Themes, Memes And Control

We can always depend on our good and faithful reader Linda to come up with some deep ponders du jour:

Let's tackle the Syria thing first.  Last night, I watched an old favorite called Bob Roberts.  This is one of those forgotten gems of cinema.  It was written, directed and stars Tim Robbins, and features performances by Gore Vidal, among many other fine turns on the stage.

Though the film came out in the early 90s, and is obviously a liberal parable cautioning against the neo-cons, in the post Clinton and Obama years, it has become even more poignant in that one sees through both sides (liberal and conservative) of the argument.

Gore Vidal's thoughtful character is like something out of a Woody Allen piece, dropping thought-bombs every 15 minutes.

Ultimately, the film leaves the viewer with overwhelming dread of the military-industrial-security complex.  Though it is going on 30 years old, it is amazing to see just how relevant it remains in its observations of the National Security Council - which has morphed into the NSA in our time.

And this leads around to Linda's comments on the impending Syrian war.  I, too, feel that it is lost before it is begun, and no, I don't refer to Assad's side.  But why the rush to war?  George Ure suspects the Leviathan oil field, but that is too easy...too obvious.  Others speculate that it is a geo-political stepping stone to Iran.  Again, with the overwhelming sky superiority of NATO and Israel, there is no need to take out Syria before going full-bore against Iran.

No, this is all about fulfillig prophesy.  Yes, you read that right.  This is intended as the provocation that will lead nations to rise up against Israel.  You see, as Joseph Farrell says, the fulfillment is the deception.  When one controls the interpretation of prophesy, then one can control the fulfillment, and thus control masses of people.

 Millions, if not billions, of people believe in Revelations, the final book of the Christian Bible.  Even if they put little or no stock in the rest of the book, they all know about the number of the Beast, the rise of the anti-Christ and all that stuff.  Since they have been taught a particular interpretation of the prophesy, and that interpretation obviously serves a group that would like to run the world, then it stands to reason that the power-mad group would want to make it appear that their interpretation of Revelations was coming to pass in order to control billions of people.

Look at it this way...if you believed that the ultimate triumph of your faith would be the destruction of the world, and you believed in a certain interpreation of a prophesy that said certain events would come to pass before the ultimate triumph, and you saw those events taking place, would you do anything to stop them?  If you answer "no", then you are controled by a small group of people working to make certain events take place.

So, if nations arise to attack Israel before the rise of the anti-Christ, and the anti-Christ must come to power before the Christ will come, then would you fight against any chain of events that appear to be fulfilling the prophesy?

Even if it is only on a subconcious level, if you put any stock in the interpretation of the book of Revelations, then you are likely neutered at some level to prevent you from attempting to stop the rise of the anti-Christ and the world government and the Final Tribulations.  Even worse, if you are a follower of the evangelical clap-trap, then you believe that you will be spirited away and won't have to suffer the death throes of our civilization, so you would likely work actively to cause the chain of events to occur.

Thus, if Syria appears to be a key stepping stone to the destruction of Israel and the rise of the anti-Christ, then you are not likely to seriously fight against the war, whatever your personal feelings, because it will ultimately lead to the return of Christ.

On the other hand, those who want to take over the world are carefully choreographing events to fulfill the interpretation of prophesy so the masses will put up no resistance since they believe what you are doing is necessary for the ultimate triumph of their faith.  As Karl Marx said, "Religion is the opiate of the masses."

It appears to me that the Syrian war is inevitable because no one will resist it, even if the war is repugnant to them.  At some level, most Westerners have had a certain interpretation of Revelations installed in their philosophical foundation, and so their actions are informed by certain beliefs in how history should unfold and will do nothing to prevent it.  It's like a mental corral allowing us cattle to move only in the direction our captors desire.

Thus, the Syrian war seems destined to occur, and if not Syria, then something similar.  It seems that for years now, the Hidden Hand has been stirring up certain events, waiting for the moment when events would conspire in just the right way to allow them their opportunity.  Which brings us back to the opening comments on Bob Roberts.  As you watch the film, keep in mind that it was produced in the early 90s.  The reason is that the movie sounds as if it could be torn from today's headlines.  The global situation has not changed one whit.

The Hidden Hand has been pushing a very specific agenda for at least the past 40 years.  They want certain things to happen in a very specific region of the world in order to launch a very specific chain of events that serves their plans.  At a certain level, nothing has changed since at least the mid-70s.  Some group, the Hidden Hand, will not rest until they can provoke an all-out attack on Israel and start the dominoes falling that will put them in possession of the entire world, with nary a whimper of resistance from a significant number of people who believe these things absolutely must happen.

It's diabolically clever, really.

As for the homeless round-up.  Here's another example of media being used to desensitize the masses.  The round-up and use of the disenfranchised members of society has been a common theme in science fiction for some time.  Specifically, I can think of certain episodes of Max Headroom and Star Trek: The Next Generation, in which the invisible members of society feed the needs of the privileged classes.

The media have been used to plant these memes in the popular culture so that when the real stories appear, people will - consciously or not - dismiss them as fiction.  Thus, people will simply ignore any stories concerning the round-up of homeless as either complete fiction, or that someone else (the star) will solve the problem and there is no need to act on it.  It's a very subtle and devious effect of mass media that few stop to consider.

It's common for tyrannical regimes to start their internal clamp-downs on the invisible and undesireable.  The Nazis began with street people, gypsies and other groups that society viewed as useless.  This is a valuable training ground for the minions in that it desensitizes them to suffering and pain.  Thus, when they are loosed on more mainstream parts of society, their normal revulsion against such things will already be subverted.  They will come to see any member of society that is targeted for them as useless and undesirable.

It's basically the same programming that has been going on in America's police forces for years.  First, they are taught to treat the drug pushers and other undesirables with contempt, and to view them as enemies of war.  Eventually, that mind-set is turned on all citizens, so that even the soccer mom in the mini-van pulled over a tail lamp is a potential threat and must be treated with suspicion and force.  The us-versus-them mentality is very important when turning one part of society against another.  It's much easier with a foreign enemy that is easily objectified, but takes some training when its a neighbor.

Once again, our good friend Linda has caused us to think.  We try to avoid such things around here, preferring vacuous ramblings to wrestling social and philosophical issues.

To this screed, we would add that it's important to stand back far enough from current events in order to see the larger picture.  There are themes and memes that run through decades, even centuries, that can be used to control a lot of people.  Even more sinister is the planting of such things in order to gain control.  That's why it is one of our pet themes around here to turn off the media, and/or spend a lot of time learning how it works so that we are not suseptible to its effects.

The other important theme is questioning all our basic assupmtions and beliefs, with no sacred cows.  We are at an important nexus in history and we can not afford knee-jerk reactions based on beliefs that were implanted in us from birth.

We must queston loyalty to religion and government.  We must challenge our most fundamental constructs.  Just like bacteria, viruses and chemicals, it can all be weaponized and used against us.  We must examine the foundation and construction of all our basic assumptions of life.  Also, be especially on guard against being manipulated by symbols - another topic we have explored at length around here.

These are dangerous times to operate on auto-pilot.  The storm is coming and we must take manual control of every function of the ship.  It's not easy, but anything worthwhile rarely is.

If you are the praying type, then now is a good time to pray that the men and women of the US military find the courage to not fight.  There comes a time when it is imperative to refuse illegal and immoral orders, and this is one of them.

At The Mercy Of Symbols

How often have you stopped to consider how much of our lives are controlled by symbols?  When you think about it, we are literally ruled in every aspect of our lives by abstractions.  We submit to costumes, pictures and pretty words without hardly a thought to what we are doing.  Isn't it time we started questioning some of our most basic assumptions?

At the root of most cultures is something called 'law'.  Law is nothing more than a symbol for morality and ethics, not the real thing.  Law assumes that human beings are incapable of being kind, generous and loving, and substitutes those real things with codified penalties for not acting like human beings.

Those who profit from making, enforcing and judging laws tell us that without them, humanity would devolve into chaos.  Yet there are precious few cases to point to where the absence of law has led to utter dehumanization.  In fact, it has never, in anything approaching human history, been tried.  The reason is simple: in any group of humans, there are always those who want privileged positions of power over all the other humans.

The only palpable examples where the absence of law existed are war zones, which are artificial contrivances by the very people who create the laws.  Because war is, by definition, the breakdown of normal order, the result is naturally chaos and anarchy.  To point to those situations as justification for legal systems is rather disingenuous, at best.

In fact, the vast majority of people do not need laws.  Most people live their lives blissfully uncaring about laws because they don't need them.  Any given individual is driven by a desire to be left the hell alone to go about their business of raising and providing for a family.  For the most part, legal systems impinge on that normal desire.  Policing agencies, tax authorities and government at all levels are all designed to do one thing: interfere with the individual's life.

To do that, government agencies use a complex set of ritual costumes, logos, emblems, songs, pledges, and ultimately weapons to force people to conform to an abstraction that approximates morality and ethics.  We are all indoctrinated from birth to fear those symbols and do whatever they order without question under penalty of death.  Incarceration is nothing more than a form of living death because it robs us of some amount of our lives.  However, most of the infractions encoded as law are of little consequence other than to maintain control over the individual for the profit of another individual.

For instance, drug laws do little to protect me from you.  People who do drugs do little harm to others.  One could argue that the drug user harms their family, but that is hardly the concern of society.  That is a problem for the family to address and deal with.  Others argue that the drug user is a drain on society in lost productivity and additional resources such as healthcare.

That person's productivity means absolutely nothing to society other than in the loss of tax revenue to the state.  As for additional resources used, that is only a concern in cases where society at large is robbed of productive output to pay for the drug user's needs.  If the drug user is forced to pay for his own care, how has that affected society in general?

There are many people, commonly referred to as bleeding-heart liberals, who say that it is society's responsibility to save the individual from himself.  I beg to differ.  Society's function is to provide a mutually supportive network of individuals.  If someone doesn't want to avail themselves of it, why must they be forced, except as an exercise in control exerted by people who believe they are empowered to do so?

How many times have we heard that we should respect the office, if not the man?  We are supposed to show due respect for judges, elected officials and the like by the virtue that they hide behind revered symbols.  A judge is no more qualified to determine whether I am right or wrong than any other person on the planet.  But put him in a black robe and surround him with flags and seals and seat him on a platform, and suddenly this man stands above all other humans in his ability to determine the fate of others.

Take away the symbols and these people are indistinguishable from any other sot on the street.  They are just a fallible and prone to error as any other human on Earth.  The only difference between a judge and a rapist is that the judge has been trained to manipulate a symbol called 'law'.  But it sure doesn't take a judge to know that the rapist's actions are wrong.

A policeman is no more immune from the temptation to commit crime than any other human.  But give them a silly little uniform with lots of emblems and badges and suddenly that stand apart from all other humans as enforcers of an abstraction called 'law'.  It doesn't take long before the human in the silly suit starts to think that he is more special than the rest of us because people fear the symbols he hides behind.  That feeling of power almost invariably translates into the belief that he can break the law with impunity.

These are but a few examples, but once you start pondering this problem, you quickly realize that we grant a tremendous amount of our personal power and responsibility to nothing more than symbols.

Money is a symbol, and those who accumulate a significant amount of money are perceived to be more special than the rest of us.  You can take a homeless man and a banker, have them say the exact same thing, but people will discount the homeless man while giving great weight to the banker.  The only difference between the two is a suit and some money...symbols.

Another good example: how many people do you know with college degrees that are complete boneheads? Yet how many employers would give greater weight to the degree (a symbol) over someone far smarter with an 8th grade education?  And this in spite of the fact that some of the greatest minds in history did not complete a high school level education.

Symbols run our lives, but we devote precious little time to questioning the basic assumptions behind those symbols.  Take TeeVee commercials, for instance.  Take any old actor, put them in a white lab coat and sling a stethoscope around his neck, and suddenly we imbue him with the authority to speak about our medical needs.  Put a ring on his finger and we assume he is married - take it off and we assume he is not.

Place an actor in a kitchen with a bag that has a loaf of bread and a bunch of celery sticking out of it, and we assume that they just came home from shopping, not stealing those items from their neighbor.  Put an actor in overalls and have him wipe his hands on a rag, and suddenly he's an expert on car engines and motor oil.  And worst of all, take a celebrity face and have them expound on the virtues of your product and people will give his opinion far more weight than some putz standing on a street corner.

Our entire lives are run by symbols, and more insidious, those symbols are controlled by people who want something from us that we would otherwise be unwilling to give up.  The fact of the matter is, if all authority figures were to disappear tomorrow, it wouldn't take long before life settled right back to normal.  Sure, there would be a few bad apples, but they wouldn't last long as now you and I and our friends and neighbors would start relying on each other rather than muscle-bound boneheads in silly outfits who could care less whether we lived or died - as long as they get their pension and paycheck from you.

Individuals are more than capable of running their own affairs.  Mutually supportive groups of individuals are far more effective than layers of authorities whose only motivation is to get paid for producing nothing.  The only thing that keeps us from doing away with the whole damn lot of them is symbols, and the conditioning we receive to surrender our personal power and responsibility to those symbols.

We are fast approaching an epoch in history where all the symbols that have ruled us for millennia will break down.  As we sit here, all those layers of authority are crashing down around us.  People no longer trust government.  Money is no longer all-powerful.  Laws have so far overstepped the bounds of reason that people are rejecting them out of hand.  Schools, religion, science are decaying rapidly.  Eventually, the preponderance of lies and weight of corruption will erode any last vestiges of trust in the underpinning symbols of our civilization.

What then?

We have come to a point in history when those who manipulate symbols are making a concerted effort to unify all their symbols into a worldwide power base.  At the same time, individual humans have been empowered like no other time in history.  All the while, humans are going increasingly distrustful and unwilling to surrender their power to traditional symbols because of the heavy weight of corruption behind them.

When it all collapses, as it must at this point, are we prepared to take back the individual responsibility implied by the loss of the symbolic power structure that has ruled our civilization for thousands of years?

This is an important question and one that must be widely debated over the next couple of decades.  How we answer that question will determine the course of humanity for a long time to come.  It will profoundly affect every aspect of life for our descendants.  Will we simply replace our current symbols of power with another system like it?  Or will the individual become the ultimate symbol of ethics, morality and enlightenment?

Our technology has placed power at the most democratic level possible - the individual.  This is an awesome responsibility, but also a liberating one.  We have the ability now to make each person their own legislature, judge, pope, and police.  We have the power to make each of us an authority, expert and professor.  But we can just as easily piss away the opportunity and allow the corruption to continue unabated.

Will we continue to respects the office or the person holding it?  Will we continue to allow the will of others to be forced upon us through fear of symbols?  Will we take back the responsibility to chose our own paths, and accept the consequences good or bad?  Or will we continue to abdicate that personal power out of laziness and ignorance?

The profound implications of our current epoch are mind-boggling in their breadth and scope, but the challenge before us should not stop us from thoroughly considering what we want for humanity going forward.  Our progeny will either respect us or deride us for the choices we make now.

The first step is a complete examination of the symbols we fear and submit to in our daily lives.  Is self-rule really as frightening and chaotic as we are told, or is that a fairy tale to reinforce the stranglehold on power that a very few have in our society?

Perhaps it's time we found out.

Symbols Of An Alien World

What do you feel right now, as you look at the image to the left?  Do you feel anger, revulsion, pride, nothing?  When you opened the page, did you feel a brief moment of shock?  Or confusion?

If you lived in Thailand, every day you would greet people with, "Sawasdee krab!"  A form of the word 'swastika.'  If you get an invite to a Buddhist or Hindu wedding, you are likely to see the this symbol all over the invitation.

In fact, it is one of the oldest symbols in human history.  It appears in cultures all over the planet.  Except in post-WWII Europe and America, this symbol communicates good luck and good fortune.  It has many forms and has been found scratched in petroglyphs in North America, ancient jewelry in Europe and in religious art in Asia.  It can be 'left-handed' or 'right-handed.'  I've seen old buildings built in the 20s, in Texas, that had swastika tiles all around the main entry.  It's still there, on Milam Street in Houston.

Signs and symbols are all around us and we are indoctrinated to have certain reactions and thoughts and feelings when we see them.  It's a major part of how we are controlled, and how we are lied to about reality.

Edgar Allen Poe's poem, The Raven, is one of the finest verbal uses of symbology I have ever encountered.  I've frequently used it in my language classes as a way of teaching connotation and interpretation.  The bird itself is a cultural symbol of death, but the poem goes on to include winter, purple colors, ghosts of dying embers, and so forth.  Every line contains some reference, overt or covert, to death.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
            Only this, and nothing more."

Symbols are not only visual, but verbal.  In some ways, the verbal symbols can be much more powerful than the visual, though it is often repeated that a picture tells a thousand words.

Try this one on for size...

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. 

Ignoring the fact that everyone always interprets the last line as a real number, let's look at the verbal symbols.  The mark is placed on the hand and forehead.  Symbols?  He controls their labor and their thinking.  When you want to start a business, what is the first thing you do?  Get a license, right?  When you want to travel, what is the first thing you do?  Get a license, right?

You are already owned and controlled.  Sorry to tell you, but you can't even imagine driving your car without premission from 'the beast.'  You can't even imagine opening and operating a business without a license, or incorporating.  You are already owned and controlled.  Your mind can't even conceive of things that used to be a foregone conclusion.  It used to be, if you wanted to start a business, you hung out a shingle and started. If you were good and had a fair price, you thrived.  Now you need a license, documents, tax information, insurance...the list goes on.  You are owned and controlled, even as you sit reading this.

Let me challenge you again.  What was that line?  He shall cause all to take the mark on their hand and head? Hmmm...how about this photo?

See any marks/symbols on this soldier's head and hand?  It's called tefillin.  I'm even willing to bet your very first reaction is denial, and the second involves the word "anti" somewhere in it, right?

Everything you think, everything you feel, all your reactions have been implanted in you.  You don't even notice them any more.  When you were a kid, you most likely questioned these things, because you had never encountered them before.  Now, you just react without even thinking.  You see a picture or hear a word, and you immediately feel some emotion and react in some way.  You have been programmed and controlled.

In Thailand, elephants are work animals, just like horses in my dear native land of Texas.  When an elephant is born, it's training begins.  It's right-rear leg is tied to a stake, which is driven into the ground whenever the animal is not working.  By the time it reaches adulthood, the owner has only to slip a rope around it's foot, and this massive, powerful animal will not move for love nor money.  In it's mind, the rope means that it is staked to the ground and it cannot move until the rope is taken off.

When I train my cats, I use a spray bottle full of water.  When they do something I don't want, I spray them in the face.  Perfectly harmless, but they hate it.  After three or four times, I just have to show the bottle, and they react, out of pure fear.  They are owned and controlled.

Think of all the symbols around you every day that you obey without even thinkig about it.  Here's a great one!  Take an octagon and pain it red and put four letters on it.  When you see it, what do you do?  You have been programmed and controlled.

This is not to say that some symbols are helpful.  Certainly, stopping at a stop sign prevents damage to property and injury to life and limb.  But do it consciously, not just because you are a trained circus animal.

The pigs, oops, I mean cops, these days are out of control.  We have deep-seated fear of them because they wear certain symbols that we have been trained to fear and dread.  Those uniforms and badges and the funky Bat-belts with all the gear on them.  It just strikes dread into you, doesn't it?  When you see the flashing lights in the rear-view mirror, you panic, right?  You are owned and controlled.

The pigs, I mean cops, use trained dogs to do their dirty work.  If the pigs, I mean cops, want to search your car, but you stand up for your rights as a human being, they bring in the trained dogs.  Even if the dogs don't smell anything, their master can give a subtle sign, like raised eyebrows or a pointed finger, and the dog will go ape-shit on the trunk of your car.  That dog is owned and controlled, just like you.

The point here is to start being conscious of how your are being manipulated.  Stop looking at the rope around your leg as having any more power than what you give it.  The most evil and insidious chains are the ones around our minds.  The first step in removing them is to realize that they are there.  The problem with these mental chains is that they can be so effectively hidden, and yet so powerful.

 It took me 15 years to uninstall the Catholic training I had received as a child.  I had so much guilt and fear that I couldn't function effectively.  Once I realized what was happening, I could begin to re-train myself.  Eventually, I could choose my reactions rather than turn into a quivering bowl of jelly at the mere symbols that had been programmed into me.

When you looked at the symbols in this article, you had immediate and subconscious reactions to them.  I can guess at what they were by cultural similarities, but I have visitors here from 88 countries.  They will all react differently, but they will react.  The important thing is that you notice what you felt at the first moment you looked at the images.  Then figure out why you did that.  Then uninstall it.

Stop letting flags and uniforms and badges and other symbols of power control you.  Take away that power.  A dollar bill is just paper and ink.  It has no value but what has been installed in your mind.  Locks only stop honest people.

You first taste of freedom is when you can look at your money and just see paper, or start a business and the only permission you need is your own.

You are your own master, and as such, only you can choose to be a slave.

 “You actually believe that stuff?”  My buddy was incredulous.  How could an intelligent, educated human being in the modern age believe such rubbish?

“Absolutely,” I replied.  “In fact, the proof is in your pocket.”

“You actually think there’s a bunch of modern-day Merlins running around waving magic wands and creating gold out of thin air?”  He could tell I was serious, which made him all the more slack-jawed.

“Look,” I said, “What is alchemy?  I mean, when you think of it, what do you envision?”

“It was a bunch of guys in the middle-ages using magic symbols and incantations, trying to turn lead into gold,”

 he recited from his textbook knowledge.

“So, if I can prove beyond all doubt that what you just described is taking place today, and it actually works, will you admit defeat?”

He looked at me for a moment.  I could almost hear the old parable going through his mind: If a man walks up to you on the street and bets you he can make the Jack-of-Hearts jump out of a deck of cards and spit cider in your ear…don’t bet him.  You’ll only get an earful of cider.

“This I have to see.  OK, sure,” he conceded.

I went to the cupboard and pulled out the only dollar bill I have left.  Kind of a souvenir, and relic of a past life.  I handed it to him.  “There you are.”

He took it and looked at it, then at me.  I could see the crack of a smile starting on his face.  He thought I was joking, or pulling some kind of gag.

“What’s this?” he asked.

“A dollar bill,” I replied.

“Well, no shit.  I can see that.  Where’s your proof?”

“Do you consider that to have value?” I asked.

“Well, yeah.  I can buy stuff with it…not much any more,” he responded.

“What’s it made out of?” I prompted.

“Paper, ink, other stuff like fibers, I think,” he said, the formation of a concept starting to show in his eyes.

“What’s on the back?” I continued.

“The Great Seal,” he said, inspecting the bill.

“See any magic symbols?” I asked.

“Huh?  What do you mean?” he looked a bit nervous.

“The pyramid, the All-Seeing Eye, the incantations in Old Latin, the eagle, the fascae, the stars,” I pointed to them in turn.

“Huh?” he replied, somewhat subdued by now.

“You are holding base materials: paper, ink, various other things.  One it are printed magical symbols and incantations in a dead language.  Because of that, billions of people think it has value,” I explained.  “You are holding alchemy in practice.”

He turned the bill over a couple of times and inspected it closely.  “Oh, come on, you can’t be serious.

It’s fairly common for people to reject what their senses tell them is true, especially when they have been under a spell most of their lives.  Many times they become angry, not because someone snapped their spell, but because they allowed themselves to be taken by it.  They normally respond by attacking the person who broke the spell.

“You’re full of shit, man.  Here…,” he handed the note back, as if it had become infected all of the sudden.

“When we started, I asked you what your definition of alchemy is, right?”  He nodded.  “I have just presented you with an alchemical product that meets every part of your definition.  How am I full of shit?”

“It’s a dollar bill, man!  It’s not some magic thing.  Those magicians were changing lead into gold,” he was agitated now.  The spell was wearing off.

“Right.  They took base materials of no intrinsic value and through the manipulation of magic symbols and words, they turned the base materials into something of value.  Paper into gold,” I rested my case.

My friend sat there for a long moment, pondering what he had just seen.  He had just witnessed real, live alchemy in practice in the modern world.  His mind was struggling to comprehend it.  I knew that in a moment, the usual defenses would snap shut and he would go back to his sheltered world, but for just a moment, he had glimpsed the rabbit hole; he had seen through the ‘matrix.’  It scared him. Like it does most people when they first view it.

Most of us trip through life blindly, secure in what we ‘know,’ and anything that challenges that scares the hell out of us.  People react pretty predictably.  I’ve seen it dozens of times, and even remember my own Awakening.  It’s not easy when you realize that everything you know, everything you believe, everything you’be been taught, is a lie.

To be fair, the people who taught us The Lie didn’t know, either.  We can’t really blame them, though they had the responsibility to learn the Truth, just as much as we are responsible now.  However, my best teachers, the ones who stand out most in my mind, were the ones who taught me to see the holes in the blinders we have pulled over our own eyes.

The reason I can see it so clearly is because I am an alchemist.  I was trained and have a lot of experience as an alchemist.  You might say, I’m a professional, award-winning alchemist.  Because of that, I can smell alchemy a mile away.

I made a living for many years creating false realities using nothing more than electrons and phosphors, or colored dyes on acetate with a light shining through it.  NOTHING you see on TeeVee or in the movies is real…NOTHING.  Even the news, which purports to show reality, only shows you someone else’s point of view, with images and sounds that have been edited and carefully controlled for your consumption.  They also use magical symbols, special music and incantations to control your perception.  Even the stories themselves, out of all the stories in the world each day, are carefully selected to control your image of ‘reality.’

“You’re full of shit, man,” my friend said.  I could see the blinders re-asserting themselves.  Typical reaction.  “I gotta go.  I need to…do something,” he needed to get away from the hole in his reality.  “You almost had me there.”

“Actually, I almost set you free from the ones who really have you,” I corrected.

“Yeah, OK, man,” he chuckled.

Sometimes it works right away, sometimes it takes a while, and sometimes the brainwashing is so strong that it can’t be pierced.  Most people willingly participate in their own imprisonment.  They want to believe in the things their parents, ministers, teachers, and government tell them.  They feel as if they are betraying the ones they love and trust, if they allow the fantasy we all live under to be destroyed.  And so, we actively pull down the blinders any time they start to slip.

We are more comfortable in our fantasy.  We don’t have to take responsibility or action.  We can blame someone else and play the role of victim of circumstance.  Victimhood is a powerful drug.  It gives us absolution from responsibility, draws pity and puts us in a passive role.

Victims don’t have to store food and water for emergencies.  Victims can live on the sides of volcanoes or next to ancient nuclear reactors on a coastal fault zone.  Victims can turn to government to bail them out of every stupid decision they make.  Victims can blame the entire Universe for their misfortune and lack of foresight.

Remember the story of the ant and the grasshopper?  In today’s alchemical world, the grasshopper is the hero, because he is the victim.  The ants must be taxed and enslaved to pay for the grasshoppers of the world.

The next time you need a reminder of just how deep the rabbit hole is, just take out a dollar bill, or rupiah, or renmimbi, or any other piece of worthless paper with magic symbols and incantations on it.  What spell makes that piece of paper have value?

Think about the fact that the entire power and wealth of the PTB/W is based on you believing in the magic and falling under the spell.  The one thing THEY are most afraid of is you waking up from that spell.

The one thing you absolutely must do, is wake up from that spell.

Magicians require two things in order to be successful:

1. 1)      You must short-circuit your normal, healthy skepticism; and
2. 2)      You must never, ever look behind the curtain.

As Orson Welles once said, “Television is a medium, because it is neither rare, nor well-done.”  But, it works because it places you in a trance and fills your head with someone else’s thoughts.

Turn the damn thing off.  Then, look behind the curtain.  Victimhood is so yesterday’s child.

Mithras and the Lamb

The image may be a relief, or free-standing, and side details may be present or omitted. The centre-piece is Mithras clothed in Anatolian costume and wearing a Phrygian cap; who is kneeling on the exhausted ^[20] bull, holding it by the nostrils ^[20] with his left hand, and stabbing it with his right. As he does so, he looks over his shoulder towards the figure of Sol. A dog and a snake reach up towards the blood. A scorpion seizes the bull's genitals. The two torch-bearers are on either side, dressed like Mithras, Cautes with his torch pointing up and Cautopates with his torch pointing down.^[21][22]Sometimes Cautes and Cautopates carry shepherds' crooks instead of torches.

He had a miraculous birth.  He had twelve followers and was co-ruler of the Cosmos with God.  He died and was resurrected.  His cult began over 2,000 years ago.  His followers met in secret underground caverns and celebrated with ritual meals.  The followers were also persecuted by Caesar in public displays of horrific cruelty.

His name was Mithras.

Just about everything about Mithras matches the christian legends.  There are a few minor differeces.  Mithras conquered the Bull, while Jesus conquered the Lamb.  Mithras drew water from a rock, while Jesus turned it into wine.  But, the outlines are there, just the colors change.

Few people think about the symbolism involved in the story of Jesus, nor are they familiar with why things are they way they are.  Those of us of an age all sang the words, "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius," but almost no one knew what they were saying.

Jesus and the Apostles represent the 12 signs of the zodiac, while Jesus himself is Ophuicus, who sits about and watches over the others.  That magical number 13.  The images of serpents are representations of the constellation Draco (the dragon).  Bulls, rams and fish all have specific meanings.

But, I get ahead of myself.  First, let's talk a little science.

If you spin a top and place it on the ground, within a few seconds it will start to wobble, so that the stem draws a circle at both ends.  In the same way, the Earth wobbles around on its axis.  It's called precession.  To complete one cycle takes about 26,000 years, which is called a Platonic year.  The current pole star, Polaris, is only temporary.  There are five of them: Polaris, al Deramin, Deneb, Vega, and alpha Draconis.

As the Earth precesses, the Spring Equinox (in the northern hemisphere) aligns with the Sun so that over time, the Sun appears to enter different signs of the zodiac.  About 7,000 years ago, it was in Taurus the Bull, then Aries the Ram, and now it's in Pisces the Fish.  Next stop, in about 400 years will be Aquarius the Water Bearer.  Each sign corresponds to an Age (e.g.- Taurus, Aries, Pisces, and Aquarius), and each Age has certain characteristics, or 'flavors,' which belong to each sign.  Pisces is said to mark the dominance of art and religion, and it's hard to argue with that.

At the end of each Age is a time called the Messianic era, in which a special king is born, who brings with him the new rituals and signs that mark the new Age.  For Pisces, it is all things water: baptism, ritual washing, water miracles, etc.  The king must also vanquish the old Age in order to start the new one.  The problems come from those who don't want to let the old ways go.

For instance, in the story of Genesis, Moses leads the Hebrews out of Egypt, but they end up building a golden calf with a gold disc between its horns.  Now why would they just arbitrarily build a cow?  Well, it wasn't arbitrary.  It was the Age of Taurus moving into the Age of Aries.  The bull was, of course, Taurus and the gold disc was the Sun.  Ritual sacrifice of bulls was the order of the day.

The appearance of Jesus coincides with the end of Aries and the beginning of Pisces.  This is why he was the Lamb of God and had to be sacrificed, while his followers became Fishers of Men.  Jesus walked on water, turned water into wine, and when he was stabbed on the cross, blood and water came out.

Each of the Apostles were signs of the zodiac and their personalities matched the characteristics of their sign.  They are typically depicted with symbols that represent some aspect of their character, and some (primarily the supposed writers of the Gospels) have the actual sign of the zodiac shown with their image.

Many temples, churches and mosques typically have vaulted or domed ceilings.  This represents the Vault of the Heavens, under which we humans worship.

Back to Jesus, he was the Lamb of God (Aries).  His job was to bring in new symbols and practices for the new Age.  After giving us water rituals and symbolic sacrifice with bread and wine, he was slaughtered in order to kill the old Age and start the new.  This is the meaning of Messiah.  It's an era or a time, not a person.

What all this boils down to is that the Bible is one long, intricate mythology of the Cosmos.  It is a tale woven from asterisms and celestial patterns.  It is designed to preserve and transmit occult knowledge of the heavens, the cycles and patterns there, and the influences projected on the Earth by the movements of the Cosmos (astrology).

This astrology is not the lame, pale cousin found in the daily newspaper or touted by TV shamans, but serious business.  Serious enough that people have fought and died for centuries to preserve this knowledge and keep it as pristine as possible.

It has also been manipulated by those who know the truth to keep us in the dark and chasing ghosts.  Secret societies have sprung up with initiation rituals and priesthoods, in order to both hide and keep alive the secrets that are hidden directly in front of our eyes.  Once you learn the symbols and the code, the Bible suddenly comes alive with metaphor and sacred information.  After all, knowledge of the precession of the Earth requires daily observations and detailed records kept over thousands of years, at least for one Platonic Year. That's a lot of work, and the folks who hold that information aren't going to let it go easily.  On the other hand, they revel in the idea that they know something we don't, and they dangle in front of us as a game.

It gets a lot more interesting, and in the future we'll explore more of the pagent that is playing out on an invisible stage that is literally hidden in plain sight.  In a sense, it is transdimensional, since it exists in the same space that we all occupy, yet it is completely invisible until you have the tools to unlock it.

The only problem is, once you see it all, then you can't see anything else.

The Dawn Of A New Day

This symbol is called a fasces.  The word comes from the Latin, fascis, which simply meant 'bundle.'  It's the root of the English word 'faggot,' which in British English means a bundle of twigs, or in the slang, a cigarette.  The symbol itself means, "strength through unity," which is obvious by the ax head sticking out of a bundle of twigs.  In other words, projecting power out of a unified bundle of people.  Lest Indonesian readers think this has nothing to do with them, then they might recognize this, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika."

Fasces also happens to be the origin of another English word, "fascist."

To really understand what you are looking at, you must also know about the 'eagle,' or 'aquila.'

Notice anything?  For one thing, a lot of countries use the eagle symbol.  For another, it's been around for a long time.  Even the Babylonians used eagle's wings attached to lions with human heads as ubiquitous symbols.

Basically, the eagle represents the Sun.  As the eagle was able to fly so high, and was still able to see the smallest detail on the ground, it became a symbol of the gods.  As the Sun was the chief among the gods, that the eagle could get so close and not get burned meant is was pretty special.

Ikarus and Daedalus of Greek legend built wings of eagle feathers so that they could soar close to the Sun, as well.  Famously, Daedalus got a bit too close and he crashed into the sea.  If the eagle got too close, he would be consumed in flames, but would rise again from the ashes...the Phoenix.

Now the Sun is a big deal.  The symbolism for that thing is huge, deep and complicated.  Suffice it to say that it represents the Light of the World, knowledge, gnosis, illumination.  Those who bear the symbol of the eagle have come close to the Sun, and therefore have special knowledge.  They have been illuminated.  They are Illuminati.

The other thing to note about eagles is that they have two wings, the left wing and the right wing.  The eagle is a two-party system.  The US, of course, is two party.  Most countries that bear the symbol of the eagle are moving towards two-party systems.  Indonesia just passed legislation that will ultimately move it to a two-party system.  Singapore this year is introducing a second party, just so everyone thinks they have a choice.  You can have Communism (the left) or Fascism (the Right).  Either way, the Illuminated win, because both wings belong to them.

It's the hegelian dialectic.  You are presented false choices, then change agents steer the discussion until the masses select one of the preselected choices.  The choice is presented as concensus, though any dissent or alternatives were eliminated before you ever got the choice.

Societies are steered through the use of the hegelian dialectic, making false choices and thinking they have selected what they have.  Meantime, the true leaders, the illuminated ones, manipulate symbols, both to control the masses and to communicate to each other.

One such coded communication is something called, "The New Dawn," or "Dawn of a New Day."  These codes refer to the ultimate subjugation of the entire world under their control.  It's a new world order, in other words.  Novus Ordo Seclorum.  Out of the many, they have crafted one order for themselves, by themselves and from themselves.  E pluribus unum.  Bhinneka Tuggul Ika.  The fasces.  Power projected from the uniting of the masses into one bundle.

Perhaps you noticed GW Bush's Operation New Dawn in Iraq.  Maybe you recall Obama's promise of a New Dawn in US leadership.  In fact, a few seconds on Google searching those terms will bring up literally thousands of examples of 'leaders' and 'famous' people using them.  Go to imdb.com and search the terms in movie quotes and titles.  Bet you never noticed it before.

How about this?

Gee, do you think that could be the 'dawn of a new day' in Obama's campaign logo?

But wait!  Isn't the the 'dawn of a new day' there at the bottom of the Soviet Union's coat of arms?   And aren't those symbolic eagle wings surrounding the whole thing?  The five-pointed star symbolizes Lucifer, the Morning Star, but that's a whole other can of wax, to mix a metaphor or two.

Hey!  There it is again on China's seal, though they gave it a cursory disguise, of course.  And notice how the symbolic wings are also bundles, or fasces, and that they spring from the rising Sun.  The eagle's tail is disguised as a drapery, but the design elements are unmistakable.  Mistakes?  Just coincidence?  Nice graphic elements?  OK, sure.

It's really astounding once you start looking for these things.  The fasces, the eagle, the sun rising...they're everywhere!  They are coded communications among those who think they own humanity.  That includes those who, on this particular day, celebrate the "Son Rise."

The Dawn of a New Day

Oops, did that slip out?  Well, since it's already on the table, go into your church today and see how many eagles and rising suns you can find.  Should keep you busy for an hour or so.  Start with the top of the American flag, if you're in the States.  And while you're at it, see if you can figure out why the state flag has a spear head on it.  Bonus points awarded.

So, next time you wonder if your country is becoming a fascist state, all you need to do is look for the symbols.  Bet you can find a million of them.

Why, just take a look at the US House of Representatives during Obama's State of the Union address.  Notice anything?

Notice the two giant fasces on either side of the podium.  Could it be...fascists?!

Those aren't eagles and fasces, are they?  Naw, I didn't think so...

Here's the Singapore Coat of Arms.  See if you can interpret the symbols.  Hint: lions, 5-pointed stars, crescent moons, and pentagrams are just the beginning.  And is that really the Moon?  Can you think of any planets that present a crescent when viewed from Earth?  Have fun!

Oh, ok, one more hint: how many fingers do the lion and the tiger have showing at the top?  Also, be sure and look at outlines and negative spaces.  That's all.  The rest is up to you.
