READER NOTE: Updates appear at the end of this article.

Two questions I frequently receive from readers are, "How did Q start," and "Is it true Q recruited Trump?"

These are difficult questions, because the answers have been so muddied with myth and legend by now.  It is still possible, however, to get very close to how this all began, and to answer the question of recruitment.  The answer to this latter question is very disturbing and is one of the principle reasons I turned negative on Q.

First, how did Q begin?

As far as anyone knows, Q's first generally recognized post was on 4chan on 28 October 2017, at 15:44 EST.  This post claimed that Hillary Clinton would be arrested on the morning of 30 October 2017, and that the military was tasked with the arrest, while the National Guard (State unspecified) was on alert for both social unrest/riots and to apprehend running perpetrators.  We were told Clinton's passport had been flagged and that extradition processes had already been initiated with several countries.

We should note several details here.  Firstly, the entity posting this message is "Anonymous" without the now-ubiquitous "Q" signature; and secondly, there are 50 National Guards - one in each State - and that some were indeed activated to assist with the devastation in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria.

To trace this all back to the deepest roots requires going back  a full year before Q's first post.  Around 30 October 2016, a series of mysterious tweets appeared on the verified FBI Document Vault account.  The account itself is quite fascinating, but some of the original tweets appear to have been deleted, though there are a number of independent references to them (dead links).

In the middle of the night, 17 tweets appeared that detailed investigations of Donald Trump's father and uncle, who apparently had FBI connections.  They also released copies of the Hillary Clinton and Gen. David Petaeus investigations, as well as a copy of the FBI investigation manual.  What this ostensibly showed was the profound lack of depth in the Clinton investigation and the violations of procedure, and thus the corruption evident within the FBI.

We note the number 17, as this is a significant number in the Qniverse, because Q is the 17th letter of the English alphabet.  Also note in the linked video, Trump mentions McDill AFB, which we have connected to Q in Who Is Q?

Interestingly, one of the claims by this series of tweets was that social media and viral news had made it possible to skirt media gatekeepers and allow "insiders" to get information directly to the masses.  As with Q, this was considered a confirmed post by the time stamp of precisely 11am and including "coded" messages.

The "coded" messages were in the form of several FBI manuals, whose order and topics were said to tell a story.  For instance, the posting of the FBI's manual on health regimens was said to indicate Hillary Clinton's health issues.

In fact, the exact same language of "it's all over" and the "house of cards collapsed" used by Q appears in these tweets a full year before Q arrived.  Based on this information, little has changed in more than two years, yet the Qvians are constantly crowing how the end is nigh!

All the pieces of Q were extant a full year before Q "officially" appeared.  This implies that the Q psy-op has been modifying its message and techniques for some time, beginning during the Obama administration.  This gives us a clue that Q did not just "appear" on the scene, but was the fruit of a long process of testing how to use social media effectively to deliver propaganda.

One item I note with great interest is that these tweets appear to be the origin of the Hillary Health narrative.

This was followed by the appearance of several "government insiders" on 4chan, such as "FBIanon" and WhiteHouseAnon" and others, who reportedly had leaked information as well as specific predictions of future events.  FBIanon was generally considered credible, but for some reason, the entity that would become Q was given the most attention despite having made the above prediction that was so obviously wrong.

In any event, this series of tweets implied that Trump was recruited by FBI insiders concerned with the level of government corruption and undue influence of George Soros in militarizing police departments around the country.  It averred that Trump's uncle was well respected in the FBI and that his father was considered a patriot - and that Donald Trump was "clean".  We'll come back to that last item shortly.

This entity was said to have called itself a "Q Clearance Patriot," implying that it had top-level secret clearance (Q Clearance).  A search reveals that the only known all-access Q-Clearance in the US federal government is in the Department of Energy, which hardly seems related to military intelligence operations, though energy is certainly a highly strategic resource.

What is curious is that there are no references to "Q Clearance Patriot" in any of the 3312 Q Drops to date.  This term seems to have appeared either in posts by other "insiders" on 4chan, or in Reddit commentary well outside the preferred Q Domain.

The earliest reference I can find to the moniker "Q" being applied to this entity is in the article linked here.  The writer says, "Now let's get back to this new alleged insider, who calls himself "Q Clearance Patriot" (I'll use "Q")."  This is the earliest reference to using "Q" as short for "Q Clearance Patriot" that I can ascertain.

In this article, we note that there are references to "FBIanon" and "White House Anon," who are credited with accurate predictions of upcoming events. Reddit links are provided in the article and I will leave that judgement to the reader.

So it seems that Q was just one of several "anonymous insiders" who were posting leaks on Twitter and 4chan in the early days.

Within the scope of the model I proposed in Who Is Q?, we might think of these as separate teams working on the same goals with different approaches to see which one resonated most with the general public on the "chans".

This same article also seems to be one of the earliest references to the now-common Q Myth that Donald Trump was recruited by military intelligence to run for president in 2016.  His primary goal, it says, would be to "drain the swamp" with special focus on "pizzagate/child trafficking".  Note:

"B. Q'a [sic] overall theory (that Trump was recruited by military intelligence to stage a quiet coup to restore government integrity) fits with several things we know about the military.

"First of all, the military has a very low rate of Jewish people. For some mysterious reason, Jewish people rose to disproportionate levels of power in finance, lobbying, Hollywood, and media, but not in the military. If you look at the picture of Trump with his military team ("calm before the storm"), you see virtually no Jewish people there. FBIanon, who is widely regarded as the most credible of the 4chan insiders, said that the deep state corruption has a heavy Jewish influence."

The article header says that it was posted "1.4 years ago," as of the date of this writing,  which would place it about Novermber-December 2017, or within a month or two of Q's first appearing.  This would be confirmed by the author's reference to "Snoop Dogg's new album cover," which was released in November 2017.

We note that the article cites both Q and Anon (Apostles and Acolytes) sources as saying Trump was recruited for a "coup" against The Swamp, and that the military had pledged to protect Trump leading to his appearance of being "cool, calm and collected" in the face of widespread threats and near-constant media attacks.

By April 2018, another article avers that Dr. Jerome Corsi was approached by a group of generals in 2015, and told that the military had recruited Trump to run for president and lead the "coup" against The Swamp:

"According to veteran investigative reporter and best selling author, Dr. Jerome Corsi, he was approached three years ago by a group of generals and told that Donald Trump had been recruited by U.S. military intelligence to run in the 2016 Presidential elections, and subsequently help remove corrupt Deep State officials from positions of power. Corsi claims that QAnon represents the same group of senior military intelligence officials who are exposing the Deep State corruption and officials involved in a history of treasonous actions against the U.S. Republic."

Corsi and Alex Jones were later disavowed by Q, and not long after that, Corsi was arrested as part of Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation into Russian influence in the 2016 election.  The reader should see my article Jonesing For Q for extended discussion of these events.

To summarize the Q Legend so far, we have military intelligence - or was it FBI insiders? - formulating a "coup" against select groups within the US federal government, referred to as The Swamp.  The favorable status of Trump's uncle and father within the FBI is given as part of the reason he was selected.  Child trafficking and police militarization (Soros influence) were cited as two primary motivations for the coup.

Among the issues that alarmed the military was the undue influence of Jewish interests within the various agencies of government, and in external industries like media, finance and lobbying.

Thus, Q is a function of military intelligence designed to provide "insider" information to the general public and sway opinion against The Swamp, as well as provide updates on efforts to "drain the swamp" as part of an operation popularly referred to as The Storm and/or The Plan.

If we take these assumptions to be true, then some disturbing inferences fall out of them.

If Trump was indeed recruited to be the front man for a military coup within the federal government, then there must have been some means by which they could have ensured that Trump would win.  After all, Trump was probably the least likely candidate to beat Hillary Clinton, and would explain why the media and the the Clinton campaign gave so much time and attention to the Trump campaign.  They had selected Trump as their preferred opponent, thinking he would be a sure loser.  Thus, the near-absolute assurance in the media that Clinton would win the election.

This implies that somehow the Clinton campaign and the media were swayed to choose Trump as the preferred opponent.  The only other possible explanation was that Trump was selected by a "higher power," and the campaign was choreographed, with or without Clinton's knowledge and approval.  If Clinton knew, then everything we have witnesses since 2015 has been a kabuki theater to achieve some goal that we are not yet aware of.

This implies that the military had some way to "steer" the election and guarantee their selected front man would win.  In other words, it was not Russian influence that defeated Clinton, but the US military itself by manipulating the election.

If we assume that Q represents an advanced propaganda technology, as I have argued extensively in previous articles, then it is no far reach to conclude that the Q technology was used to influence voters via social media and targeted messages.

The Q Naratie that Trump was recruited includes the idea that the military had refrained from an open coup during the Obama administration, and that it would have no choice but to do so under a Clinton administration.  That places rather weighty stakes on the 2016 election outcome and would be sufficient reason to use every means available to ensure a favorable election outcome.

This Narrative also implies that The Swamp, The Storm and The Plan all refer to a concerted effort to rid the US federal government of "Jewish" influence.  This seemingly anti-Jewish, and by extention anti-Israel stance by Q would seem to be backed up by Q916, from 10 March 2018, where Q states, "We are saving Israel for last."

However, this flies in the face of Trump's actions to move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

In Q137, from 12 November 2017, Q posted a list of national central banks without any other commentary.  Since "Jewish" control of Finance was established early on in the Q Narrative as being a problem, we can assume that the list of banks represents targets of some kind for The Storm/The Plan.

Another implication of all this is that military intelligence would have had to scrub Trump's background in order to leave little or no dirt for the opposition to use against him.

When one considers just how "clean" Trump has been, it seems unnatural for an individual in his position, both in public and private life.  We know that a recording was unearthed during the 2016 campaign from someone's private collection, of Trump making disparaging remarks about the behavior of women around wealthy men.  This is no secret to any worldly individual, but it did cause some momentary dust-ups in the campaign.

Other than that, the only negative information that has been uncovered by extensive Senate, House, Special Counsel, and opposition research over the past three years was the Steele Dossier, which appears to have been completely fabricated.

Are we to assume that a man who has had some very nasty and public divorces, owned a casino, owned the Miss Universe brand, dealt in highly corrupt New York real estate, and been through several bankruptcies is completely spotless?  Most of us would hardly stand up to this kind of scrutiny without some skeletons falling out of the closet.  Even Mother Teresa was not without sin.

To date, there is no unquestionable proof of shady business dealings, financial hanky-panky, nor underhanded anti-competitive practices.  The most visible accusation of sexual misconduct was from Stormy Daniels (interesting first name in this context), who lost her suit and was saddled with $300,000 in legal defense fees and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, has recently been indicted on multiple counts of fraud, embezzlement, tax evasion and various other crimes.

It seems highly unlikely that Trump is an angel, so someone (military intel?) has scrubbed his past to ensure that nothing of any consequence could be uncovered, no matter how deeply someone might dig.  I am not attempting to sully the man, but only wish to point out his unnatural cleanliness.  It seems almost impossible to become a multi-billionaire with real estate and media empires, and not have something to hold over him.

The only other possibility that comes to mind is that the Clinton campaign, media heads and other public watchdogs have agreed not to publish anything damaging about Trump.  It seems far more likely that his past was scrubbed.

Which leads us to the question: does military intelligence have something on Trump to ensure his compliance?

It seems reasonable to assume that if military intel recruited Trump as front man, scrubbed his past, rigged an election, and is providing unprecedented protection for he and his family, then that same group must have insurance that Trump will act as needed to achieve the stated goals (The Plan).  Thus, Trump is trapped and is not making his own decisions.  He is performing a scripted function on behalf of a well shaded group whose actual identity and motives we can only guess at.

These are very disturbing inferences, and I make no secret that they are inferences and suppositions.  However, they fall naturally out of the information we have, and which I have documented extensively across a great many articles on topic.  While we have little irrefutable evidence to back up these assumptions, we also have none to allay them.

I have proven that Q is a psy-op, and argued that it is indeed a function of military intel, and have proposed who, where and how Q functions.  Given that psy-ops function in a murky world of half-truths and outright lies, we cannot - at this point - be sure of any of these data points.

However, if we take Q and the Anons (Apostles and Acolytes) at face value, then the questions raised here must be addressed, or accept that a growing social and political movement is based on highly deceptive and even frightening foundations.

It is well known and even assumed that most political leaders are controlled by special interests.  Even a cursory glance at donor lists tells us unequivocally that these leaders are beholden to private and corporate interests that don't necessarily mesh with our own.

Though the popular image is that Trump is free of influence because he used his own fortune and did not kow-tow to special interests to get elected, we can plainly see that this may not be the case.  In fact, having a leader in the nation's highest office who is literally owned and operated by the military is anathema to American ideals and simply dangerous to an open and functional republic.

It is at this point that we would do well to rehearse the words of Dwight Eisenhauer in his final speech to the nation as president:

"Now this conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence—economic, political, even spiritual—is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet, we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications."

If Q represents a group of military leaders who have become alarmed in recent years over the direction of the nation, and have just barely resisted the urge to launch an outright coup and establish a provisional junta, why now?

In the last 70 years, we have had assassinations, illegal wars and a central bank quite obviously robbing the wealth of a nation.  There has been ample reason for a military intervention to "protect and defend the Constitution."  Yet, only now has the military seen fit to intervene?  The JFK assassination alone was clearly a coup d'etat, but it was the Obama administration and the possibility of a second Clinton administration that compelled this action?

Doesn't pass the smell test.

For Q followers, it is high time to question blind allegiance to this entity.  For the rest of us, it is well past time to question what it is that claims to protect the president and to push into the open whether the Legend of Q is true and what influence does it have over political leadership.

While Qvians sincerely believe they know who/what Q is, and what the agenda behind it is, in fact they have no clue other than what a disembodied anonymous poster has told them.

The rest of us may blithely dismiss Q as a "conspiracy theory," but the fact remains that it is having a very real effect on public discourse and the decisions made by a significant number of individuals within the electorate.

As I have outlined here, the questions, assumptions and rational conclusions that fall out of the available data are disturbing and need to be addressed.  Both the responsible media (such as it is) and we, the unenthralled public, must push this issue to the front and get whatever facts we can on the table in order to make informed decisions as the next election cycle heats up.

It is reasonable to assume that Qvians and Q itself will have an influence on the 2020 elections.  Can we afford to be uncritical and uninformed on the nature and agenda of this entity?

In conclusion, we now know that Q is just the latest "version" of an effort dating to at least 2015, and possibly 2014 and before.  It was originally thought to be coming from the FBI, then later military intelligence, but in both cases, Trump was recruited to run for president.  The origins of much of the Q Legend appear pre-2017, with coded messages, synchronized time stamps, and so forth; however, it seems to be Trump's contribution to push catch phrases like "The Storm," "The Plan," and "Where we go one we go all."  I say this because Trump is an undisputed marketing genius, so he would naturally formulate tag lines and catch phrases that would stick in the mind, much like "Make America Great Again."

It appears that the original Q efforts centered around Twitter, however the use of censorship algorithms likely made this outlet untenable, so the "chans" were chosen for their non-censorship policies, with Trump using Twitter to issue companion posts, as the White House would be less likely to encounter blatant censorship there.

We have seen the origin of at least one meme that weighed heavily on the Clinton campaign - the health issue.  This implies more waiting to be found, and thus a fingerprint of efforts to steer the election in spite of the MSM constant drumbeat in favor of Clinton.  I suspect many more of these memes are waiting to be found in the vast volume of pre-election electronic chatter.

The lynch pin of the Q psy-op is the issue of pizzagate/child trafficking (see note below).  No matter how far afield one wanders in this investigation, one always stumbles over this underlying issue.  It is a matter of faith in Q that this issue will finally be exposed and the entire world power structure based on it will collapse under its weight.  This is certainly a key feature in the belief that there are 90,000+ Sealed Indictments against participants in this scandal.  To be seen...

Altogether, this reinforces my assertion that Q is a psy-op and that it has undergone a fairly extensive development process, with significant input from Trump's marketing background.  This is an emerging technology, which is still being perfected and will likely play an enormous role in the upcoming 2020 elections.

Given the history of Q, it stands to reason that it will continue to evolve and become more effective.  We would do well to keep a close eye on it going forward.

Oh, and we have now traced Q's appearance to within two years - almost to the day - that Cicada 3301 first appeared and simultaneous with Cicada's 3rd Puzzle, which also appeared on Twitter.

The Second Coming of Reagan

When this column is published on Monday morning here on the Far Side, it will still be Sunday night for a major portion of the readership here, but it will be in all cases less than 24 hours from one of the most significant moments in modern political history - and certainly in modern histrionics.

By Tuesday morning, all things being equal, Donald J. Trump will be confirmed as the 45th president of the United States, and all hell will break loose.

Whether you support or revile Trump matters little.  The fact is that very few people have any real idea who he is and where he stands on a wide variety of issues.  With most politicians, one has a history of their voting record in office, a body of speeches and actions, and a relatively coherent history to go on.  With Trump, the world has none of that.

All we really have with Trump is his record of making money at a number of business ventures and a lot of campaign rhetoric that, given the long history of politics, means little when compared to what politicians actually do and achieve in public life.

Being a political atheist, I come down on the side of caution, which I believe is a rational and reasonable position when dealing with anyone in public life.  In my lifetime, I have never seen a politician ever live up to their promises.  What I have seen a lot of is people projecting their hopes and dreams onto certain charismatic individuals, based on little more than what religion offers: faith.  In fact, the most common outcome of elections is deep and bitter disappointment.

One need look no further than the vainglorious "hope" and empty "change" that Barack Obama offered.  In 2008, he was hailed as nothing short of the Second Coming - a modern political savior who would end racial discrimination and finally equal the playing field.  Instead, the country ended up in 2016 with deeper and more entrenched divides, and even a great number of US black people wondering what the hell happened to the Great Black Hope.

Politics is like an abusive spouse.  We keep thinking this time she's changed, this time she'll be different, only to find ourselves beat and battered for another term.  Despite centuries of history, we never seem to see the light that nothing changes and all our hopes and dreams end up in the same place - the hospital with friends and family clucking their tongues and wagging their heads saying, "When are you going to learn?"

I, for one, embrace candidates that I think will bring the most chaos and disappointment, since my hope is that he or she will finally be the straw that breaks the camel's back and we can collectively get over this love/hate relationship with politics and put an end to the deadliest, most abusive addiction humanity has ever suffered: government.  Alas!  That day still seems as far off as it did decades, even centuries, ago.

One thing is certain: Donald Trump is the most bombastic rhetorician the US has had since Theodore Roosevelt.  So far, the only major effect his election has had has been to push the dollar to new market highs, which ironically makes US exports unattractive, while making imported goods seem cheap and attractive - more of less the exact opposite of what he has said he wants.

To grant him the benefit of the doubt, several large companies have cancelled plans to move their factories out of the country, and others have announced intentions to move their factories back to the US.  This means saving or adding jobs that pay decent wages and support the middle class, which is the life-blood of any thriving economy.  A hearty clap on the back goes to Trump for that quick bit of PR.  Well done.

The problem remains, though, that a significant section of the US has been irreversibly brainwashed into servitude in exchange for scraps from the government table and "safe zones" for crying "nobody loves me, everybody hates me."  These children in adult bodies are beyond hope, and they are obviously a significant segment of the society.  They will never shut up because they know of no other way to behave than to demand conformity, which they mistakenly call diversity.

The biggest change I see coming is not in the System, but in the System's focus.  Trump will likely shift the focus of the protection racket called government from "Finance" to "Production."  This is not entirely bad, as Production is the basis of Capitalism.  For far too long, the focus has been on protecting the Financial sector, which produces nothing and functions largely as a parasite on the arse of society.  To the extent that Trump is successful in this effort, it will greatly enhance the pocket-money situation in the US middle class.

What I don't foresee is a true "swamp draining."  For those unfamiliar with this particularly American political catch-phrase, it is often used by politicians who promise to "go to (insert name of political body) and clean up the corruption."  I have seen a lot of "swamp drainers" come and go, and the primary result is that the System chews them up and spits them out, with some like Ron Paul being marginalized to the point of invisibility until they give up and go away.

In order for Trump to achieve the things that got him elected, he will need the Congress on his side.  Republican control of both houses of Congress notwithstanding, he must compromise with dozens of factions within the party to achieve even a fraction of what he claims to want.  Most importantly, he needs the Federal Reserve on his side, since it controls the economy and is a private corporation with only nominal oversight by Congress.

On top of those two major hurdles, Trump will need to pack the judiciary with like-minded judges, which will be near impossible, since (again) the Congress will need to approve the appointments and will want their own agendas met in exchange.

In the end, Trump is virtually powerless to achieve real change.  The System always wins.  It is designed that way.  Despite all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, about the only real change that he will, and has already achieved is to marginalize the Bush and Clinton crime families, but even there, short of prosecuting and jailing (even executing for treason) those folks, he has only sidelined them for a time.  Case in point is the current recounts, Electoral College drama and future efforts sure to follow.  For his part, Trump has already displayed a lack of stomach for that fight, as it would most likely consume his entire tenure in office - or at least the first term - though it would certainly be the greatest service he could perform for the nation, and the world at large.

In any event, I place very low expectations on the coming Trump years.  This will mean that I am either pleasantly surprised, spot on or minimally disappointed.  I would give anything in four years to eat my words, but I find no reason to run out and buy seasoning packets to make them more palatable.

Though I spent half of the Reagan Revolution living outside the US, I did see an economic benefit from those years.  The trade-off, though, was a culture so brilliantly captured by Oliver Stone's film Wall Street.  It seems Reagan forgot to corral the Financial sector before turning loose the Production folks.  If Trump goes this route, we are in for more of the same-old, Part 2.

The Last Word

Much to the joy of many readers, I'm sure, this will be my final analysis of the election.  It has taken me some time to absorb and dissect the events of last week, and there are still a few observations left to express before I move on to more interesting things in the future.

To begin with, I believe at this point, that Trump was not part of whatever it was that got him elected.  The look on his face as he sat in the Oval Office with Obama was priceless and shown through even his best attempts to mount a poker face.

The look in his eyes said that, a) he had learned some things in his new level of intel briefings that he was wholly unprepared to know, and b) he was actually cowed by the realization that within two months, he would occupy the White House.  His conciliator tone towards the Clintons in recent days tells me that his world just exploded.

That is a major clue that the entire world has just been victim of a psy-op, but one that the players, Hillary included, were not ready for, meaning whoever pulled it off was not part of anyone's inner circle.

This is doubly true for the pundits and the general public.  I have little sympathy for the media heads.  They have knowingly and with full complicity been a part of the mass mind control that is the center of today's column.  I feel sorry for the general public, though.  They have gone through an "Awakening" without any preparation or desire on their part.

Most of the people who come here regularly are already awake, to one extent or another.  We have all been through the process of having our eyes opened to the "real" world and have powered through the shock, pain and disorientation that comes with it.  But imagine the worlds of millions of people who are literally hypnotized by the media suddenly being exploded under them.  It is no wonder there is literal wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Though they bear a significant responsibility for not having pushed themselves beyond their conditioning, it is fair to say that most do not have the tools to do so, thanks to the so-called Education System.

An Awakening is a powerful moment, when the scaffolding that has supported your worldview for however many years suddenly collapses.  Most folks are not ready for this and for the most part don't want it.  \

My Awakening was brought on by a conscious choice and effort to achieve it.  Even with the express goal, having sought out information and teachers to help me achieve it, when it actually happened, it was a truly terrifying experience.  I can only imagine what people are feeling, whose entire framework of reality is suddenly gone with no preparation or warning.

It is the reaction of the general public that intrigues me the most.  Someone set out to purposefully achieve this effect, the purpose of which remains to be seen.  Furthermore, the party or parties who pulled it off had access to the network of voting machines, had carefully orchestrated expectations and had timed events for maximum effect.  It was every bit as planned and executed as the JFK assassination or the 9/11 attack.  From a strictly objective viewpoint, it was masterfully choreographed, leaving no trail that has been uncovered so far as we know.

What is truly astounding is the global effect the election results had.  Leaders in nearly every major nation seem as stunned and mystified as everyone else.  Many rolled over and made a complete about-face almost immediately.  Canada and Mexico surrendered NAFTA.  The EU threw up its hands over TTIP.  Only China seems unfazed and is still demanding adherence to both the TPP and the Paris Climate Accords, which I find a rather interesting reaction.  Even stone-faced Putin seemed momentarily shaken, having fully prepared for and expected war with the NeoCons in the near future.

Most curious, though, was Trump himself.  I believe he had resigned himself to a loss sometime during election day.  One thing is quite certain, watching him in the days since, he was not prepared to win.  Having spent his life on the sidelines with politicians kow-towing to him for money and attending formal functions with government types had him thinking it was not all that difficult.  He obviously has had a rude awakening of his own.

One very alarming result of all this is the way so many people are going around reciting words like "misogynist," "xenophobe" and "racist," seemingly without knowing what they are doing.  It seems to be some kind of programming that has been installed that has been triggered by certain events.  Many of the people reciting these mantras strike me as not even having a clue what the words mean, they are just automatically spewing them in response to specific stimulae.  The Teens and Tweens I have seen using the words are not putting them in any kind of meaningful context, they are just reciting them in response to any unpleasant situation.

Related to this were the reports of a great many adults unable to function on an adult level.  Classes were cancelled, people didn't go to work, and a great many reports came in of university students reverting to childish behavior, part of which I blame on the self-esteem/exceptional conditioning, but there seems to be an additional dimension to it.  That they would revert to a child-like state, rather than just go into a daze or shock was very curious.

At this point, we need to ask ourselves, to what purpose was this forced Awakening done? Here we are no longer able to observe, we must speculate on the motives of a group or groups unknown.  Without further data, it is very difficult to say what the desired outcome is.  But let's try anyway.

First of all, who did it?

We can safely say that there are a number of competing factions within the US deep state.  At the very least are the Industrialists and the Financiers represented by the two major candidates.  However, given that both the candidates were obviously shocked, it is safe to assume that neither of these two groups pulled this off.  Which is not say that they weren't trying to effect their own operations, but they were overridden by a third party.  To my mind, at least, that much is clear.

The obvious culprits would be Russia and China.  China had more to lose with Trump's election, since they clearly wanted certain agreements and relationships represented by the Hillary faction.  Russia, on the other hand, stood to lose quite a bit if Hillary were elected.  They would very likely end up in a real shooting war with the US, had Hillary been installed.  However, Russia also stood to lose a great deal if their tracks were ever uncovered.  They couldn't afford to give any ammunition to the war hawks that would so clearly give cause to go to war.  With so much at risk, I believe that Russia can be ruled out.  It seems to me that they had better options, such as blackmail, to control the Hillary faction.

No other countries seem to benefit from Trump being elected.  Nearly every major power had some reason to want Hillary installed, if for no other reason than to maintain the status quo.  Even Japan would stand to lose more in trade with a protectionist president, than it would have to gain in its geopolitical positions with Russia and China.  Certainly, Hillary would be far more likely to back-up Japan militarily should anything go wrong in the South China Sea or the Kuril Islands.

What we are left with is a non-state entity.  That would include multi-national corporations, private associations and other similar groups.  In this case, the corporations would seem to have an interest in Trump being elected, in the sense that they would benefit from tax cuts and reduced regulation, but that would come at the price of protectionist treaties, such as TPP and TTIP, that offer them much greater benefits, not to mention the ability to offshore jobs to low-wage countries - something that Trump has promised to curtail.

That leaves NGOs and billionaire busy-bodies like George Soros.  Nearly every entity included in this group, even Soros, benefit greatly from a globalist NeoCon environment.  It seems quite clear, at least from Trump's campaign rhetoric, that none of these groups would derive much benefit from a Trump presidency.  They would encounter significant opposition to their operations that they do not have under a Hillary administration.  In fact, they would have had nearly free rein in that case.

By process of elimination, we are left with a nationalist/patriot faction within the US deep state, or a third party that is completely hidden from the cast of usual suspects.

The nationalist/patriot faction seems plausible.  They would want a protectionist - preferably outsider - president who might even be "grateful" once he found out what had been done on his behalf.  They would also benefit from a mass awakening from media programming, so as to clear the channels for installation of new programming.  This must be confirmed by what messages start getting broadcast to the general public.  If the media or other outlets started taking on a distinctly nationalistic tone, this would serve to confirm in part this particular scenario.

The other prime option is Richard Dolan's Break-Away Civilization.  Based on well reasoned arguments put forth by Dolan, Farrell and others, it is safe to assume that there could be a new civilization, completely divorced, or nearly so, from what most of us know.  This group is reasoned based on supposed advances in technology, including the ability to traverse vast distances in space.  This technical superiority would increasingly isolate this group from the rest of us here on terra firma to the point that ultimately it would simply break off and form its own unique culture.

Due to the nature of this supposed entity, its motivations and abilities are unknown to us and any attempt to fathom them is pointless without more information.  We cannot even speculate on whether Trump's victory would be a benefit or detriment to them, since we don't know what their needs or desires are.  By necessity, we must eliminate this possibility until additional information is available.

So that leaves us with the Nationalist/Patriot faction of the deep state as the most likely culprit.  In this regard, we have several data points, including the mysterious Steve Pieczenik and his coup/counter-coup.  He has continued to update his website and frequently posts rather cryptic messages on his Twitter account aimed at a rather bizarre assortment of people, leading to further speculation that this is an ongoing psy-op.  These posts contain thinly veiled threats regarding who will and won't be allowed to join the administration.  This strongly suggests a deep state actor, but we must be careful, as that impression is likely to be a deliberate misdirection in itself.

Suffice it to say that this has been a most unnerving election on all fronts.  There are far more pieces in play than is comfortable to ponder.  Going forward, all of the players bear close examination as we try to get a handle on what happened and will happen.  Without a doubt, though, 2017 and beyond will be a most interesting experience for most of humanity.

Paging Dr. Caligari

It's been an exciting week here at the Far Side Global Headquarters (FSGHQ).  It's not often we get such enormous globules of juicy news like those served up the past few days.  One gets the sense that we have witnessed a major turning point in world events, though it is, 1) difficult to discern these things when one is in the middle of the events, and 2) it remains to be seen whether or not Trump will honor his promises, since he is holding his first-ever elected office.

We here at the FSGHQ would like to go on record right now to say that, sorry folks, Trump will be a major disappointment and probably a disaster.  To see our track record on this score, please check the 2008 archives, where we called Obama's legacy to the letter.  Though not on this blogsite, we did the same for Bush the Younger.  It's easy to do, just say the same thing about anyone who gets elected.  It will always be true, because the System cannot be repaired from the inside, regardless of the intentions of the person/people involved, but we already covered that earlier this week.

It seems appropriate at this point to recall a sign my dad had on his desk in the Texas Senate: "When you're up to your ass in alligators, it's hard to remember your first thought was to drain the swamp."

One comment we have encountered frequently of late is that, "Donald Trump is the MOST divisive presidential candidate EVAH!"  We surmise that history is not one of these folk's strong points, since George C. Wallace was not all that long ago.  It should also be noted that he was a Democrat.

If we sound like we have a bit of glee in our voice, then you would be reading between the lines correctly.  We love moments like this, when a major chunk of the world's population is stunned into silence - and no one was killed.  A rare moment indeed.

To us Far Siders, huddled deep in the jungles of Borneo, the truly amazing thing was not just Trump's win, but that the Republicans got majorities in the House and Senate, and took a good number of gubernatorial posts, as well.  This wasn't just a vote against Hillary, this was a complete repudiation of the Democrats and their agenda from top to bottom.  The stale old red/blue map hardly has a blue smudge on it.  Even some of the traditional Dem strongholds went red.

This wasn't a win, or a landslide, it was a rout.  This was a good, old fashioned "throw the bastards out" kind of election.  It was Nixon in 1972, although the election map looks a lot like 2008, with a couple of key states turned red.  Clearly, the Klinton Kampaign was counting on a repeat of 2008/2012.

What they hadn't counted on was two things: 1) Scandal Fatigue - a newly defined psychotic state in which voters are just fed the hell up with business as usual, and 2) Ma and Pa Kettle getting exceedingly tired of being shat upon by the System.  It would seem that there is an upper limit to how much Politically Correct Brain-Bashing the general population will take, and gay marriage, queer toilets and gun confiscation look to be the lines in the sand.

So, going forward, what can we expect?  I'm going to lose some people here, but stick with me for a moment.

When so many people are stunned by the results...and I mean 9/11 kind of stunned, and memes like "miracle" and "divine intervention" start cropping up in diverse places, my spidey sense starts tingling.  Folks, at the risk of sounding like a true tin-foil kind cap character here, suppose the Trump victory were a real psy-op, one which Trump himself may or may not be aware of, and one for which the clues have been dropping like flies since at least the summer conventions.

First of all, by every standard metric, Hillary should have won the election.  It was in the bag.  What wasn't covered by normal historical voting habits was covered by extensive vote fraud.  God knows there are enough videos out there about ballot-box stuffing and computerized vote switching.  But all the cloak-and-dagger stuff surrounding WikiLeaks, Dr. Steve Pieczenik and murdered DNC IT hackers just smacks of a psy-op within a psy-op.

This Steve Pieczenik character really disturbs me.  As Robert, one of our long-time readers and mind-blowing correspondents so aptly put it, the deep state has a spokesman now.  His sudden appearance in the closing days of the election, bearing tidings of "soft" coup/counter-coup within the ranks of the US government just smacks of psy-op.

What I'm trying to sputter out here is that suppose the Trump win were a "miracle," with "divine intervention" behind it.  In other words, suppose some faction of the deep state counter-rigged the election to ensure a Trump victory.  In fact, suppose Trump's entire meteoric rise to political stardom and one of the first presidencies since the Revolutionary War days without ANY prior political experience was completely manufactured by some group in order to achieve some goal.

Let's imagine for a moment that Trump is completely unaware of all this.  Instinctively, I believe he is, or rather was until the last few days.  He probably actually thought he was achieving all this on his own volition, but at some level he must be thinking, "What the fuzz was that?"  For the moment, I have to assume he is ignorant because this scenario spins rapidly out of hand if I don't.

The scenario I have built in my head is that Hillary truly represented some nefarious faction that was truly mounting its final take-over of the US government.  This is not far-fetched, since I already believe that Hillary's private server(s) were purposely completely unprotected to give certain groups unfettered access to all the juicy information stored thereon.  I further believe that at least one of the groups given access were the bankster class, who used inside info to rig and hedge markets in their favor, and that Hillary's outrageous "speaking fees" were actually a relatively innocuous means of paying her a cut of the profits from such dealings.

Among the (apparently) many groups who had access to the Hillary Server would have been nearly every group of spooks with any technical savvy on the face of the Earth.  Though the American electorate and the US Congress weren't able to get access to her email, just about every other government on Earth had copies of the Hillary files.  This would have alarmed a significant number of folks in the deep state, both because of her cavalier handling of secrets, but also because of the who/why behind it.

Even before Hillary announced her candidacy, a rather foregone conclusion to anyone conscious, the revelations of her inside dealings began to leak out, with the New York Times picking up the story on 2 March 2015.  From there, the story snowballed, with investigations running in all directions.  However, when the FBI/DOJ openly colluded to clear Hillary of wrong-doing, the WikiLeaks started up, and Julian Assange has made it murkily clear that the leaks were coming from within the US intelligence community, of which there are 17 discrete agencies.

The DNC/Hillary cabal appear to have mistakenly thought that an IT staffer was behind all the email leaks, and rubbed him out.  This hit might have also been a warning to whomever else was involved that you better stop now.  Didn't work, obviously because the real leakers knew that the DNC/Hillary cabal were on the wrong track.

Regardless of why the staffer got waxed, the DNC/Hillary cabal thought they had shut it down.  Just to be sure, though, they had shut down the FBI investigation a few days before and had James Comey publicly announce, "That's all, folks!"  In effect, it was a big "move along folks, nothing to see here."

Well, that didn't kill the story, because several branch offices of the FBI and NYPD didn't stop their investigation.  They were sitting on a treasure trove of 600,000 email found on the laptop of Hillary's closest adviser's husband's laptop.  They had to shut that down too, so once again Comey was wheeled out to "reopen" the investigation, and then one week later shut it down again, with another more ephatic "MOVE ALONG!"

At exactly that moment, this character Steve Pieczenik popped up claiming to, in effect, be the spokesman for the deep state.  He proceeded to fire-bomb the internet with all kinds of wild inferences regarding the inner workings of the DNC/Hillary cabal.  At the same time, WikiLeaks let go of some of its juiciest tidbits, revealing the long-suspected child-sex ring that operates internationally at the highest levels of power (it's a means of ensuring loyalty among the elites).

Meanwhile, all the polls, and I mean the public and private ones, had Hillary winning.  She had done remarkable work installing her network of fraud in the election system and the polls were designed to carefully steer folks to assume that her win on election day was a foregone conclusion that everyone was aware of through voter sampling.  Hell, even the EXIT POLLS were wrong!  Hillary's cabal must have figured out something was up, though, because they cancelled the celebratory fireworks the day before the election.

For all intents and purposes, the election appears to have been rigged, but not in the way that everyone thought it would be.  The Soros-owned voting machines were carefully programmed to give the desired response, but in a show of technical bravado, the deep state had hacked the hack, and carefully seeded a Trump victory into the returns.

That's right, folks, it was an op within an op within an op.  The coup conspirators thought they had successfully pulled off yet another stolen election, only to find that the stolen election had been stolen.  Honestly, is it more plausible that the gods personally steered the election results, or that various factions within the deep state are at war and out-maneuvering each other in cyberspace?

You can see why I have to believe Trump is ignorant, or at least just now figuring this out, because the scenario gets really nasty really quickly once you start figuring in his complicity.  And it gets worse the farther back in time you assume he was actively involved.

What is really worrisome now is that Hillary's concession speech was too measured, too cool, too calm.  Someone who has spent 40 years carefully crafting her image and weaseling into the inner circles of power doesn't just quietly and calmly go into oblivion.  No, she has at least one solid back-up plan, and we ain't seen her end game yet.

My biggest question now is not whether or how it was done.  That much seems obvious to me, at least.  No, the Big Question is what exactly are the motives of the counter-coup faction(s)?

Yes folks, all the indications are that we have tumbled down a very deep rabbit hole and the slow war that has been brewing behind the scenes since at least the JFK assassination is finally spilling over into the daylight.  Whether you believe in conspiracies or not, you have to admit that divine intervention and miraculous victories are better explained as coup/counter-coup.

Reader Robert chose an even better, if a bit more arcane metaphor.  He selected the 1920 German film Das Cabinet des Doktor Caligari as his framework for understanding whatever just happened.  I must say I can't think of a better one.

Landslides And Other Fun

As the old saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words," which won't stop me from putting all one thousand words in the following paragraphs.  This picture is from the New York Times Shock and Awe website.

Notice that the popular vote actually went to Hillary, even if it is a razor-thin margin.  Trump, however, ran away with the Electoral College.

So many thoughts are racing through my mind at this moment, it is difficult to figure out where to begin.  I suppose the very first order of business is to congratulate Trump and his supporters on their rather stunning victory.

Thought number two: please gods let this be the end of the Klinton Krew.  I am so freaking tired on Bushes (already disposed in the primaries) and Klintons.  Forty years will give you SUCH a crick in the neck, said Genie to Aladdin.  With any luck, Trump will live up to one campaign promise - throwing the whole lot in jail.

A note to Trump and his supporters: most Muslims are great people and wouldn't hurt a fly.  Be selective on who you ban.  I know some very find people who want to study at US universities or visit friends and family Stateside, and they are very worried about discrimination and even getting visas.  We can say, though, that with Hillary gone and disgraced, perhaps groups like ISIS will find the future a difficult road to navigate.

Don't know if you noticed - and I didn't do a screen capture at 3 in the morning - but the early returns had Trump ahead by 75% to 80%, versus Hillary's 17%-22%.  I suspect this was the real spread, since it would take that kind of turnout for Trump to so clearly overcome the systemic fraud and vote flipping.  That would be the only way to outpace the percentage-based computer controls and the ballot stuffing with dead voters.  I have to call this a landslide for Trump, because I can see no other way for him to have won than to have at least 70% of actual (legal) votes cast.

The Canadian immigration website crashed and an army of celebs have lined up saying they will leave the US now.  Bullshit.  They've all been saying the same thing since at least Bush the First, and they are all still there.  They won't go too far from their publicists and adoring fans.  There are very few people like me who actually leave because of political disgust.

It's been rather entertaining watching the nattering nabobs (thank you Bill Safire) go into apoplexy over this election.  The media, including the Sultans of Silicon, and the globalist cabal are absolutely stunned.  They were so sure they had this in the bag.  They pulled out every trick they had to get people to roll over and accept their fates.  It must be the recent movements to remove fluoride from public water supplies and the wildfire sales of Big Berkey water filters over the past two decades that are causing people to snap out of their stupor.

Now comes the real fight.  The Wall Street/bankster class is already crashing the stock markets and the dollar will be next.  If you are a smart entrepreneur, you are looking at US exports right now.  At least for the foreseeable future, the game belongs to US manufacturers and the tanking dollar will make the products affordable overseas.  That's exactly what I am doing right now...well, at least after I finish this column.

At any rate, the next few months especially will be rather interesting as the globalists try every other trick in the box to see to it that Trump isn't sworn in.  The fight ain't over by any stretch of the imagination.  The only difference is it will get nastier and will no longer be in your face - they are moving underground again.  Those tremors you feel are not earthquakes, but the thunder of anger in the underground bunkers.

OK, so now we can get on with other business - finally.  Smart folks like the readers here are already thinking about new businesses and opportunities that come with major shake-ups like this.  Even Xi Jinping is looking conciliatory and Duterte (Philippines) suddenly seems to like the US again.  And the Russians?  Well, they are celebrating a successful hack of the US election.  Only Europe is shitting its britches, since they are now alone in their misery.  It's hell betting on the wrong horse.

Did I mention Hollande is getting impeached?  Any bets Merkel is next?  All eyes on Europe for future fun and games.

So, that's our summary.  Not quite what the other guys are telling you, since I actually give ideas on how to capitalize on the New Reality.  As the Chinese like to say, "There is opportunity in chaos."  Regardless of your political bent, one thing is certain: the future belongs to those who don't panic and take advantage of the new reality before everyone else awakens from the shock.

Be real.

We've Only Just Begun

We at the Far Side World Headquarters (FSWHQ) hereby dub today "Twilight Zone Day," in honor of the late, great (and fellow smoker) Rod Serling.  What happens tonight when the vote-counting starts is anybody's guess, at this point, but one thing is certain: tomorrow we wake up in the Twilight Zone.

No matter how you slice the US election, or even whether you live in the country or its various territories, the winner of today's poll will have a profound effect on the world at large, and the relative anger or joy of the puppeteers will most assuredly be reflected in economic terms going forward.  In either case, we are likely to see a whole slew of indictments handed out in the coming months, though I understand that Hillary Clinton can't be touched as long as she wins the office.  She is, however, likely to be a "lame duck" president even before she takes office - much as Nixon was in 1973, a period of history well familiar to Mrs. Clinton.

In any event, tomorrow we will have the Carnival Barker or Cruella deVille holding the trigger on one of the largest nuclear arsenals on Earth, and a great many brush fires around the world to put out or fan into a bonfire, as the case may be.

We here at FSWHQ have no horse in this race.  If ever there was a time to keep one's hands clean, now is it.  No matter what the outcome, there are going to be a lot of pissed off people, and not all of them will be US citizens.  Within the coming year, we fully expect to enjoy the right of saying we told you so, no matter what the outcome, and like Pontius Pilat, our hands will be spanking clean when the time comes.

Being a political atheist means never having to regret making a bad decision, of which there are several to choose from this election season.  The most applicable term is "buyer's remorse."  The way we see it, we get nothing from the government (except a passport for which we paid cash), so we invest nothing in the game (except the $100 for a passport).  In the same way we don't buy products that offer us no benefit, we don't buy anything coming out of or going into Washington, D.C.  Simple market economics.

In any event, today marks the end of the War of Words and the beginning of the real war.  If Hillary wins, half the states will start secession proceedings.  If Donald wins, the other half will start.  Neither candidate is likely to be safe nor effective.  They will both have significant opposition to any of their efforts, though the military is more likely to go into full revolt under Hillary.  If Donald wins, the Wall Street/Bankster cabal are likely to crash the economy out of revenge.  Either way, the immediate future ain't pretty.

So hitch up your pants and settle back for the show of a lifetime.  As we have noted numerous times, this election will settle nothing.  It is only the opening salvo in an ongoing process of dissolution.  Regardless the outcome, the US is going the way of the old Soviet Union, with the only major difference being the speed at which it happens.  No entity can sustain a debt economy, and at this point, that economy includes every political entity on Earth.  The planetary economy is a closed system by design, since scarcity enriches those who control the resources.  However, being closed, that system is doomed to failure as its core eats itself from the inside out.

In a sense, this is a natural process as civilization evolves from ancient tribal model to global integrated model.  This primary issue is who will control the new system and will it be open or closed.

Today's election is not the culmination, but the revelation of the two primary poles of the new global dynamic.  Globalization is inevitable, but will it benefit the majority of Humanity, or suck the life-blood out of it?  The enemy has been engaged and the real Battle for the Future is upon us.

Stand by.  We are about to find out who has the initiative.

Strange Gods, Foreign Altars

As a political atheist and long-time evangelist for shunning of all that is government, I must admit that I am positively giddy watching the festering pus ooze out of Washington DC this week.  One this we can be absolutely sure of at this point is that the fun will not end on 8 November.

All my hard-core Democrat friends who have brushed aside the obvious corruption not only in the Clinton crony circle, but within the party itself are suddenly silent.  For the past eight months, at least, they have bombarded us reasonable people with pro-Clinton/pro-Democrat posts on their Farcebook walls, but since last Friday, the steady stream of "me too" material has grown deathly quiet.

My quite vocal opinion has always been that all government at all levels everywhere and at all times is corrupt.  There are about seven people in the world who could maintain their integrity in the face of that much power and money.  The level of corruption increases exponentially with the degree of centralization, as well, to the point you get people like the Clintons who are so corrupt as to be like a Stage IV squamous cell carcinoma that has riddled its host with death and destruction.



If We the People can maintain the level of pressure currently coming to bear on the corruptors in power, then the next year or so could see the most shocking revelations coming forward about nearly every institution and organization with political ties.  And frankly, it's about time.

I believe that the current trend to turning over rocks, combined with the global revolutionary spirit, is a combination ripe for a huge wave of political upsets.  It continues a trend that has literally been brewing in the States since the JFK assassination, through Watergate and Iran-Contra, on into the 9/11 conspiracy.  Most folks believe there is a hidden set of rulers pulling the strings, in one form or another.  One would have to be in a stupor or willfully ignorant not to see some amount of manipulation.

However, we appear to be a a point where it will no longer be possible to "sit on the fence."  Until now, a great many people have gotten by thinking that a certain amount of corruption is just part of the game, but we will soon be faced with a depth and breadth of corruption that there will only be two kinds of people left standing: those who benefit from it, and those thoroughly disgusted by it.  There will be no gray area.

Based on what I am seeing in the "underground" media (ALT media has been co-opted by the System), what has been made public so far is just the barest scratch on the surface.  When the full disclosure begins to hit the mass mind, it will be akin to explosive swamp gas being released in a magnificent flash of realization that we have all been deeply and cynically controlled for a very long time.

What's more, the truth will be so shocking as to leave the majority of folks in a complete stupor, as they have so thoroughly convinced themselves that it's just "power and money," that the real thing will simply pop every circuit break in their minds.

The initial reaction will be a lot of people not only denying the facts, but violently opposing any further attack on their sense of reality.  This is a very dangerous point in time when the masses will turn violently against the messengers.  That would be bad enough, but the criminal class tend to take advantage of that backlash and convert it to an army in their defense.

This moment of realization that everything we have taken for granted is wrong is a particularly vulnerable moment and a shrewd elite can use it to push the mass mind even deeper under their control.  The vast majority of people don't want to be awakened and they will gladly accept a plausible means to suppress reality once again and return to their quiet desperation of willful ignorance.  I suspect this inflection point will be upon us sooner than later.

The true nature of the horrors that have gone on under our very noses is so stunning as to even cause the hardened mind to recoil from the shock.  Those of us who have studied this issue for many years have gone through it a number of times, as the rabbit hole gets deeper and deeper.

Things like "pay-for-play" and "election rigging" are so pedestrian as to be laughable to serious researchers.  However, those issues are just the lead-in to much greater horrors if the mass mind can get past the shock of actually having proof of these minor issues.

We are in the process of peeling away the covers off of strange gods.  Up to now, we have only peeked into the gloom beneath the cover and trends show that we will likely see a lot more before this process is finished.  Those of us with strong minds should not only be prepared for what is coming, but should also steel ourselves to be surrounded by millions of lost and frightened people.  Many will panic as their complacency is torn away and they are forced to gaze upon the ugliness that runs the world.  They will fight their own senses with violent recoil, and as I've noted before, panicked masses are ugly in their own right.

Ironically, in their panic, the masses will turn to the "authorities" who caused the horror for comfort and a return to "normalcy."  The "authorities" will offer soma and sitcoms to sooth the monkey mind and the hypnosis will grow even deeper.  The masses will be directed to attack those who brought out the truth as being the cause of the panic and the draconian fist will slam down hard on the perceived "threats."

This is a very dangerous intersection in history, not only for the unprecedented scope of the problem, but because of the refinement of the tools available to the "authorities" to entrance the masses.  People don't like to be pushed to make unpleasant choices and realizations, and they will fight tooth and nail to avoid it.

By the same token, the "authorities" are panicked because their precious positions of privilege are at risk, not to mention their very lives.  They, too, will fight tooth and nail to maintain their hegemony over the mass mind.

The question is the speed with which the truth will be revealed.  If it is trickled out, the masses will have time to assimilate and activate.  If it is a flood, minds will snap shut, eyes avert and the spell will get deeper.  It is a delicate balance of necessity versus practicality.  Only time will tell which will triumph.

In either case, the Clinton scandals are only the beginning.  Now that we have found the tumor, we will begin to see how far it has metastasized.  No one wants to hear they are sick, and especially that they are dying of an aggressive disease.

We are in for a really nasty ride.  Check that your seat-backs and tray tables are in their upright and locked positions.  Turbulence ahead.

Spectators At The Apocalypse

Did you miss me?  Sorry for the day and a half off.  I do occasionally work at productive, paying jobs, and as a freelancer, I have to do a little selling in between to keep the work flow going.

At any rate, I was having a little conversation with Roy over on our Farcebook page about the stunning media melt-down this past year and a half.

As a career media guy who has worked in local news departments for Fox affiliates, large daily newspapers in the Rockies and the film industry, I know for a fact that everything you see on TeeVee is a complete fraud.  It is why I often rant on about turning off your media streams.

Once upon a time, we were still biased, but we were subtle.  We gave better lighting, more favorable camera angles and a few extra seconds of air time to the "preferred" candidates.  Often, we would lead with the "good guy" or focus a bit more on the "bad guy's" foibles.

Now, however, you can practically see them cashing the Hillary for Prez checks.  The late-night "comedy" shows have practically forgotten there are five candidates.  If you watch them regularly, there is only one and he is completely nuts, according to the near-incessant lambasting Trump gets.  If Hillary gets any attention at all, it is more or less an "oh yeah" mention at the end of a five-minute monologue on the evils of Trump.

The "news" organizations might as well just come out and give us a list of all the things they aren't going to cover.  It's that obvious.  I make a habit of reading news sources from all over the world on a daily basis, including a number of "alt" sites that I consider relatively trustworthy.  Frankly, if I didn't, I would have no idea what was really going on.  The Western media, and especially the US, have just gone off their rockers over this election.  Many of the media pie-holes has already blatantly admitted that they are protecting and promoting Hillary.  Since Americans, for the most part, don't believe anything until someone in authority tells them in simple English, we can safely say that the "conspiracy theories" have been put to rest.

What astounds me the most, though, is the bum's rush to demonize Russia.  Having watched several hours of MOS (man-on-the-street) interviews with "average" Americans, it is no wonder this particular piece of brainwashing is working so well.  In fact, most people have no clue about Russia, why it is being railroaded, or the very real and imminent danger that "poking the bear" brings.  The rhetoric is beyond even the more dire and propagandistic things I remember from the Cold War.

If the anti-Russian rhetoric proves anything, it is that Hillary has absolutely zero problems with starting wars and killing thousands, if not millions of people to hide her corruption.  Can you imagine the depravity of a mind that can conceive of such things, much less act on them on a global scale?  Though I cannot in good conscience bring myself to vote for any of the candidates, it is quite clear that Hillary should not even be considered a serious contender at this point.  Anyone who can proudly say they are voting for her has got to be under the most exigent spells ever witnessed.

In yet another layer of amazement, one has to wonder what these people think they will get in exchange for selling their profession and their souls to the devil.

Is there some well-hidden pot of gold waiting somewhere enticing these balloon-headed hair-spray catchers into destroying any semblance of professionalism?  Of course, at this point Hillary must win, because there is no other exit than to have the gratitude of the queen.  Any other outcome will leave these padded wallets in the cold with no credibility and only the most brain-dead audiences.  They have literally cashed in centuries of media development on this election.

The only real winners that I can see are the alt media.  As the depraved Hillary implodes on stage, it will become increasingly obvious, even to the most fried of couch potatoes, that the alt media were the only ones accurately reporting the news.  On way or the other, we are witnessing the greatest shift in power since the fall of Rome.

I have no love lost for the alt media.  For the most part, they are illiterate slime diggers, but folks like Julian Assange get my greatest respect.  He is literate and he has quite literally put his life on the line to let all the poisons in the mud hatch out.  He is a journalist in the great tradition, and a patriot of rare constitution.

Regardless of how all this shakes out in the near term, we are witnessing one of the most profound moments in history.  The repercussions from Election 2016 will touch nearly every life on the planet, and I do not resort to hyperbole in saying this.  If Hillary wins, the resulting destruction of Western civilization will shake the world for the next 100 years.  If Trump wins, the collapse of the media and whatever follows from his administration will have equally earthshaking consequences.

I admit that I have prepared for, and in many ways hoped for this moment, but now that it is upon us, I can hardly comprehend the way it has come about.  It is one thing to image such historic moments, but another entirely to witness it.  I cannot say that I am sorry, because my disgust with the political and media establishments is acute.  What is regretable, though, is the numbers of people that will suffer because it has gone this far, having built up for well over a century now.  However painful it will get - and it looks as if it will hurt quite a bit - we must all take responsibility for having allowed ourselves to be led so far down the garden path.

The collapse of the media is only the most visible and remarkable of the changes occurring, but certainly not the only one.  We can be sure that at every level of the establishment, the ground is heaving and the sky is falling.  They have painted themselves into a very tight corner from which there is only one escape, and that is to put Hillary in the White House in order to complete the take-over.

The blow-dried nincompoops have bought the promise of great power and wealth if they jump onto the establishment lap like a good dog.  What they apparently fail to realize is that either way, they have already lost everything, it's only a matter of gallows or guns as to how they are dispatched.  At some level, I feel sorry for them, because they bought the same siren song that we all did, they just had better seats and the feeling that they were part of the inner circle.

As for the rest of us, the best thing we can do to save our sanity at this point, is to become dispassionate and remove ourselves as far as we can from the emotional destruction that is heading our way like a light-speed freight train.  Panic is self-defeating and fear prevents clarity.  This has been inevitable since it began.  Nothing lasts forever, even the best laid plans of mice and men.  We can choose to be victims, or take control of the situation and, as the Chinese say, find the opportunity in the chaos.

The rather amazing run of relative stability we've enjoyed since WW2 is at an end, and the scale of the collapse ensures that at least the next three generations will find the world little resembles what they were told to expect.  Ultimately, this is a good thing, but like a good roller coaster, there will be many hair-raising moments getting to the other side.

Turn off the TeeVee, tune in reality and prepare yourself to witness something that will be the stuff of legends long after we are gone.

On Crystal Balls And Monkeys

With mere days left in US Election 2016, we here at Far Side Global Headquarters (FSGHQ) are prepared to issue our predictions for the coming month and beyond.  Brace yourself...it ain't pretty unless you are a political atheist who enjoys watching people's illusions melt in the hands, not in their mouths.

Imagine the 2000 election on steroids.

First of all, Hillary will be taken out of the race in a very public and unequivocal way due to health problems.  This may occur around the final debate or soon after, so that it is quite visible and no one can deny it.

The Party Apparatchiks will quickly replace her with a new candidate.  We don't think it will be Kaine, but rather someone out of left field.  This will cause a rash of problems as the Dark Forces scramble to update all the infrastructure they've put in place to steal the election, including millions of voting machines and the networks that control them.

In part due to Hillary being taken out, and part to Trump already commanding a sizable number of folks, he will win the election on November 8th; however, it ain't over till the corpulent female yodels.  The mess with the voting machines and networks will expose the vast corruption behind the scenes.  The PTB will try to claim that the results are not valid, due to some kind of "interruption" of the voting process and the fact that it wasn't fair for the Democrats to run a campaign less than a week long.

On the other hand, the Trumpians and folks who believe the election is what it is will argue loud and long that "they paid their money and took their chances," and despite the obvious election rigging in favor of Hillary, a win is a win.

But that's not all!

Due to the Trump win, the Globalnuts will immediately start collapsing the economy like spoilt children who don't get their way.  Massive economic disruptions will start within days of the election and continue through the end of the year, at least.  They will also start riots around the country and promote "civil unrest" to show their displeasure with the American electorate.

All of this will cause an almost revolutionary call to dismantle the Federal Reserve and the banking system, but the fever will take on new highs when the election is declared invalid and/or some procedure is invoked to install Hillary in spite of the outcome.

At this point, New Hampshire, Texas, Alaska and Hawaii - and probably a few other states - will begin procedures to secede from the Union.  Texas, already having an independent power grid and large economy of its own with substantial gold and oil reserves, will call for independent-minded folks to move in and help out with the effort.

The media, beginning this week, will be in complete melt-down.  All their cafeful plots and plans will fly right out the window and things will only get worse from there.  During the ensuing chaos, they will try desperately to regain their positions as thought-leaders and gate-keepers, but the masses will simply tune them out.  They will be having complete conniption fits on-air as they try anything to get people's attention, but will find they squandered any respectability and influence in the past year.  For those who like to see pretentious, self-important grown-ups cry, this will be an absolute hay-day!

All power structure at the federal level will collapse.  The Obama administration and Congress will have no power, since the passing of the election will leave them marking time until new folks are sworn in in January.  In addition, the various agencies will polarize, seeing the chaos as an opportunity to express anger over the politicization of jobs they thought were honorable (e.g. - FBI, DOJ, NSA, etc.).  In short, the normal power structure will be unable to respond with either force or coercion, further eroding the image of fear they use to maintain power and control.

There will be a blatant attempt to seat the Democratic candidate as president in January, but this will only enhance the collapse, rather than quell the chaos.  Even die-hard Democrats will not support this person, because the corruption will be so obvious.

Meantime, the economic melt-down will continue apace, in part as punishment for electing Trump, and part because it was the plan all along once the elections had passed.  At some point, it becomes self-sustaining and no one will be able to stop the melt-down, kind of like a Fukashima reactor writ large.

Due to both its internal dynamics, and the extreme forces from outside, the Western banking system will shut down.  Having no weapons left to manipulate with, and having nearly the entire world hammering at it like Visigoths at the gates of Rome, banking corporations will start going toes-up in a domino effect up to and including the Federal Reserve, which will be blamed for most of the problems, economic or not.  Hordes of banksters and financial types will flee the country, while mobs of angry citizens surround their homes and offices demanding justice.

And that's about as far as we can see, since the damn monkey just ran through the hut and stole our crystal ball - cheeky bastard.

At any rate, probably not a bad idea to buckle up and get ready for the ride of a generation or two.  If you are the prepper type, forget it.  If you can't carry it without Atlas Van Lines, you'll just have to leave it.  Work on your brain instead, since no matter how much information you stuff in it, it never gets heavier, and you are highly unlikely to lose it unless you run into ISIS, but at that point, not much of anything will matter.  We prefer good back-packs with a camp shovel, a hammer, a saw, and one of each kind of screwdriver.  If you can't do something with those tools, then it ain't worth doing.  Don't forget your SpaceBlanket (tm) too.
