Bubble Heads And Bubble Matrices

Most people tend to buy the Establishment model of the world, which states that you must adhere to a one-dimensional view of the world, in which there are only left and right views, and on that spectrum, we are only allowed to be center-left or center-right. Outside of that narrow range, folks are called Far-Left or Far-Right.

More complex thinkers allow a second dimension - a Y-axis if you will, where people can be up or down, depending on the intensity with which they hold their views.

This comes up because I have this secret hobby. I like to troll politically charged groups who fall solidly into the Left-Right Paradigm. The easy pickin's are the Progressive Left. They whine like spoilt children when folks don't just give up and believe in everything they espouse, without reason, argument or any mentation at all.

The Conservative Right are nearly as much fun, though occasionally they will pipe up with an argument or two, flimsy as they may be.

At some point, some one is bound to ask, "What DO you believe?" This question usually comes after I have spent some time trashing all members of the Generally Accepted Left-Right Paradigm.

My answer almost always flummoxes them: "I am an anarcho- crypto-captialist-social libertarian-fiscal conservative." And yes, I've noticed that isn't an option on most social media profiles.

If you want to visualize the world the way I do, then you need to think in three-dimensional bubble graphs. I see the world as a matrix of left-right, up-down, and in-out. Within that matrix, people have views that can fall anywhere within a given space, where some of the views overlap, while others lie will outside the spheres of other groups.

I believe that government should be almost non-existent and that what little trickle of money we allow them to have must be spent with annual GAAP-compliant annual reports and severe penalties for failure to comply, including the death penalty for government employees who fail to maintain the strict rules applied to them.

Outside of that one area, I do not believe the government should have the right to incarcerate or kill anyone. That is the people's job. If, after a fair and comprehensive trial by their peers, and a fair appeals process, a criminal is found guilty of a capital crime, they should be turned over to the mob and dealt with in a public and highly visible way.

I believe that folks should be allowed to do pretty much whatever the hell they want, provided they don't murder, steal, destroy other's property or lie about other people. This is contingent on everyone behaving in public with manners and etiquette and decency, as proscribed by the larger community.

I believe that companies, including corporations, should be able to do whatever it takes to make a decent profit and benefit their employees, provided that the registered officers of said companies are completely, wholly and individually responsible for the actions of the company, up to and including the above-described process for those convicted of capital crimes.

I especially believe that any company responsible for fouling the environment should have its officers marched out and forced to wallow in their own filth.

I believe that nations should encompass the physical area representing the dominant social, religious, traditional, and racial norms of any given group of people. Immigration would only be allowed insofar as the individual was willing to fully and completely assimilate into the dominant culture of a nation.

Places without any substantial human presence would be unincorporated and exist outside the bounds of any nations. This would include Antarctica and most of the world's great deserts. Within these unincorporated areas, anyone wishing to challenge themselves against the elements is free to do whatever they want, and if they are successful and eventually create a community of like-minded individuals, then they can incorporate and become a nation.

I believe the UN should exist, but have exactly zero political power. It should be a large, air-conditioned space with a few chairs and a stage and some basic A/V equipment maintained by donations only (as are any staff). Here, anyone from anywhere and come and say anything about any topic they so please, and the speeches should be streamed on the internet 24/7.

I believe there should be no compulsory education, especially that is mandated by government. Parents should be free to choose whatever course of education they want for their children, and buy whatever services they can afford to further their goals.

I believe there should be NO mandatory health care or government-operated scheme to distribute narrowly sanctioned care. Folks should be free to buy and use whatever treatments they damn well please, and join insurance pools (if any exist) that will assist in payment for those treatments.

Related to the health care issue, if folks want to kill themselves with drugs, that is their prerogative and the only people who have the right to interfere are their families and friends, and any experts they care to jointly employ for that purpose.

I believe there should be NO welfare. Either family groups bind together for their mutual benefit, or individuals can strike out on their own. In either care, they are fully and personally responsible for their own welfare. Any attempt to force others to donate to them should be treated as stealing.

I could go on, but the dear reader probably gets the idea that my views don't fall within the Left-Right Paradigm chosen for us by the Establishment. Nor do most people, when pressed on the matter.

If one could get the Average Joe into a serious conversation, they would likely find themselves espousing beliefs that in some part fall outside the bounds of allowed thought. At some level, we are all thought criminals, which is why fascist regimes are so brutally effective - everyone is guilty of something sometime, the rest is just choosing when to prosecute.

The world is far more complex than most of us are willing to contemplate on a regular basis. In fact, the reason we tend to buy into the Establishment boundaries is because it reduced the burden of thinking we are faced with. If everything is left-right, black-white, rich-poor, then we can make decisions with coin tosses and move on with our business.

True freedom, real liberty, is a lot of work, just like those great marriages we all envy. Sure, to the world they are a happy, bubbly couple full of life and love, but behind the scenes, there is a lot of discussion, pondering and compromise.

One -dimensional thinkers are easy targets and deserve to be trolled. If they are so willfully blind and eager to wear their hearts on their sleeves, then let the games begin!

i prefer to revel in the glorious complexities that are human existence.

Osiris Reborn

CORRECTION: In my rush to jot down my thoughts, I made some glaring errors that don't necessarily affect the symbolism, but should be corrected for accuracy.

Osiris was murdered (and hacked into 14 pieces) by the god Set.  Isis collected the pieces and placed all but one, the penis, in a hollow tree trunk, which she bound and threw in the Nile.  Osiris was resurrected after three days inside the tree.

Isis impregnated herself with Osiris' disembodied member and produced Horus, who ultimately vanquished Set, receiving the facial scar (Valles Marinaris) and losing his eye.  Just so we're straight on all this...

As I write this, it is the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attack in New York City and Washington, D.C., and like the JFK assassination, we are no closer to the truth than we were when Building 7 collapsed that day.

Some time ago, Richard Hoagland and Mike Bara published a book called Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA (reviewed elsewhere on this site), in which the authors argue that NASA uses occult rituals and symbols in the timing and naming of missions.  One of the recurring names is Osiris, otherwise known as Orion.

You're likely wondering at this point how a nutter in the jungles of Borneo is going to tie these two things together.  Bear with me for a moment.

On 11 September 1999, a near-Earth asteroid, or NEO, was discovered.  It is about 500 meters on its long axis, and every six years its orbit brings it perilously close to Earth.  The asteroid was eventually named Bennu.

In ancient Egyptian religion, the Bennu was a mythical bird that was intricately tied to the Sun and resurrection/rebirth, and Creation itself.  Some researchers speculate that the Bennu was the precursor of the Greek phoenix, the mythical bird that was occasionally consumed by fire and then reborn from its ashes.

Also in ancient Egyptian religion, Osiris was the king of the gods, married to Isis, and father of Horus.  Horus eventually rose up and killed his father in a tremendous battle that left Horus with one eye (the eye of Horus) and his father hacked into 14 pieces - a story likely the precursor for the Greek version of Cronus and Zeus.  Thus, Osiris became the ruler of the underworld, the place of the dead, much like the Greek Hades or Roman Pluto.

The most powerful symbol for Horus was the horizon and the rising Sun.  We should also note that the Eye of Horus is likely the origin of the Masonic All-Seeing Eye, and is related to the Sanskrit name for the Sun - matahari - which literally means "eye of the day."

Still with me?  Hang in there.

With all the relevant names, symbols and dates noted, let's start tying them together:

On 8 September 2016, NASA launched a probe called OSIRIS-REx (or Osiris King) to gather data and samples from the NEO asteroid 101955 Bennu.  The launch took place at night while the Sun was below the horizon.  The probe will return to Earth with its samples on 24 September 2023.

The asteroid Bennu was discovered on 11 September 1999, the same year a movie called The Matrix was released, which featured a character called NEO, who is ultimately resurrected/reborn to save the Earth and whose passport has been noted to have an expiration date on 11 September 2001.  Bennu is believed to hold clues to the origin/creation of life on Earth and is thought to be a remnant of the birth of the Solar System.

There are currently three planets being orbited by NASA probes: Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Jupiter and Saturn are named after gods (Cronus and Zeus) whose rivalry is thought to be a version of the Osiris/Horus tale.  Mars is a symbol of Horus (a.k.a. Horus the Red), being scared and bloodied in battle with Osiris.  Last year, the NASA probe New Horizons flew past Pluto.  Pluto is the Roman god of the underworld, similar to Osiris, and the craft's name could be interpreted as the "new Horus (of the Horizon)."

Now this could all be just the wild imaginings of a veteran conspiracy theorist, and it is all most likely a unique set of multiple coincidences.  But given the rather strong and well-researched arguments put forth in the Hoagland/Bara book and the great number of times, dates, names and symbols that conjoin in this tale, and given the deep roots of NASA in the occult (Nazis/von Braun, wizards/Jack Parsons), it is worth pondering.

It seems that some kind of rebirth/resurrection ritual is being played out in the heavens, and as the Hermetic mantra goes, "As above, so below."  A couple of odd 'coincidences' are easy to pass off, but when they pile up like autumn leaves, it begs speculation that someone is communicating a message - to whom and to what end, of course, are a matter of interpretation, at least insofar as us outsiders are concerned.

The next step is to formulate a theory and extract predictions about future events and behaviors to see if this analysis is anywhere near correct.  Perhaps as I reflect on these things a pattern will emerge for future publication.  In the meantime, the reader is encouraged to let his/her mind run free.

Are we about to see the birth of a new god, or the resurrection of an ancient one?

Thinking Our Way To Freedom

One of our loyal FarceBook fans called us out on our assertion yesterday that we don't need leaders.  Let's let R.E. state it in his own words:
"trusting and focused are better words... most of us see the world as too complicated to navigate on our own and we are right. We can be ever vigilant and forego police... but you have to sleep sometime. We can forego government in totum but then we sit in a minor spot to grow our food, until fate or another person takes it away... the "birthright" is an illusion, just like honest government and security"
Points well taken and definitely worth a response.

While I greatly respect R.E., I must first state unequivocally that there is no such thing as security, nor safety for that matter.  It is all an illusion, and the sooner we are disabused of it, the sooner we can free ourselves and our minds.  My view of security is best represented by my own experience.  I used to have a gorgeous 1970 Pontiac Catalina 400 rag top with a custom-designed and installed Blaupunkt sound system that I did myself.  People said I was crazy putting that system in a rag top, but they were aghast that I left the top down and the doors unlocked most of the time - weather permitting.

I explained that with a rag top, getting in would take about 10 seconds, no matter how many precautions I took.  So better to just leave it open so that I would only lose the stereo, and not the top also.

In fact, no one ever touched my car.  At one point, a BMW next to it was trashed in a parking garage, but not a scrap of paper was missing from my car.  I owned that car for 10 years and never had a problem.  My experience confirmed, to me at least, that the more you try to protect something, the more challenge it presents to someone to break it.  Thus, the best security is none at all.

So, having dispensed with that argument, let's turn our attention to the idea that we need leaders because life is so complex.

Balderdash.

I view life as a three-dimensional matrix, and it greatly simplifies life and makes it rather manageable, without sacrificing the detail needed to function effectively.

Imagine a cube divided into seven sections on all planes - 7x7x7.  That means there are 343 smaller cubes within the larger one.

The X axis I label the Seven Deadly Sins.  OK, it's a hangover from my Catholic catechism, but it neatly sums up all the evil in the world.  To refresh our memory, the seven deadly sins are: Pride. Envy. Wrath, Gluttony and Lust. Sloth and Greed.  Honestly, can you think of any bad emotion that doesn't fit in one of those categories?

The Y axis are the seven Virtues.  Again, to refresh: Prudence, Justice, Moderation, Fortitude, Faith, Hope, and Love (charity).

On the Z axis, we have the seven Plots (a la Christopher Booker): Overcoming Monsters, Rags to Riches, The Quest, Voyage and Return, Comedy, Tragedy, and Rebirth.

To fully grasp the nature of this matrix, take a moment now to pause, reflect and internalize.  Can you think of any human situation that does not fall within at least two of these categories?

I didn't think so.

So that means that all of human society, history, art, and civilization can be plotted somewhere within this matrix of 343 choices.  Everything you do, from waking up in the morning to cooking dinner falls within two or three of these axes.  If you really want to encompass Life, the Universe and Everything, then simply label the axes: Motive, Opportunity and Means.

In a nutshell, this means that everything we know, have known or could know is summed up in 343 points within a 7x7x7 cube.

See how simple life really is?

Knowing this, and having the matrix firmly in our minds, what need do we have for leaders?  They are nothing more than points in the matrix, just like us.  Everything they do is a point in the matrix, just like us.  Everything the want is a point in the matrix, just like us.  So how, exactly, are they qualified to lead?  After all, they are just like us.

The fact of the matter is that no one is more or less qualified to lead us than ourselves.  With a few basic rules of conduct, everyone should be allowed to do whatever they want within the confines of their property, which includes their bodies and any space that they own.

The elite know this.  That is why they try so hard to keep us stupid, take away our property (or prevent us from owning any) and make every aspect of human behavior a crime.  It is the only way to control us, and our complicity is the only way we are controlled.

What it all comes down to is that our lives are nothing more than 343 variables.  To the extent that we can control any of them means that we have more security than before.  To the extent that we can't control them, but delegate someone else to handle the issue means we have an illusion of control and security, because once you delegate a variable to someone else, you have multiplied your problem exponentially.  How the delegate handles your variable depends on where they are in the matrix.  Now you have added their matrix to yours and increased the variables at least 343 times.

The fact is, no one is better at watching out for you than you.  Every time you delegate a personal responsibility to another, you make the situation less controllable.  In modern society, we have delegate so much personal power to others that life seems to be so complex and out of control.  In fact, it IS out of control, but it is NOT complex.

Time to take some of that power back.  Stop letting "leaders" take your power to use for their ends.  You have the sum of human knowledge right here on the internet.  You have a personal responsibility to educate yourself.  You are the one person that can delegate your power.  One tiny little change in the way you think can change the world.  And with the thousands of readers here, we have a force multiplier.

We don't need others to lead us, we need to lead ourselves.  Start reading, turn of the TeeVee, take responsibility for your life.  It's really quite simple.  All it requires is looking with different eyes - eyes that we once had as children, but lost due to training.

The only powe someone else has over us is what we give them.

In some ways, 50 Shades of Gray laid it in front of us, but we missed the point for all the steamy sex.

Oops...isn't sex in the matrix?

7.1.13

Of FarceTwits And iBerries

I consider it a supreme irony that time-wasters like FarceBook, TWITer and others are called 'social media'.  If anything, they are the most anti-social inventions ever devised.  On top of that, they are destroying the language...any language...all languages.  Not to mention the fact that these distractions are killing the fine art of conversation.

Ive all but given up on the family dinner.  Used to be the family, ideally, would gather together each evening to break bread and share tales of the day's adventures.  Value was placed on those folks who could regale with the best-crafted stories and entertain with witty and mildly sarcastic observations of human nature.  Over the last few decades, though, this time-honored tradition has eroded until today, there is hardly a gathering around the table, much less stimulating conversation because of it.

It all started, of course, with the democratic distribution of TeeVee.  It wasn't long before some 'genius' gave the world the TeeVee dinner, a vaguely appetizing collection of yellows and browns that kind of tasted OK, but who'd notice since the family was entranced by the flickering lights in a box.

This form of anti-social socializing reached a crescendo when programming execs split the viewing schedule so that kid-attractors came early on in the evening, while adult-attractors were set for later.  Throw in a microwave oven and you had the recipe for quickie meals for the kids at 5 or 6 in the evening, while Mom and Pop would have slightly more elaborate gruel after bedtime...all ingested while spewing alpha brain waves in front of the Boob Toob.

Now-a-days, even if/when the family gathers to shove genetically-modified organisms down their gullets, the only thing social about the occasion is the relatively close proximity of their corporal beings.  Otherwise, all individuals are engrossed in their iBerries barely acknowledging either food or their dining partners.  Occasionally, someone will stir ever so slightly to take a picture of everyone else with their noses glued to their iBerries and the last bit of steam rising from the untouched dinner to take a photo to post on their FarceTwit.

There is one redeeming value in all of this.  I used to talk to myself a lot, but now I can at least look like I'm conversing with other people.

Call me a neo-Luddite.  I really despise all these gee-gaws.  I do manage to find some entertainment in it all, though.  I like to watch people when I receive a text or call and I don't leap over tall buildings to answer it.  At first, people stare at me waiting for me to grab the device and breathlessly absorb the mostly-meaningless gibberish.  After a short time, though, they being to hyperventilate and turn pale as they begin to worry that I'm missing the latest update on someone's bowel movement.  Before long, they're in an all-out panic, since I haven't skipped a dozen or so heartbeats to find out who just discovered toe jamb.

Maybe I'm now considered old-fashioned, or should I use 'old school'?  I still believe that having a conversation with a living, breathing human being takes precedence over electronic communications from non-present folks.  Furthermore, I find no artistry in FarceTwits.  A good conversationalist can enlighten and stimulate thought, while 99.999999% of FarceTwits are benign, at best, and banal in the norm.

Of course, I've never liked phones either.  I hate talking to someone when I can't see their face.

E-mail, too, has destroyed the letter.  No one uses salutations or honorifics anymore, and the notes usually start and end in mid-thought, as if the recipient were injected into a stream-of-consciousness ejaculation, but that assumes that most people are conscious these days.

All of which brings us to the destruction of language.  The effect is not limited to English, but to every language used on the 'net.  They have all begun to devolve into crass forms of short-hand with a near-total absence of adjectives, adverbs or metaphors.

No one struggles to turn a phrase or creatively string sounds together in a meaningful way.  Instead, most communications now are little more than prehistoric grunts and growls trying to cram some amount of meaning into 139 characters or less.  The written word has devolved into a string of consonants masquerading as profundities.  And since these media are so cheap and fast, people no longer take the time to distill their thoughts, leaving us with verbal grape juice rather than fine wine.

Not that it matters much, since the attention span of the average mediot is shorter than Planck's Constant.

Back in the day, when I used to read Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four as prophesy rather than history, I used to wonder how the authoritarians would get folks to sit still while they snipped the language down to the bare bones to the point it was impossible to even have certain thoughts.  It never ceases to amaze me that it was achieved voluntarily, and people were even enticed to spend money on the devices to do it.  In fact, the younger generation is even beginning to talk in Newspeak.

Double-plus good wot?

Language and culture go hand in hand.  Culture influences language by adding new words, redefining old ones and adding subtext and context to the meaningful use of them.  Language, on the other hand, transfers culture from one generation to the next.  Without it, we cannot pass on the things we have learned, in the hopes of giving insight and instruction to future humans.  The destruction of one is the destruction of both.

There may come a time, sooner than later, when no one will be able to read Plato or Shakespeare, when humor and wit are limited to body noises and pratfalls, when subtle differences like 'hear' and 'listen' are lost.  We are already at the point where students know more about putting condoms on cucumbers than they do about W. B. Yeats or t. s. eliot.  Already, folks graduate from university without ever having read a single word of Aristotle, Kant or Lao Tzu.  They call themselves educated, yet they can't recite even a single stanza of Dante or Cicero.  At best, they've heard of Justin Bieber.

I have to wonder what great things would happen in our world if families returned to Sunday night dinners - check all electronics at the door.  Or how about turning off the TeeVee a couple of nights a week so that the kids could do poetry recitals.  How about banning the use of the word 'friend' for anyone other than close personal relationships?  Certainly, we know that the dissolution of public school systems would greatly improve general education, and along those lines, anyone with a degree containing the word 'education' in it should be banned from all contact with children.  We should call them 'cognitive predators' and register them like sexual offenders.

The path we are on has led to decaying social interaction, not enhanced.  It is destroying our languages and swallowing whole the time we used to give towards bonding with real friends and interacting with real human beings.  We waste so much time FarceTwitting that we have none left for meaningful, profound communication with people.  Rather than coherent thoughts, we assail each other with malformed mush and empty utterances.

Think how much time we throw away on gee-gaws and accessories, upgrades and replacements, apps and downloads.  Suppose we applied just a fraction of all that effort to simple human-to-human interaction and real-life adventures?  Suppose that instead of mindlessly inhaling TeeVee, we used that time to memorize the great soliliquies of Shakespeare or the poetry of e.e. cummings?  What profound and amazing changes would take place?

At a minimum, it would at least limit our exposure to the 24-hour propaganda cycle.  Who knows?  It could also repair the language.

The iBerries and FarceTwits are just an endless circle of tail-chasing, trying to keep up with the latest nonsense and fads.  Instead of becoming exciting communication tools, they have become annoyances, at best, and destructive weapons, at worst.  Even scarier are the generations coming whose only memories and relationships exist as bits and bytes in a global ether.  They will know strangers a thousand miles away better than the people living in the same house with them.  They may even evolve into a Tom Robbins nightmare of creatures with grotesquely large thumbs and no survival skills in the real world.

If the philosophers are right, and we do live in some kind of holographic matrix, then what an amazing strangeness that are creating a matrix withing a matrix.  Life is becoming a hall of mirrors punctuated by glowing rectangles of light, a Dali-esque stellar tapestry with little substance and invisible borders.

Our increasing reliance on electronics as a replacement for familiar and intimate human relationships can only end in disaster.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the apocalypse was a voluntary surrender of thousands of years of civilization for a few seconds of electronic gratification?

2001 Shining Orange Eyes

"I suppose you want the password."
"If you like."
"Fidelio."
"Thank you."

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Orson Welles.  Frank Zappa.  Stanley Kubrick.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Many people have no idea the secrets that are laid bare in art.  Great masters of their media have always embedded keys to decoding the Matrix in their work.  Their talents drive them to uncover the hidden mysteries of Life. When they do, they attempt to present their findings to us is a way that doesn't immediately push us away, and which attempts to slide these revelations under the radar of the Watchers.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodies?

Mozart's final opera, Die Zauberflöte or The Magic Flute, placed the inner rituals and symbols of Freemasonry on display for all to see.  If you have ever seen an accurate adaptation of the opera, then you may have noticed the Queen of Heaven, the Rainbow Bridge, the noose, the bird...all variations on occult Masonic symbols.  In fact, you would see all the archetypes present in a later work called The Wizard of Oz.

Writing the opera at a time (1791) when the Bavarian Illuminati were becoming a powerful force behind European and American politics, Mozart attempted to sensitize the audience to that group's symbols as a means of exposing them.  It was a warning to anyone who could interpret the opera that nefarious forces were rising behind the scenes.  Curiously, Mozart died at a young age shortly after that opera hit the stage.

Orson Welles
Orson Welles famously revealed the inner workings of one of the most powerful men of his era, William Randolph Hearst.

Hearst was the Rupert Murdoch of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  He could make or break public figures, start wars and manipulate public opinion with the flick of a pen.  His life was mirrored in the character of Charles Foster Kane, a pitiable and lonely man haunted by what he had lost.  Interestingly, Kane was also Welles' autobiographical projection.

Though Citizen Kane is considered one of the greatest films of all time, both for its daring narrative style, and for the ground-breaking visuals that it used, Welles was virtually destroyed by it.  Hearst arguably put an end to Welles' career before it had truly begun.

Though Welles' later work showed all the innovation and genius of his first film, he never attained the stature of say, a Spielberg or Lucas.  But because his creativity was quite useful to the PTB, having tested mass mind-control techniques with War of the Worlds for them, Welles was allowed to muddle through, as long as he didn't stir the pot too much, which he didn't, at least not to the shocking extent of his first film, though all his works contains many visual allusions and metaphors for the aware viewer.

Frank Zappa is not someone most people think of when listing the Great Exposers of the Hidden Elite.  Few people truly appreciate his unique blends of musical styles, or his flaunting of social mores through playfully sarcastic lyrics.  However, if one listens carefully to Joe's Garage in Three Acts, you will pick up very definite audio vignettes of the inner workings of the music industry.  The Central Scrutinizer is the All-Seeing Eye, leading us on a biographical tour of Joe's rise to musical fame, his descent into sex and drugs, his concentration for being creative, and his eventual redemption.

Frank Zappa
Joe's Garage is an audio tour de force, a musical confession of a brilliant mind who eventually saw through the Matrix of his own life and converted his story into a popular and brilliantly crafted rock opera morality play.  Zappa goes directly for the juggler of religion and society, especially Catholicism, Scientology and government control.  He trashes the emptiness of pop culture and drags himself back to humanity and a sense of Self, and beckons us to join him.

Because music is truly the universal language, great composers like Mozart and Zappa are very accessible.  The problem is modern humans have little training in this language, and so are rarely able to bring to conscious thought what their sub-conscious minds automatically understand.

Zappa is often dismissed as whimsical and farcical, and so doesn't rate a look at the depth and layering evident even in his earliest works. Ultimately, this is also his saving grace, in that it was a perfect disguise for his message, though it often leads to him being written off prematurely, as well.

Stanley Kubrick is arguably the all-time master of hidden context and symbolism, when it comes to mass media.  He was one of the few cinematic greats who deeply understood both the art and science of the visual medium, and one of the fewer still who used it for us, rather than against us.  One wishes that he had lived to direct the Da Vinci Code, rather than Ron Howard.  Who knows what depth of layering and occult truths would have emerged from his powerful mind?

Whether you believe Kubrick produced the Moon landings or not, there is no denying that what we expected to see from Man's exploration of local space was exactly what Kubrick planted in our minds with 2001: A Space Odyssey just a year before Apollo 11.

He also showed us the power of secrets and lies.  Hiding truth always led to the logical conclusion that those who threatened to expose it had to die.  It was a conclusion to which even a sentient machine would come.  The only possible outcome of occult knowledge was death and destruction.  Occult is the polar opposite of Truth, one leading to death, the other to Life.

Stanley Kubrick
Kubrick was directly responsible for my awakening to the power of mass media and my desire to learn and master it.  A Clockwork Orange (ACO) left me stunned in my seat.  I had just watched mass mind manipulation in action, but what's more was that Kubrick has shown the audience how it was done and why it worked.

As I listened to the talk as the lights came up, I realized that Kubrick had just done a number on our heads.  He had taken a loathsome and despicable character named Alex, and had turned him into an anti-hero, a sympathetic and tragic figure before our very eyes.  Most people left the film dazed, unable to articulate why.  I knew immediately what had happened, and the alchemy of it enthralled me.

When The Shining came out, I knew immediately that what I had seen and felt in ACO was not a fluke.  Here it was again.  Kubrick had created a symbolic United States in the Overlook Hotel, and he forecast the decay and descent into madness that would follow our collective denial of what had been destroyed to achieve the Shining City on the Hill.  All Americans are Jack Torrance, driven mad by a misguided work ethic and the incessant nagging of Wendy, our conscience personified.

There was no longer any doubt in my mind that Kubrick was telegraphing multiple layers of warnings and wake-up calls to us.  It caused to go back and review all his films carefully, and when I did, I was left gasping for air like a fish yanked from his native ocean.  But the real slap to my psyche was yet to come.

Then came Eyes Wide Shut.  For the first time ever, I was unable to move when the lights came up.  I was gob-smacked into paralysis.  I sat through a second showing in the same afternoon.  I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing.  It was all there...all of it.  It was The Magic Flute, Citizen Kane, Joe's Garage, and all of Kubrick's previous works rolled up into one stunning package.

I was haunted by the sounds and images.  I have since viewed it frame by frame, dissected the sound track, and parsed the dialogue, analyzing every layer of meaning.  It is one of the most daring exposes I have ever witnessed.  It was a news reel for the Awake and Aware, and a teacher of even the most adept.  Every nuance and subtlety had a minimum of three definitions.  It was a visual Wasteland, with all of the mastery of Eliot in multiple, simultaneous channels.  And Kubrick was dead four days after finishing it.

One thing all four of these men have in common, beside the ability to lay Life's Great Mysteries at our feet, is that they were all intimately familiar with the aspects of the social Matrix that they exposed.  Mozart walked among the powers of Europe and was a plaything for them.  Welles knew the media moguls and Hearst empire from the inside, both in radio and the newspapers that could make or break a life in 500 words or less.  Zappa had lived through the explosion of pop culture and the rock music industry, and put its guts on display for anyone willing to listen.  And finally, Kubrick understood the awesome power of the visual media, and how multiple messages could be sent through simultaneous channels without distortion.

Kubrick showed us a stylized film frame as the monolith, stark and mysterious, imparting knowledge and information through some unseen magical method.  He showed us how it could be used to make the reprehensible into something likeable by manipulating our senses.  He confessed his sins, and those of his native country, in the metaphors of haunted hotels and naive characters.  And finally, he showed us who the men behind the curtains were, somewhere over the rainbow, in the language of dreams, using the future impossible tense.

These men, and many other people, have suffered greatly both for what they knew, and for their attempts to tell us.  They paid hellish prices, in some cases the Ultimate Price, to bring us the information they had.  It behooves us to listen carefully.  They are trying to warn us away from certain disaster, even from beyond the grave.  Their works are timeless and entrancing, simply because of the pure truths they hold out, though it is up to us to unlock the incredible stories they have to tell us.

It's like that strange scene in Interview with a Vampire, when Brad Pitt first joins the undead.  Suddenly his eyes are opened to the rich and terrifying world just beyond the obvious.  And so it is with us, if we are willing to push the boundaries of our Matrices and see the world for what it is.  Be prepared, though.  Things are never what they appear to be, especially when we stand on the shoulders of giants.

All Truth must be discovered, it can not be delivered.  The great minds have done the work to give us the pieces and we must do our part to assemble them.

Strawmen And Tar Babies

I've been getting some really great email the past couple of weeks.  Thanks to henrymakow.com, rense.com and davidicke.com picking up one of my articles, my readership has nearly doubled and folks are sending in great messages.  I only wish I could answer them faster.
==========
"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it."
One reader asked me if I believed in Atlantis.  Gosh, he's in trouble.  Questions like that can fill books with responses.  The short answer is yes.  The longer answer is that as a concept of a Golden Age, I believe there is a preponderance of evidence for at least one, if not more, highly advanced civilizations that inhabited at least Earth, and probably the Moon, Mars and one or more moons of Saturn.  The dates would be around 65 million years ago and 3 million years ago.  We are all that's left of the last one.

I could go on at length on this question.  The answer is rather fascinating, at least to me.  But there was another email that I thought was more immediate, and somewhat easier to answer:
"Obviously you have experienced all of this first hand having been persecuted in your own country.
If I was to ask you honestly. Do you think they can be brought down? And how can we bring this about?
I am personally experiencing a lot of despair and flashing anger right now. My emotions are all over the place and I need to focus on something positive that I can and should be doing.
Any suggestions would be welcome."
To address the experience part, I'd have to say yes, I've had quite a bit.  Not as much as some, but more than others.  I've learned a few thing, at any rate.

The second part is where it gets interesting.

Yes, they can be brought down.  In fact, they are coming down even as we speak.  Not that it's entirely work of activists, to be sure.  They are being defeated by the one thing they can't accept: the Laws of Nature.

You can't go around defying the balance and harmony of the Universe forever.  At some point, no matter how smart, or rich, or cunning you think you are, the piper will get paid.  There's just no two ways about it.  Everything they are doing has been tried over and over throughout history, and in ever single case, without exception, it has failed.  Slavery, fiat economies and elitist centralized power have always collapsed under their own weight.  That they keep trying despite this record shows that they are completely and hopelessly insane, to boot.

I assume the question at hand is how can we help things along to quicken the pace of Nature's own accounting system.

In the old days, folks just showed up with pitchforks and torches and a few lengths of rope, and hung the bastards out to dry (see French Revolution).  In the current age, they have been using highly sophisticated mass mind-control techniques for a long time.  Any violent acts on the part of regular folks will not be met with favorable response from any side.

In fact, it would only serve their purposes.  They are begging for us to do that, and in fact are doing everything they can to elicit that kind of response.  It would distract and divide us, which is a well-worn tactic, and would keep us from actually seeing their Achilles' Heel.  That's exactly what they want.

They have spent a couple of centuries weaving a massive tapestry that we generally call 'daily life'.  They have pulled this thing down over our eyes and beat it into us so well that a great many folks can't imagine any alternative.  A lot of us honestly believe that if we don't play their game, that civilization will collapse.

I've got news for you.  It IS collapsing, and all because of what they have done to us.

The thinking person will see that we honestly have nothing to lose now.  We have no wealth, only debt notes for money.  We have no property.  Stop paying your taxes and you will find out rather quickly who owns your stuff (and it ain't you).  You'd have to move pretty far out in the wilderness to escape the madness, and even then you'd eventually have park rangers crawling up your keister.

So how do you fight this Beast?  How can you help to accelerate its collapse without violence and in a way that most folks can't fault you for doing?  The answer is deceptively simple:

Stop playing the game.

We are living in a massive casino being run by a mafia.  The first rule of gambling is the house ALWAYS wins.  The second rule is they make money because people keep gambling, despite knowing the first rule.  The only way to really win in a casino is to not play in the first place.  If enough people do this, then the casino is forced to shut down because revenues are not enough to cover costs.

This is one way to look at things, and its enough to start the process, but there is a better way that's more complex and daunting.  When folks begin to ponder the size of the problem, they usually get turned off from fighting and give in to what they view as inevitable servitude.  It doesn't have to be that way, but it does take a fair amount of work to be successful.

In the past, a number of people have had varying amounts of success using the strawman theory.  In order to do this correctly requires hours and hours of study to learn how the law works, and then begin extracting yourself from it.  This was the approach I chose, and I got pretty good at it.  I won many cases and had lots of successes.  However, they have backup systems for people like me.  They have Child Protection Service, which is so grossly misnamed as to nearly be laughable if it weren't so serious.  They are granted the power to kidnap your children at will, based on the flimsiest of excuses, and hold them for ransom.  The ransom usually involves you bowing to the system and paying your last dollar to them, otherwise they will kill your children, either mentally or physically.  That's just one technique, but it's very common in cases like mine.

The scale of the problem is both the problem itself, and the solution, too.  Here's the thing: every aspect of what we call daily life is part of the system.  They have carefully hooked us on gee-gaws an baubbles so that we can't imagine living without them.  They have carefully built the system to be self-enforcing.  If you want one thing, it requires another to make it useful, and the second thing requires others, and so on.

The car is very useful, but it requires financing, fuel, service, and so on.  If you want the car and the services it can provide, then you must also buy into a dozen other ancillary services to make it work, including licenses, inspections and other regulatory bullshit (at least that's what they would have us believe).

At the base of it all is this thing called money, but more properly currency, and they aren't the same.  For any and all of the services and baubles that we desire, we have to use currency.  Now the currency is nothing more than paper and ink.  It has little or no intrinsic value.  Every bit of value that it carries is strictly in our minds and in what we are told.

We believe we need government, and the government requires taxes, and to pay the taxes requires a certain currency.  So it becomes a self-reinforcing circle jerk.  That the currency also gets us various other benefits helps to shore up the perception that the paper and ink has some kind of value.  In the end, all it does is keep us enslaved to the system at the business end of a gun.

Hardly freedom by my standard.

Given the scope and scale of this problem, it's hard to imagine where to start, if your want to extract yourself.  There is no magic bullet and no single method is all-powerful.  You have to back out the way you got in, one piece at a time.  You started with a birth certificate, worked up to a taxpayer number, a driver's license, investments and bank accounts, etc.  That's how you get out.

You have to unwind what has been wound.  Start by closing bank accounts.  Really.  You can cash paychecks at the issuing bank for free.  Get a small safe for your house, and start keeping you money there.  Believe me, you won't be losing anything, given the interest rates, and you'll save money from all the damn service charges.

Got a 401(k) or other retirement account?  At the very least, stop contributing to it.  If you can, shut it down, take the penalty hit, and put the cash in your safe.

When your driver's license expires (make sure it expires), don't renew it.  As an alternative, use a passport for official photo ID.  Better yet, just carry a nortarized copy of your birth certificate.  Perfectly legal ID pretty much everywhere I've ever been.  Driver's licenses usually issue a single number for life.  Passports change every ten years.  Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Stop buying new things at major department stores.  Instead, start payig cash for second-hand.  Takes a little extra time, but your purchase won't enrich a corporation any further than the original purchase already did.  Start a garden and learn to can foods.  Reduce your store purchases of food as low as possible.  When you can, buy from local co-ops and farmer's markets.  By-pass the institutional system and give your money directly to the guy growing the food.

Reduce your cash transactions as much as you can.  Barter, trade and find creative ways to exchange that don't involve using currency.  Worse case scenario, use gold and silver coins for trade whenever possible.

If you're really ambitious, start looking into allodial title to your land.  In Texas, once your have this title, you no longer have to pay property taxes.  This is much harder to do with property in cities that are incorporated, but with farm land and such, it's a fairly straight-forward process, though time consuming.  And you will meet with a lot of official resistance and outright oppression.  That's when you know you're on the right track.

In Texas, you're allowed to carry a gun, open or concealed, if you are traveling.  I kept a suitcase in the back of my car.  Who's to say I'm not on my way out of town?  Yes, you'll still have to fight, because so-called law enforcement officers are clueless about the law.  But at least in court, you can produce the letter of the law and get the case dismissed.

These are just some ideas for those serious about getting out of the system, or at least causing enough stress to it to accelerate its demise.  Granted, none of these are very effective if only a handful of people do them.  But if thousands, and even millions start fighting back, things will change rather quickly.  Simply closing out your bank accounts is very effective in stressing the system.  I'm not advocating bank runs here, I am talking about an orderly process of shutting down the accounts, emptying safe deposit boxes and refusing to feed the Beast.

The important part of this whole exercise is to start becoming aware of just how the matrix is constructed and by what means it entraps us.  You can't escape from a prison until you know where the walls are.  You can't pick a lock until you know how it works and can fully visualize what you are doing inside.

Notice that none of the things I have mentioned involve violence or protests.  They are simply adjusting how you go about your daily life.  It's taken your entire liife to get tangled up in this mess, so don't think you can get out without some effort on your part.

Like all habits, though, once you start changing the way you do things, it doesn't take long for it to become a habit and you hardly notice the effort anymore.  In fact, like any habit, the longer you go at it, the more you will automatically streamline the process.  You can expect disruptions at first, but they eventually smooth out.

Most importantly, you must keep in mind that the system will fight back.  It doesn't like even one person having success, because it leads to others following suit.  You must be prepared mentally and spiritually to fight.  Notice I didn't say physically...that doesn't matter, although good health is always a good idea.

One final note.  As you wake up, and others too, you will experience anger, depression, hopelessness, and frustration.  These are natural, because you have been sorely deceived by people and institutions you trust implicitly.  Channel these feelings into educating yourself and others.  Learn what you have done to get here, and the path back will become obvious.

The reason the bastards are trying so hard to shut down the internet is because it has gotten away from them.  They never envisioned it becoming a means for people to educate and activate.  They are desperate.  That shows we're winning.  With that in mind, it's much easier to push ahead.

The time is coming fast.  We must prepare ourselves inside and out for what lies ahead.  It's not enough to end the slavery that has held us for centuries, we must be ready with something to replace it when it's gone.  This is more important than any other consideration, because the system is collapsing under its own weight.  We have to decide collectively what we will do when it's gone.  For that, we need to know history and truth.

And that's the real trick.
