When The Moon Hits Your Eye

I've hit the post-election doldrums.

After the head-slapping antics of the past year in the US, nothing seems to rise to that level of hysteria, nor provides enough comic relief to write about.  Trump has been busy filling his Cabinet, with only the occasional tweet to keep us all entertained.  Hillary Clinton has virtually disappeared, and instead has pushed her surrogate Jill Stein to the front.  Not that the recount isn't entertaining - watching it backfire on both Stein and Clinton is rather chuckle-worthy - but it is anti-climactic.

In other news, there's PizzaGate, which if you haven't been following that story, you are missing some good entertainment.  Here is an example of click-bait that will be fly-paper for anyone who steps in it.

See, the pedophile rings at the highest levels of global power is a very real issue.  It is a story that has been around for several decades now, but the Pizza Parlor angle, regardless of whether it was part of the actual operation before, has now been sanitized and is being used to trap Free Press types who don't have the experience and/or sense to smell a trap.

These kinds of operations, at the levels at which they ope
rate, has the ability to sanitize within minutes.  Think of the speakeasys during Prohibition in the 1920s.  Before the cops could get in the door, the liquor shelves flipped, glasses were swapped with soda and the place was completely neutralized.  This, in effect, is PizzaGate.

A trail of breadcrumbs has been left for the less experienced investigators to follow.  This has two purposes: one, it hides the operation and protects the perpetrators, and two, it will be used to ensnare and eventually discredit the "alt media."  All operations of this kind have multi-layered traps, and as fast as one operation is discovered, it is shut down and backup operations are immediately fired up, complete with all new jargon.

This highlights the problem with "alt media," which I now distinguish from the Free Press.  Most of the "alt media" folks are neophytes who have no training, little experience and a fraction of the common sense they were born with.  Real reports and investigators follow their instincts, which were honed over years of hanging around the old gang and getting their feet wet with experienced hands to guide them.

Now-a-days, every numbnut with a smartphone and a YouTube account think they are Billy Batson.  They are dumb enough to think all leads are good leads, and that the bad guys might actually lay traps to disgrace and discredit them.  In a way, that's good.  It weeds out the talentless wanna-bes and keeps the field relatively uncluttered.

A good reporter knows that where there's smoke, it probably someone trying to distract him from the real trail.  Real stories are like lizards.  Just when you catch them, the tail pops off and they get away.  The cub reporter is left with a wriggling piece of meaningless meat that keeps him distracted while the rest of the animal gets away.  A good reporter knows which leads are hot and chases the perps, but a great reporter gets ahead of the game and is waiting when the perps arrive.

I don't intend to smear "alt media."  It is a necessary function, much like Upton Sinclair.  In fact, the idiots populate all forms of reportage, and especially the Corporate Media.  Most of the bobbing heads one sees on the propaganda press are vacuous hair-spray models who got a degree in jounalism, not to be reporters, but to be famous for being on TeeVee (i.e. celebrities).  The same goes for "alt media."  There are those who just want to draw clicks and earn ad bux, like their Big Brothers, and honestly have no business calling themselves reporters.

Real reporters often have highly trained instincts that keep them on the cutting edge.  They are the ones that most people dismiss as wild-eyed loonies.  They are the ones whose stories seem to have little or no relation to trending stories in the rest of the media, but who are proved - weeks, months, even years later - to have been on the right track all along.  They are the ones going against the herd, and by the time the herd turns to follow, they are off on a completely different tangent, leaving the mop-up to the followers.

A great reporter is a true leader, but not in the sense of a politician.  Politicians usually get one thing right in their entire lives and then stick around to milk the praise as long as it lasts.  Real reporters often spend their entire lives being mocked and ridiculed, primarily because by the time everyone accepts the reporter's stories as factual, they've forgotten who got them there in the first place.  Meanwhile, the reporter is already blazing new trails.

So anyway, back to PizzaGate.  You will notice all the wanna-be reporters jumping on this bandwagon in the "alt media."  The perps have already flipped the tables, though, and anyone who clings to this story will get smeared with the Stupid Brush.

The story is genuine.  PizzaGate was a real front for pedophile rings, but getting exposed in John Podesta's email made them jump into action immediately.  They didn't cover it up, that would look to obvious.  Instead, they turned it into a rabbit warren of false leads and self-references to obfuscate the trail, and like a Venus Fly-Trap, it will snap shut and digest anyone who continues down that line of inquiry.

Folks are free to follow whomever they want, as well as free to become whatever they want.  The efforts of the Corporate Media to shut down "alt media" and "fake news" is nothing more than a desperate attempt to save their precious elitist positions and their pampered asses.  Years ago, they made a deal with the devil to stop reporting the news and start making it.

By the same token, there are a lot of "alt media" types who are self-aggrandizing and spreading utter bullshit under the guise of "reporting" news.

It is up to the viewer whom to believe, and it is certainly NOT the job of the Corporate Media and their lapdog Social(ist) Media to tell anyone what to watch, read or believe.  Everyone has the right to be wrong.

The New Clarity

I believe that one of the most profound and long-lasting effects of this past election in the US is the complete and thorough disgrace of the anachronistic Main Stream Media.  It is plainly obvious now that they are no long the "main stream" and we need to enshrine this event in our daily language.

In fact, this is the exact right moment, while the - let's call a spade a spade here - Corporate Media (CP) is in complete meltdown, We The People have a unique opportunity to take control of the language again.

It is absolutely vital that we take control of the situation before the CP have a chance to regroup.  We must wrest control of the social dialog from their bleeding hands and see to it that their disgrace is forever stamped upon their foreheads.  For too long, they have controlled the public discourse by controlling the terms we use to describe things.  We typically call this Political Correctness.

Political Correctness is a dead horse.  No sense in beating it, it's not going to pull their cart another meter.  We should now label this form of subservience what it is: Slave Talk.  You see, in a truly free society, real diversity means that everyone gets a say and should not be shamed into submission simply because the "majority" don't agree with the message.  By calling it Slave Talk, we clearly label the thing with simple and direct language, so that our thoughts can be clear and direct, as well.  Anyone using that form of language would thereby show their subservience to the control of thought and ideas.

The true champions of this past election are the formerly-labelled Alternative Media.  Anyone with any sense can go on YouTube and look at the hit counts on the CP channels, and the hit counts on the AltMedia channels, and see that people just aren't listening to the former any longer - by huge margins.  Therefore, let's now call this thing the Free Press (FP).  Not only is it simple, clear and direct, but it connotes a long tradition of dissent and unfettered communication that dates back to the pamphleteers of the Enlighrtenment and the American Revolution.  The Free Press won this election for all people, not the favored few.

This brings up the next term we need to attack.  For decades, we have referred to the "elite," the "Powers That Be," and the "Establishment."  These terms are clearly out of date now and need to be changed to reflect the New Reality.  I propose the term "Snakes."  This word has wonderfully apt connotations of "evil," "slimy" and "dangerous."  What's more, those connotations are nearly universal across languages and cultures, thus being appropriate as a global name for the bastards.

Finally, we need to get rid of any term in the public discourse that ends with the suffix -phobic.  This includes xenophobic, Islamophobic, homophobic, et cetera ad nauseum.  The fact of the matter is that these represent opinions, and opinions are like bellybuttons (to be polite), everyone has one.  It is well past time to remove the ability to demonize people for simply expressing their opinions, especially when those opinions go against Slave Talk concepts.  Even when I find someone's opinion reprehensible, I am mindful of their basic human right to hold and express that opinion.

This is not an easy task.  The Snakes have had several generations, using their Corporate Media, to install Slave Talk in the public discourse.  They have, for decades, been successful in controlling how and what We The People can think and say by using Slave Talk to demonize free expression.

We are, at this rare and highly unique moment, empowered to undo more than a century of damage to social and cultural discourse.  There is great power in controlling the names we give things in our daily lives.  Slave Talk places rigid boundaries on the scope of our thinking, and worse, on our ability to express ideas.

The terms I have chosen here are common household words that clear convey concepts.  I do not say anyone but me must use these terms, but I do encourage everyone to select their own terms to replace the now-defunct language of Slave Talk.  The Free Press will, in due course, settle upon terms that will ultimately become part of the common culture, but it is vital that we do so.

Taking the power away from the Snakes and the Corporate Media to control the public discourse is mandated by the outcome of the US election.  Replacing Slave Talk with clear and direct language once again is imperative to the long-term success of the revolution that is occurring before our eyes.

We must also realize that this is not a US phenomenon, it is global in the true sense of the word, in that it is an organic movement arising from the mass of humanity, and not something being shoved down upon us.  This wave will continue, and to be sure that the old regime is completely dismantled, we must change our terms and re-arrange our concepts.

Spectators At The Apocalypse

Did you miss me?  Sorry for the day and a half off.  I do occasionally work at productive, paying jobs, and as a freelancer, I have to do a little selling in between to keep the work flow going.

At any rate, I was having a little conversation with Roy over on our Farcebook page about the stunning media melt-down this past year and a half.

As a career media guy who has worked in local news departments for Fox affiliates, large daily newspapers in the Rockies and the film industry, I know for a fact that everything you see on TeeVee is a complete fraud.  It is why I often rant on about turning off your media streams.

Once upon a time, we were still biased, but we were subtle.  We gave better lighting, more favorable camera angles and a few extra seconds of air time to the "preferred" candidates.  Often, we would lead with the "good guy" or focus a bit more on the "bad guy's" foibles.

Now, however, you can practically see them cashing the Hillary for Prez checks.  The late-night "comedy" shows have practically forgotten there are five candidates.  If you watch them regularly, there is only one and he is completely nuts, according to the near-incessant lambasting Trump gets.  If Hillary gets any attention at all, it is more or less an "oh yeah" mention at the end of a five-minute monologue on the evils of Trump.

The "news" organizations might as well just come out and give us a list of all the things they aren't going to cover.  It's that obvious.  I make a habit of reading news sources from all over the world on a daily basis, including a number of "alt" sites that I consider relatively trustworthy.  Frankly, if I didn't, I would have no idea what was really going on.  The Western media, and especially the US, have just gone off their rockers over this election.  Many of the media pie-holes has already blatantly admitted that they are protecting and promoting Hillary.  Since Americans, for the most part, don't believe anything until someone in authority tells them in simple English, we can safely say that the "conspiracy theories" have been put to rest.

What astounds me the most, though, is the bum's rush to demonize Russia.  Having watched several hours of MOS (man-on-the-street) interviews with "average" Americans, it is no wonder this particular piece of brainwashing is working so well.  In fact, most people have no clue about Russia, why it is being railroaded, or the very real and imminent danger that "poking the bear" brings.  The rhetoric is beyond even the more dire and propagandistic things I remember from the Cold War.

If the anti-Russian rhetoric proves anything, it is that Hillary has absolutely zero problems with starting wars and killing thousands, if not millions of people to hide her corruption.  Can you imagine the depravity of a mind that can conceive of such things, much less act on them on a global scale?  Though I cannot in good conscience bring myself to vote for any of the candidates, it is quite clear that Hillary should not even be considered a serious contender at this point.  Anyone who can proudly say they are voting for her has got to be under the most exigent spells ever witnessed.

In yet another layer of amazement, one has to wonder what these people think they will get in exchange for selling their profession and their souls to the devil.

Is there some well-hidden pot of gold waiting somewhere enticing these balloon-headed hair-spray catchers into destroying any semblance of professionalism?  Of course, at this point Hillary must win, because there is no other exit than to have the gratitude of the queen.  Any other outcome will leave these padded wallets in the cold with no credibility and only the most brain-dead audiences.  They have literally cashed in centuries of media development on this election.

The only real winners that I can see are the alt media.  As the depraved Hillary implodes on stage, it will become increasingly obvious, even to the most fried of couch potatoes, that the alt media were the only ones accurately reporting the news.  On way or the other, we are witnessing the greatest shift in power since the fall of Rome.

I have no love lost for the alt media.  For the most part, they are illiterate slime diggers, but folks like Julian Assange get my greatest respect.  He is literate and he has quite literally put his life on the line to let all the poisons in the mud hatch out.  He is a journalist in the great tradition, and a patriot of rare constitution.

Regardless of how all this shakes out in the near term, we are witnessing one of the most profound moments in history.  The repercussions from Election 2016 will touch nearly every life on the planet, and I do not resort to hyperbole in saying this.  If Hillary wins, the resulting destruction of Western civilization will shake the world for the next 100 years.  If Trump wins, the collapse of the media and whatever follows from his administration will have equally earthshaking consequences.

I admit that I have prepared for, and in many ways hoped for this moment, but now that it is upon us, I can hardly comprehend the way it has come about.  It is one thing to image such historic moments, but another entirely to witness it.  I cannot say that I am sorry, because my disgust with the political and media establishments is acute.  What is regretable, though, is the numbers of people that will suffer because it has gone this far, having built up for well over a century now.  However painful it will get - and it looks as if it will hurt quite a bit - we must all take responsibility for having allowed ourselves to be led so far down the garden path.

The collapse of the media is only the most visible and remarkable of the changes occurring, but certainly not the only one.  We can be sure that at every level of the establishment, the ground is heaving and the sky is falling.  They have painted themselves into a very tight corner from which there is only one escape, and that is to put Hillary in the White House in order to complete the take-over.

The blow-dried nincompoops have bought the promise of great power and wealth if they jump onto the establishment lap like a good dog.  What they apparently fail to realize is that either way, they have already lost everything, it's only a matter of gallows or guns as to how they are dispatched.  At some level, I feel sorry for them, because they bought the same siren song that we all did, they just had better seats and the feeling that they were part of the inner circle.

As for the rest of us, the best thing we can do to save our sanity at this point, is to become dispassionate and remove ourselves as far as we can from the emotional destruction that is heading our way like a light-speed freight train.  Panic is self-defeating and fear prevents clarity.  This has been inevitable since it began.  Nothing lasts forever, even the best laid plans of mice and men.  We can choose to be victims, or take control of the situation and, as the Chinese say, find the opportunity in the chaos.

The rather amazing run of relative stability we've enjoyed since WW2 is at an end, and the scale of the collapse ensures that at least the next three generations will find the world little resembles what they were told to expect.  Ultimately, this is a good thing, but like a good roller coaster, there will be many hair-raising moments getting to the other side.

Turn off the TeeVee, tune in reality and prepare yourself to witness something that will be the stuff of legends long after we are gone.
