King Of The World

If you are one of the many millions of people in the world right now who are trying to make sense of global events and keep score at home, you are probably confounded by labels like, "socialist," "nationalist," "globalist," and "populist".  Let me try to sort it out for you.

There are two competing versions of the same thing: Globalism.  Each side is firmly entrenched in their version and neither side wants to give an inch.  One could think of them as the Old World Order and the New World Order.  More vividly, one could think of them as Feudalism 1.0 and Feudalism 2.0.

Feudalism 1.0 believes that God created religion and governments to control people.  On this side, you have Pope Francis I, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.  This group thinks that it creates all human institutions and regulates them by Divine Order.  In a sense, this is the Devil We Know.  At this point, they are called the fascists.

Feudalism 2.0 believes that corporations are the source of wealth and profits, and that they are self-ordained to create, market and sell products that keep us all busy.  This group is represented by George Soros, Bill Gates and James Cameron.  They don't believe in God and think that corporations empower governments to do their dirty work so they can keep on milking the populace for the privileged few.  Think of this as the Devil We Don't Know.  At this time, they are called the socialists.

The 1.0s want to regulate corporations so that they don't disturb the flow of money to the religious and government elites.

The 2.0s want to regulate governments so they don't get regulated and can keep the flow of money into the hands of the corporate elite.

In the end, the whole argument boils down to, into whose hands the money flows, and thus who gets to make the rules of the game.  It's all rather quite simple really.

There is a separate New World Order, often called libertarianism.  This third way believes that every single human being is their own religion and government, and get off my back thank you very much.  Needless to say, this view isn't very popular because there are no elites into whose hands the wealth can be concentrated.  So we'll leave them out for now.

The 1.0s are often called conservatives because they want to "conserve" the Old World Order.  The 2.0s are called liberals because they want to "liberate" the corporations from regulatory control.  In neither case do any of them give a rat's ass about individual human beings.

I personally have far less sympathy for the 2.0s.  Ultimately, they want to be free to set up their headquarters on some prime piece of real estate wherever they so choose, and then operate with a single set of rules worldwide.  They hate having to have offices in every single country they operate in, follow separate and often conflicting regulations in different nations, and pay different tax rates and wages wherever they produce and sell their wares.  They would really like corporations to be above the law, or better, to BE the law so they can untangle all the regulatory environments, limit their liabilities and run rough-shod over the rest of us.

Bad idea.  Has been extremely harmful wherever they have succeeded, like the EU.

In contrast, the 1.0s want complete and utter control over everything based on them being Divinely Ordained by a fictional God who speaks only the the select few and hands down lists of "shalt nots" that must be fanatically followed to the letter.  They want to dictate every aspect of life from conception to after-life, with absolute obedience on the part of every single human.  The individual is to be grateful that they were given life and have absolute conviction that he or she will be rewarded in the after-life.

Both of these systems are fine for those who ordain themselves to be the leaders.  Popes, kings, presidents and CEOs live the high life and get all of their rewards in the here and now.  With the 1.0s, you'll get yours after you die.  With the 2.0s, you can have a little taste now if you knuckle under and kiss the right asses.

Both systems hold out the carrot that anyone can become one of the elite, but then they publish these arcane road maps that are nearly impossible to follow, meaning the elite get to pick whomever they please.

In either case, 99.99991% of us are pretty much screwed.

And that's the part they dont' want any of us to figure out.

Instead, they want us all fighting over the scraps from the elite tables.  Both sides try to drop a few bones with some meat still on them so that the rubes (us) will think their system is betterthan the other and follow dutifully to the bitter end.

In the final accounting, though, it's all scraps no matter how you slice it.  They want to have full control over which scraps go to which sheep, and at any cost, don't want us to figure out that there are other ways to do this where everyone gets a slice of pie.  Whether it's priestly mumblings or legalistic horseshit, it's all designed to keep the majority of us in line and rowing the barge.

Oh sure, occasionally one of us oarsmen get promoted to drum-beater with an extra portion of gruel and a sip of wine, but that's just a shiny bauble to keep us hard at it.

When the REAL awakening comes, you will see millions of people walking away from both sides.  That will be the point when most of us have seen the truth that both sides are the same coin, and that perhaps it's time to try another coin.  At that point, there won't be any World Orders, just free and happy individuals.

If you want to see a REAL revolution, wait till you see that one!

Uber Alles

In order to make today's point, we need to clarify a couple of definitions.

Socialism is when a small number of elite control government (oligarchs), which in turn controls the corporations and the means of production.

Fascism is when a small number of elite control the corporations (oligarchs), which in turns controls government and the means of production.

A Republic is a limited government whose sole purpose is to protect the individual from overzealous government and corporate power by protecting a core set of rights for every human being.

A Democracy is little more than formalized anarchy, where rights are really privileges that can be voted away, and even the right to vote depends on the will of the majority.

These are the primary forms of government in use today, and even though the words are used interchangeably to obfuscate their real meanings and hide inconvenient truths about the nature of individual governments, the definitions are basically what you will find with a bit of research.

This leads us to an article about Uber's recent loss in UK courts, requiring it to treat drivers as employees rather than contractors, and thus Uber must pay minimum wage and offer the standard set of benefits.

Many people will cheer this decision, as it seems to protect the drivers and make their lives better, but there's a problem here.  The right to contract is a foundational concept of free societies.  If I sign a contract with another entity agreeing to certain benefits and responsibilities, the government's job in a republican society is to protect my contract, regardless of what anyone else thinks about the terms.  After all, I was free to negotiate those terms and to accept or refuse to contract based on my perception of the costs and benefits to me.

In a free republic, government's sole purpose is to adjudicate disputes between contracting parties when one side believes the other has not lived up to the terms and conditions set forth in the contract.  Otherwise, government has no interest in the contract and cannot intervene or change the conditions agreed to by the parties.

In fascist and socialist states, the government retains the right to amend or cancel contracts that do not protect the government's interests.  The main difference between the two is whether the corporate interests or the State benefit from this arrangement.  In other words, the State is an assumed third party in every contract.  Obviously, this is an assault, no matter how subtle, on the rights and liberties of the individual.

A hallmark of fascist states is the ability to corporate interests to use government power to tilt the playing field in favor of their interests.  Regulations and enforcement are heavily biased to protect the oligarchs from competition.  A socialist state is basically the same, except the State itself is the beneficiary of the control.

Putting it "country simple," if your country has a lot of state-owned corporations, you live in a socialist state.  If your country has a lot of public-private partnerships, you live in a fascist state.

The Uber article sums up the situation thusly:
  • Uber claims drivers are self-employed - but courts do not agree with them
  • Drivers brought legal action against private hire firm in row over their pay
  • They claimed they should get the minimum wage, holiday pay and breaks
  • Uber said they were self-employed and should manage their own finances
  • But Central London Employment Tribunal ruled in favour of Uber drivers

You can cheer the drivers' victory if you choose, but what this makes quite clear is that the UK is likely a socialist/fascist state.

First of all, the courts should have adjudicated the terms of the contract.  The drivers read and agreed to perform certain services in exchange for certain compensation.  One assumes these terms were clearly spelled out in the contracts and that the drivers knowingly entered into contract knowing these terms.  If they were not happy with the terms, they were free to renegotiate the terms, or to set up competing businesses that offered more equitable terms.  If the drivers did not have the financial means to set up a competing business by themselves, they could have banded together to pool resources, and thus become owners of the new entity.

Alas, this was not to be.  Instead of pursuing the capitalist route, the drivers banded together to sue Uber, and the courts upheld their complaint and forcefully broke the private contract in a way that favored existing, State-licensed corporations.  Assuming those existing corporations are private entities and not State-owned, then we are looking at pure fascism.

Uber, whose business model followed the right of individuals to freely contract, was forced to accept regulations that act as a barrier to competition from upstart companies.  The oligarchs of the establishment had set up a system that placed additional cost barriers on new competitors to prevent a loss of market share to better operations and ideas.  Since the oligarchs likely control both the corporations and the financial resources, they effectively tilt the playing field in their favor.  By controlling government regulations, they add a layer of backup protection by making government restrictions a firewall of burden to new competitors.

This adds one more definition to our list: the so-called Third Way, which completes the evil Trinity of State-Corporate-Finance control over markets and competition.  This marriage made in Hell effectively eliminates private initiatives and entrepreneurship, in favor of a protectionist racket surrounding the core of elite oligarchs.

The Third Way is precisely what we see in place in countries such as the US and UK, and which scandals like the Clinton Email are revealing in rather dramatic fashion.  Also known as Mercantilism, the bond of finance, production and regulation creates the perfect barrier to outsiders, the right of the individual to contract, and the ability of new competitors to enter the market.  Control of finance prevents upstarts from getting funding.  If they pass that barrier, then onerous regulations and biased courts favor the establishment over the new guy.  No matter which way you turn, if you aren't part of the club, you ain't gonna play.

I am a big fan of Uber, AirBnB and other similar new-tech companies that use the internet to circumvent the Big Boys and State Regulatory barriers to produce truly capitalistic enterprises.

Sure you hear a lot of criticism and fear-mongoring about these types of operations and how they run circles around the Old Guard and their rules.  What you are really hearing, though, are the established interests complaining that they are losing money because they didn't think of it first.  However, this is an essential part of true capitalism: new ideas and entrepreneurs bring fresh and more efficient operations to market, and the Old Guard (oligarchs) must evolve or die.

When you hear folks pushing internet controls, what you are really hearing are the oligarchs screaming that their territory is being eaten away by faster, leaner operations that they can't control.

In the end, the Uber court case here is an example of the oligarchs using government power to protect their profits.  Pure and simple.  It is a naked example of Socio-Fascism in action.  Uber made it past the financial and regulatory barriers, so the last line of defense was simply to negate private contracts in favor of the ruling paradigm.

Viewed in this way, suddenly all the headlines make sense and can be boiled down into some aspect of this model.  The Clinton-Trump election represents two sides of the Unholy Triad (government and industry) vying for control of the Federal Reserves (finance).  The Uber case, and others like it, represent the battle of entrepreneurs to break into the Inner Circle's protected playground.  The court decisions are the last line of defense for the oligarchs, since there are no higher authorities to whom one can appeal.

And while the Big Picture allows us to see the machinations of the oligarchs at work, it doesn't give us any surcease of anxiety.  Fundamentally, the entire system is rigged from top to bottom, no matter which route your local government has gone.  It is incredibly hard to find any extant example of true capitalism at work in the world, except in the virtual realm of the internet, and what we see there is a slow but panicked attempt by the Unholy Triad to take over control of that outlet, as well.

This is the battleground on which GlobalRev is being played out.  From this point of view, we can see the various sides lobbing grenades and skirmishing over front lines.  The Old Guard have pulled out all the stops to maintain their hammerlock on markets, and ultimately your labor and wealth, that they have had since at least the Middle Ages.  East (BRICSA) battles West (EU/UK/US).  Old Economy battles New Economy.  Establishment battles Entrepreneur.

Bottom line?

Only the individual asserting his/her right to contract and taking responsibility for his/her choices and decisions will ultimately destroy the Old World Order.

Walking Between The Rain

Note: Before launch today, a special note of thanks to HenryMakow.com, Rense.com and DavidIcke.com for picking up yesterday's column, and welcome to new readers!

I always like it when one of the columns sparks some discussion, and yesterday's seems to have hit a chord.  One of our good and faithful readers summed up a number of email rather succinctly...
Bernie, you have to clarify your rant. You tell people what to do, yet , you left the Country.
Fair question that deserves an answer.

A good example of why I left the country is the headline: 45 MILLION VIEWERS WATCH TEBOW GAME.  I won't provide a link, because it doesn't deserve any more attention than that, but you can find it on Drudge.

I have no idea who Tebow is, but I kind of gather that her's God's quarterback, from the various headlines I've seen over the past couple of months.  That fully one fifth of the country tuned in to a football game is reason enough to leave, though.  People there have completely FUBAR priorities.

The other reason I left was to save my children.  You see, when the bastards don't like you, and they can't make you go away with threats, then they attack your children, because they are cowards.  They can't deal with well-informed adults.  In other words, they meet every classic definition of bullies.  My children were kidnapped no less than five times in two years and held for ransom, to force me to knuckle under.

That's what happens when you are being effective.

I will consider coming home, but there are conditions.  First, Ron Paul must be elected.  Second, he must survive more than six months as president.  Third, he must do what he is promising, and of all the politicians I've known, he probably would.  And fourth, TnA must be disbanded and most of them thrown in jail.  There's a fifth condition, but I'm not holding my breath.  All the banksters that have bankrupted the world need to be tried and dealt with appropriately.  I'll come home to help with that one.

See, while Americans have been getting their privates yanked and tweaked, I still have my dignity after I board a plane here.  It's even better in China.  You can walk out on the tarmac and jump on a plane and hardly notice any security.  That's the difference between a foreign policy of terror and blood versus one of mutual economic benefit.

Not that I've ever claimed to be an American.  Even when I was 18 and backpacking around the world, I called myself a Texian and always will.  Not like the George W. Bush kind, where daddy drags his inbred Yankee butt to Texas to carpetbag.  I'm talking seventh generation pure.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.

I don't see a lot to come home for.  Folks are suffering from mass denial, and when they do notice they're broke and homeless, they turn to the evil bastards that put them there and beg for relief.  That kind of mentality just doesn't have much appeal for me.  I'm more of the independent, leave-me-alone type.

I moved to Indonesia four years ago with one suitcase and $600.  I had never been here before and didn't speak the language.  Done pretty well for myself since then.  My friend helped me with visas and such the first two years and I borrowed $300 from my brother for medical bills when I went blind, but that's about as much help as I've gotten.

It also shows how badly I didn't want to go home again.  I spent 20 years fighting and kicking and screaming to prevent what's happened there.  When the chips were down, not one person would come near me.  They were so afraid that the bastards would turn on them that they preferred to turn their backs.  I spent $250,000 and two and a half years fighting the bastards, and just barely eeked out a victory.

When I was done, I had nothing left.  Every last bit was gone, save for a couple of boxes of documents and some clothes.  No job, no savings, no house, nothing.

I could see that Obama was going to steal the White House, even in December of 2007.  That meant that the whole country was completely whacked and there was no saving it.  I wasn't sticking around to watch.  Too many folks thinking, "My country, right or wrong."

Not that much of it matters, since this year will see the end of many things, and the beginning of many more.  The world we know now will not even resemble this moment come January of next year.  All the folks who are cheerleaders from the wrong side are going to find life intolerable soon enough.

Back in the day, there were a bunch of us 'paper warriors.'  We each specialized in some aspect of the law.  I chose Travel and Transportation.  I was pretty good at it.  I lost count somewhere around getting 150 tickets dismissed for just about everything you can imagine.  For four years, I didn't have registration, inspection or any other the other rigmarole they shove down our throats.

People would shake their heads and ask me how I did it?  I would show them my library of hundreds of books and journals and papers, and tell them it only took a few hundred hours of study.

There's a price for everything, including freedom.

Trust me, if you got out of America long enough for the conditioning and the fluoride to wear off, you'd be amazed at what the rest of the world sees.  If you're old enough, you may remember how we saw the Soviet Union.  It's a lot like that.  And yes, America has political prisoners and political exiles.  I was one and I am one, and I'm not alone.

So what can you do about it?  Well, I mentioned conquering your fear, the hours of study, the time in jail and the misery of their attacks.  That about sums it up.  But unless you can wake up several hundred of your closest friends, work together on this, and watch them turn on you the minute you start having success, I don't give it much hope.

Remember that out here in the real world, all folks see is the feral gummint.  They don't see the individuals.  Think about how you see other countries through the media.  The animosity and anger that a lot of folks out here harbor towards the feral gummint does not discriminate between it and you.  Going back to the good ol' Soviet Union, you may recall that we didn't see the individual Russians or Kassars or Mongols or Kazaks.  We just saw the evil Poliburo and the Great Satan Premier.

America looks much the same from out here.

All it would have taken 20 years ago would have been to elect good sheriffs in about 40% of the counties west of the Mississippi River.  Every one of them has the power to evict the feds and arrest any that won't go.  There's more power in your local sheriff's pen than in all of Congress, and that's been proven all the way up to the Supreme Court a dozen times.

But the thing is, it's too late for all that.  All of it is the Old Paradigm, and that's coming to a swift and pwerful end.  In the New Paradigm, none of it matters...presidents, congresses, sheriffs, nations, economies.  Everything you have ever known is changing, whether you like it or not.

The best thing you can do is hunker down and watch the real world.  Now is the time to taste the air, smell the dirt, watch the birds, and stare at the sky.  The signs are everywhere.  If you know how to filter the media, the signs are there.  If you know how to read the clouds, the signs are there.  If you are aware, you've nothing to fear.

Unfortunately, most people don't do any of that.  And when they get caught with their pants down, there's going to be hell to pay.  The best thing smart folks can do now is plan to stay out of the way.

There's an old Jewish mystical trick that a friend taught me years ago.  It's called 'walking between the rain drops.'  Now is the time for good folks to learn that trick.  Once you learn it, you realize how simple it is.  The problem is getting to that point.  It works best when you close your eyes, but then you can't see where you're going until you learn the trick.  Catch-22.

It's a very exciting time to be alive, but not for most of the reasons you can think of.  When the change happens, you'll realize that there was little you could do to prepare.  Things are changing at such a fundamental level that guns and MREs aren't going to help.  Believe me, the bad guys will be just as befuddled.  Sit real quiet for a few minutes.  Turn off the TeeVee and put the kids in bed.  Just listen.  Somewhere in the Universe, a switch has been flipped and something completely new is coming our way really fast.

All you have to do is walk between the drops.
