A Cloud Of Unknowing

One of our many highly intelligent readers is banging the proverbial head against the figurative wall:
Hello B,
I came across this article that left me wondering what in the world is going on!
Riddle of the radiation sweeping across Europe: UN nuclear agency mystified by soaring levels
I have questions.  Seriously, if the amount of this radioactive iodine-131 is so small, why even mention it.
Did NASA release the images of the Tarantula Nebula in order to explain the radioactive iodine- 131 or did someone just see the description of the radiation and winds produced by this nebula and conveniently link it to the 'riddle of the radiation'.
How many patients pee and poo would it take to loft this radioactive iodine-131 into the atmosphere?  Does it become aerosolized when these patients flush the toilet?  Are they referring to the sweat that is 'excreted' by the patients that gets wafted into the air as they walk down the sidewalk?
I could go on, but I won't!  What do you think is up with this?  Why would they even bring it up?  Stuff like this makes me crazy!!
Being a man of few words, I briefly responded:
You have a rather intriguing way of opening several cans of worms at once.

To answer your first question, yes, they do think we are stupid.  To a certain extent, they are right, but I think the more appropriate word is 'ignorant,' which suggests at its root that we ignore/look the other way when it comes to a lot of important things.  In my own experience, I used to think that if Hollywood would produce quality entertainment, people would flock to it, but I've found that most people just want mindless pablum and escapist schlock.

In my travels, I've found repeatedly that most people don't have a care outside their neighborhood, much less global or universal concerns.  It's enough for them to feed their families every day and worry about rain or lack thereof.  Wind and sea currents propagating radioactive elements across the globe are beyond their scope of immediate problems.  Heck, I could introduce you to a dozen people of my acquaintance that live on $5 a day.  The other day, I bought a piece of furniture and after assembling it, I took the box out for trash.  I hadn't even set it down when an old man asked if he could have it.  My box was his furniture.  He just landed a new bed!

Those are the vast majority of people, whose cares can not extend beyond the immediate need.  Of the remainder, most are willfully ignorant.  It's easy to lay the blame on media and public education as failing to raise us above the symptoms to see the causes, but I think we all bear a large responsibility to use the skills and talents we have been given to educate ourselves, by asking the appropriate questions and seeking the correct answers.  If, in March, the worst nuclear disaster ever occured (and is ongoing), and by November, folks are detecting unusual radioactive elements around the world at the same latititudes, then WE are responsible for making the connection and then doing something about it.  The corporations and their mouthpieces will do all they can to limit liability, just as with BP.  If they can delay the 'eureka' moments long enough, then most people will forget about the initial problem, as they go about their daily grinds.

And honestly, it seems to work like a charm, except for the few dozen of us who can think a single thought longer than the span of a commercial.  We are marginalized as loons and tin-foilers by the mass media, and the average Joe naturally doesn't want anyone to think he's crazy, so he avoids such people and thoughts.

Because Fukishima has been buried in the mass media, and people who look for conspiracies in such things are marginalized, and most people don't personally investigate such things further than the first 60 seconds of the nightly newscast, most will never make the association between European radiation and Japanese reactors.  Those who inadvertently wander into such territory will run away as quickly as they can because they don't wnat to be marginalized.  Think of how many people became violently angry if someone suggested 9/11 was a set-up.  And how many folks voted for Obama because they didn't want to be labeled racist or stupid?  People will do ANYTHING to appear normal and follow the group mind.

This kind of willful ignorance is unforgivable, to my mind.  That folks refuse to entertain alternative ideas because they are weak and insecure have no excuse.  Even claiming that they are indoctrinated by mass media and education at some level requires capitulation on the part of the individual.

To paraphrase Mark Twain, if everyone is going in one direction, you should go in the other.  I first read that when I was in seventh or eighth grade, and it has stuck with me for life.  It has also rarely failed me, as eventually, folks come around, but by them I'm off on another tangent entirely.

Try to explain to someone that Fukishima caused the European raditation with wind and sea current charts and their eyes will glaze over in five seconds flat.  Yet, it clearly shows that radiation in Norway and Sweden is predictable, given the wind currents at that latitude.  Baffin Island should be rather 'hot', as well, if someone were up there checking.

Eventually, people 'get it', but it takes folks like us talking about it for years for it to sink in.  Occasionally, it helps if an 'expert' comes out and confirms it, like the whole global warming farce.  But we usually aren't that lucky.

As for NASA, there's a group inside that has been communicating visually for many years.  Releasing images that create links in people's mind between disparate subjects is just one of their techniques.  I missed the image you're talking about, but it seems in keeping with their doings.  Wouldn't surprise me in the least.  I'm still debating whether it happens at the highest ranks, or whether it is clever apparatchiks doing it under the radar, but it can sometimes be rather amusing to look under NASA's skirt.  Hoagland thinks it's part of an ongoing educational effort, I think it's to see who 'gets it,' and tag them for later treatment (half kidding).

At any rate, you're not alone out there.  There are plenty of us raging against the machine.
As you can see, we have a habit of being all too terse and abbreviated in our responses, but we will not apologize!

Needless to say, I'm far more willing to buy the Fukishima cause, before considering sweaty, defecating patients.  For one thing, size of the source is far too small.

One thing is clear.  BP causing Oklahoma earthquakes and TEPCO causing the irradiation of the northern hemisphere means that corporations have far too much power and lack of responsibility.  The only argument in their favor is that they can't possibly pay reparations for damage to the Earth on such massive scales.  They can, however, be treated like any other mass murderer and be marched to the figurative gallows and summarily executed and their net worths divvied up and given out as partial repayment for the sufferering and death they have caused, both now and far into the future.  No, it's not justice, but it is a start.  It it could be done to EG Farben after World War II, then it can be done in these cases.  It should also be causing a mass reconsideration of how much leash we give to such creatures.

Since none of these things are happening, one can only assume that the global population doesn't care about being erradicated by a bunch of greedy board members.

Que sera!

In the meantime, Clif High's latest interview is out.  Many thanks to the Bali Bureau for passing on the link.  It seems that what we are unwilling to clean up, the Universe will take care of for us.  The problem is, It is less concerned about collateral damage than we are, and given that we don't care at all, that's saying quite a bit.

Stand by for transmissions from the Far Side!

Physics And The Art Of Sun Tea

Going to show my age here, but what the hell?

Remember going to the five-n-dime as a kid and buying those balsa wood airplanes?  The ones with the big rubber band that made the propeller spin.  After you destroyed the plane, you could use the rubber band to snap your brother on the rump.  OK, hold that thought.

Now, for those who think that the sun has no influence on Earth’s climate, which if you listen to NASA you might, let’s do a couple of experiments.

First, get a big glass jar with a lid and fill it with water.  You’ll want to start this in the morning.  Put a couple of those big tea bags inside and seal it.  Now, place it in a nice sunny spot while we go off on some adventures.

Next, we climb aboard the new LFS private jet.  You know, the new Airbus transparent plane that would make Wonder Woman green with envy.  Now that we’re at cruising altitude, you’ll notice that we occasionally run into some turbulence, where the plane bounces up and down.  That’s because, as the sun warms the surface of the Earth for 12 hours a day, the surface air warms and starts to rise.  As it does, it creates a vacuum that’s filled with cold air from higher altitudes sinking.  This creates a convection current.  That one we just flew through is only one of thousands all across the sun-facing side of the Earth.  Those currents, among other things, create wind, which we use to fly balsa wood airplanes and kites.

OK, now we’re landed in Chile, despite the dire warnings about volcanic ash.  I want you to run back to the toilet and flush.  That’s all, just flush.  Notice how that pretty blue liquid swirls around in a clockwise direction?  Great!  Now we’ll head back north.  Good, now here in Europe, where the entire EU is collapsing before our eyes, I want you to run back and flush again.  Notice how the blue stuff swirls in a counter-clockwise direction?  Excellent!

That’s called the Coriolis Effect.  It’s what causes ocean currents and north-south trains to wear one side of the tracks more than the other.  It drives cyclones and anti-cyclones alike.
So, now we come back to the house and check on the tea.  It’s not finished yet, but notice how the dark tea is sliding down one side of the jar, while the clear water is climbing up the other side.  And since we’re on the equator here at LFS world headquarters, go ahead and flush the toilet one more time.  Did you see that?  The water went straight down without swirling at all.

See?  This physics stuff is really fun, isn’t it?
Why all this running around and making tea?  Because, what happens is the sun warms both the air and the oceans, causing convection currents.  Then, the Coriolis effect creates streams like the Gulf Stream current in the North Atlantic and the jet stream in the upper atmosphere.  Those streams carry the sun’s energy, in the form of heat, and distribute it around the globe in a fairly even way, so that we all experience a pretty narrow range of temperatures across the face of the Earth.

The Gulf Stream swirls around the Gulf of Mexico, picking up the nice warm water, and then carries across the Atlantic, where it releases the heat when the current slams into the west coast of Europe.  Though it’s not a lot, it’s enough to keep the permafrost out of the Queen’s Wheaties.

Back to our rubber band airplane.  Go ahead, wind it up.  Watch the rubber band as you go.  It twists up more and more, getting tighter and tighter, then…POP!  It gets one of those big knots in it, then another and another.

The ends of the rubber band are the north and south poles of the sun.  As the sun spins, its magnetic field gets wound up tighter and tighter, until…POP!  A sunspot appears, then another and another.  This goes on for about 11 years until the magnetic field turns completely inside out, and the poles reverse, clearing all the stress in the system, until the next cycle begins.  Just like letting go of the propeller on our plane and letting the stored energy out of the rubber band.  After roughly 22 years, the poles have reversed twice, so that north is back at north again.

For the past 20 or 30 years, the sun has been wildly active, spewing out tons of plasma and radiation, called coronal mass ejections, or CMEs.  They carry huge amounts of energy at blinding speed out to the far reaches of the solar system.  As a consequence of this very active period, there has been global warming on virtually every planet in the solar system.

The oxygen levels have jumped in Venus’ atmosphere.  Mars’ polar caps have been receding at an alarming rate.  Huge new storms have appeared on Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.  Even Pluto’s rather thin atmosphere, which at this point in its orbit usually freezes and falls to the ground, is still hanging in there.

On Earth, we’ve noted some warmer general temperatures, some polar melting and more powerful and frequent storms.  Algore and the Alarmists have tried their damnedest to convince us that it’s our fault, so they could tax us for carbon, which they don’t seem to notice is what life itself is made on, at least on Earth.  Or maybe they did notice, and the whole point was to put a tax on the biosphere itself.  Also, 0.039% of our atmosphere is carbon dioxide, so a fraction of a percent here of there really doesn’t make a whole lot of difference.  Mars’ atmosphere is 95% carbon dioxide, and it’s damn cold.  So Algore can jump off a cliff.

Anyway, I digress…

The other day, NASA came out with an announcement that there are signs the sun’s magnetic poles may not turn inside out this time around.  In fact, the whole cycle may slip into neutral for a while, if all the data points are right.  In fact, there are three discreet signs that all point towards a less active period for the sun, and that’s not good.  “Scientists” are saying it could even be the beginning of another Maunder Minimum.
Between the years 1650 and 1700, the sun spot cycle (knots in the rubber band) came to a screaming halt.  What does this concern us?  Well, it seems that the Maunder, Sporer and Wolf minima have corresponded perfectly with a drop in the global average temperature.  Also, the recently passed active period, as well as past maxima have lined up perfectly with generally warmer phases in global temperatures.

At the time of the Maunder Minimum, there was a phenomenon known as The Little Ice Age, which came directly on the heels of the Medieval Warm Period.  In other words, an extended period of increased sunspots corresponded with warmer global temperatures, followed by a period of almost no sunspots, when Europe, Russia and North America experienced incredibly cold, long winters.

Many spots=palm trees in England and record harvests, no spots=famine and freezing to death
Algore can take a hike at this point.  We don’t need him any more.  This is a pattern that has repeated throughout the past 400 years that records can be correlated.

If we are heading into a period of reduced solar activity, then the amount of heating on Earth will lead to cooler air and oceans.  That, in turn, will slow down the convection and ocean currents, which will cause overall colder temperatures, reduced harvests and greater reliance on fuels, such as petroleum, to keep warm…at least until you die of starvation.

It would also cause the El Niño/La Niña cycle, which is basically warm water sloshing back and forth between Asia and South America, to slow, and even stop.  This would cause devastating droughts in some areas, and equally nasty flooding in others.

If the sun does indeed quiet down, and especially if it reaches the extremes recorded during the Maunder Minimum, then we could be in deep trouble.

One of the biggest fallacies of the whole global warming farce was that we would all bake to death.  First of all, warmer temps would have caused more evaporation from the oceans and poles, which would have increased rainfall and the amount of fresh water available.  It would have also increased harvests and gone a long way to restoring rain forests.  All beneficial to life as we know it.  People don’t catch colds when it warm, right?

On the other hand, if we head into a mini ice age, food production will drop, overall humidity will decrease, more fresh water will get locked up as polar ice, and it will take vastly more energy to keep warm.

What are some of the proposed causes of the Mini Ice Age?
“Several causes have been proposed: cyclical lows in solar radiation, heightened volcanic activity, changes in the ocean circulation, an inherent variability in global climate, or decreases in the human population.” – Wikipedia, The Little Ice Age

Ocean currents, sunspots, volcanoes, and…decreased human population?!  You mean all this crazy talk about reducing the population could actually cause the world to freeze in the dark?  Hahahahaha!  What a bunch of loonies those warmists are.

Let’s try another thought experiment here.  Suppose we have the technology and research to lead us to believe that another mini ice age (or worse) is coming.  How would we react, given unlimited resources to make it happen?

First, we would need to store up supplies, like seed, food and other necessities.  Then, we would set out to lock up as much oil as we could get our hands on, even if it meant starting a half-dozen wars and crashing the economy in the process.  We would have to distract the masses by making them look in the wrong direction so they wouldn’t compete with our preparations, or panic in the streets.
The Little Ice Age by anthropology professor Brian Fagan of the University of California at Santa Barbara, tells of the plight of European peasants during the 1300 to 1850 chill: famines, hypothermia, bread riots, and the rise of despotic leaders brutalizing an increasingly dispirited peasantry. In the late 17th century, writes Fagan, agriculture had dropped off so dramatically that "Alpine villagers lived on bread made from ground nutshells mixed with barley and oat flour." [33] Historian Wolfgang Behringer has linked intensive witch-hunting episodes in Europe to agricultural failures during the Little Ice Age.” – Wikipedia, Little Ice Age

Sound familiar?

On the other hand, the Medieval Warm Period went hand-in-hand with the Great Age of Exploration, the Renaissance and some of the most enlightened social and political thinking our civilization has every produced.

Little Ice Age=starvation/death/despotism, Medieval Warm Period=Renaissance/exploration/expansion

I’m just sayin’…

Wow!  That tea is hot, just from the sun’s rays!  Here, let me add a little sugar and some ice, and…VIOLA!  Some delicious physics!  Don’t worry, Algore and the Warmidiots tell us the sun has nothing to do with our climate, and by extension, our civilization.  So, just relax, drink your sun tea and rest assured that everything is j-u-s-t-f-i-n-e.

See you next time!  And don’t get sun burn!
----------
As an aside, if you want to study ocean currents, you need to drop markers of some sort into the water.  Color dye is one way, but is hard to see, when the background is completely black.  The best way is to use radioactive or chemical markers that can easily be traced, even by remote satellite.

What's this?!  Last year, BP dumped millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf Stream, and this year, Fukushima is dumping untold millions of gallons of radioactive water into one of the key northern Pacific currents.

Hmmm...now if you can dump these markers into the water and call them accidents, so that you can get around things like the EPA, wouldn't that be helpful?  And we can map these currents long-term to see how they are changing as the sun's output decreases.

Just a thought...

Gore'd Again!

That's it! I've had it!

I am finally, completely and entirely fed up with AlGore, Inc.

I can't even stand the sight of the lying, greedy bastard.

Here's a man who took false data, made a completely bullshit movie of his pandering lectures, that was completely self-serving, and parleyed that into an Academy Award and a Nobel Prize. Hell, between AlGore, Inc., and Obama, the Nobel thing has shown itself to be a complete scam, but that's a different article.

AlGore, Inc., comes from yet another American political dynasty, whose family made their fortune off of moonshine and fleecing taxpayers, lives in a massive mansion, owns several other huge houses, a fleet of cars, and travels around the world in private jets telling us 'little useless eaters' to stop taking hot baths. F@#% YOU!

Now he's brought his little roadshow to Jakarta for three days where, get this, he will lower himself to conduct a training session for...wait for it...TEN MINUTES. That's right, he will come down from his throne for ten whole minutes to train 300 people on what he claims is a highly complex issue. Hell, it takes me more than 10 minutes to write this scathing article about his bullshit!

I guess he will spend the rest of the three days warming up his jet while kissing and hugging a tree somewhere. If one of the space-faring nations wanted to do the world a great service, they would can this duplicitous, fear-mongering LIAR and shoot him as far into the Universe as modern rocketry will allow.

Not only is AlGore, Inc., a liar and a hypocrite, he is STILL pedaling his snake oil after being completely exposed by ClimateGate. It's truly an amazing piece of propaganda to see the way he has been carefully protected by the media and other 'interests.'

And what really gets my goat is that the poor kids in this country are still taught that humans are changing the climate to destroy the world, even though the whole GlobalWarming/ClimateChange/AlGore, Inc. farce was exposed as a complete fabrication. Even though carbon levels have been much higher long before humans could have affected the climate. Even though warm periods and ice ages are much older than our pitiful little 100 years of cars and coal-fired electric plants.

The Indonesian media have carefully hidden the whole ClimateGate issue because the government and politicians stand to make billions of dollars in bribes and pay-offs to be a 'carbon-eating' nation, due to its having a bunch of trees.

Oh, sure...AlGore, Inc., will spend a few of his precious seconds imparting his wisdom to a handfull of useful idiots, but his real mission is to meet secretly with government ministers, and possibly the president, to hand out checks and promises of vast wealth for the Chosen Few who go along with the outrageous scam. He will show them how to trade their carbon credits for huge profits.

What an enormous scam!

If humans are modifying the climate, it is being done by secret military/inductrial/banking cabals using scalar physics to weaponize the climate and weather, while at the same time finally being able to tax us to f@#%ing breathe! It has absolutely NOTHING to do with cow farts, your car and coral reefs.

It has everything to do with solar output, natural cycles and transiting the galactic ecliptic. If it had anything at all to do with carbon dioxide, then AlGore, Inc., himself would be one of the most egrigious offenders, what with his constantly flapping jawbone.

How anyone, except an elite few who stand to stuff their pockets with loot, could take AlGore, Inc., seriously is beyond me. Anyone who claims to be intelligent and agrees with AlGore, Inc., in the same breath is suffering from serious cognitive dissonance.

If AlGore, Inc., was a true believer, then he would...

BE SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER AT BRITISH PETROLEUM!

But where has AlGore, Inc., been during the whole Gulf of Mexico BRITISH Petroleum fiasco? Giving 10 minute training sessions in Jakarta and meeting with ministers to show how they can stuff their pockets if they just play along with the scam. He sure as HELL hasn't gone down the the Gulf of Mexico or demanded UN hearings into the BRITISH Petroleum spill or made award-winning films exposing the truth about that little incident, has he?

No, you see AlGore, Inc., receives lots of 'grant' money from BRITISH Petroleum to shut him up. That way, BRITISH Petroleum, whose refineries have killed dozens of Texans, whose drilling has killed untold numbers of people and wiped out eco-systems across the planet, can avoid any nasty attention from such a prominent crusader for the planet.

IT'S ALL A SCAM!

I'm all for solving real problems with real solutions. If the current solar cycle and our transit of the galactic equator are causing problems then show real evidence and present real solutions. But taxing humans for beathing and cows for farting so that mega-corporations can trade carbon credits and make billions of dollars, while lying, duplicitous shills like AlGore, Inc., can run around selling snake oil is a load of carbon-releasing cow dung.

I am absolutely fed up with elitist arschlochs running around telling us that we, the real and productive people of the planet, are the problem. It's time to pull the plug on those jerks, and fast. AlGore, Inc., should be ashamed to show his face in public by this point, not shuttling around the world in his private transportation fleet, from mansion to mansion, telling us how we are the problem, while sharing 10 minutes of his precious time to train 300 people on what he claims is one of the biggest and most complex problems ever to face humanity.

IF IT WERE SUCH A BIG DEAL, ALGORE, DON'T YOU THINK IT WOULD TAKE, WHAT?, MAYBE 20 MINUTES TO TRAIN THE TROOPS?

What a load of bunkus.

And while we're at it, BRITISH Petroleum should be foreced to change its cute little green leaves and sunshine logo into a black wreath of mourning for all the damage it has done to the planet.

Back during the Mayan empire, the elite used to carve out the still-beating hearts of the little people as 'sacrifice' to the gods, but really it was just a control mechanism to keep the 'useless eaters' in line.

Apparently, things haven't changed much since then.

Have they, AlGore, Inc.?

24.12.10

"Will I Get To Kill The English?"

The great line, spoken by the Irish character Stephen in Mel Gibson's seminal masterpiece "Braveheart" (which happens to be the meaning of my name), speaks volumes. That Mel has been persecuted by the monarchy, through their Zionist mouthpieces, is quite obvious, since a few of his films have decidedly anti-British themes. That Zionist are British tools is borne out by history. Don't believe me? Do your own research. I'm here to comment, not provide links to information most people won't read or won't believe anyway.

So what set me off this morning? An article in the Jakarta Post, which is little more than a distribution medium for PTB bullshit. That the newspaper has a join operating agreement with the International Herald Tribune, which itself is the multi-national propaganda arm of the New York Times, is your first clue.

Anyway, I could twist off on this for hours. The thing that set me off was a headline in the Jakarta Post: "Heathrow reopens but Dublin closed by snow."

Seems innocuous enough, right? But under the headline is a nifty little graphic with the title: "Why global warming makes the coldest winters."

That just pisses me off, and I mean that in the American sense, not the British.

The graphic comes from Reuters and is sourced to the Journal of Geophysical Research, which if anyone remembers, was thoroughly discredited by Climate-gate. The article has no by-line, just the tag Associated Press. So this is just a 'rip-and=run' piece that the editors rubber stamped with nary a critical eye, because it serves the PTB bullshit line. The fact that the article is unsourced tells me this is a press release from some unknown bullshit UN agency that has about as much 'research' behind it as my large intestine.

The article says that global warming causes the oceans to heat up, which melts the polar ice, which causes hot to rise and forces cold air to the ground. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I almost gagged on my coffee and nasi goreng. Somehow this process causes incredibly cold winters, but only in the northern hemisphere. For some reason, it works differently down-under.

There is no mention how for eons, the polar ice has melted every summer, or how the ice cap has actually expanded from 'traditional' regions in the winter. No mention about how the atmosphere has actually cooled for the last 15 years. No mention about how the oceans haven't warmed appreciably since records have been kept.

And no mention of the Gulf Stream current, which interestingly was fouled by the largest oil spill in history by who? Oh yeah, BRITISH Petroleum. Nor is there mention of how the Gulf Stream has gathered heat from the Gulf of Mexico and released it on the western coast of Ireland, where the hear has kept Ireland snow-free, and northern Europe reasonably free of major winter blasts for centuries.

Then BRITISH Petroleum completely bum-boogers the Gulf Stream in March of this year. It proceeds to use a chemical dispersant, produced by a company that it owns, to hide the oil rather than clean it up, as they could have done with some nifty little bacteria from a Texas company. The oil in turn prevented the Gulf waters from heating up normally in the summer, so that, lo and behold!, Europe has the coldest winter ever recorded, Ireland has severe snow-fall, and major winter storms are being reported all across the norther hemisphere.

Bloody BRITISH.

Amazingly, none of my students have ever heard of Climate-gate. Since Indonesia stands to make a lot of money in carbon-trading, the government blithly joins in the chorus of global warming. Since the country is bathed in forests, piles of NGOs are running around throwing millions of dollars ar conservation, even though no one mentions that trees respire carbon dioxide at nighttime (look it up). I spend as much time deprogramming my kids and teaching them to think critically, as I do teaching American English.

I am always amazed how people will swallow this rubbish simply because it comes from some 'authority,' when ten minutes' worth of reading will prove every word is a flat-out lie. And even when they read the truth, people have been so indoctinated that they can't imagine going against an 'authority,' and so default back to the bullshit. Even when the bullshit absolutely defies simple logic.

Hot air rises. Cold air sinks. Basic elementary science. That's why hot air balloons work. Yet, somehow, according to the simple-minded graphic is the Post today, is the cause of Europe's winter woes. Furthermore, it tries to hornswaggle us into believing that armer oceans, i.e. warmer Gulf Stream current, causes worse winter temperatures in Europe.

Do they really think we are THAT stupid? It just really chaps my hide when so-called 'authorities' talk down to me whith their brainless drivel, as if I am incapable of research and critical thinking. That may work in America, where everyone is fluoridated, anti-depressed and chemtrailed into a stupor, but thankfully, none of that here.

It's gratifying to see their faces when, as reading exercises, we look at articles and emails from so0called 'experts' who admit they lied, fudged and disembled. We read how the IPCC was forced to admit that Himalayan glaciers are advancing, not receding. We read how Greenpeace admitted that polar melts are part of a natural seasonal process. How trees give off as much CO2 as oxygen in their normal cycles, or how governments lie out of sheer greed.

These poor kids have been fed holf an argument for so long they honestly don't know there's another side to it. When I give them search strings to put into Google, you can hear the buzz in the room as first one, then another, start pulling up real information on their cell phones. It's why I'm in such demand as a teacher. I teach how to think, not what to think. I open up new lines of inquiry and show that the world is far more interesting and dangerous than the simplistic pablum they are fed from 'approved' cirricula. The sixth graders can't wait to get to seventh grade so they can have my classes. I even make learning a second language more than just grammar and vocabulary...it's an adventure!

When I was a kid, pre-Vatican II, the Catholic Church had a censorship board that marked books as OK for Catholics to read. At the beginning of such books, there was a page with the "Nihil Obstat," and "Imprimatur." In others words, 'nothing obstructing' and 'order to print.' These books were approved so that Catholics wouldn't have their little worlds shaken with real information. After Vatican II, that practice was done away with in favor of the IPCC, WWF, Greenpeace, et al., doing the same thing. Anything that doesn't tow the party line is forbidden to us rubes out here because we might start to question the PTB. That's not good. Can't have the serfs thinking for themselves.

You see, a bad education and no education are the same. Whether you are unable or unwilling to seek the truth, the result is the same. Illiterate and literate with blinders doesn't make a difference. Ignorance, whether willful or forced, has the same outcome.

It's just like the whole 'democracy' thing. My poor kids all spout democracy like it's some great thing. All it takes is five minutes to completely destroy that idea.

"Suppose," I say, "that tomorrow, more than half of all Indonesians became christian." You can see them trying to picture that one. "Now, since they are the majority, and everyone believes in democracy, they can make a law that no one can practice Islam ever again. Still sounds like a good idea?"

Suddenly, a republic looks much better.

"When everyone is running to the left, you might want to seriously consider going to the right," I say. "History shows that whatever the majority believes is probably wrong."

I usually get applause at the end of every class. Can't imagine why.

So, what all this comes back to is this: the Bastards are trying desparately to hold on to their carbon credits and to get control over the very breaths we take. They already charge us for water and energy, and they have a stranglehold on food. Now, if they can make us pay to breathe, then it sounds like we will owe every aspect of our lives to THEM. The BRITISH, Dutch and Roman church are behind it, just as they have been for centuries. Once an empire, always an empire. The Roman Empire survives in the Catholic Church. The BRITISH empire survives in the Commonwealth. The Dutch empire survives in the banking system. It's all still here, just gone stealth.

All it takes is about five minutes on Google with the right search string to completely destroy those empires and take back our God-given breath.

The next time you hear someone say something non-sensical, like global warming causes sever winters, tell them to Google "Gulf Stream current, location of BP oil spill." Cross-referencing the two, plus a quick read about the effects of the current should be enough to wake up all but the most zombified.

If Stephen were to ask me, "Will I get to kill the English?" I could reassure him that they've already done it to themselves, and they are taking the rest of Europe with them.

Bloody BRITISH.

BurP: Now What?

Leonard Horowitz and Sherry Kane Step In Some Truth

In case you're not up to date on the latest conspiracy slang, LIHOP means Let It Happen On Purpose, and MIHOP means Made It Happen On Purpose.

To review: the evil BP was drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) in about 10,000 feet of water in a block named Macando. They were leasing one of the most advanced deepwater rigs in the world from TransOean, and there were a number of sub-contractors on the rig to handle various aspects of operations, such as the Dynamic Positioning system, the drilling, mudding, casing, and so on. Such operations are at the bleeding edge of technology. The pressures and tensions involved in working in 2 miles of water depth are astounding. The weight of the drill string required incredibly powerful machines to grip and hold the pipe. The water pressures require the use of remote operated vehicles (ROVs) to keep a visual on the well-head, as well as manipulate various geer, since divers cannot go that deep. Huge thrusters are used to keep the rig stationed over the well, since anchors are impractical in water that deep.

There are many other considerations, but you get the idea that the people who operate out there are not dummies. They are highly trained and skilled technicians who are fully aware that if they make a mistake, it is most likely catastrophic.

The top man on the rig is the Company Man. There are two of them working in 12-hour shifts, overseeing all operations and approving every step of the process. The top guy on the Deepwater Horizon was one of the best inthe business, and he was pulled off the rig a couple of days before the disaster, during a critical phase of casing the well, or pumping cement down the hole and up the outside of the steel tube inserted into the well, to keep the hole from collapsing.

The process was under the control of a VERY well-known and respected contractor. They are in charge of the mix for the concrete and calculating the number of spacers that are inserted, and the flow rate, and a number of other variables involved. These are carefully calculated and nothing is left to chance. The contractor specified using over 100 spacers for the casing, because of the pressures involved and the geology of the well. Amazingly, the BP company man who had replaced the #1, who was pulled off to get some useless training landside, overrode the contractor and reduced the number of spacers to around 20.

Now I don't know about you, but when I hire experts to do something, I tend to listen to them.

The contractor was so alarmed by this action that they pulled their people off the rig the morning of the explosion with an unscheduled helicopter pick-up. Hours later, the well blew out, the rig sank and the rest is history...or is it?

You see, the damage is not yet finished and the well itself may still be spewing. We don't really know. Here's why...

During the capping operations to try to stop the well from dumping millions of gallons of oil into the GOM, a hurricane blew in. Following policies long established, all top-side operations stopped when the storm reached a certain distance, and crews and vessels were pulled back to port when the storm reached another 'line in the sand.'

Until that point, an ROV had been parked on the sea floor streaming video of the well head to the world via the internet. If you hunt around, you'll find pre-storm video feeds. Look carefully. Notice all the data on the screen. Find the latitude and longitude numbers and punch them into your GPS. Now, find video after the storm, when BP announced they had miraculously capped the well. Now note the lat/lons and punch those into your GPS. What do you notice?

Hmmmmmmmm...

Looks to me like they are different wells. Looked that way to Matt Simmons, too. Now you may recall that Simmons is, oops I mean was, one of the foremost commentators on the oil patch and was followed religiously by investors in the sector. Now he noticed a slight problem with the lat/lons on-screen. He did a little homework and found that the new coordinates matched a previous well, known as "Macando A", that BP had capped previously because it had become unstable and threatened to blow out.

Now you may not have heard Simmon's warnings. They were squelched by the media just days before he was 'heart-attacked' and 'drowned.'

Maybe you haven't noticed that the Company Man who was responsible for the spacer decision has 'taken the fifth' at the Gulf Hearings, conducted by the Crimin...I mean the Feral Gummint.

Skip ahead a bit.

The GOM is responsible for a lot of weather in the norther hemisphere. Ocean currents come up from the south and swirl around in the GOM for a while, where they get nice and warm. They then proceed up the east coast of North America and slide across the Atlantic, where they slam into the west coast of Ireland. This process, known as the Gulf Stream, releases enough heat to moderate the climate in Europe, which is why it rarely snows in Ireland and England, and places like Holland, France and Germany enjoy less-than-deadly winters, despite being a hair's breadth from the Arctic Circle.

Now, let's play a thought game. Suppose you were to squelch the release of heat from the Gulf Stream, or even modify it, with, oh I don't know, let's say OIL. That tiny bit of warming, enough to raise temps a degree or two, vanishes and what happens? Massive snow storms. Record low temperatures. Hundreds if not thousands die from the cold. Records that are centuries old fall.

Oh, and let's not forget that the GOM also provides enough warming in North America that it keeps deadly winters from striking there, as well. So, it that heat is trapped by, oh I don't know, let's say OIL, then what happens? How about blizzards, record lows, hundreds of deaths. Even Cancun, which is an island off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula at the southern most boundary of the GOM might experience record low temps during, oh I don't know, the Global Warming Conference, let's say.

If that were the case, and I'm not saying it could happen, then that would make BP directly and indirectly responsible for thousands of deaths on two continents, as well as global weather modification, destruction of incredibly sensitive habitats, and so on.

And all that would happen because the top Company Man was pulled off a rig days before a major blow-out caused by his replacement who ordered a highly respected contractor to reduce the number of spacers they had carefully calculated and which they claimed to have capped even though a respected analyst had noticed that the lat/lons were wrong shortly before he died an untimely death.

It's a darned good thing this is all just hypothetical. Otherwise I'd be tempted to say that this was a MIHOP terrorist event on a scale that makes 9/11, 7/7 and Mumbai pale by comparason. And then I'd have to look over my shoulder all the time to make sure I didn't get 'heart-attacked.'

It could never happen, right?

Just in case you're wondering how some goombah living in Indonesia could know all this, well...in my past llfe I worked for 10 years in offshore construction as a marketing and business development specialist. I know a lot of people who know things about this mess.

Nuff said.

BurP- A Case of Gas

In the history of bad ideas, this one is probably the single worst idea ever.

To appreciate what's going on here, you need to understand the situation. First of all, the geology. There is a vast lake of oil in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) that has been tapped for decades by the myriad wells that are currently in place. However, those wells have only been hitting small pockets at relatively shallow levels. Think of a lava lamp with small blobs of oil rising up off the mother lode at the bottom. Until now, it has been impossible to tap the larger source because the technology to reach depths of 10,000 feet of water did not exist. There was no way to build a platform, for one thing, no way to get divers to the well-head, and the pressures are beyond imagination at those depths. The Deepwater Horizon was a unique and cutting-edge vessel that used powerful thrusters to maintain its position and robots (ROVs) to remotely service the well-head. All the equipment involved was at the bleeding edge of technology. So when BP cut costs on blow-out preventers and well-bore constuction, they slit their own throats.

Now, this vast lake of oil sits on top of a balloon of methane that was kept in check by the pressure of the oil and geology on top of it. The amount of methane is not precisely known, but it is under very high pressure and only the weight bearing down on it has kept it from spewing out. As a consequence, the oil is also under tremendous pressure and when BP tapped the mother lode, it essentially put a small crack in the dam. Because they did not take maximum precautions, the pressure blew out the well-bore and ultimately sank the vessel. In the process, the well casing was damaged, allowing high-pressure oil and gas to escape the well-bore and seep into the surrounding rock. By itself, that has caused damage to the surrounding geology, allowing the oil and gas to erode the rock and thus making the well uncontrollable. Any attempts to stop the flow have only caused more oil and gas to invade the surrounding rock and further erode it making a dangerous situation into an emergency of the highest order.

As the rock around the well-bore erodes, more and more pressure is released and the flow rate increases over time. Ultimately, enough pressure will be relieved that the methane will no longer be kept in check and will release explosively through the overlying strata in a cataclysm the likes of which have never been witnessed. The water will lose buoyancy causing all vessels to sink instantly. The resulting gas cloud would be highly toxic and kill pretty much everything it touches for hundreds of miles around. The oil that is released will poison most of the Earth's oceans for a minimum of several decades. The coastal areas will be uninhabitable and the GOM will be unusable for food or recreation.

Using a nuke to try and seal the well-head will most likely have the opposite effect. It will further erode the geology and cause multiple fractures to form, which in turn will allow more oil and gas to escape through a far wider area, thus hastening the inevitable explosive release. Given the worst-case scenario, the current situation, as bad as it is, if far more preferable until a fully reasoned and carefully crafted response can be assembled. There is a tremdous amount of pressure politically to "do something," but because neither BP nor the Feds are being forthright about the situation, most people do not understand what is going on. Cauterizing the well might seem like a really good idea, until you consider all of the consequences. It's a choice between the worst oil spill in history, or an extinction-level event.

It's a classic case of the devil you know versus the devil you don't.

Bammy-Bots Untie!

Bammy Revives Cap n Trade
Bammy Wants Clean Energy
Bammy Calls Oil Spill New 9/11
Bammy Drives Merica Into the Dirt

Merica finally has what it deserves, what its public schools have spent so long trying to create: The Articulate Idiot.

Yes, folks, it walks, it talks, it makes smooth sounds...but what is happening between the ears turns Eisteinian space-time on it head. It is so warped that not even a black hole can escape the profound singularity of stupidity. The gravitational pull of this level of idiocy is sucking the entire world down with it, and yet, there are still people who look to this perverse clown for hope and change.

Dubya was a mouth breathing, knuckle dragging cretin, but Bammy is a new class of stupid. Future generations, if we are lucky enough to have any after this joker is finished, will need a new word to describe this kind of suave meat-puppet.

Just glancing at the headlines linked above should be enough to make you throw up your hands and give up. There's nothing left to fight for, if this is the quality of leader Merica puts up. I mean, with an extinction level event happening in the backyard, Bammy wants to revive Cap-n-Trade, push for clean energy and compare the problem to 9/11. We should all be clapping our hands against our foreheads in sheer amazement that someone this vacuous even has involuntary biological functions.

So, without further ado, let's look at some of Bammy's "ideas":

Revive Cap-n-Trade Legislation
This onerous pile of claptrap, carried to its logical conclusion, would seek to limit procreation (we are carbon-based life forms), regulate respiration (we exhale carbon dioxide), create carbon poker chips, and give the banksters a new game of chance in the hopes of keeping the market/casino alive. Hell, Mars' atmosphere is more than 90% carbon dioxide, but I don't hear anyone arguing that planet is in imminent danger of overheating. Furthermore, the whole thing is premised on a now-defunct theory that was shown to be a scam by Climategate. Exactly how this will stop and remediate the worst environmental disaster in recorded history is not presented to us, but it does push some emotional hot buttons that the media have spent years installing and propagandizing. In other words, this is a classic misdirection gambit.

Push For Clean Energy
Great. Bammy wants to implements a policy, which might lead to legislation, which could create incentives to possibly push research, which could produce new clean energy sources, which might be adopted by the general public. Based on years worth of observation, I estimate this solution to take about 40-50 years to have an effect. Meanwhile, the oil is spewing into the ocean NOW. Next...

Oil Spill Is Like 9/11
So let me get this straight...Bammy is saying that BP are terrorists that have been aided and abetted by factions of the federal government to create this disaster in order to achieve certain long-term socio-economic goals? Or is he pushing emotional hot buttons again so that we won't look behind his curtain and see what an inept buffoon he is? I mean, come on...a hydrocarbon volcano 3,000 meters below the surface, belching tons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico daily is not the same as imploding a couple of Manhattan buildings and calling it terrorism. Not by a long shot. At best, this spill will cause mass re-locations and the condemnation of large swaths of coastal lands and sensitive habitats for decades to come. At worst, we will all be dead in about 10-20 years. And this compares in what way with the deliberate destruction of three buildings in Hew York City, that barely a decade later only affects the lives of the inhabitants and soldiers dying in illegal wars of aggression in far off lands. Nope, sorry Bammy, ain't buyin' it. Back to the drawing board. You do know what a drawing board is, right? Good little Bammy.

This nincompoop actually thinks we are stupid enough to buy this load of crap. On the other hand, the Merican people DID elect the swine. Perhaps when I finish my preparations for TEOTWAWKI, I'll take a minute to laugh and say, "I told you so." Bammy's enough to make me miss Nixon. At least Nixon was a genuine intellectual. Bammy was elected because he could read a prompter after several hours of practice and pronounce big words on cue. Not exactly the curriculum vitae of a deep thinker.

If Bammy was a leader, he would have galvanized the population into action, directed resources efficiently, applied overkill efforts, and all within the first week. We're now rounding the second month, he just met with the chairman of BP, plays golf daily, and pushes hot buttons and propagandizes in lieu of constructive mobilization. Either he is so dense that he doesn't know a planet-killing disaster when he sees one, or he is purposefully bungling the mop-up at the behest of the real leadership of Merica. Neither option is particularly palatable.

Meanwhile, an enormous cloud of oil is rounding Florida and will soon foul the Atlantic and then Europe. In a few years, it will cover West Africa and head for India. With this level of disaster, why are we wasting time and effort on Cap-n-Trade and comparisons to past criminal acts? The time for worrying about clean energy sources was decades ago. But, let's not gum up the discussion with simple facts, shall we? Keep the rubes distracted and they won't notice the planet dying. Nothing like sounds policy and action, I always say.

My colleague, George Ure, over at UrbanSurvival, makes an excellent point. Once the coastal areas are fouled and uninhabitable, all those people will go somewhere else, and when they do, they will stop paying the mortgages on those properties. Let's add that up, shall we? Mass displacement of people+gross devaluation of formerly recreational properties+large scale collapse of economic sectors=Oops!

So, immediate destruction of some great recreational real estate, followed by the irreversible loss of wildlife habitats, followed by a global underwater death cloud, followed by collapse of the food chain, followed by mass extinction.

Check, check, check. Yup, pass the Cap-n-Trade and catch ya at the 19th hole, Bammy. The man's like Swiss cheese, no matter how you slice him, he's still full of holes.

So long and thanks for all the fish.
