OK, Now You Can Panic

Update: And you thought I was kidding about the whole 'rock' thing, right?

Can you just feel the apocalyptic frenzy building?  Indulge me for a moment in what Joseph Farrell calls "high-octane speculation".

Old Benny the Sixteenth has announced his resignation and now the speculation begins.  Who will be Petrus Romanus?  And when, exactly, will the world end?

If you've been under a rock (pun intended) for the past 500 years, the End of the World is at hand!  Finally, an apocalypse we can sink our teeth into!  This ain't no Mayan calendar thing, this one involves the credibility of the Vatican, no less.  So it has to be real, right?

OK, I'll slow down a bit and go through this one step at a time.

Back in 1139, an Irish bishop by the name of Malachy was summoned to Rome to visit with the then pope whose name was Innocent the Second (great name, eh?)  Malachy was struck with a vision while in Rome and later scribbled down a list of popes until the end of...time?  He gave the list to Innocent II, who duly filed it in the archives where it languished until 1590, and its subsequent publication.

Or this could all be bullshit.

Seems the Roman Church disavows the document, though not very strenuously, especially since it was the Roman Church who published it in the first place.  They could have let it rot in the archives, if the story is true, right?  And there does seem to be some circumstantial evidence that the Roman Church has gone out of its way to fulfill the prophesy.

At any rate, like all prophesies, it is written in a kind of code.  It never comes right out and gives definitive names or dates.  Rather it is a list of short phrases that describe some aspect of the popes.

For example, John Paul II was supposedly described as de labore solis, or 'labor of the sun'.  He was born and buried during solar eclipses.  John Paul I was called de mediatate lunae, or 'from the middle of the moon'.  He was seated when the Moon was waxing quarter and died one month later.  Benedict XVI is supposedly gloria olivae, or 'glory of the olive'.

This last one is a good place to start.  A lot of folks speculated that this pope would be a member of the Benedictine order, whose crest bears an olive branch, and who have a branch of the order called the Olivetans after the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.  In fact, Benny was not a member of this order, yet he chose the name Benedict, who was the ffounder of the Benedictines (obviously).  Benny could have chosen any of hundreds of names, but for no particular reason picked Benedict.  Obviously, he is aware of the Malachy prophesy and probably wanted some connection to the list.

John Paul II could easily have been elected because he was born during an eclipse, and had the good sense to die during one, as well.  In fact, he could have been pushed along the road to his eternal reward in order to time things just right, since eclipses can be predicted years in advance.

John Paul I could have easily been poisoned, as many people believe he was, in order to make sure he fulfilled the prophesy, as well.

In other words, if you have a 500-year plan to collapse society and it is published in the shady language of prophesy, it is quite easy to 'steer' events to make them fulfill the prophesy.  In fact, if you go through the list of popes for the last 200 years and see how they have been interpreted to fulfill Malachy's prophesy, you will find that it would be quite easy to select popes that meet the necessary requirements.  The same is true in more distant times, but the history becomes murkier and less easy to confirm.

Now, let's take a hard turn to the side and check out some other information.

Dr. Courtney Brown (see Far Side interview) and Clif High have both popularized the idea that there may be massive geological upheavals before June 1 of this year.  Accourding to Brown's remote viewers, there are craters and tsunamis in our future.  According to High, there are global coastal events and other fun things.

Now suppose they are right.  Suppose also that these things are caused by an asteroid or meteorite.  What would you expect to see in the actions of those 'in the know'?

Well, governments would start acting with increasing abandon.  Check.  Banksters would start calling in their chips and looking for a way into or off of the planet.  Check.  The Roman Church, having a massive astronomical infrastructure, would be working overtime to fulfull prophesy on time.  Check.  The PTB would be positioning themselves to take over what's left of civilization after an incident of this nature.  Check.

Now, how do we make the leap from Malachy to remote viewing and web bots?  Good question.  Let's take a look.

Malachy's prophesy says that the last pope will be Petrus Romanus, or 'Peter of Rome'.  Now, given the past, that doesn't mean his name will be Peter, it just means that there will be some connection along that line.  So, what does the name 'Peter' mean?  Well, it means 'stone' or 'rock', like petroglyph (rock writing).  An asteroid or meteor is a stone or rock from the sky.  OK, that's a tenuous connection, but hey, it's there.

Furthermore, Malachy's prophesy says:
"Peter the Roman, who will nourish the flock in many tribulations; when they [the tribulations - ed.] are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The end."
The city of 'seven hill' is Rome, of course.  Rome is a port city located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.  Brown and High both mention coastal events/tsunamis.  A water landing from a big space rock would cause massive coastal flooding.

See where I'm going with this?

Now, the Vatican has two things: a massive and very old library, and a well-respected astronomical observatory.  The former offers centuries of records, few of which are available to the public.  The latter offers round-the-clock observation of the heavens.

Could the resignation of Benny be predicated on advanced knowledge of an impact and the desire to fulfill prophesy?  Could the 'tribulations' be referring to widespread knowledge of impending doom?  Could 2012 DA14, the asteroid that is scheduled to miss Earth by a mere 15 minutes tomorrow, be a moonlet of a larger body?  Could the destruction of Rome in the prophesy be Brown's and High's coastal event, which Brown puts at or before June 1st (thus Bennys resignation two months prior)?

This is all wild-eyed speculation based on disavowed prophesies, remote viewing and web bot predicitons.  But it is rather interesting the convergence of a number of different lines of inquiry at a certain point in history.  I couldn't resist when 500-year-old prophesies, ESP research and modern linguistic algorithms all come together on a single point in time.

Benny could have chosen any other name and resigned at any other time.  Brown and High didn't have to come to very similar conclusions using very different technologies centered on very close timelines.  The world's power elite didn't have to act in such desperation at just this time in history.  And Malachy's (or whoever's) prophesy didn't have to come to a head just now.

But they did.

And they did with 2012 DA14 and two major comets scheduled to appear in the heavens this year (see history of comets and their interpretations).  It's hard for us to remember now, but when Halley's comet came 'round in 1910, there was global panic because the Earth was going to pass through the tail of the comet.

My great aunt Laetitia was 12 years old when Halley came around in 1910.  She told the story on herself that her mother beckoned her to "pray Laetitia, pray!"  Her response was, "Well, if the world is going to end, why do we need to pray?"

I'm of the same opinion.  Nevertheless, I am intrigued by the synchronicity of these things.  Often the way to read the future is to see the connections in the present, and the headlines are full of connections.  Also, I suspect that the Y2K and Mayan calendar scares were social conditioning events.  I have always suspected that when the real thing came, there would be no advanced warning from the 'authorities', but that their actions would tell a story in themselves.

And hereby hangs a tale.

A word of advice?  Pray Laetitia, pray!

PS- Did I mention that Benny used the name Peter twice in his resignation speech?  Stick that in your speculation pipe and ponder it.

Sliding Doors

I don't know if you've been following the work of Clif High and his Web Bot Project at halfpasthuman.com.  I've been reading the output since 2002, and I have found them to be rather prescient, though not always as advertised.

One of the major events that have shown up repeatedly over the past several years is something Clif calls the Data Gap.  In the past year, he has narrowed the timing for this event down to this spring, with the leading edge showing up around next week or so.

In a nutshell, the Data Gap is a massive turning point in human history, after which life will not be the same for at least half a dozen years (as far as the bots can read out, in other words).  It's enough to have spooked Clif and his commentaries have taken a darker turn.

Certainly, scanning the news headlines this past week would lead one to conclude that such a thing is entirely possible.  Oil and gold prices have shot up, with $6/gallon gasoline a distinct possibility in the States before long.  The saber-rattling over Iran and Syria has significantly ramped up.  The recent US presidential debate took a decidedly nasty turn, though not all that unusual in what passes as public discourse in that country.  The world in general is polarizing  Over all, we can see a fair increase in the amount of tension building at every level.

Whitney Houston died and people got rather testy over who sat where and was allowed in to the memorial service.  Sacha Baron Cohen was banned from the Oscars.  A two-bit actor admitted tooting blow at a White House function.  The Occupiers are threatening armed marches on Wall Street.  Anonymous is making its presence felt at a great number of websites.  Rense and Makow are at each other's throats.  Labor unrest is building in Indonesia.  Greek protests are getting more desperate.  Russia appears to be having some unrest in the ranks.  Germany is dealing with a neo-Nazi dust-up.

Everywhere you look, tensions are building, and this fits quite snugly with Clif's work, which shows a massive build-up to roughly March 1-9, with a blow-off top and roll into release language the likes of which our generation has never witnessed.  One can hardly debate that there are increasingly unsustainable emotional, economic, social, and political bubbles everywhere.  One can imagine them all popping more or less simultaneously, with life-changing consequences.

One thing I've learned about the Web Bots over the years is don't try to come up with a scenario to fit the language.  It is almost always wrong, even though the actual events fit perfectly with what was predicted.

For example, they predicted a maritime disaster a few years back, and while everyone was watching the shipping lanes, the space shuttle blew up over Texas.  The language had to do with ships and naval terms, which are commonly used in reference to space hardware, as well.

A recent example was language refering to a wreck of the ship of state and hints about Italy.  The cruise ship grounding filled all the descriptors, but folks were watching governments, having wrongly interpreted the variou terms that had come through.

So what will happen in the next couple of weeks.  Well, sorry to disappoint, but as I said, I've given up trying to predict what events will fill the bill.  One thing that can be speculated upon is that the language calls for massive release of tension worldwide involving natural, economic, political, social, and emotional releases.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that global events are ripe for something like this to happen.

Things that are implied by the bots include changes in the seas and coastal areas, events in space, earthquakes, an "Israeli mistake," disease epidemics, and the list goes on.  I give it about a 50-50 chance of being right, first because the bots are as much wrong as right (though in all fairness they get the big stuff right), second because timing is not one of the strong points of the web bots, and third because humans can make choices.

Back in 1998, a rather interesting movie came out called "Sliding Doors," with Gweneth Paltrow.  The premise was that a woman's life splits at a key moment that's as mundane as catching a train.  From there, the story splits and shows the outcomes of both catching and not catching a certain train.

The movie points out both the choices we make, and those made for us.  There are always choices.  Often people allow others to make their choices, because they are too lazy or frightened to make their own.

If we suspect impending disaster, we can choose to prepare or not.  When governments get out of hand, we can choose to resist or not.  When personal relationships become strenuous, we can choose to stay in them or get out.

Too often, we choose the devil we know, or the status quo.  For some reason, people fight change, though it is an intricate part of life in every aspect.  We get comfortable in our routines, no matter how absurd, because we've learned to deal with that particular set of variables.  Something new requires us to learn, adapt and adjust.  Most of us don't like that.

In a week or two, we may find that none of the familiar rules apply any more.  Every aspect of our routines will have changed, regardless of whether the new situation is good, bad or indifferent, and we won't like it.  Those who thrive in this kind of situation are the ones who give up the old way of thinking the fastest and look for new opportunities in the jumble of new variables.

When you think about it, 'preppers' are really those who are working the hardest to maintain the old way of doing things.  Rather than preparing to change, they are preparing to maintain.  This can cause people to be much slower at seeing and seizing new opportunities.

When change of the magnitude predicted by the web bots comes along, nothing of the old way of doing things will help in the new paradigm.  The best way to prepare for this kind of change is to let go and detach from current habits and needs, and start thinking along whole new avenues of possibilities.  Those prepared to let go the fastest and adjust to new currents are the ones most likely to come out on top.

Most important to survival is one's mental state.  Those who fear change have already lost the battle.  It's the normalcy bias that we've discussed at length here at LFS.  Most people will cling to what they know and resist change with all their might until it takes more resources than they have to fight it.  By the time these people give up and go with the flow, those who embraced the change are miles ahead.

Regardless of web bots, it is a foregone conclusion that the world is changing rapidly.  Almost nothing in the current regime can be sustained much longer.  We have built our pyramid upside down, and it won't be long before it teeters over and crushes those who are deperately trying to hold it up.

The true 'preppers' are walking away from this losing battle and looking for fresh direction and an expanded horizon.  We have entered an era of inevitable change, and those who recognize it and go with it first will be the ones who profit first.  The Chinese word for 'disaster' is composed of two characters meaning 'chaos' and 'opportunity'.

When it all comes crashing down, there are those who lament what has passed, and those who see raw materials for a fresh start.  The first direction leads to death, and the second to life.  Choose a path and start prepping.

A Cloud Of Unknowing

One of our many highly intelligent readers is banging the proverbial head against the figurative wall:
Hello B,
I came across this article that left me wondering what in the world is going on!
Riddle of the radiation sweeping across Europe: UN nuclear agency mystified by soaring levels
I have questions.  Seriously, if the amount of this radioactive iodine-131 is so small, why even mention it.
Did NASA release the images of the Tarantula Nebula in order to explain the radioactive iodine- 131 or did someone just see the description of the radiation and winds produced by this nebula and conveniently link it to the 'riddle of the radiation'.
How many patients pee and poo would it take to loft this radioactive iodine-131 into the atmosphere?  Does it become aerosolized when these patients flush the toilet?  Are they referring to the sweat that is 'excreted' by the patients that gets wafted into the air as they walk down the sidewalk?
I could go on, but I won't!  What do you think is up with this?  Why would they even bring it up?  Stuff like this makes me crazy!!
Being a man of few words, I briefly responded:
You have a rather intriguing way of opening several cans of worms at once.

To answer your first question, yes, they do think we are stupid.  To a certain extent, they are right, but I think the more appropriate word is 'ignorant,' which suggests at its root that we ignore/look the other way when it comes to a lot of important things.  In my own experience, I used to think that if Hollywood would produce quality entertainment, people would flock to it, but I've found that most people just want mindless pablum and escapist schlock.

In my travels, I've found repeatedly that most people don't have a care outside their neighborhood, much less global or universal concerns.  It's enough for them to feed their families every day and worry about rain or lack thereof.  Wind and sea currents propagating radioactive elements across the globe are beyond their scope of immediate problems.  Heck, I could introduce you to a dozen people of my acquaintance that live on $5 a day.  The other day, I bought a piece of furniture and after assembling it, I took the box out for trash.  I hadn't even set it down when an old man asked if he could have it.  My box was his furniture.  He just landed a new bed!

Those are the vast majority of people, whose cares can not extend beyond the immediate need.  Of the remainder, most are willfully ignorant.  It's easy to lay the blame on media and public education as failing to raise us above the symptoms to see the causes, but I think we all bear a large responsibility to use the skills and talents we have been given to educate ourselves, by asking the appropriate questions and seeking the correct answers.  If, in March, the worst nuclear disaster ever occured (and is ongoing), and by November, folks are detecting unusual radioactive elements around the world at the same latititudes, then WE are responsible for making the connection and then doing something about it.  The corporations and their mouthpieces will do all they can to limit liability, just as with BP.  If they can delay the 'eureka' moments long enough, then most people will forget about the initial problem, as they go about their daily grinds.

And honestly, it seems to work like a charm, except for the few dozen of us who can think a single thought longer than the span of a commercial.  We are marginalized as loons and tin-foilers by the mass media, and the average Joe naturally doesn't want anyone to think he's crazy, so he avoids such people and thoughts.

Because Fukishima has been buried in the mass media, and people who look for conspiracies in such things are marginalized, and most people don't personally investigate such things further than the first 60 seconds of the nightly newscast, most will never make the association between European radiation and Japanese reactors.  Those who inadvertently wander into such territory will run away as quickly as they can because they don't wnat to be marginalized.  Think of how many people became violently angry if someone suggested 9/11 was a set-up.  And how many folks voted for Obama because they didn't want to be labeled racist or stupid?  People will do ANYTHING to appear normal and follow the group mind.

This kind of willful ignorance is unforgivable, to my mind.  That folks refuse to entertain alternative ideas because they are weak and insecure have no excuse.  Even claiming that they are indoctrinated by mass media and education at some level requires capitulation on the part of the individual.

To paraphrase Mark Twain, if everyone is going in one direction, you should go in the other.  I first read that when I was in seventh or eighth grade, and it has stuck with me for life.  It has also rarely failed me, as eventually, folks come around, but by them I'm off on another tangent entirely.

Try to explain to someone that Fukishima caused the European raditation with wind and sea current charts and their eyes will glaze over in five seconds flat.  Yet, it clearly shows that radiation in Norway and Sweden is predictable, given the wind currents at that latitude.  Baffin Island should be rather 'hot', as well, if someone were up there checking.

Eventually, people 'get it', but it takes folks like us talking about it for years for it to sink in.  Occasionally, it helps if an 'expert' comes out and confirms it, like the whole global warming farce.  But we usually aren't that lucky.

As for NASA, there's a group inside that has been communicating visually for many years.  Releasing images that create links in people's mind between disparate subjects is just one of their techniques.  I missed the image you're talking about, but it seems in keeping with their doings.  Wouldn't surprise me in the least.  I'm still debating whether it happens at the highest ranks, or whether it is clever apparatchiks doing it under the radar, but it can sometimes be rather amusing to look under NASA's skirt.  Hoagland thinks it's part of an ongoing educational effort, I think it's to see who 'gets it,' and tag them for later treatment (half kidding).

At any rate, you're not alone out there.  There are plenty of us raging against the machine.
As you can see, we have a habit of being all too terse and abbreviated in our responses, but we will not apologize!

Needless to say, I'm far more willing to buy the Fukishima cause, before considering sweaty, defecating patients.  For one thing, size of the source is far too small.

One thing is clear.  BP causing Oklahoma earthquakes and TEPCO causing the irradiation of the northern hemisphere means that corporations have far too much power and lack of responsibility.  The only argument in their favor is that they can't possibly pay reparations for damage to the Earth on such massive scales.  They can, however, be treated like any other mass murderer and be marched to the figurative gallows and summarily executed and their net worths divvied up and given out as partial repayment for the sufferering and death they have caused, both now and far into the future.  No, it's not justice, but it is a start.  It it could be done to EG Farben after World War II, then it can be done in these cases.  It should also be causing a mass reconsideration of how much leash we give to such creatures.

Since none of these things are happening, one can only assume that the global population doesn't care about being erradicated by a bunch of greedy board members.

Que sera!

In the meantime, Clif High's latest interview is out.  Many thanks to the Bali Bureau for passing on the link.  It seems that what we are unwilling to clean up, the Universe will take care of for us.  The problem is, It is less concerned about collateral damage than we are, and given that we don't care at all, that's saying quite a bit.

Stand by for transmissions from the Far Side!

Embracing Insanity

There's so many significant things going on in the world today, it's hard to stay focused on anything.  The global auto industry is about to be brought to its knees by flooding in Thailand.  Jesse Ventura has vowed to leave the States and kick the dust from his shoes on the way out.  Fukushima is threatening to poison the entire planet.  A half-kilometer wide space rock will buzz the Earth and Moon in a couple of days.  The COMEX has reportedly raised margins to 100%.  And any pretense that the US and EU support democracy is now gone, as they put the thumb-screws on Greece to cancel a referendum on EU membership.

It's a special kind of insanity going on.  A nation with at least 300 nukes is threatening to go to war with another for the possibility that maybe they have thought about perhaps making some nukes of their own.  The war, of course, is completely unprovoked, and is backed by other nations with several thousand nukes of their own.

The US's mortal enemy al Qaeda has taken over Libya and raised its flag over the government buildings.  Since insanity is the rule now, al Qaeda is now the US's best friend in North Africa, while still shooting at them in Iraq and Afghanistan.  This is progress?

Does this strike anyone else as just freakin' nuts?  Or am I alone here in seeing so much strangeness and hypocracy?  Those are rhetorical questions, of course.  Obviously, readers of this blog are excepted from the ranks of the insane.

Heck, we've got a measles outbreak among supposedly vaccinated people in Canada.  We've got legal, authorized prescription pain-killers killing more people in the US than cocaine and heroin combined.  We've got Gardasil crippling and maiming teenage girls all over the place.

There's a spreading 'Occupy' movement protesting the financial system by calling for global governance and monetary controls.  The Vatican, which normally takes 400 or 500 years to get around to anything, has jumped on that bandwagon.  Meanwhile, MF Global, Solyndra and AIG are all dying and taking a lot of hard-earned money with them

And Andy Rooney died.  Apparently, the world was SO absurd, that it killed him trying to make sense of it all.

One person that always makes me feel better, though, is Clif High at halfpasthuman.com.  His latest interview lets us know that no matter how crazy it is now, it will get worse.

Then there's the 9,000-year-old Caucasian mummy found in Nevada.  Kind of blows pretty much every theory of human development out the window in one fell swoop.  The local Indian tribe is, naturally, reticent to allow DNA testing, since it may blow their claim to First Inhabitants out the window, as well.

Even my sister got married for the first time, at the tender age of 41.  This is a certain sign that the End of the World is at hand!

I've even started doing voice-over work again.  Now you KNOW the world is in deep trouble!

It seems the tide is rising, at least figuratively.  As we approach those weird dates of 11/9 and 11/11, people just seem to be wigging out.  It just feels like folks are getting to the point where they just don't care any more.  Why fake civility and hope when you can form up a mob and scare the hell out of Detroit bus drivers?

The facade of peace and plenty is quickly being stripped away, and what's left are a bunch of fat banksters in the center picking the human flesh from their rotted teeth.  As we've seen throughout history, when things get lean and tough, people look around to see who's still eating, and they attack.  For the past millennium, it's been the banksters, of course.  You'd think after a thousand years, we would have figured it out by now.  More to the point, you'd think the banksters would have figured it out and taken more precautions in hiding their crimes.

Sometimes I wish the world would hurry up and jst get it over with, but when I think of the horrors on mass upheavals in past civilizations, and then multiply that by a truly global scale, it's not something to look forward to.  Real revolutions destroy everything in an orgy of blood.  They tear down to the roots all that came before in a bid to excavate the ills of the old regime.  The world hasn't seen something like that since Mao Tse Dung or Pol Pot.

We are standing at one of the cruces in history, where dozens of threads have come together at one time to cause massive upheaval.  The crumbling ruins of the former financial system, along with the ossified remains of intolerant and inflexible governing models are battling each other to the bottom.  At the same time, the standards of civilization that underpin our collective view of the world are imploding.  Religion, law and common courtesy are colliding.

All of this makes acts such as Jesse Ventura's denunciation of the US terror state, all the more poignant.  He is washing his hands of one out-of-control fascist state and moving to another.  In the end, there is nowhere to go.  The cancer of modern political entities has metastasized worldwide.  There is no place safe enough or far enough away.  It comes in the form of drones and missiles and projected force to every corner of the globe.  The merchants of death and masters of war can not stop themselves.  They are without restraint or moral compass.  Their banquet is the bones of the patriot and the blood of the innocent.

In the end, the slime will darken every stoop.  We must face the problem square on, because normal is no more.  We must decide which side we are on and proceed into the darkness.  There is no other way.  People are desparately clinging to anything that seems normal and routine, but those things are mere illusions floating in a sea of change.  The one who will survive are the ones who let go of what has always been, and embrace whatever is to come.

It would be nice to think that things can still be fixed, but at some point, people seem to accept whatever course they are on, because to change it would risk too much.  The irony is that by not risking everything up front, we risk it all in the end.  At some time or another, we will all be forced to choose, and by then the battle is already lost.

There is no such thing as normal, as a quick scan of the headlines will tell you.  There is only refusal to see the truth.  Sure Ron Paul could be elected and things could change radically for the better, but bracing one's self for the storm is a more effective and realistic approach.  The old saying is, "Prepare for the worst and hope for the best."

What really screws with your head is whether preparing for the worst is actually causing the problem?  After all, is that a form of capitulation?

Through Bot-Colored Glasses

Euro Riots
It's that time once again.  Clif and the gang at HalfPastHuman have released the latest Shape of Things to Come (SOTTC) report, and depending on your perspective, it's either hopeful or harrowing.

If you are a tourist in life, then the report will likely keep you awake nights worrying about things to come.  If you are a traveler, then you will find the adventure promised in the 51 pages something to anticipate as the birth pangs of a new order in the world.

And when I say new order, I am NOT referencing the NWO.  In fact, the NWO, as anyone who has followed my rantings here knows, is really the Old World Order, dating back thousands of years.

The bots are outlining a truly new order of things, in which the reptilian guard of yesteryear have finally pushed the last button and have reaped the harvest of what they have sown.

Within the pages of the SOTTC report, we learn that anyone holding a title of royalty or whose job description contains the word "pope" will not be happy with events forcast for the next two years.  The image we should form in our minds is of a lump of clay being squeezed in an iron fist.  The tighter the grip, the more of the clay squirts through every least opening.

As I posited in my article Dog Days of August, the PTB are running scared.  They are losing control of their Monster, a la Frankenstein.  The only response they can formulate in their pea-sized, inbred brains is MORE control...more cameras, more police, more brainwashing.  They can't conceive of any other way.  They are a hammer whose only view of the world is a box of nails.

The problem they don't seem to be able to wrap their puny minds around is that when the crowd knows the trick, the magic doesn't work, and nothing you do will get it back.  I think it's safe to say that they had envisioned the internet as yet another channel of control, but it backfired.  Now it is the very medium of their own undoing, which is why they must shut it down.

Mount Merapi, Java, Indonesia
The bots, however, say something different.  The PTB will attack the net and they will shut it down, but it will only be temporary.  The truth has an amazing facility for leaking from any outlet it can find.  Though the number of people that have truly awoken are a small percentage, great changes have ridden the backs of small numbers.  The (first) American Revolution was spawned by no more than 3% of the population, but they had the most powerful weapon know to us mortals...Truth.

Where the bots turn foreboding, though, is in the Terra entity.  Clif calls the coming Terra changes part of Expando-Planet.  The theory goes something like this: in an electrically active Universe, our planet has a plasma core, and when charged particles from the Sun and Universe enter the core, they convert to additional mass, thus swelling the core and expanding the crust (where we live).  During times of particularly active solar and cosmic bombardment, the core expands rapidly, with the result that we crustal denizens are subject to volcanoes, earthquakes, rips, splits, sinkholes, and any number of other fun and interesting things.

Living in a country with the greatest number of volcanoes on Earth, and sitting on a shattered piece of the crust, as Indonesia does, doesn't engender great solace, in this regard.  Just recently, Mt. Tambora started rumbling for the first time in 200 years.  It is known as the volcano that caused the worst volcanic disaster in modern times, and caused the Year Without Summer in 1816.  Considering the bots also advise aware folks to invest in firewood and heating oil this coming (long) winter, one has to wonder if there's a connection.

Certainly, the number of 6+ earthquakes has been steadily rising over the past decade.  Having already experienced a 7.2 here in 2009, I can tell you I am in no particular hurry to reprise the experience.  But, it does make for a nice segue into Fukushima...

Inspired by the bot output, consider this scenario:
ANNOUNCER: "That's right!  Our cucumbers are guaranteed to give off 12 microsieverts or less of gamma particles!  And if you order now, we'll throw in this handy pocket Geiger counter, absolutely free!  But, that's not all!  The next 100 callers will receive a full bushel of unradiated raw wheat and enough barley seed to produce three month's supply of healthy sprouts for a family of four.  Remember, our produce is certified to glow one-third less than any other food products on the market today.  In fact, if you can find kidney beans with less Cesium-137 than ours, we'll happily refund your money.  Call now!  Operators are standing by!"

Can't happen?  Impossible?  Believe me, we good folks of the world haven't heard half the story out of Fukushima, and that's just one of a dozen reactors with problems that have made even the slightest mention in the MSM (mind shinking media).

In yet another prophetic post, my last two columns (Of Secrets and Lies, Bugging Out and Other Hobbies) eerily leaped off the pages of the SOTTC report.

One major theme is the coming exposure of the Zionists.  It seems much of what I wrote in Of Secrets and Lies will become common knowledge over the next year or so.  Once again (as in WWII), the Zionists will try to deflect the ire of good folks onto the Jews, who have been the whipping dogs of the Zionists for centuries.  Unfortunately, it seems they will be successful, at least for a time.  However, we are entering a time when the old tricks don't work anymore, and this is one of the most egregious of them all.

The rise of great numbers of transnationals was also covered in SOTTC.  It seems that combinations of a Nazi resurrection, unfriendly winters and economic woes will cause a never-before-seen diaspora of people seeking more comfortable climes (in every sense of that term).  It's interesting that a number of countries have been reforming their immigration laws of late, to make them friendlier to transnationals.  I'll cover that in more detail in a later article.

The most worrisome tale woven by the bots is the economic 'perfect storm' approaching.

As in all Depressions, we are sailing head-long into deflation.  Deflations favor those with NO debt and lots of disposable cash, as prices fall making money more valuable.  The problem is that the forecast is for the complete collapse of fiat currencies, starting with the dollar.  "Great," you say, "I've got my gold!"  Well, about that...FDR's Executive Order confiscating gold and silver has never been rescinded, and similar actions on the part  of other governments is quite conceivable.

In a nutshell, if you're in debt (which most folks are), you're screwed.  If you're in cash (which some folks are), you're screwed.  If you've got gold and silver tucked away, you're screwed.  So what's a man to do to protect his family?

Food, water, tools, firewood, guns/ammo...basically anything that's useful for flat-out survival will be the new currency.  A little farm land and the means to protect it would be useful, but it does have the draw-back of locking you into one spot.

The biggest problem people are facing is what Clif calls the normalcy bias.  In other words, being incapable of thinking outside the box.  Coming events will favor those who can conceive of novel solutions to novel situations.  Most folks will be running their generators (if they have one) to keep the plasma TeeVee going, when abnormal responses are what will ensure survival.  Making your way to a tropical rain forest while everyone else is huddling in the cities...a back-pack rigged for deep wilderness while everyone else is trying to haul around their C-rations...that sort of thing.

And why rain forests?  Well, you'd be in a year-round growing season, with wild food for the picking, and you're surrounded by people who are used to having nothing and living off the land.  Beats even the most rural patch of farmland in North America.  It's one reason I live in Indonesia now.

Fukushima, Japan
Up to this point, I've just touched on a few of the bigger issues raised by the bots.  We're on roughly page 25 or 51, and I haven't mentioned half of what's in the front of SOTTC.  Universe favors the prepared mind.  I spend free hours thinking of scenarios and coming up with solutions that few if anyone else has thought of.  The hardest thing to overcome is the 'normalcy bias'.  You have to be prepared to shed everything in an instant and go against the crowd, which is why I try to get folks thinking about touring and traveling in so many of my articles.  Travelers are almost always ready for just about anything the Universe throws our way.

Something like having a knife, pair of scissors and magnifying glass anywhere you go at all times.  Even if I'm completely caught off guard, I can always skin a cat and start a fire.

The Shape of Things to Come report is available at HalfPastHuman.com, for $10 (downloadable PDF file). It's worth ten bux if for no other reason, it gets you to think about "what if".  Once you start doing that, you're well on your way to being a traveler.

Got Bot?

Since the moment there has been a creature called 'human,' there has been a preoccupation with the future.  We define the future as anything that follows on from this immediate heart-beat.  At its most focused form, the curiosity begins with, "Will I get another heart-beat?"

The preoccupation with the future runs the gamut from the season cycles for planting and harvesting, to guessing what civilization and humanity look like in the future.  One could say that all our efforts at raising and educating children center on our desire to shape and influence the future.

Throughout the history of humanity, we have sought the counsel of prophets, sibyls, soothsayers, channelers, and visionaries.  We have pursued science, which at its heart involves predicting future events by observing cause and effect, and predicting outcomes based on a given set of circumstances.

We all do trending, which simplistically is looking at the historic fact that the Sun has always risen in the east, therefore we predict it will continue to rise in the east, barring unforeseen events.  However, it is those unforeseen events that drive our ongoing quest to peer into the future.

What's more, we want to see the future in a repeatable and reliable way.  We seek a scientific means to gauge future events, and perhaps even explore optional choices before we make them with some certainly of the outcome.  Others would seek to capitalize on knowing the future and placing bets, like the character in "Back to the Future," who had sports scores decades in advance.

In the past decade, a number of efforts have been initiated using what are commonly called 'web bots' to scour the internet and build future scenarios on our use of language.  At their heart, they marry two theories together, one being the ancient art of SKED, which seeks to interpret a speaker's or writer's true meaning by gauging the emotional content of his word choice.  The other is the proposition that we are all clairvoyant at some level, and that our insights are buried in our daily discourse.

A number of companies, and probably clandestine political operations, have sprung up in recent years that use some form of this 'language parsing' technique in order to predict market trends, gauge the temperature of large groups of people and even guess at the likelihood of a new product's success, much like a massive focus group or survey.

These techniques would have been unthinkable just 20 years ago.  Until the advent of the internet, and things such as the very blog you are reading now, there was no easily available sample of mass communication.  With the internet, however, there are now literally billions of people all putting forth their ideas and hopes and fears on a daily basis, and because of the digital nature of the information, programs can be written that can amass a large sample of global text and parse it for hidden meanings.

Argueablly, one of the first and best known developers of this technology is Clif High, whose website HalfPastHuman offers frequent updates for a small fee that ostensibly allow the reader to prepare for future events.

Mr. High is a rather private individual who doesn't seek a lot of publicity, however his associate George Ure of UrbanSurvival, has done a fine job of promoting the web bots.  A simple search will bring up many articles, statements, posts, and interviews by and concerning Mr. High's work.  We sent a few questions to Mr. High, trying to get a little more understanding of this technology and what it promises and what its dangers are.  He graciously responded thusly:

LFS: In a nutshell, what are the web bots?  How do they work?
CH: spyders scour the net for usual, casual conversations (no emails, no  chat, no private or
protected areas sampled). They look for over 100,000 key words.  They bring back 2058
characters on either  side of the word (when found). These  are then processed as 4 digit hex
numbers in Prolog (AI programming language) that  aggregates the words around archetypes (family, food, pies, nature, danger....et al). Then i examine a modelspace filled with tens of
millions of words and interpret the changes  in language around the archetypes.

LFS: How did the idea to develop this technology come about?
CH: While  working for a software firm (largest on the planet at the time) i came up with a new
way to store info  on computers which led me to examine  the nature of language  and
communications, and i discovered what seemed to be trends  developing.

LFS: What was the first indication you had that you were on to something with this technology?
CH: 1997 when looking for SUN  computing stock info, i came across huge amounts of  info
about the sun (big  scary solar ball in sky) that  associated it with Disease, just before a huge
CME experience. Then i explored further and  saw that in 1997 it was bringing back language
about  the upcoming , year 2000, stock market internet  bubble crash.

LFS: How accurate would you say the web bots are, in terms of trends analysis and predictive power?
CH: that is a matter of opinion  and it  varies.  My routine saying is that  we are probably twice as
good as 'random chance' should allow.

LFS: Are you able to view results in real-time?  If no, what is the limitation?
CH: No. Too much processing to be done. And too much human interaction that provides most of
the  interpretation. So  limit is human brain  power and time.

LFS: Have you ever encountered similar bots roaming the internet?
CH: yes. 3/three times i have had such encounters with our software. But not since 2006.

LFS: Have you ever traded on the information gathered by the web bots?
CH: Once. in 2000 i used the warning provided to sell all our  44 shares of microsoft stock a mere
8 working days before the  crash and one day prior to the all time high  of  the stock.

LFS: Are you able to parse video/audio recordings at this time?  If no, why?
CH: no.  Too much work. And no $$ to  put into the massive amount of resources (computing)
required to reduce video or audio to text.

LFS: Do you see any ethical considerations with tying this kind of technology to high-speed trading computers?
CH: no, not really as it is  the  human interpretation that creates the meaning from the  mass  of
data. So  there will always be that  hard stop of  running into human time as opposed to
machine time.

LFS: Have you ever been approached to design such a system (that you are willing to admit)?
CH: Yes, several times.

LFS: In your opinion, what are the limitations, if any, to such technology?
CH: Humans.

LFS: Finally, to what nefarious purposes could this technology be turned?  What's the downside?
CH: Fascistic 'pre crime' kind of  forecasting.

If it all sounds a bit mysterious, then you are getting the idea.  The data returned to Mr. High is loaded into something he calls 'modelspace.'  Simplistically, key ideas form kernels around which accrue descriptive terms related to the central idea.  For instance, the word 'earthquake' may have words related to time, location, intensity, and emotional impact surrounding it.

Groups of these concepts link together to form 'meta-data' layers, which form overall 'flavors' of future events.  One example would be 'Terra,' so that several concepts related to Earth and geology, weather, and so on, are joined at higher levels and interact with other 'meta-data.'

Modelspace can be advanced through linear time to observe how certain concepts evolve, change and interact with each other.  Doing this can also show certain ideas increasing in intensity, such as the case with words like 'revolution.'

One of the common problems is that the output of the web bots tends to be somewhat poetic or even akin to reading the I Ching.  It requires some interpretation on the part of the reader when looking into the future.  However, one often looks at the fulfilled events and says, "Ah hah!"  The language is suddenly clear in retrospect.

For instance, a while back there was a lot of language to the effect of a major situation involving 'ships' and 'navy' and 'vessels.'  It turned out to be a prediction of the last shuttle disaster, which is surrounded with naval and seafaring language.

George Ure also postulates that similar events that are temporally close together tend to 'bleed through.'  For example, language surrounding Katrina and Banda Aceh were jumbled together, since both involved large flooding events and severe emotional states.

For this reason, it's not a perfect technology.  Both High and Ure admit problems with nailing certain specifics about events.  Things like precise location tend to be difficult, and timing of events is usually a matter of following temporal markers (i.e.- this event will follow that one).

Still, having what appears to be a fairly accurate map of future events, at least in terms of emotional impact and type of event, gives one just a slight advantage over random chance.

High has established a number of personal rules, such as not trying to predict the future of specific individuals, though tests have proved spookily accurate, according to Ure.

The question is whether others will stop at certain ethical boundaries.  Like any powerful technology, it is a double-edged sword.  Having even a fuzzy view of the future can give certain elements of society undue influence, as High points out.

The other issue is one of destiny.  If future events can be accurately predicted, then are we trapped into certain patterns with no hope of avoiding them?  Even more interesting to ponder is, if we can predict the future using our language, do we then 'speak' our future into being?  And if so, does it not place a grave imperative on what we say?

The concept of the web bots is quite fascinating.  Obviously, if companies are springing up that offer similar technology, could an entire industry spring up around future-casting?  And does that bring us back to destiny as unavoidable?

The implications are rather astounding.  In fact, thinking about them can lead one into circular arguments, not unlike the temporal loops and paradoxes of science fiction.  One hears the line from "Spiderman" repeating over and over, "With great power comes great responsibility."

The question then is, does everyone who possesses or will possess this technology feel the weight of responsibility?  Or will it become yet another tool in the hands of those who would repress humans for personal gain?

We can hope that people such as Mr. High and Mr. Ure, whose openness with this tool, will set an example for others.  If the future belongs to all of us, then we are due any information that can help us shape it.  If, indeed, it can be shaped.

The Shape Of Things To Come reports are available through Clif High's website: http://www.halfpasthuman.com, for $10 per report (roughly quarterly).  Mr. Ure's website is http://www.urbansurvival.com/week.htm.  Massive amounts of information can be found by searching for favorite engine, as well.

Malam Minggu

Just flew in from Singapore, and boy are my arms tired!

It's Malam Minggu (Saturday night) in the Big Durien (hey, if New York can be the Big Apple, then Jakarta is the Big Durien) and I spent the whole day in S'pore meeting with some associates. I like to think of S'pore as the model Benign Fascist State. If you stay within the boundaries, life is pretty smooth and efficient, but if you step even one centemeter over The Line, watch out!

One advantage of going out is that I can hit the Duty Free, even though Indonesia's limits are a bit draconian. I can only bring in one liter of alcohol (liquor or wine, beer doesn't count) and 200 grams of tobacco, which means one carton of smokes, 50 cigars or 200 grams of cut leaf. Of course, I couldn't buy cigs any cheaper than Indonesia, even in North Carolina, so forget that. But I did manage a few Cubanos (eat your heart out Americans) and a liter of fine Scotch Whiskey. Altogether, my imports can't exceed US$250.

Now I haven't had a good bottle of Scotch Whiskey since I got here three years ago. When I got home, the wife couldn't sleep, even though she had a rough day at the rat races. So, I fixed her a traditional Irish lullabye: a good dram of whiskey, some sugar, some milk, and a couple of rocks. She's out like a light now. Indonesians are cheap dates. Takes about one shot of high octane to knock 'em out.

I'm going straight with two diamonds. It's good sippin' stuff, so I'm nursing it along with my cigar on the front porch.

The plane was about half full, which is unusual, but it's post-New Year and not yet Imlec (Chinese New Year), so things are quiet.

The Indonesian government recently released its people. For the longest time, there was a $100 tax by sea and a $250 tax if by air for a citizen to leave the country, if they didn't have an NPWP, which is the Indo version of the Social Security number. As of January 1st, the tax was repealed. Combined with a metric ton of cheap air fares, there's about to be a bunch of Indos flooding the global tourism offices.

The wife went down to renew her passport the other day and the mob was, well, a mob. This has basically taken the reigns off the Indo middle class. After all, the tax raised the price of a trip to S'pore 200% for the average Indo, who didn't have an NPWP.

Now, you might ask why good little citizens don't have tax numbers. Well, most Indo don't have a Social Security number. Most don't earn enough to pay tax, anyway. The few who do, earn enough to pay for all the rest. Such is an oligarchy.

The tax was designed to rip off foreigners who were exporting Indo maids, which is a global pasttime, even if you don't know about it. US tax laws prevent Americans from enjoying the luxuries that most of the rest of the world takes for granted. Kasihan deh loe.

The tax was penalizing the middle class, though, who don't have NPWP either. Recent developments, over the past ten years, have created a very properous middle class here in Indonesia, and they want to go out and see so world, too.

Anyway, the wife and I are taking advantage of the cheap airfares and her new-found freedom, to plan a trip to Hong Kong in April. We want to visit Kowloon Island and Macau Island. The package deal, with hotel, is $200/person, airfare and 4/3 in a four-star hotel. Could be worse.

I can get more of less the same deal to Phuket, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Min, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei. For Bali, it's even cheaper, as in rediculous.

For you folks playing at home, you may want to check out AirAsiago.com, and see if you can't combine a package to get a cheap Asian vacation to exotic locations.

Damn! Just dipped my cigar in whiskey and a cool breeze kicked up. The neighborhood kids are in the park with their guitars wooing their pacar.

The house cat, Jeruk/Orange, slung a litter of milk-suckers Monday night. Give of them to be exact. Three greys, named Kerakatau, Merapi and Bromo (local volcanoes), a calico names Campur (mix), and another orange that I call JJ (Jeruk Juga, or orange also).

God is in His Heaven and all is right with the world.

Or is it?

Just to the south of me, in Queensland, they are having the test by fire, only with water. Brazil is under water. A good part of the States stand to me inundated when the thaw comes. Europe too. The economy is tanking. The world is flying apart at the seams. For some of us, it's the calm before the storm. For others, the storm hath arrived. For yet even others, the storm hath passed. What remains is the question of the hour.

My colleague Clif High, at HalfPastHuman.com has posted a recent article that we Asian dwellers would do well to read.

The cigar and whiskey are working their magic. The mind is open and the tongue is loose.

And so, the words and whiskey begin to flow. Who knows what will pop out next. A word of shameless promotion: if you need a writer with award-winning skills in multiple formats, drop a line to luap.jkt@gmail.com. Whether it's articles, scripts, copy, tech manuals, or really anything written, I promise to spell check before sending along. Word-smithing ain't just a job, it's a living!

And so, with that, I bid adieu. I'm going to finish my straight-two-diamonds and a fine cigar. And I'll leave you with this thought:

Cowboys are FROM Texas, but they ain't necessarily IN Texas.

Teaser: coming soon-review of "The Cosmic War," by Joseph P. Farrell, and an interview with webbot cowboys. Jack in, tune out and let the bits byte.

And while you're planning your home garden, don't forget the medicinal herbs.

Start The Revolution Without Me

Federal judge killed.
Congresswoman wounded.
Bombs mailed to Homeland Security overlord.
Bombs sent to Maryland governor.
Reid says Obamacare repeal not going to happen.
Illinois devates reaising income tax 75%.
Obama wants online ID for all Americans.

And in one of those ironic messages from Dreamtime: the shooting takes place in a store called Safeway.

This is just a sample of the headlines on drudgereport.com as I write this. It would seem that the States are entering a new period of deep and antagonistic relations between 'We The People,' and those who purport to 'lead' them.

I have to tip the hat to Clif over at halfpasthuman.com. A couple of years ago, he began publishing web bot reports about a massive release of emotional language about now. Several months ago, he refined the timeline to say that the 'tipping point' would begin in early December, with an accelleration around January 7 and 12. The first round was marked by the release of Suu Kyi, and it would appear that the second wave is crashing on the metaphysical shore as we talk.

I find it highly curious that a man named "Loughner," who naturally posted a few videos on YouTube, has been fingered as the 'lone nut.' He also seems to have had a thing about lucid dreaming and mind control.

It's like a sequel to the same tired movie franchise. Crazy, paranoid, government-hating 'loner' goes nuts and shoots up (pick a venue). Throw in some mail bombs, which is a rehash of the post-911 anthrax plot (which was tied to strains registered to the US military, by the way). The whole thing is just too convenient.

The usual follow-up will be gun-control laws and increased security, only the new target of the witch-hunt will be the American people. Not that it hasn't been all along, but now it will be in the open.

Wasn't it just a few months ago that Obama's puppetmasters were saying that his presidency would benefit greatly from some terrorist action? Gee, right on cue. Couldn't ask for better. I'm willing to bet that the script calls for the Congresswoman to hang on by a thread for a few days, but when the news cycle is just right, she'll pass on. Always happens that way.

These types of things have become so predictable, one almost doesn't need web bots to see them coming. I can bet that there'll be a copycat attack and more military-style mail bombs come Monday morning, when everyone flips on the babbleheads while they are getting ready for work (those who still have a job, that is). In fact, Clif's second dats of January 12 would be a good bet.

In short order, the fascist take-over of America will be pretty much complete. The government, in order to protect itself from the people who created it, will throw its masters into FEMA camps and lock down the entire country. Electronic ID tags will be required over every single person in order to fight 'terror,' even though the 'terror' is completely manufactured by those who claim to protect us.

It's as old as Macchiavelli, at least in writing. The technique has been used throughout history. Hitler used it to take over power in Germany, with the Reichstag fire. Every successful dictator creates his own enemies in order to look 'leader-ish' and usurp power by having the people hand it to them out of fear.

Don't get me wrong. The shootings are a tragedy. Every man's death dimishes me. If a clod be washed away by the sea, is Europe not the less? But to carry on the paraphrase, as the bell begins to toll, we should realize is tolls for us. (If you are not familiar with John Dunne's 'Meditation 17, then you are probably a product of the American public school system)

We should mourn the loss of life. We should pause and take stock of how fragile it is. We should also realize that no one is a 'loughner.' To continue with Dunne, no man is an island. We should begin looking behind the scenes for the real culprit, the one pulling the strings, the one who will use this tragedy to gain political advantage. The whole 'lone nut' thing with attacks on Congress, judges and other political offices is a red herring. The real culprits sit in corporate board rooms and the Federal Reserve building.

And no, I'm not recommending anyone shoot or blow them up. Use the judicial system for what it was designed to do...protect the individual from predators. Don't take your eyes off of those who are really causing the problems. All this other news are distractions and camoflage to hide the true evil that is eating the nation alive.

I'm reminded of that great scene in 'Men In Black,' where Will Smith and his fellow recruits are on the firing range. Everyone opens up at the obvious monsters, while Will holds back and then pops a little girl in the head. When asked why, he says something like, "A white girl, in the ghetto, in the middle of the night. And she's got books on physics and chemistry. Something ain't right."

We have to have the same sort of discernment. There are the obvious monsters of 'Loughner' gunmen and mail bombers, but who's pushing the buttons? Who's driving people to extreme action? Who's the real culprit?

It could be the answer will surprise you.

Clif High's work with the web bots is remarkable. Granted, most of the time it is hard to foresee particular events, but certainly knowing that major shifts in emotional impacts are coming and having a pretty good idea when they will come is pretty handy. You come to expect the news rather than react to it. It's surprising how much difference that can make.

You can find Clif's work over at halfpasthuman.com (link in the sidebar). His 'Shape of Things to Come' (SOTC) reports cost $10, and come out a few times a year. You can also follow the exploits of the web bots with George Ure over at urbansurvival.com, also linked on the sidebar.

I highly recommend the ounce of prevention versus the pound of cure.
