something about this particular alignment.

Before we begin, let's define what we are talking about.  It might help to clarify our thinking.  Basically, a CGC means that four planets have taken up positions at each of the celestial cardinal point (0, 90, 180, 270 degrees).  In more concrete terms, Mars is in Libra, Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, and Jupiter in Cancer.  Those four signs are the astrological equivalent of North, South, East, and West, or the Cardinal points.  I see little benefit in going into all the meanings and interpretations of the planets and the signs.  You are welcome to go research all that for yourself.

Suffice it to say that Grand Crosses, and particularly Cardinal Grand Crosses, are generally considered omens of bad things, since the forces represented by the signs and planets oppose each other and cancel out.  Thus, efforts get frustrated, communications run afoul and everything generally gets screwed up.  Put an eclipse on either side of the CGC peak, and well...you get the point.

For most of my life, I've put little or no stock in astrology.  Having been indoctrinated into Socratic Materialism, I scoffed at the ability of balls of rock and gas swirling around in a soup of astrologisms (constellations) to affect anything in or about my life.  Like many people, I figured that most of the clap-trap out there that occasionally aligned with actual events was due in large part to the general and non-committal language of "predictions".

In the past decade or so, I have been migrating to a much more Platonic weltanschauung.  This is due in large part to my studies of hyperdimensional and quantum physics.  It turns out that unseen and non-sensical forces can have profound affect on the thing we commonly call 'reality'.

Here's the way it works:

We all know that what we say and do ripples into the world and causes changes in 'reality'.  Even at the macro scale, we talk about the 'butterfly effect' and similar ideas, where small actions can snowball into large events.

Now imagine the ripple effect, only in the fabric of space-time, or the aether, as they used to call it.  All these massive planets swirling around and spinning is causing more or less constant ripples in the very fabric of the Universe, and the trillions upon trillions of bodies in the Universe are all radiating ripples into the medium.

If you've ever played with sound and liquids, then you know about standing waves.  You can create and 'freeze' patterns in liquids using the vibrations of sound.  The patterns are as unique and intricate as a fingerprint and change according to the frequency of the sound and the type of liquid being vibrated.  The more sources of vibration you have, the more complex the patterns of standing waves.  These patterns can be thought of as templates.

Even in complex and seemingly random events, patterns tend to emerge.  The interactions of isolated random events tend to create unified patterns on a macro scale.  This has been observed even at the micro and quantum scales, as well.

Thus, it makes sense that the background stars tend to form certain patterns that change based on Earth's position in its orbit.  When we are over in Leo's part of the sky, the vibrations will be different than when we are in Scorpio's.  Those background patterns are further influenced by the local planets and how their vibrations resonate with the background sky.  One can imagine a sort of 'standard' template generated by cosmic vibrations, with various perturbations caused by local phenomena.  In effect, we live in an ever-changing soup of vibrational templates, but even in the choas, patterns emerge.

When folks like Richard Hoagland or Joseph Farrell talk about hyperdimensional physics and astrology being a degraded remnant of ancient advanced science, one can start to appreciate a much more interesting and interconnected Universe than the mainstream Newtonian vacuum called "space".

In this way, though I shy away from the New-Agey rubbish, I can appreciate a scientific basis for the theory that the positions and interactions of the Universe around us can manifest in various ways in our 'reality'.  Perhaps it's a general disposition to certain emotions, or that complex mass human interactions can start to form patterns in the chaotic soup we call life.  Over vast amounts of time, with meticulous record-keeping, we might even be able to catalog a predisposition for certain events to occur around certain alignments.  It is even conceivable that these predispositions have been cataloged over millions of years, if the alternative historians are correct.  And potentially, there are secret societies that preserve those ancient catalogs, which have been corrupted in our 'outsider' society to become astrology.

So, all that being said, suppose a group of secret society members had knowledge that global financial, political and social upheavals occured around Cardinal Grand Crosses.  Suppose they then manipulated things in order to take advantage of the chaos and profit.  Further suppose that to make their plan work, the majority of humanity had to be in a state of fear and/or suffering.  Would proof of that knowledge and effort look like today's headlines?

One ray of hope is that, as mentioned before, certain alignments only set up a predisposition towards certain mass actions and reactions.  This implies the corelary that certain mass actions can reverse and even benefit from what some would call 'negative' alignments.  Indeed, we find in astrology that Cardinal Grand Crosses can be very negative events...unless we as a group approach this time with a positive attitude and a willingness to be introspective.  In the latter case, a CGC can be a time of great advancement in spiritual and physical well-being.

In this scenario, the forces that try to control humanity and feed on it would be setting up a season of fear through war and financial collapse, in order to profit from their secret knowledge of ancient science.  However, we humans can counter their efforts and even thrive and defeat the bastards by maintaining positive attitudes, not buying into the fear-mongering, and looking within ourselves for our inner strengths.

Even if all this is complete rubbish, can it hurt to try a little kindness and meditation?  Who knows?  It might even work without astrological alignments.

If the astrological certainty around CGCs is massive change on both the individual and mass social levels, and that the event is neither inherently good nor bad, then it is all a matter of frame of mind to steer the outcome.  From our scientific, though Platonic point of view, positive vibrations added to the standing waves/template created by the CGC would create a mass disposition towards good for all, whereas fear vibrations would dispose the world to destruction and slavery.

All the more reason to turn off the TeeVee.

Appeal To Authority Is A Fallacy

A pyramid in Java?
One of the main things wrong with our current society is that our educational system is completely defunct.  Academia exists solely and completely to protect us from knowledge, rather than to expand it.  Piles of stogy professors lie around like so much dry kindling who have spent their lives and careers building fairy tales on which their tenure and grants depend, and they are completely unwilling to entertain any fact that challenges their cushy positions.

Take, for instance, the submerged cities off of India, Japan and Cuba.  Those stuffy professors all sit around humphing and harumphing in agreement that the last Ice Age ended about 20,000 years ago causing the oceans to rise several hundred feet.  However, discover a couple of very advanced societies lying at the bottom of the ocean that date to about that period and suddenly they are indignant and even terrified.

The problem is that humans are not supposed to have been more advanced than bone chewers and root diggers at that time.  The professors have developed elaborate fairy tales of how civilization evolved and no fact, not even those literally etched in stone, are allowed to upset their harumphing.

In 2000, a group of ocean surveyors discovered a massive city built with advanced techniques.  This alone wouldn't be so bad, but it sits more than 100 feet below the waves, meaning it must be around 20,000 years old.

Gobekli Tepi in Turkey is provably 12,000 years old using all the tools that those stultifying professors swear by, yet they refuse to accept the plain evidence that ancient Man had the ability to create fine stone carvings on massive stones that were mined and hauled dozens of miles to their current location.  On top of that, the whole complex was purposefully buried 2,000 years after it was created.

Now, right here in West Java, a geologist has declared that a hill called Gunung Padang is not only man-made, but that it dates to between 9,000 and 20,000 years ago.  Had the findings fit with the harumphing fairy tales, then a geologist's data would have been defended with the strongest of arguments.  But since it virtually destroys all the underpinnings of the fairy tales, then academia is screaming that a geologist can't possibly know what he's doing...that's archeology work!  Of course, no one mentions that the hill was discovered to be artificial in 1916, and that not a single 'archeologist' bothered to study it.

Then there's Schock and West pointing out that the weathering around the Sphinx enclosure can only be from water and that it's been 10,000 years since that was possible in Gaza.

Then there's Bauval pointing out that the three great pyramids and the Sphinx and the Nile combine to make an exact model of the night sky...as it was 10,000 years ago.

The submerged city near CubaArchologies along the Bimini RoadAncient maps of Antarctica, not only ice-free, but some showing it as it looked during the last Ice Age, which was (wait for it) 20,000 years ago.  There's Nazca Lines, Nabta Playa and Paracas Skulls.  The list is huge and growing almost daily.

Of course, there's the work of Michael Cremo, who has thoroughly documented "ooparts".  There's Graham Hancock who has done the same with ancient civilizations.  There's Richard Hoagland who has done the same with ruins throughout the Solar System.  Joseph Farrell who has documented evidence pointing to human civilizations going back millions of years, and the development of our religious and financial systems.

Despite the work of capable and professional researchers, the ever-growing pile of facts and figures, and the massive collection of physical artifacts, the academics refuse to budge.

The harumphers' jobs are in danger.  Had they been in the field advancing knowledge and teaching the latest understandings, they have sat on their diplomas and collected their grant money and done nothing.  They are in a position to either admit that they have been useless eaters defending dead paradigms, or scream like hell and jump up and down claiming it's all junk science and hocus-pocus.

There's healthy skepticism that promotes further study, and then there's denial of facts and recalcitrance from a position of fear and ignorance.

It's high time we stop buying "higher" education from such ostriches and put an end to the need for blessing from "authority" before we can accept what our eyes tell us.  There is no reason why someone who has spent decades studying something is any less an authority on the topic than someone with a stack of sheep skins (sheep being the operative term).

Humanity is far older than the fairy tales admit and the evidence is growing faster than we can catalog it.  We need to reclaim our true heritage and leave the naysayers and humbuggers behind.

Space A-holes Must Die!

Let's stop calling them the PTB and elites.  After all, they are just low-life, greedy scum in 3-piece Armani suits.  I propose the term "A-holes," with a capital "A" to distinguish them from the run-of-the-mill, street variety of a-hole.

These A-holes have sabotaged yet another nation's space ambitions.  India's Mars probe, like so many before it, has been scuttled by the A-holes to prevent...what?  Well, that's the Big 64-dollar question, ain't it?

You see, ever since WW2 and the incredible technologies unleashed by German and Nazi research, these A-holes, who have squatted on humanity's collective head for centuries, have been pressing the space technology to establish their Empire of the Heavens.  These pernicious dogs actually fancy themselves as akin to the gods of ancient myth and they are determined to capture the sky realms for themselves and 'once again' take their place as gods of the Heavens.

What a load of crap, but the problem is the A-holes believe it, and they are willing to kill, maim and destroy anything to get what they want: a New World Order...only they won't be on the World they intend to Order.

Since the dawn of the Space Age, there seems to be a clear agenda that someone (the A-holes) wants to have complete and unltimate control over who gets there and what they can see and do.  An inordinate number of probes seem to fail that don't come from the A-hole military-industrial-financial complex.  The Russian Fobos-Grunt, the British Beagle and now the Indian Mars craft have failed, while the US rovers and orbiters don't seem to have any problem.

And no, I obviously don't buy a superior tech story, since US tech is all off the shelf in Mumbai, anymore.

We can add to the list all the Moon probes that seem to rile up the A-holes, especially when they get too near certain sensitive areas, like the manned landing sites.  One also gets the sense that there is a high-level (bunch of A-holes) sitting on top of any data that other countries manage to acquire.  Everything is just too well managed.

Heck, the BBC story on the Indian probe problems spends a lot of time quoting "unnamed sources" about what could be going on with the satellite.  Now just a doggone minute.  Why do people commenting on space probes need anonymity?  You mean folks can't speak openly about space exploration?  Unless, of course, it's an A-hole expert showing off his inside knowledge about what's really gone wrong with the machine.

Any more, it seems like good national policy to announce that you are sending a probe to Venus, and then announce your Mars intentions once you're safely inserted into a trans-martian orbit.  Declaring up front just looks like mechanical suicide, at this point.

As researchers such as Hoagland, Farrell and Dolan have pointed out, there is a distinct set of dots to connect that make a picture of a set of A-holes with an iron grasp on all things space.  There's also a strong case to be made by these and others that a secret space program exists that serves only the interests of the A-holes.

We can only conclude that the A-holes intend to (or have already) get off the planet, establish themselves as modern-day gods, and then start lobbing crap at us, like meteors and other fun stuff, for fun.  Oh, and while they're at it, they'll nuke us (Fukushima, Stuxnet), choke us (BP oil spill) and futz with our genes (GMOs) to see what they can do to return humanity to the Stone Age and back to slaves for the A-holes...not to mention the pure entertainment value of being gods and killing off a billion or so just for fun.  Kinda like the Sims.

So, are there really a bunch of A-holes who are trying to recreate the powers of the ancient gods and lord themselves over Mankind at our own expense?  I'd say the facts show yes.  I've just presented a tiny bit of the evidence - haven't mentioned the Norway seed bank, Project Blue Beam, crop circles, and the like.

What can we do?  First of all, acknowledge that they really are shitting on us.  Two, that they really are trying to make themselves gods.  And three, that they need their wings clipped in a Big Way.  If you want to see their wet dream, watch Star Trek into Darkness, only pretend that you are the natives about to be toasted by the volcano, rather than Kirk and McCoy.  That's how they see us and themselves.

What a bunch of A-holes.

A Journey To Babel

There are two stories that fascinate me.  One is Noah's Ark and the other is the Tower of Babel.  They exist in nearly every single culture, tradition and myth on Earth, across vast spans of time, and on every inhabited continent (Antarctica has yet to yield its secrets).

The Ark story has been pretty much beaten to death, with tales of folks running up and down Mount Arat for a century looking for boats.  Boring.

But Babel...now there's a fun tale.  What exactly is going on here?  And why is it that so many cultures throughout our history record a similar event with similar circumstances at more or less the same time.  In each case, it is a single event, not multiple ones.  And in every case, the gods get worried about how far and how fast humans are progressing and decide to do something about it.

In every case, Man did not sin or do anything wrong, he simply had reached a point where he posed a direct challenge to the gods.  As Joseph Farrell says, it was a political, not ethical decision on the part of the gods to come down and stir things up.

Perhaps it would be instructive at this point to look at a couple of the stories.  Wikipedia starts us off:

The Tower of Babel (Hebrew: מגדל בבל‎ Migdal Bavel Arabic: برج بابل‎ Borj Baabel) forms the focus of a story told in the Book of Genesis of the Bible.[1] According to the story, a united humanity of the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating from the east, came to the land of Shinar (Hebrew: שנער‎), where they resolved to build a city with a tower "whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth."
God came down to see what they did and said: "They are one people and have one language, and nothing will be withheld from them which they purpose to do." "Come, let us go down and confound their speech." And so God scattered them upon the face of the Earth, and confused their languages, so that they would not be able to return to each other, and they left off building the city, which was called Babel "because God there confounded the language of all the Earth".

The Sumerians have a similar tale involving the construction of a tower, the gods Enki and Enlil, and the confusion of languages.  The Sumerian word babel means "gateway of god(s)" or quite literally "stargate", while in Hebrew, it is similar in sound to the verb "to confound".

There are similar myths in various African cultures.  The Maya have a version that is nearly identical to the Biblical telling, except that it involves those pesky Giants who keep showing up in the old tales and myths:

After Creation and the Great Flood, there were Giants running around the Earth.  However, they weren't receiving enough sunlight, so they built a tower to reach the Sun.  This act angered the sky gods who destroyed the tower and confused the languages, scattering the people across the Earth.

The Aztecs, South Pacific islanders, Mongols, and many other cultures preserve this story in some form.  Most involve the people of Earth 'speaking the same language', which allows them to work together to 'build a tower' that will either allow them to reach the realms of the gods, or conversely, preserve the knowledge already received by having reached the realm of the gods or given by a renegade god (Enki, Prometheus, etc.).

The Hindu version is particularly interesting, as it combines the symbol of the Tree of Knowledge with the Tower/Babel myth:
There grew in the center of the earth the wonderful 'world tree,' or 'knowledge tree.' It was so tall that it reached almost to heaven.  It said in    its heart, 'I shall hold my head in heaven and spread my branches over all the earth, and gather all men together under my shadow and protect them, and prevent them from separating.' But Brahma, to punish the pride of the tree, cut off its branches and cast them down on the earth, when they sprang up as wata trees, and made differences of belief and speech and customs to prevail on the earth, to disperse men upon the surface.

So, let's dissect this story a bit.  First of all, the language thing.  There is no evidence in the historical record of Mankind ever having used a single language, right?  Or is there?  Even today, if you look around, there is one Universal Language that spans countries, cultures and time.  That language is mathematics.  All of our vaunted technology is based on some kind of mathematical discovery.  Radio waves, lasers, computers, even such mundane things as alternating current, convection ovens and headphones, are all mathematics brought into our physical world.

As Galileo Galilei said, “Mathematics is the language with which God has written the universe.”  And don't we use mathematics to reach orbit and the other planets?  In other words, isn't mathematics a single language that allows us to reach the realm of the gods?

Well, not really, because mathematics is split into many different types and disciplines.  There's algebra and calculus and physics, and so forth.  In other words, our language of math has been 'confused' or 'confounded'.  And what is the Holy Grail of science but the Grand Unified Theory (GUT), which should unite all forms of mathematics under a single, elegant set of formulae.

Sounds a lot like the story of Babel, the fracturing of languages, and a current effort to restore what was lost to men.  And mathematics does indeed allow us to reach the realm of the gods, of that there is no doubt.  So if we are able to find the Holy Grail of the GUT, isn't it true that 'nothing would be withheld from us that we purpose to do'?

Nikola Tesla summed up the confusion of the Great Language quite nicely, "Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality."  This implies that if we can get our language straight, we can do 'anything we propose to do,' including engineer reality itself, as Tesla was attempting to do.

Now what about the 'tower'?  Folks have proposed dozens of locations and structures.  Alexander the Great destroyed the giant ziggurat of Babylon called Etemenanki.  But I think that if we accept that the One Language is/was mathematics, then the tower may have a completely different interpretation.

In Western culture, there are basically two main structures associated with towers: one is a place of worship, and the other is a university.  We can dispense with the first, since it preserves myth and superstition and keeps us afraid of obtaining the realm of the gods.  The other, however, is about preserving and advancing knowledge, and particularly the sciences, logic and philosophy, which are founded on the One Language, and indeed seek to obtain the realm of the gods.

Therefore, couldn't the Tower of Babel have been an enormous university or library?  After all, the great structures of the ancient world, such as the Library at Alexandria, were devoted to preserving and advancing knowledge.  The great universities of Europe are all dominated by large towers, and in fact the towers are emblematic of the universities.

Across the planet today, people are building taller and taller towers as signs of wealth and scientific prowess.  Towers have always been symbols of achievement, and they require lots of precise mathematical calculation to erect safely.  Many towers, such as the pyramids all over the Earth, not only required precise math to build, they encode all kinds of mathematical equations, formulae and constants in their structures.

Richard Hoagland's theories concerning Cydonia on Mars posit monumental structures built on profound mathematical knowledge that is embedded in the design and relationships of structures on that planet.

Thus, we can now tell the Tower of Babel story in a slightly different way.  Mankind had amassed a great amount of knowledge that either allowed or was on the verge of allowing him to reach the heavens, and perhaps even begin to engineer the fabric of space/time itself.  God-like powers, in other words.  The gods, a race of extraterrestrial, technologically advanced beings, were alarmed at Mankind's rapid growth that threatened their hegemony over the heavens and their exulted rank as gods.

So they took the decision to pop down and destroy the great university/library where all this knowledge was stored and substitute false or misleading science and mathematics that would prevent Mankind from obtaining god-like power.  This sent people off in a hundred wrong directions unable to work together because their mathematics were confused and fractured.

A perfect example of this, if you believe the official story, is the Mars Climate Orbiter - a multi-million dollar spacecraft lost because one set of scientists was using metric measurements, while another was using Imperial standard.

This ensured the supremacy of the gods and kept Mankind out of the rarefied realms.  As Farrell said, it was a political decision, not one based on evil doings or moral corruption.  Thus, the Yahweh character now appears to be more insecure than all-powerful.

All of this brings up two rather profound questions.

The first is, would destroying towers today have the same effect on human culture: scattering, confusing, causing dissension?  For that, we must thoroughly examine what has happened to our individual and collective psyches since the 9/11 attacks.  It sure seems that the destruction of the Twin Towers has scattered and confused humanity, pitting us against each other rather than focusing on concerted effort to advance the species.  Could the perpetrators of that crime have taken a page from ancient myth?

The other question that arises is, if the gods got nervous the first time humans endeavored to reach the heavens through stargates and took severe action to prevent it, could they do it again?  If/when we start getting too close to god-like abilities, will some external force come down and stir the pot again?  If so, could the rise in UFO sightings in the past 70 years have something to do with that?  And will we humans be able to stop it this time?

And much more to the point, from the perspective of the Big Picture, are humans ready to obtain that kind of power?  After all, we seem incapable of solving some of the most mundane problems with our species.  It hardly seems advisable to let us go mucking around with the very fabric of space/time, much less carrying our errors into the cosmos.

Sure, the Babel incident was done to humanity to keep it unable to enter the heavens, but was that decision made because we threatened the hegemony of the gods, or because we threatened the peace of the Universe?

Looking around, I'd guess the latter.

Quantum Leaps And Water Dragons

Reader Note: We're taking advantage of the long holiday to 'pulang kampung' for the New Year.  We'll be back on Wednesday with more Tales from the Far Side.  Until then, please take a look through our archive of nearly 400 articles.  Happy New Year!  Gong Xi Fat Choi!

A long time ago, I dismissed astrology as being a pseudo-science based on various superstitions and a certain amount of ignorance.  I always acknowledged, though, that it often had an uncanny way of generally describing people's characters and constitutions.  I more or less wrote that off as a combination of luck and prejudice, in that reading astrological descriptions predisposed one to see patterns where they did not exist.

Like every topic, I make decisions and form opinions, but I never close my mind to new evidence and understanding.  If new evidence engenders deeper understanding of a topic, and the understanding leads to a change of opinion, I have not shied away from following where the evidence leads.

That being said, I have moved in recent years to re-evaluate astrology.  Where I once saw superstition and myth, I now see a severely degraded form of ancient science that preserves an understanding of the Universe that is far more profound than our current best guesses.  This doesn't mean that I now believe in astrology, but rather that I see within it the glimpse of a greater truth that has been lost over countless millennia.

Once I discovered hyperdimensional physics, I immediately saw something that rang true.  It answered questions that relativity left hanging in space (literally and figuratively).  This new physics explained much more satisfactorily physical phenomena that caused relativists and quantists to throw up their hands or worse, develop gross contortions of mathematics to shoehorn into their theories.

Hyperdimensional physics offers graceful answers to profound mysteries, and as we are about to see, even unites ancient myths and legends into a scientific framework.

Hyperdimensional physics posits that all matter consists of unique vibrations within a medium.  The medium, whether you call it the aether or space-time, is basically a lattice or crystalline structure.  The vibrations, like stones thrown in a pond, create ripples, and where they overlap, they create patterns of standing waves that we perceive as matter or substance.  Granted, this is a very simplified definition, but it serves the purpose at hand.

The interference patterns we perceive as objects are formed by 'templates,' or a type of recording of the pattern.  Thus, the template for 'planet' creates round balls, but subtle variations create gas giants or small rocky balls, wet or dry, hot or cold.  In the same way, the template for 'person' creates the same general result, but variations create individuals in infinite variety.

Now, if we view all objects in the Universe as vibrations, then they are allowed to influence each other, to greater or lesser degrees, by creating slight variations in other templates.  In other words, all objects in the Universe influence all other objects to some degree, which is a key element of quantum physics.

It also allows another strange effect in quantum physics.  When you place two sub-atomic objects together, they will begin to resonate together.  Then, you can separate the two objects by any amount of space, and a change in one will immediately affect the other.  Vibrations in a crystalline medium is a graceful means to account for this otherwise very strange behavior.

So, where is all this going?  Glad you asked.

Astrology posits that the positions of stars and planets at the time of one's birth cause certain effects in the individual.  The positions of stars implant certain personality traits, and the positions of the planets influence the expression of these traits.  On the surface, this sounds like a bunch of superstitious bunk, but if we apply the math of hyperdimensional physics, then suddenly we see vibrations in the Universe around us causing subtle modifications in our personal templates that would vary according to which objects were where at the moment of our birth.

That birth would be the moment that these changes in our templates freeze makes sense, since up to that moment, we were vibrating synchronously with our mothers.  At the moment of birth, we become established as our own, independent vibration in the Universe.

Therefore, astrology is an attempt to describe the vivrational influences on individuals, groups or really any object, by determining what objects were in a position to modify our template at a certain moment.

That hyperdimensional physics is a mathematical system and it is engineerable, it stands to reason that if there were once a highly developed civilization on Earth that was able to calculate these vibrations to a high degree of accuracy, astrology could be a very degraded dim memory of that ancient physical knowledge.  Therefore, it might have some validity, though the precise knowledge of how to manipulate this information has been lost over the vast span of time.

In Western astrology, we talk about the influences of various constellations on the individual.  We determine the zodiac by which astralism is directly overhead at midnight each day.  This varies on an annual basis as the Earth's orbit brings a different constellation overhead each month.  The positions of the planets at any given moment further modify the influence and changes constantly with near infinite combinations.

By contrast, the Eastern system sees the constellations ruling over an entire year, with daily and monthly variations.  In addition, the annual cycle has a 60-year supercycle based on the five primal elements (earth, metal, fire, water, wood).  This new year is the year of the dragon, just like the year 2000, but there's a variation making this the year of the water dragon.  Furthermore, years alternate between yin and yang, with this year being 'yang.'  We are also at the end of the 'wood' cycle, the next being 'fire.'

Based on our suppositions earlier, that astrology is a degraded ancient science, then we can perhaps tease out some insight, some truth, about what influences will affect humanity over the coming year.  To do that, we need to know what a 'yang wood black water dragon' implies, so we turn to the Google oracle.

The first thing we need to know is the 'yang' part.  Yin and yang concern balance and harmony.  They are opposites, but dependent on each other to exist.  Yang means 'sunny' or 'place of light'.  It does not have a value judgement, such as 'good' and 'bad,' it is simply the other side of something that causes it to exist.

The dragon, or naga (origin of naga-hide), is the mirror opposite of its western counterpart.  In Eastern myth, the dragon symbolizes good fortune, luck, and divine power and authority.  In other words, it is a positive sign and one which implies benign regality and favorable disposition.  On the other hand, the dragon does not comform to expectations and prefers to 'do its own thing.'

Dragons rule over south/southeast, thunder and lightning, and the hours of 7-9 am.  They are also the embodiment of creativity.

In Eastern mythology, dragons prefer water, so we can assume that a water dragon is in its element.  The last waterr dragon year was 1952.  The new year will begin on Monday, January 23rd, and the celebration will last until February 9th.  The high point of the year's energies will be the 'dragon moon,' from May 20th until June 18.

What we're looking at here is a year of highly unpredictable events that will favor south/southeast and bring light to those regions.  Wood is fed and made stronger by water, so there will be growth and strengthening, but what will grow and strength is unknown, since the unpredictability leaves that part up in the air, as it were, though yang will influence that part.

This coming year will favor passion, creativity, self-development, and working together.  Like all things, though, these can be both good and bad.  The balance will be tipped towards light by the yang, but the dragon nature will allow tempers to flare and unpredictable outcomes to occur.  The water dragon favors seeing arguments from all points of view and taking advice from others when making decisions, so there's a predilection for more balance and better conclusions.

All in all, it should be an interesting year with many twists and turns in events.  Outcomes will favor light and creativity and working together.  There are many positive aspects for those seeking a change in direction and new paths.

There's no guarantees in Chinese astrology.  There's only favorable influences for certain outcomes.  For those of us hoping for favorable outcomes to economic and socio-political concerns, there are enhanced vibrations from Universe, but the chaotic aspect means things can go either way.  After all, luck and fortune all depend on perspective.  One man's luck is another's curse.  A lot will depend on working together and bringing things to the light.  Many secrets could be revealed.

All things east are favored, which means I'm in the right place for a little luck.  But it also means that 'east' will figure heavily into the chaotic element of events.  Keep your eye on China and Russia.  Who knows what will happen?

Or it could all be just a bunch of myths and pseudo-science.  Take your pick.

The interesting thing is that eastern dragons share a lot of characteristics with the behavior of quantum objects.  They can never be fully observed, as looking at it limits it to what the observer is expecting to see.  They are also chaotic and unpredictable.  It's interesting to ponder what aspects of dragons are dimly remembered science from a long, long time ago.

Happy New Year!  May your Yang Wood Black Water Dragon be a good one!

To PTB Or Not To PTB

Dr. Joseph P. Farrell
It's becoming obvious that Earth's history is far more complex and interesting than most folks have dared to consider.  In fact, if one follows the logical progression of events in today's headlines, both back and forward into time, one comes to the inescapable conclusion that there is a group of people who have knowledge of secret history and that they are panicked by something related to that hidden history.

One of the most fascinating researchers around today is a fellow named Dr. Joseph P. Farrell, or we call him around here, "Dr. Brain Bomb".  Many readers here may already be familiar with his work, which is impeccable in its scholarly presentation backed up with penetrating study and copious references to ancient and modern texts.  We highly recommend listening to this 3-part interview centered around his latest book, "Grid of the Gods".

Previous articles here have speculated that the PTB are in panic mode.  That seems to be a rational conclusion based on the brazen actions they have taken in recent years.  There is no escaping the observation that a frenetic effort has been undertaken since roughly the turn of the 20th century, and reaching a fever pitch with the rise of the Third Reich.  Subsequent to the appearance of the Nazis, there has been an obvious rush to reach the Moon and planets, as well as secure certain spots on Earth related to great antiquity.

To begin our exploration, it is instructive to read "Flatland".  Wikipedia tells us, "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions is an 1884 satirical novella by the English schoolmaster Edwin Abbott Abbott. Writing pseudonymously as "A Square..."  Though the novel works on several levels, we are interested in the thought-experiment of being two-dimensional characters trying to perceive the 3-dimensional Universe.

The reason this helps us is that we will be required to envision a 4-dimensional Universe, in which objects have additional spacial features that exceed heighth, width and breadth.  Though we can describe the fourth dimension mathmatically and test it experimentally, we can not perceive it directly because we are limited to our 3-D brains.

Next, we must study Richard C. Hoagland & Erol Torun's Hyperdimensional model, based on hypothetical mathmatical constants embedded in various landmarks in a region called Cydonia, on Mars.  Though this may cause many readers' eyes to glaze over, it is important to have some idea of the underpinnings for these radically new ideas.

Why is all this important, you might be asking about now.  Because the invasions of Middle Eastern countries and the rush to investigate Mars and Saturn could be symptomatic of an occult (hidden) agenda seeking both unspeakable power, and to protect the ruling elite from...something.

All this seems to begin around the beginning of the 20th century with a literal creative explosion in the realm of physics, focused on a generation of German scientists and mathematicians.  It was further encouraged by the Nazi rejection of General Relativity, because (simply) Albert Einstein was Jewish.  The Nazis pumped massive amounts of money into reconstructing ancient science and seem to have found copious clues to 'rediscover' an ancient physics that imparted great power to the possessor.

How great is this power?  Well, it involves endless free energy, anti-gravity propulsion, the ability to manipulate the physical realm and the capability to engineer space-time itself.  In a nutshell, it imparts god-like power to the person abile to harness it.

It is hard to deny that the activities of the Nazis have sparked an explostion in technologies that we take for granted today.  Everything from Hermann Porches' Volkswagen to modern rocketry had their genesis in laboratories and factories in Nazi Germany.

That era also sparked a massive race to the Moon, and it is hard to imagine that the whole effort on the part of two major powers to land on the Moon was based only on the desire to grab some rocks and dust.  We must assume that there was some knowledge to be had there, perhaps a key element that brought the new physics to life.  The only logical explanation for the sudden end of the Apollo program, despite having trained crews and fabricated equipment for another two or three landings, was the successful recovery of some key knowledge.

Where all this ties into today's headlines is that the various countries that have been invaded on the least provocation by the one country that landed on the Moon.  A study of unedited ancient history and some extrapolation leads us to the conclusion that there is additional information, and possibly technology, to be found in the ruins of Mesopotamia, Egypt and Babylon.

There is an apparent pattern of libraries and museums being raided during the various invasions and 'revolutions'.  This occurred both in Iraq and Egypt, with the primary targets being various texts and tablets, since those aret he only items that are never returned and, in fact, mysteriously disappear.

In keeping with this pattern is a place called Nabta Playa, which straddles the border of Lybia and Egypt.  It is approximately 17,000 years old and very mysterious.  It appears to have astronomical data and quantum physical mathematics embedded and encoded in its structure.  That most people have never heard of it makes it even more mysterious.

That all the nations invaded by the US in the past 10 years contain ancient sites and information argues loudly for a search for ancient knowledge whose possession and existence is so sensitive that it must be covered with the fog of war to obscure the hand of those who seek it.

It is axiomatic that when someone goes to extreme effort to distract our attention from something, there must be value in the place we are not to look.  That the Bible spends excessive effort to forbid us to look into the occult sciences, while espousing occult sciences itself, tells us there is something worth knowing there.

It's like any magician.  They go to elaborate legnths to focus our attention on a certain spot in order to hide their manipulations and make us marvel at what we didn't see.

There is no doubt that a multi-layered, multi-contextual game is being played out far above our day-to-day existence.  We can see the pieces being moved in a thousand different ways.  But it is not until we stand back a ways that we can see the game board, even though the rules of the game are still somewhat obscured from our sight.  Even though we are well aware the magician has performed a trick, and we plainly see the results, we are still mystified by the mechanism by which it was achieved.

However, once we know that a trick has been performed, and we see how it was set up and what the result was, we can reverse-engineer the means to achieve the trick.

We can assume that the PTB are panicked, though why is still hidden.  We can say fairly confidently that they are seeking some knowledge that is hidden in ancient texts and monuments, and they are desperate to be the first to possess these things.  They are manipulating the masses through the use of fear, and their power is weakening such that they must employ greater and greater means to instill the fear.  Finally, they are in need of mass human sacrifice in order to maintain and increase their power.  Thus the ongoing slaughter of thousands, even millions of lives in pointless and non-defensive and immoral wars.

We can only speculate what has spooked the PTB.  That they have turned their focus to the Heavens in the past century means that some threat exists out there for which they are preparing.  The only weapon sufficient for their needs is an ancient science and technology that would grant them supreme power.  Controlling the Earth and all its people is insufficient motivation to explain the Herculean effort they have put forth.

Certainly, if they already possessed it, they would not be going to such lengths to ridicule and denegrate and shame anyone who gets close to the Truth.  The ongoing effort to distract us from inquiry into certain areas of study, and the almost maniacal effort to trample researchers who step on the hidden secrets belies a deep-seated fear on the part of the PTB.  They can't affort to have the masses awaken before their work is finished.

The problem we face is the more panicked the PTB become, the bloodier and more maniacal their efforts will become to protect their perceived turf.  We are all in a race against time, thought we have a slight disadvantage.  We must first catch up to them before we can surpass them.  They must find whatever it is they are destroying the Earth to find before we wake up en masse.  And what is the deadline that has made the PTB so wreckless and willing to show so many cards up their sleeve?  Should we all be worried about it, or just them?

And where does all this lead?  That's the truly amazing part of the whole investigation.  As Farrell speculates, the thousands of momuments across the globe appear to be an attempt on the part of the ancients to turn the Earth itself into a machine.  For what purpose is a mystery, but the summation of all the inquires into these massive works and the various energies surrounding them point to the conclusion that someone attempted, and may have succeeded in 'tuning' the Earth.

The ultimate goal is not some New Age voodoo, but rather extreme Old Age science.  Thinking people owe it to themselves and their future to ponder these investigations and seriously consider them as real and very important activities.  It only takes one person to have the spark that will determine the course of future events.  That there is a group among us who would use this information to continue our enslavement in ignorance is without doubt.

If the lack of this knowledge is the cause of our enslavement, then the key to our freedon, and nothing less than a new era of Enlightenment is within our grasp.

It's only a matter of us wanting to be free more than THEY want to enslave us.  We certainly outnumber THEM millions to one.  The scale is tipped with nothing more than study and the willingness to follow where our reason leads us.
