King Of The World

If you are one of the many millions of people in the world right now who are trying to make sense of global events and keep score at home, you are probably confounded by labels like, "socialist," "nationalist," "globalist," and "populist".  Let me try to sort it out for you.

There are two competing versions of the same thing: Globalism.  Each side is firmly entrenched in their version and neither side wants to give an inch.  One could think of them as the Old World Order and the New World Order.  More vividly, one could think of them as Feudalism 1.0 and Feudalism 2.0.

Feudalism 1.0 believes that God created religion and governments to control people.  On this side, you have Pope Francis I, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.  This group thinks that it creates all human institutions and regulates them by Divine Order.  In a sense, this is the Devil We Know.  At this point, they are called the fascists.

Feudalism 2.0 believes that corporations are the source of wealth and profits, and that they are self-ordained to create, market and sell products that keep us all busy.  This group is represented by George Soros, Bill Gates and James Cameron.  They don't believe in God and think that corporations empower governments to do their dirty work so they can keep on milking the populace for the privileged few.  Think of this as the Devil We Don't Know.  At this time, they are called the socialists.

The 1.0s want to regulate corporations so that they don't disturb the flow of money to the religious and government elites.

The 2.0s want to regulate governments so they don't get regulated and can keep the flow of money into the hands of the corporate elite.

In the end, the whole argument boils down to, into whose hands the money flows, and thus who gets to make the rules of the game.  It's all rather quite simple really.

There is a separate New World Order, often called libertarianism.  This third way believes that every single human being is their own religion and government, and get off my back thank you very much.  Needless to say, this view isn't very popular because there are no elites into whose hands the wealth can be concentrated.  So we'll leave them out for now.

The 1.0s are often called conservatives because they want to "conserve" the Old World Order.  The 2.0s are called liberals because they want to "liberate" the corporations from regulatory control.  In neither case do any of them give a rat's ass about individual human beings.

I personally have far less sympathy for the 2.0s.  Ultimately, they want to be free to set up their headquarters on some prime piece of real estate wherever they so choose, and then operate with a single set of rules worldwide.  They hate having to have offices in every single country they operate in, follow separate and often conflicting regulations in different nations, and pay different tax rates and wages wherever they produce and sell their wares.  They would really like corporations to be above the law, or better, to BE the law so they can untangle all the regulatory environments, limit their liabilities and run rough-shod over the rest of us.

Bad idea.  Has been extremely harmful wherever they have succeeded, like the EU.

In contrast, the 1.0s want complete and utter control over everything based on them being Divinely Ordained by a fictional God who speaks only the the select few and hands down lists of "shalt nots" that must be fanatically followed to the letter.  They want to dictate every aspect of life from conception to after-life, with absolute obedience on the part of every single human.  The individual is to be grateful that they were given life and have absolute conviction that he or she will be rewarded in the after-life.

Both of these systems are fine for those who ordain themselves to be the leaders.  Popes, kings, presidents and CEOs live the high life and get all of their rewards in the here and now.  With the 1.0s, you'll get yours after you die.  With the 2.0s, you can have a little taste now if you knuckle under and kiss the right asses.

Both systems hold out the carrot that anyone can become one of the elite, but then they publish these arcane road maps that are nearly impossible to follow, meaning the elite get to pick whomever they please.

In either case, 99.99991% of us are pretty much screwed.

And that's the part they dont' want any of us to figure out.

Instead, they want us all fighting over the scraps from the elite tables.  Both sides try to drop a few bones with some meat still on them so that the rubes (us) will think their system is betterthan the other and follow dutifully to the bitter end.

In the final accounting, though, it's all scraps no matter how you slice it.  They want to have full control over which scraps go to which sheep, and at any cost, don't want us to figure out that there are other ways to do this where everyone gets a slice of pie.  Whether it's priestly mumblings or legalistic horseshit, it's all designed to keep the majority of us in line and rowing the barge.

Oh sure, occasionally one of us oarsmen get promoted to drum-beater with an extra portion of gruel and a sip of wine, but that's just a shiny bauble to keep us hard at it.

When the REAL awakening comes, you will see millions of people walking away from both sides.  That will be the point when most of us have seen the truth that both sides are the same coin, and that perhaps it's time to try another coin.  At that point, there won't be any World Orders, just free and happy individuals.

If you want to see a REAL revolution, wait till you see that one!

Rainin' All Over Da World

Ever get the feeling you live in a Magritte painting?

Been raining banksters lately.  Just goes to show you that when they say it's a dog-throw-dog-from-the-window world out there, they ain't kidding!

If you don't follow him regularly, it would be worth your while to pop over to Joseph Farrell's site and check out the brilliant job he has done of constructing a scenario involving global geopolitical realignments, tying bear bond scandals, gold repatriation and events like the Ukraine together.

Without a doubt, we are seeing the end of the world as most of us have known it.  In fact, you'd have to be well over 100 or so and able to recall Woodrow Wilson's administration to remember it any other way.

As for the banksters, it appears they are eating their young.  The thirty-something guys who are falling out of closed windows and popping nail guns into the backs of their skulls obviously pose some sort of threat to the new world order.

Now, when I say "new world order" without caps, I am intending to refer to an apparent shift that is not in the Western global hegemony playbook, commonly called the New World Order.  There is a shift going on that wasn't part of the Orwellian vision (which as we should know was based on the real thing).  The wheels set in motion by the Bavarian Illuminati back in the late 1800s is collapsing quickly, and there is a scramble to reshore the walls.

Imagine a giant game of Risk.  You build up your armies on the two or three countries you control, and when you figure you've got it together, you launch on a campaign to take over the world.  Things go great unless you are trying to hold Asia/Kamchatka.  The borders are long and open from a dozen different directions.  Not even Kublai Khan could hold it.

The Western empire, like so many in history, has dashed its ship on the rocks of Afghanistan and China.  Like an octopus when it touches heat, its tentacles shrivel and it retreats into its tiny cove, squirting a cloud of banksters as it goes.

The Western empire is collapsing under the weight of its own ambitions.  Having spent centuries building up armies, manipulating education and populations, testing with Hitlers and Mussolinis, and perfecting new/ancient technologies, it figured the time was ripe to venture forth.  With World War 2 having devastated most of the world (save the Americas), they Central Cabal saw an opportunity to set their plan in motion.

And it worked...for about a 100 years.

But like all empires, this one came up against the one intractable thing that brings down every attempt to dominate the world - human nature.

There are two things, outside of Maslow's Heirarchy, that guarantee failure of any group to ever gain complete control of the world.  One is greed, and the other is liberty.

No matter how true your believers are, there will always be those who have designs on the reins of power, or who look with envy on the wealth of the inner circle.  In either case, they will begin to draw others to their schemes and quietly undermine the Iron Fist out of simple greed.  This is the destruction from within.

Meanwhile, any dominated people will strive to gain freedom.  It is the core desire of any human.  Some will feel it enough to begin acting on it.  We generally call them patriots if they win, and terrorists if they don't.  In any event, they know that they have no hope of open assault on the Beast, so they chip away at it piece by piece.  It's like those video games where you come up again the big beastie at the end, and you have to keep attacking and running, attacking and running, slowly wearing down its hit points.

From these two forces eventually the octopus feels the heat and like lightning, shrinks back within its walls of safety.  Just as we see going on with the US-led Western empire.  Ukraine, Syria and raining banksters are just several of a great number of symptoms readily apparent to those who look for them.  The empire is crumbling.

The real problem, and what will become the biggest problem for those who just want to be left alone to live out their lives in peace, is this: so many people have been focused on stopping and dismantling the empire.  From my experience, the fight has been going on at least 50 years now.  Originally, it was what most folks called the "lunatic fringe", then it was the "conspiracy theorists", now it's a great number of "normal" folks.

There are plenty of folks out there now telling you to wake up and see what's happening.  But it's already happened.  Now we need to figure out what to do in the aftermath before some other New World Order or Illuminati step in to fill the vacuum.

See?  That's the problem.  This hydra we keep fighting doesn't die easily.  It backs off, licks its wounds and then comes on again in a slightly different form.  Meantime, folks think they get it whupped and head on back to the house to plow the fields and raise their kids.  The more you hack up this beast, though, the more little beasties come at you later.

The way we finally and completely kill this nasty critter that has plagued humanity for millennia is education.  We need to stop handing over education of our children to someone else.  Whoever controls education will be the one through whom the little beasties rise up again.

By education, I don't mean hugging trees and putting condoms on bananas.  I mean, "Here son, read Plato's Republic by the end of the week and be prepared to argue for or against, and why."  I mean controlling the content and quality of media.  I mean injecting real art and beauty into every part of our lives.  I mean working to bring every human up to the highest levels, rather than drag them all down into the most squalid (the current model).

Ultimately, it means taking full and complete responsibility for our own education.  Too many of us see a diploma as the end of something.  It is, in fact, only the beginning.  What that diploma means is that you should have learned the ability to think critically and to apply the greatest of human knowledge to any problem.  Now it is your responsibility to continue that process alone, reading, writing, gathering with friends on a Friday night to loosen the tongue and argue - by argue I don't mean fight, I mean state a position and defend it with reason.

Start a discussion group this week with some close friends.  Set the goal of reading something (preferably not junk fiction) and discussing it.  Invite the kids to sit around and listen, even join in if they have something valuable to add.  Turn off the TeeVee and take control of your mind.  Fill it instead with culture and art and criticism and reason.

The art of the dinner party is nearly dead, but I clearly remember sitting around with the old folks, and later at my own table, over a couple of bottles of good Cabernet and arguing the finer points of Kant, Chaucer, Joyce, Aristotle, etc.  The problem is we have allowed the nabobs and idiots to laugh us into submission, which is why the inmates now run the asylum.  We need to take it back and the war begins with dinner conversation and regular visits to the museum and theater.  It begins by taking your kids to Shakespeare rather than Disney.  It begins with the will to never stop education until you can't physically hold a book any more, but even then you can get someone to read to you, if you know anyone who can read big words anymore.

As a population of humans on this small planet, we are coming to a massive cross-road in history.  The ruling class is on its knees and their replacements have not yet felt strong enough to go head-to-head.  This is our chance, as free humans, to take back what was lost centuries ago - so long ago that none of us remember being free.  But we have books by folks who were free and who knew how to be free.

Now is the time to read those books.  Then start having close friends over for dinner.  Afterwards, pour out the libations and let the conversation begin!  This is the seed of freedom!

It used to be that you had to go to a friend's house with a good library in order to have ready references, but now we have the tool you are using this very moment.  The world's libraries are at your fingertips!  Use it!  Use your mind!  Take control of your destiny and end the centuries-long domination by a self-appointed elite.

And while you're at it...get a good umbrella.  I hear there's a storm a-comin' and those raindrops look awful big.

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Global Domination

Ever play King of the Hill?

Indonesians never play that game.  If they did, I suppose they would call it Raja Gunung or Raja Bukit.  I'm kind of partial to Raja Gunung myself.  Has more of a ring to it.

At any rate, I bring this up because that is the game taking place on an international scale right now.  You see, once upon a time, a bunch of greedy inbred idiots got together and figured they'd take over the world.  Seemed easy enough.  Most of the world was pretty ignorant, thanks to religion.  And the sagacious dullards, who called themselves by various ridiculous names like Illuminati, had a good network in days when networks were not part of everyday life.

They nearly succeeded in creating their little New World Odor.  They spent centuries manipulating this and obfuscating that and it got them within spittin' distance of the prize.

But a funny thing happened on the way to global domination.  It's called human nature.  It's like this...when any group of ambitious humans get together to pull of a major coup, everything goes fine until the prize is in sight.  At that point, the key players start sniping at each other trying to be the last man standing.

So, if you're wondering what the status of the New World Odor is, just play a good game of Raja Gunung.

We;ve all watched enough gansta movies and caper movies to know that when the Big Prize is within reach, the players all start knocking each other off so that one of them can walk off with all the marbles.  First it was the Greeks, then the Romans, then the Portuguese, then the Spanish, then the Dutch, then the English, then Germans, then Russians, then Germans again, then Americans.  Now the Chinese want in on the game, and they are siding with the Russians...at least as long as it takes for the marbles to roll to their side of the table.

They form cabals and consortia, conspiracies and juntas, coups and cartels.  They've tried affiliations, blocs, camarillas, circles, cliques, clubs, coadunations, coalitions, confederacies, consolidationscoteries, factions, federations, guildsmafias, mergers, partnerships, pools, rings, syndicatestrusts, and unions.  The fact of the matter is that the closer they get to global domination, the more folks pile on to steal the whole ball of wax.

Frankly, it's all a bit silly.

These dippy-doodles want to run the world, but they can't even control themselves.  History is replete with examples of these bucketheads knifing, garroting, poisoning, pillaging, raping, murdering, torturing, and tattling on each other in order to get one group out of the way so the next can take all the cookies.

Our main concern shouldn't be whether these buffoons can take over the world, but what they are willing to accept as collateral damage in their struggle to corner the market on power.  They've been at this game for centuries and there's no sign of letting up.  But, things are changing.

We the peons now have it in our power to see the patterns of the ruling bozos.  They haven't changed their habits since God was a toddler.  Thanks to the internet, we can all be privy to their fingerprints on history.  The big difference is that with this knowledge, we can do something about it.

Like any playground bully, we will eventually get angry enough that we will take their scrawny butts behind the gym and wollop the crap out of them.  That, too, is a pattern in history.  This time, though, let's put together a plan to keep them down once and for all.  We need to change our own habits and mind-sets, as well.

See, all through history, these numbnuts keep stealing all the candy.  Eventually, we peons get riled up and stomp their weenies into the dirt.  Then we all go back to sleep until the problem arises again.

How about this time we put in some stop-gaps?  Why don't we make sure we stay vigilant and prevent their kind from running the asylum again?  Let's string some trip-wires, install some booby-traps and mark the inbred bastards for generations to come.  Maybe we could stick 'em all on a little plot of desert and build a wall around 'em.  Hey...aren't they already doing that to themselves?  All we have to do is take away their toys and that should keep them corralled for a while.

By definition, the cabalistos are insane.  For centuries, they have tried the same thing again and again, getting the same results again and again...and yet they still try.

We, too, are insane.  We allow these fools to destroy our cultures, societies and civilizations again and again for their pitiful little games, and we don't seem to learn our lesson.  At the very least, we are too tolerant of their shenanigans.  It's high time we practiced some tough love.

We are at this moment standing on a massive cusp in history.  Never before has the technology and desire existed that would allow us to radically change our collective future.  On top of that, the self-appointed global domineers are embroiled in a war among themselves to be Raja Gunung.  We have all the pieces in place to not only radically change our future, but to ensure that the boneheads who keep robbing us of our birthrights are finally put down, to disturb humanity no more.

The key is education.  Think of education as a map to the future.  First, it makes clear that we have been running in circles for millennia with the same dolts behind the wheel.  Second, it shows us which roads have not been fully explored, or better yet, which roads have not yet been discovered.  Third, it warns us to carefully deliberate what direction we wish to take our civilization and what steps should be taken to get there.

Like  the current spate of Hollywood eye-poppers, it's time we reboot our civilization.  We need to stop the morons who have been holding us back and then clean up our nest.  Sure, it may take a century...even two.  But in the great scheme of things, it's a small price to pay.

Out technology has reached a point where the comfort, safety and liberty of every human being on Earth is at stake - not just now but for vast generations to come (if they come at all).  We owe it to our selves, our planet and our progeny to step back and take a breath.  What are we really achieving with the endless iPads and apps and time wasters?  Is our endless entertainment at the cost of civilization worth it?  Are we so lazy, selfish and greedy that we can't spare a little collective effort to discuss what we want from our future?

Very very soon, there will be announcements that will profoundly change our lives forever.  How we react to that new information will determine the direction of humanity for the next several thousand years.  Perhaps we should put down the games and burning fart videos just for a moment to prepare ourselves.  N'est-ce pas?

A sign of maturity is the ability to prioritize, to put aside frivolous things when more important matters are at hand.  If ever there was a time for humanity to prove its collective maturity, this is it.

The New World Oder is a dead issue, and those responsible are killing each other off post-haste.  We proles have been focused for a long time on trying to get a handle on all this mess.  What we need now is a global discussion on what will replace the fools' games.

We have the tools.  Do we have the will?

21.7.11

NWO 2.0, Cont'd

If we put the world in astronomical terms, the US has been a black hole sucking up everything in its environment for the past 100 years.  It became an engine that drove the entire region of space as it grew in size and gravitational force.

But, it has reached a point of saturation.  It has ingested all that it can and has reached a point of decline.  In the process, though, it spawned a second black hole, which is growing and becoming its own engine of change.  We call the new one China.

Certain elements within the West had been calculating a take-over of the world for centuries.  They had plotted and planned, using every opportunity to build their global empire.  We have called that empire the New World Order, and in our hubris, we have assumed that the world would lie down and be subsumed by it.

China and various eastern elements, on the other hand, have has their own designs and desires.  But they played by different rules.  Where the West marched in and planted flags and declared colonies, the East  used stealth and subtlety.

In the late 90s, during the Asian Contagion, few westerners took note of what was going on.  Especially Americans, who are intensely self-interested and xenophobic.  As long as they had their toys and a mysterious thing called the "dollar," they were happy to let the rest of the world rot.

Until that time, Japan had been the regional powerhouse, dictating policy and sitting on Asia like an elephant on smoke break.  Since it had tied its wagon securely to the US hegemonic wagon, its power and fortunes depended heavily on the US.  Not so with China.  With the collapse of the Japanese economy and crash of the NIKKEI, a vacuum was created that gave China the opening it needed.

Asia was a mess, though.  Indonesia was in the midst of internal upheaval with the fall of Soeharto and economic riots.  Most of the Southeast Asian countries were still rural agricultural societies.  China itself was heavily dependent on the West to build its economy.

In the chaos of the moment, Asia was rearranged.  Japan's dominance started to wane, while countries like Korea, India and Malaysia stepped into the gap.

At the same time, England turned over the keys to Hong Kong, which had been their Asian jewel for a couple of centuries.  China, taking possession once again, did not impose austere Maoist philosophy, though.  Instead, they turned it loose as the spark from which to build a fire.

At the same time, Korea's electronics and automobile industry ramped up to take market share away from the ailing Japanese.  Malaysia and Brunei turned themselves into banking havens.  Vietnam entered the plastics business, India took over computing and programming, and Indonesia powered it all with raw materials and energy.

The region was quietly becoming self-sufficient.  China's growth created the consumption engine that was fed by the satellite nations, each according to their strengths.  China was happy to farm out the overflow from its own factories, thus creating a mutually dependent and symbiotic economy.

Few Westerners are cognizant of, much less care about the fact that while Europe was mired in its Dark Ages, there was a major world power on the other side of the planet.  It had conquered the Occident, sent fleets of exploratory ships out that had landed at least as far away as modern California, and was every bit as grand and glorious as the most avaricious bankster dream.

It had grown to the doorstep of Europe before collapsing under its own bureaucratic weight, and in its collapse, had built walls against foreign invasion, just as the US is doing.  This empire had created gunpowder and paper money.  It had thriving science and art and culture.  It was, in every way, the progenitor of the New World Order.

After its collapse, it became fair pickin's for Europeans, who were now ascendent.  Enterprising merchants like Marco Polo had brought back technologies and ideas from the Orient that, in the hands of ambitious families like the Medicis, became the seeds for the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment, while China closed itself off and went into hibernation.

China laid in wait, becoming intensely self-involved and xenophobic.  Meanwhile, the West grew and began colonizing the Earth through the Law of Flags (look it up).  To the newly awakened West, Asia was nothing more than a source of spices, silk, opium, and food for growth.

However, like the ambitious office boy, China watched and waited.  Slowly it gained the trust and confidence of the West, while amassing the keys to the counting room.

For its part, the West was happy to come in and build factories and transfer technology because it was salivating at the prospect of cheap labor and raw materials.  China was only too happy to accept these things, even at the expense of being treated like ignorant natives and coolies to the New Kids on the Block.  But, China had a long history and had already been down the same road, with the same disastrous effects.  This time it had a new plan.

As the West piled money and debt into China, China began to look around for assets that could both enrich it, while unwinding the powerful New World Order.

Lo and behold!  There they were, like valuable jewels lying in the mud at the threshold of the West, trampled and ignored, just waiting to be plucked and polished.  South America and Africa were nothing more than the attic and basement of the New World Order.  They were storerooms that one only entered a couple of times a year to take down or put up the Christmas decorations.

China arrived with piles of cash, offering to buy what the West stole.  And because of the the way the West had treated these jewels, they were only too happy to befriend their new master.  Quietly, China built relationships, made trade agreements and opened new markets.

The West, in its self-serving, egotistical orgy of self-importance, hardly noticed.  After all, they were just chunks of land with poor, dumb natives begging to be servants in the Big House.  When the West finally woke up, they saw to their horror that China was using the very debt bomb the West assumed would keep China subservient, to build its own empire...a New World Order 2.0.

In its panic, the West began trying to wall off the Mongol horde.  It invaded the Near East and North Africa, trying to stem the tide, but it was too little too late.  Like the swollen Mississippi, it was breaking the levee and flooding the farms.

Various groups in the West were awake to what was going on, but they were consumed with whether or not it existed, then who was behind it, and finally what was the strategy.  Meantime, the Chinese had seen the NWO for what it was, and found its Achilles' Heel.  More to the point, they had successfully exploited that knowledge to its greater advantage.

In their continuing pride, the West still sees itself as the engine of the world.  It makes hollow threats that if it sinks, the entire passenger manifest goes with it.  What they don't see is that the ship is sinking because the Chinese have been slowly dismantling it to build another just behind.

If the Western ship sinks, it is of little consequence to China and the East.  They've already built their exit.

The Rising Sun has set.  The Eagle has landed.  And now the Dragon is waking up.

This ain't your Daddy's New World Order...

31.5.11

Novus Ordo Saeclorum

There’s nothing new under the sun.

Ultima Cumaei venit iam carminis ætas
Magnus ab integro sæclorum nascitur ordo
iam redit et Virgo, redeunt Saturnia regna
iam nova progenies cælo demittitur alto

The avenging Sybil comes, an immediate prediction for the era
Great numbers, because of the age of perfection, are born in turn
immediate reward and Virgin, honorable Saturn reign
now the new blood-line of heaven descendant from the Father

Virgil
Though many people are finally waking up to something called the “New World Order,” it is, in fact, a very old idea.  It is not New, it does not encompass the World, and it has little to do with Order.

The words, “Novus Ordo Saeclorum,” or ‘new way of things for all time,’ were first recorded by Publius Vergilius Maro, or simply Virgil, a Roman poet and historian, who lived from 70BC to 19BC.  He wrote the words in reference to the Roman Empire, which controlled most of Europe, the Near East and North Africa at the time.

Notice that the words, novus ordo saeclorum, don’t actually appear that way in the orginal poem.  That is important to understanding what is meant by this term.  More on that in a minute.

The term 'novus ordo saeclorum' has popped up in various places, most notoriously on the back of the US $1 note and Great Seal, as well as the title of Adolph Hitler’s second unpublished book, the sequel to “Mein Kampf” (My Suffering).

US Great Seal - Reverse
The “New World Order,” has been applied to a number of Western empires that have all notably had quasi-religious, esoteric foundations, such as the Holy Roman Empire and the Third Reich.  The quest to dominate the world is as old as ambition itself, and since the time of Virgil, it has had a name throughout Western history.

Every major empire that has come and gone in the West has had, at its root, the desire for a “New World Order.”  Whether it was Rome, Spain, Britannia, Autria-Hungary, the Third Reich, or the Catholic Chruch, they have all sought to enslave all of humanity under a single iron fist…and they have all seen themselves as the new order of all things.

The fact of the matter is it is all the same old clap-trap, and it all collapses under its own weight.  With the possible exception of Rome, which has changed its marketing plan several times over the last 3,000 years, they have all gone into the trash bin of history.

Basically, the New World Order is the same old bunch of crack-pot monarchs who keep trying to resurrect a long-failed blood-line ruling class that the masses have long since disregarded and disposed.

It’s important that we re-translate not only the poem, but the line ‘novus ordo saeclorum,’ because the real meanings have been obscured by accident and purpose to keep us ignorant of what’s really going on.  The lines from the poem, and the commonly translated “New World Order” actually refer to the rise of a blood-line king that will rule the world for all eternity.

The problem with a lot of translations out there is that Latin didn’t have punctuation, so things like dependent clauses, and adjectival and adverbial phrases must be carefully inferred from the endings on the words and the word order in the sentence.  In my translation, I have added appropriate commas to give a clearer rendition into English.

Virgo
The poem contains two important symbols that are frequently translated as “justice” and “rules” (the noun form).  These are shallow interpretations.  The words Virgo and Saturn are very rich symbols with much greater significance.

Remember that poetry, even in English, uses connotation, allusion and subtext to communicate deeper meanings and images.

Let’s first look at Virgo.  Among the many allusions for this word are the Aqua Virgo aquaduct, the astrological sign Virgo, and the symbol of the virgin, which is part of the reason early Christians considered this poem prophetic.  In fact, many read the poem as prophesying the rise of a catholic (universal) Christian empire.

Virgo is the goddess of justice, who was forced to flee Earth because of the lawlessness of Man.  If this sounds a bit like something from the tale of Noah’s flood, you would be on the right track.  She is sometimes shown with scales, because Libra is the sign that follows Virgo.

Aqua Virgo
Originally, Virgo was pictured holding two sheeves of wheat, an asterism that followed the ancient Babylonian constellation of “The Furrow.”  Of course, if you read the Far Side column called Dawn of a New Day, then you know that a bundle of wheat with an ax buried in it is called a ‘fascia,’ from which we get the word, ‘fascism.’  The meaning of the symbol is ‘one strength from many parts,’ which Lo and Behold, is the national motto of the US.  Hmmmm…interesting connection.  The connotations of bundles of wheat, justice and laws, and the female form, which implies life and creation, are what we are after here.

Saturn is even more interesting.  Saturn is a key symbol in so many parts of our culture.  The most familiar, of course, is that it is Lord of the Rings, but it goes much deeper than that.  The ancient Babylonian symbol for Saturn is a six-pointed star, or what we commonly call the Star of David or Solomon's Key.  That it is a hexagram is even more interesting, in that it wasn’t until the past few years that we have been able to see that the poles of Saturn are surrounded by hexagonal rings.

A side note...the Babylonians knew that Saturn had rings, and the Hindus knew the diameter of Saturn to within a few hundred miles.

Saturn's Hexagon
Saturn traditionally is associated with long-term planning, and its 30-year orbit shows up in vast amounts of obscure and occult symbolism.  The common image of the god Saturn is what we know today as Father Time, the old man with a scythe who represents the passing year in New Year’s celebrations.

Saturn was the Roman god of harvest, thus a close association with Virgo, who is holding the harvested wheat sheaves that Saturn has cut.

Saturn was known to the Greeks as Cronus, the god of time, and the origin of the English word ‘chronology’ and its related forms.

In Hebrew tradition, Saturn is called Shabbathai, which is the origin of the word ‘sabbath,’ thus those observing the Sabbath are Saturn worshippers, who go to the temple on Saturn-day..

Ancient Babylonian symbol for Saturn
The Roman festival of Saturnalia began on December 17th, and ended on December 23rd, when the sun died for three days before being resurrected again on December 25th.  This symbolism is based on the fact that the sun moves approximately 1-degree per day across the sky throughout the year, as the Earth wobbles back and forth in its orbit.  The exception is December 23 to 25, when the sun appears to stay in the same location for three days, before beginning to climb again into the northern tropic zone.

Saturn/Cronus is also the father of the gods.  He is the progenitor of Jupiter/Zeus, and is the son of Terra and Caelus (Earth and Sky).  Do you see the word caelo in the poem at the top?  The Latin word for ‘heaven’ is caelis.  Are the pieces starting to fall together?

The Hindus call Saturn Shani, the judge of souls after death, a symbolism certainly known to Virgil.  The combination of Virgo, sometimes called the goddess of justice, with Saturn, whose Hindu function was to judge the dead, and who was credited by the Romans for originating law, make for an interesting play on meanings and symbols.

Cronus kills Uranus, his father
Virgil would have also included the mythology of Saturn, whose reign over Earth was a Golden Age, a time of great wealth, peace and cultural advancement.  This Golden Age appears in almost all mythology on Earth.  According to the Roman story, Jupiter eventually overthrew his father Saturn, and cast down all the Titans, thus ending the Golden Age, and beginning the Age of Man.

The layers and layers of mythology surrounding Saturn are both deep and broad.  I’ve barely touched the Eastern symbols.  But, I think we have enough now to get a handle on Novus Ordo Saeclorum, and tackle the poem’s riddle.

The avenging Sybil comes, an immediate prediction for the era
Great numbers, because of the age of perfection, are born in turn
immediate reward and the Virgin, honorable Saturn rule
now the new blood-line of heaven descendant from the Father

Sybils were soothsayers in Roman times.  They were the fortune-tellers.  In this case, the prediction is that Saturn would be overthrown by one of his children.  Thus, the reference to ‘avenging’ or revenge.

The Age of Perfection, or Golden Age, returns in a rebirth or resurrection.
Because of the rebirth, there is a return to justice, bounty and all the perceived wonders of the Golden Age.  The Virgin Implies innocence, as well as harvest and plenty.  Saturn brings justice and gathers the many together into one, like wheat at harvest.

Saturn is reborn, the blood-line of Heaven and Earth (Caelus and Terra).  The ancient rulers return and a Second Golden Age comes.

If we draw all the strings together, what we see is that the novus ordo saeclorum is an occult reference to a new golden age, that will supposedly be based on a legendary blood-line, which will rule over the whole world.  The fascis and e pluribus unum are all part of this secret symbolism.  Just as the whole design of Washington, D.C. as the New Rome is part of the rebirth of the Second Golden Age.

Everything we see going on around the world right now is because a group of occult ‘fascists,’ who call themselves the 'illuminati,' or enlightened one, are trying to breed a new king from an (supposedly) ancient blood-line, and bring all the pieces (harvest) together to bring Saturn back to life and recreate the Golden Age.

The problem is, who will this Golden Age benefit?  Who is the blood-line?  And why are we normal folk considered so much meat to waste in order to create this legendary Golden Age?  And why is this all such a big, damn secret?

We are at the mercy of a bunch of in-bred, Saturn-worshipping, believers in ancient legends, and they are willing to destroy anyone and anything to get their way in re-creating some musty old myth about a Golden Age.

The Illuminated Ones, who worship Saturn, in the guise of Lucifer the Light-bearer (all-seeing eye), are trying to re-establish a 'Golden Age' (gold being a symbol of Saturn) in which their chosen blood-line will be the supreme rulers of all Mankind for all eternity.

Makes you feel nice and comfy, doesn’t it?  Because we are in the way of their maniacal lust for ultimate power.

By the way, does any of this sound like a plot from a 'Star Wars' sequel?  Saturn, the dark father (Darth Vader) is killed by his son Luke/Jupiter, and ushers in a new Golden Age for the galaxy.

Stay tuned…
