The Sorcerer's Apprentice

We live in an age when corporations, even more than governments, can literally "flip a switch" and create information, or make it disappear.

Organizations like Google, Farcebook and all their related and equivalent beasts - including all of China's homegrown copies - are the embodiment of fascist architecture.  No need to burn books when hitting the delete button neatly vanishes the past, and data entry clerks create the future, like hives of Winston Smiths.

There is really only one way to combat this creeping threat.  Buy all the hard-copy books you can find, especially those printed before the 1940s, and especially things like dictionaries, atlases, encyclopaedias, and similar reference books.  The day will certainly come when owning real, printed books will be illegal, a la Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, but until then, the only way to preserve unedited, unmolested knowledge is in a form that cannot be manipulated by the gargantuan media monsters.

An individual is only as powerful as the information he has.  This is why governments spent inordinate amounts of time and money on "intelligence."  Seeking the truth, while denying it to one's enemies is the oldest form of warfare Humankind has known.

When people lie to us, they are in fact committing a form of violence, because when we act on false information, the outcome is likely to be far less than what we were hoping to get.  When Google, Farcebook and others purposely deny us information, they are in fact committing violent acts on us for the express purpose of causing us pain.  Whether they alter the information or block it altogether makes no difference.  It is the denial of true and correct information that constitutes the act of violence.

For centuries, governments has done this.  We variously call it propaganda or false flag attacks, but over the centuries, we have come to expect it from such institutions.  For millennia, religions have done the same.  Governments only usurped and secularized the technique, but the results have been the same.

Now there are corporations who have the power to deceive both governments and religions.  In the digital age, it is not who controls the libraries, it is who controls the transmission.  After all, having powerful information is useless without the ability to transmit it to someone else.  As a corollary to Marshall McLuan's postulate that the "medium is the message," we can now add that the "medium controls the message," and "whoever controls the medium controls the world."

If I have the power to alter, block or manipulate any message sent to anyone on the planet, or worse, to generate messages based on your habits on- and off-line, then I have to the power to deprive you of necessary information, or to change the content of the message. or even worse, to change the information to cause you to act wrongly.

The most devious part of this kind of warfare is that it is now possible to manipulate the messages, disguise the manipulation, and to do it so fast as to make the manipulation seem almost impossible, even if it is suspected.

A couple of decades ago, the US broke up the Bell System, because a single company had full control of all telephonic communications.  Most of the worry then was simply non-competitive control of pricing for access, but I can imagine that if Bell could have manipulated real-time conversations at will and without detection, then the outcry would have been far more urgent.

Before that, the US broke up the Standard Oil Company (Rockefeller's monopoly) because it had complete control of petroleum from the wellhead to the fuel tank.  One entity having this amount of control over something as important as energy rang alarm bells in the minds of millions of people.  Rockefeller not only had the power to set prices, but to control quantity, quality and delivery.  He could force producers to sell lower and force consumers to buy higher, and there was nothing anyone could do.

That those former monopolies acquired so much power as to alarm most rational people and cause a wave of cabal-busting, it is even more alarming that no one seems to have the temerity to take the Googles and Farcebooks apart.  This is because, unlike Standard and Bell, the new monopolies own the government.  They can cut off government just as effectively as any individual.  And those the leviathans can't control with fear, they can simply buy with bottomless cash supplies.

This degree of fascism has never existed before in human history.  We have seen extreme cases on numerous occasions, including the current American and Chinese empires, but never have we seen such power coagulated in so few hands with so little opportunity to control it.  These corporations have endless power to advertise themselves, insert themselves into so many aspects of daily life, and absolute authority to boost or destroy whomever they please, and with the twitch of a finger, they can make any of us vanish - if not physically, then in any other way that matters.  They can control our ideas, thoughts and actions in ways we are hardly even aware of.

Imagine if/when these behemoths launch algorithms that can digest vast amounts of data almost instantly, then act and react faster than most of us can even glance at our watches.  A more serious question arises, though.

If we mere humans are able to break up these digital monopolies, would we find ourselves becoming the Sorcerer's Apprentice?  Would we hack the magic broom into a thousand pieces, only to see each piece become a new attack on our humanity?

These are serious problems and they raise even more serious questions.  We are blithely dancing into our own demise without question who or what we are following.  It is well past time to migrate away from Google and Farcebook and their ilk.  Choke them with the power of the purse.  They thrive on our eyeballs, so we must deprive them of their food.

In the meantime, start building private libraries of books - real, printed books with print dates long before the digital age.  Collect reference books - medical, electrical, engineering, and general knowledge.  They are powerless to block or modify that information, but we should be ready for full on physical attacks on books if they get desperate enough.  Threatened beasts are unpredictable.

Like master pickpockets, they dangle shiny baubles in front of our eyes while sliding their fingers into our minds to steal our humanity and reality.

When things seem too wonderful to be true, they often are.

Toxic Authority And GlobalRev

If up to now, you have been unable to see social engineering in practice, then I invite you to read one of the most disgusting and gut-wrenching trends currently sweeping higher-indoctrination (universities).

Duke University offers safe space for "men" to contemplate their "toxic" masculinity
Google search results

This disgusting piece of slime-sucking social engineering wants to convince men that they are evil simply for existing and that being needy, emotional basket-cases is what the world truly demands from the male of the species.

Heave.  Barf.  Puke.

This rubbish is the culmination of the destruction of the family, cultural degeneration of fathers and the rising dominance of the true toxin: militant feminism.  All of the examples of "toxic" masculinity given in the many articles on this trend (Orlando massacre, Schwarzenegger, etc.) are actually examples of toxic ideology and have nothing to do with gender.  It's like using Lizzie Borden as an example of Toxic Femininity.

Society has, for centuries, had its own controls over excessive male puffing.  There are dozens of examples in culture of primping, preening males being brought down by their own egos and self-aggrandizement, and the process works for any gender by focusing on the personality disorder, not the "toxicity" of one's gender.

Imagine the poor men who buy into this rubbish.  They can never get better.  They will always be men.  And now they will have a life-time burden of hating themselves because a tiny segment of society wants to emasculate men in order to rid itself of competition.

There is nothing wrong with masculinity.  Women are attracted to strong, self-confident and thoughtful men.  It is a natural, genetic function based on hormones which trigger electro-chemical responses overlaid with socio-cultural mores.  It has worked for at least the duration of civilization's 12,000-year history.

What is being called "toxic" masculinity is actually a result of Western culture's decline, with its lack of of self-discipline, anti-intellectualism and a desire to conquer Nature, and is not limited to males, as Hillary Clinton and her ilk clearly demonstrate.  Society's obsession with all things physical at the expense of the intellectual and spiritual has set it on a course of self-destruction that is showing up in concepts such as "toxic masculinity."  This concept belies a deep-seated self-hatred on the part of the culture, which has completely lost its natural moral compass.

There is nothing wrong with masculinity, just as there is nothing wrong with femininity.  Both are, much to the chagrin of political correctness police, completely natural functions based on eons of genetic and social development.  Western culture, primarily through the influence of the Roman Church, has decided that Nature is inherently evil and must be subjugated to human will.  It is a logical, though perverse conclusion of the concept that Creation is corrupt and incomplete, and must be perfected.

This strange dichotomy between profession of a perfect god and the imperfection of his creation has, over centuries of development, led to the idea that Mankind is not beautiful in and of itself, but rather must be polished through the use of engineering, whether social or technological.

This deep-seated concept has been further perverted by small groups with opaque motives into the idea that somehow the feminine is perfect, while the masculine must be subverted and destroyed.  Thsi is akin to yin telling yang it is no longer needed, though the balance of the Universe depends on the juxtaposition of both.

All of this is nothing less than an alchemical working.  The ancient idea that Mankind "fell" from a state of perfection (the androgyn) to one of imperfection (the genders), and must now be "elevated" once again to its original state, has permeated and informed Western philosophy for a very long time.  Thus, the obsessive push to create technology that dominates Nature and the on-going social engineering to destroy gender identity and recreate the androgyn.

Contrast this to the Buddhist philosophy that all humans are unfinished gods that must, through introspection and good works, perfect ourselves into the deities that we truly are.  In the persons of Siddhartha and Guanyin, both genders are shown to be perfectible in themselves as expressions of Nature's duality.

West: god is a third person who created flawed Nature and is deeply disappointed with the outcome.
East: the individual is a work in progress whose goal is to attain the status of god.

This underlying assumption of flaw has led to ages of cultural finger-pointing trying to blame one part or another of ourselves for the original offense against a separate and distant god.

The fault does not lie with our Natures - male/female, man/woman, masculine/feminine.  The fault lies in the fundamental assumptions we have made in our philosophical outlook on the Universe, and we are paying for that fault by attacking our very Natures.  This is, in effect, an intellectual and spiritual cancer that is eating Western civilization from the inside out.  It doesn't help matters that certain groups are using this fundamental misconception against us for achieve whatever ends they have in mind.  Why, it's almost as if this core flaw was purposefully installed to allow manipulation of society at will - a very subtle control mechanism buried deep in the structure of civilization itself.

An unarticulated, and quite possibly unknown aspect of the current GlobalRev is likely an innate "reset" button that Nature has installed in each of us.  This worldwide movement against centralized authority and mental control is likely the thing that certain groups have tried for so long to find (through genetics) and uninstall.  Perhaps that is the real goal of vaccines and GM foods - to short-circuit the "reset" button that has stymied the "authorities" for so long now.  Humans have a default setting that has been the bane of every attempt to subjugate Humanity.  I suspect, though, that the reset button does not exist in physical reality, and so is beyond the ability to affect its function or existence.

In the end, all of these attempts to rewire Humanity are absurd, futile and ridiculous.  The Great Reset Button is ultimately beyond the physical plane and is installed in Nature itself, which can never be subjugated, because Nature cannot be forced to destroy itself.

These silly "toxic masculinity" courses may work for a while, but in the end they are doomed to fail.  Perhaps focusing on perfecting who and what we are, rather than fighting it is the true Path to Enlightenment.  The real GlobalRev is a realization of our fundamental assumptions and a mass correction of our philosophies.

As the meme says, "Question Everything," but most especially question authority of every kind.

Alchemy And Uncertainty

Can you feel it?

Something in the air.  Or a quiver in the Quantum Field.  Or a disturbance in the Force.

Once in a while, we get that fluttery feeling in our gut, what you might call "butterflies," but no quite the same as say, stagefright.  This is more a feeling of foreboding.  It happened the day before 911, it happened in September of 2009, when we experienced our first earthquake, and it happened this morning.

I, like some other folks, believe that astrology has a basis in fact somewhere in its roots.  A while back, I posted some thoughts on a scientific paper that suggested much of the chaos in the world just now are due in part to the fact that we have discovered a bunch of exoplanets in a certain zodiac sign.  Everyone has experienced reading an astrological personality sketch that seems eerily accurate.  And a lot of folks have noticed that certain planetary alignments herald significant events.

Goro Adachi at Etemenanki is one of the people I have followed for decades now, and he has proved to be fairly accurate at pre-reading history.  His latest screed warns that August-September 2016 will be a wild ride, based in part on the alignment of Sun-Venus-Jupiter.

Courtney Brown and the Farsight Insitute's remote viewers have put out a video that indicates a severe event this month, with all the appearances of a large explosion.  We've got two older interviews with Courtney on RadioFarSide, should you want a bit more information about them and remote viewing.

I don't have anything so flashy or mystical as those good folks, but I do have a kind of "spidey-sense" if you will.  I have a particular feeling that puts me on alert, and I've grown to trust it over the centuries, since it has rarely steered me wrong.

I tend to break Life down to sets of variables, and then convert as many to rational numbers as I can and eliminate as much uncertainty as possible to control outcomes to the extent that they can be controlled.  Most of us do that, with varying degrees of detail and success.

Occasionally, though, the variables start to pile up and quickly become more than any individual can calculate.  There are massive political and geopolitical movements washing across history at this moment.  There are waves of events, visible and invisible.  Battles are being waged at every conceivable level.  History is being written as I clack away.

Mighty forces are coming into direct conflict.  Those who want humanity to go in one direction are about to butt heads with those who like the tried and true.

There are frontiers open to our collective species that have barely been dreamed of for ages.  We are on the cusp of events our current generations can only begin to imagine.  Technology has raced far beyond our growth and development as physical creatures.  We have opened doors behind which are questions even our brightest minds could not answer.  And we will be forced to answer then sooner or later.

Many of our best thinkers and researchers today have postulated that Humanity has fractured into two different civilizations (maybe more).  One civilizations has unlocked fantastic technical power, while the other has been purposefully kept ignorant.  The former has pushed the latter as far as it can, and now the latter is kicking back.

Our species is bifurcating.  We are splitting into the "knows" and "don't knows."  Money and things have become irrelevant at this point.  It is knowledge and information that bestows power - at least some power.

Those of us who still live in the "don't knows" category have power of our own.  We are happy, content to live peaceful lives, to experience the ebbs and flows of Nature.  The "knows," on the other hand, like to force Nature, challenge her, bend her to their will.  If we have learned anything from history, this is a bad idea and one doomed to failure.  Those of us in the Aristotelian school subscribe to the Golden Mean, the Golden Ratio, phi.

We have learned that all things circle back on themselves.  The Universe is cycles upon cycles within cycles.  Where one ends depends heavily on where one starts.  If force is the beginning, force will be the end, and it will multiply exponentially when it comes around.

On the other hand, if harmony is the beginning, then harmony will be the result and it will be blissful in its magnitude.

If we take the Buddhist view, there is no need to fight, since whatever the enemy throws at you will come back twice as hard.  While this is a wonderful way of looking at things, it works best when you believe in reincarnation.  I'm not there yet, though I am a firm adherent to the concept of eternal being.

I do believe in passive/resistive force, though.  I firmly believe in using force against itself.  In the martial arts, one can choose to attack or defend.  If one attacks, one loses the weapon of balance and connection to the Earth.  As a defender, one can absorb the force of attack and multiply it back to the opponent.

I love poker.  It is a fun and rollicking game, but it is blunt.  I prefer chess, where strategy and sacrifice can lead to victory.

I don't know why I have gone off on a Sun Tzu pipe dream, but it is related to the feeling I have.  It feels like the entire Universe has reached a nexus of some kind and our trusty maps will no longer function, as the landmarks are changing fast.  I feel it at the mental, physical and spiritual levels.  The Oroboros is shedding its skin and we must choose the new flesh or the dead sheath.

It is an alchemical working, begun long ago and coming to fruit before our eyes.  The problem with alchemy is that no matter how powerful the wizard is, there is always the Uncertainty Principle.

The Challenge has begun.

Magick In Your Pocket

al·che·my
[al-kuh-mee] Show IPA–noun, plural -mies for 2.
1.  a form of chemistry and speculative philosophy practiced in the Middle Ages and the renaissance and concerned principally with discovering methods for transmuting baser metals into gold and with finding a universal solvent and an elixir of life.
2.  any magical power or process of transmuting a common substance, usually of little value, into a substance of great value.
Use alchemy in a SentenceOrigin:
1325–1375;  earlier alchimie  < Old French alquemie  < Medieval Latin alchymia  < Arabic al  the + kīmiyā'  < Greek kēmeía  transmutation; replacing Middle English alconomye,  equivalent to alk ( imie ) + ( astr ) onomye astronomy
“You actually believe that stuff?”  My buddy was incredulous.  How could an intelligent, educated human being in the modern age believe such rubbish?

“Absolutely,” I replied.  “In fact, the proof is in your pocket.”

“You actually think there’s a bunch of modern-day Merlins running around waving magic wands and creating gold out of thin air?”  He could tell I was serious, which made him all the more slack-jawed.

“Look,” I said, “What is alchemy?  I mean, when you think of it, what do you envision?”

“It was a bunch of guys in the middle-ages using magic symbols and incantations, trying to turn lead into gold,”
he recited from his textbook knowledge.

“So, if I can prove beyond all doubt that what you just described is taking place today, and it actually works, will you admit defeat?”

He looked at me for a moment.  I could almost hear the old parable going through his mind: If a man walks up to you on the street and bets you he can make the Jack-of-Hearts jump out of a deck of cards and spit cider in your ear…don’t bet him.  You’ll only get an earful of cider.

“This I have to see.  OK, sure,” he conceded.

I went to the cupboard and pulled out the only dollar bill I have left.  Kind of a souvenir, and relic of a past life.  I handed it to him.  “There you are.”

He took it and looked at it, then at me.  I could see the crack of a smile starting on his face.  He thought I was joking, or pulling some kind of gag.

“What’s this?” he asked.

“A dollar bill,” I replied.

“Well, no shit.  I can see that.  Where’s your proof?”

“Do you consider that to have value?” I asked.

“Well, yeah.  I can buy stuff with it…not much any more,” he responded.

“What’s it made out of?” I prompted.

“Paper, ink, other stuff like fibers, I think,” he said, the formation of a concept starting to show in his eyes.
“What’s on the back?” I continued.

“The Great Seal,” he said, inspecting the bill.

“See any magic symbols?” I asked.

“Huh?  What do you mean?” he looked a bit nervous.

“The pyramid, the All-Seeing Eye, the incantations in Old Latin, the eagle, the fascae, the stars,” I pointed to them in turn.

“Huh?” he replied, somewhat subdued by now.

“You are holding base materials: paper, ink, various other things.  One it are printed magical symbols and incantations in a dead language.  Because of that, billions of people think it has value,” I explained.  “You are holding alchemy in practice.”

He turned the bill over a couple of times and inspected it closely.  “Oh, come on, you can’t be serious.
It’s fairly common for people to reject what their senses tell them is true, especially when they have been under a spell most of their lives.  Many times they become angry, not because someone snapped their spell, but because they allowed themselves to be taken by it.  They normally respond by attacking the person who broke the spell.

“You’re full of shit, man.  Here…,” he handed the note back, as if it had become infected all of the sudden.

“When we started, I asked you what your definition of alchemy is, right?”  He nodded.  “I have just presented you with an alchemical product that meets every part of your definition.  How am I full of shit?”

“It’s a dollar bill, man!  It’s not some magic thing.  Those magicians were changing lead into gold,” he was agitated now.  The spell was wearing off.

“Right.  They took base materials of no intrinsic value and through the manipulation of magic symbols and words, they turned the base materials into something of value.  Paper into gold,” I rested my case.

My friend sat there for a long moment, pondering what he had just seen.  He had just witnessed real, live alchemy in practice in the modern world.  His mind was struggling to comprehend it.  I knew that in a moment, the usual defenses would snap shut and he would go back to his sheltered world, but for just a moment, he had glimpsed the rabbit hole; he had seen through the ‘matrix.’  It scared him. Like it does most people when they first view it.

Most of us trip through life blindly, secure in what we ‘know,’ and anything that challenges that scares the hell out of us.  People react pretty predictably.  I’ve seen it dozens of times, and even remember my own Awakening.  It’s not easy when you realize that everything you know, everything you believe, everything you’be been taught, is a lie.

To be fair, the people who taught us The Lie didn’t know, either.  We can’t really blame them, though they had the responsibility to learn the Truth, just as much as we are responsible now.  However, my best teachers, the ones who stand out most in my mind, were the ones who taught me to see the holes in the blinders we have pulled over our own eyes.

The reason I can see it so clearly is because I am an alchemist.  I was trained and have a lot of experience as an alchemist.  You might say, I’m a professional, award-winning alchemist.  Because of that, I can smell alchemy a mile away.

I made a living for many years creating false realities using nothing more than electrons and phosphors, or colored dyes on acetate with a light shining through it.  NOTHING you see on TeeVee or in the movies is real…NOTHING.  Even the news, which purports to show reality, only shows you someone else’s point of view, with images and sounds that have been edited and carefully controlled for your consumption.  They also use magical symbols, special music and incantations to control your perception.  Even the stories themselves, out of all the stories in the world each day, are carefully selected to control your image of ‘reality.’

“You’re full of shit, man,” my friend said.  I could see the blinders re-asserting themselves.  Typical reaction.  “I gotta go.  I need to…do something,” he needed to get away from the hole in his reality.  “You almost had me there.”

“Actually, I almost set you free from the ones who really have you,” I corrected.
“Yeah, OK, man,” he chuckled.
Sometimes it works right away, sometimes it takes a while, and sometimes the brainwashing is so strong that it can’t be pierced.  Most people willingly participate in their own imprisonment.  They want to believe in the things their parents, ministers, teachers, and government tell them.  They feel as if they are betraying the ones they love and trust, if they allow the fantasy we all live under to be destroyed.  And so, we actively pull down the blinders any time they start to slip.

We are more comfortable in our fantasy.  We don’t have to take responsibility or action.  We can blame someone else and play the role of victim of circumstance.  Victimhood is a powerful drug.  It gives us absolution from responsibility, draws pity and puts us in a passive role.
Victims don’t have to store food and water for emergencies.  Victims can live on the sides of volcanoes or next to ancient nuclear reactors on a coastal fault zone.  Victims can turn to government to bail them out of every stupid decision they make.  Victims can blame the entire Universe for their misfortune and lack of foresight.

Remember the story of the ant and the grasshopper?  In today’s alchemical world, the grasshopper is the hero, because he is the victim.  The ants must be taxed and enslaved to pay for the grasshoppers of the world.
The next time you need a reminder of just how deep the rabbit hole is, just take out a dollar bill, or rupiah, or renmimbi, or any other piece of worthless paper with magic symbols and incantations on it.  What spell makes that piece of paper have value?

Think about the fact that the entire power and wealth of the PTB/W is based on you believing in the magic and falling under the spell.  The one thing THEY are most afraid of is you waking up from that spell.
The one thing you absolutely must do, is wake up from that spell.

Magicians require two things in order to be successful:

  1. 1)      You must short-circuit your normal, healthy skepticism; and
  2. 2)      You must never, ever look behind the curtain.

As Orson Welles once said, “Television is a medium, because it is neither rare, nor well-done.”  But, it works because it places you in a trance and fills your head with someone else’s thoughts.

Turn the damn thing off.  Then, look behind the curtain.  Victimhood is so yesterday’s child.
