The Gay Divorcee

The high-level game of one-upmanship is progressing apace.  You've got the Russians shutting down AEGIS-class destroyers and the Americans blowing up Proton-M rockets with the latest communications satellite on-board.  The Crimean banks just switched to the new Russian financial clearing system and the Americans leaving scorched earth in Ukraine.

You've got China quietly sitting in the background.  These guys are shrewd.  Their rhetoric is clearly aligned with Moscow, but they haven't taken a direct action towards either camp.  They are playing their own game of watching and learning, while toodling around on the Moon with their little buggy learning all the stuff that has been so carefully hidden from the world for 50 years.

The EU is looking rather silly and confused.  On the one hand, they want to stay aligned with the US masters, but on the other, they see the US leadership has completely lost touch with reality.  They are teetering precariously on the fence trying to decide which side has the most king's horses and king's men to put it back together again.

Australia, historically a staunch US ally, is starting to waver.  They see the US playing a dangerous game of destabilization in the Pacific, which is soiling the Ozzie back yard.  They may have cultural and historical ties to the US,  but they also know which side of the toast is buttered when it come to trade and playing well with neighbors.

The US has obviously lost a lot of points in South America.  Brazil, a long-time ally and hot economy, is finding much greener pastures elsewhere.  Columbia and Venezuela, having been invaded by the US decades ago under something called the "War on Drugs," struggling to get out of the US tent and breathe a little fresh air.  Even quiet little Ecuador is tired of being ridden by economic hitment and want to get a little taste of their own resources.

Argentina hasn't had much luck the past few decades getting their economic cow pies together, but they are quite sure that playing in the US sandbox (and by extension the UK box-read Faulklands) is not in their best interests.

Underneath all of these macro currents, the number of secessionist movements globally has jumped dramatically in the past few years - Scotland and Venice being notable examples.  On this point, I am definitely torn.  Having worked many years in the Texas independence movement, I know the impulse and drive that makes a people want to throw off oppressive slavery and make a few decisions for one's self, for a change.

The problem with this is that you run smack into the old "devil you know" situation rather quickly.

Anyone who has ever been divorced knows that weird feeling of suddenly missing what was making you miserable.  You'll fall for anyone almost instantly just to replace that comfort of the familiar as fast as possible.  In a different situation, it's called the Stockholm Syndrome.

Once you have gone through all the court proceedings, and your friends have long since tired of hearing your litany of reasons for wanting out of the marriage, you find yourself in a position of being solely responsible for your well-being and the choices you make.  Even worse...in those moments when you just want someone to lean on, even a barb-wire covered post is better than nothing.

Furthermore, you no longer have anyone to back you up, regardless of the cost to your dignity and self-respect.  It's like the escaped slave running through the bramble, stepping on sharp stones with bare feet, and tripping over unseen obstacles - evenutally he will have the thought that at least he had three squares and knew where all the hazards were back when he was in captivity.

Finally, the main problem with independence is that one tends to cast wildly for new friends to work with, and this is where nefarious types step in to take advantage of one's weakness.  This is the classic divide-and-conquer scenario.  Break a member of the herd off alone and they are quickly very vulnerable to your evil machinations.

Herein lies the rub...people want independence and freedom, which is a good and, some would say, holy desire.  But there are wolves at the gates waiting to rip the flesh from bone as soon as those people are free of their protective shell - whether by stealth (sheep's clothing) or the direct take-down.

The PTB have acted in concern as a single, if not factionalized, entity for centuries.  They are above nations and without loyalty to anything but themselves.  Though they may disagree on the methods and tactics, they are united in their desire to rip us apart.

Smaller and smaller political units means the PTB have an easier and easier time of conquering.  That is why you see such effort to tear apart the Ukraine, or slice Scotland off the top of the island, or divide the various political forces within Iran, or keep the 'Stans ancient rivalries and hatreds stoked.  The larger the group, the harder it is to attack.  Exploiting weakness is a sure-fire way to win.

Humans have an instinct to 'circle the wagons' when under attack.  Obviously, the bigger the circle, the harder it will be to attack, and the opposing force risks a great deal in doing so.  Ideally, you want to get each wagon alone, so that there are no protected sides, no layered defenses and far more vulnerabilities.

The one major weakness of independence movements is that they rarely have long-term plans for when they succeed.  Cast loose, nations are like new divorcees, they will bed down with anyone who shows the least interest in them in order to feel the old comfort again, and that's where the PTB usually win.

Independence movements should first put their efforts and momentum into reforming what they have.  Failing that, they should corral their best and brightest to come up with a long-term strategy for survival once independence is gained.  This includes listing one's assets and deficits, and carefully forging relationships that include parsing the other sides' agendas.

One thing is certain, most independence movements fails right at the point where they succeed.  Since most do not have long-term plans, the general populace reacts with rebound syndrome and will run back to the devil they know rather than face an uncertain future.

Long-term plans must, perforce, include cultural, legal, diplomatic, educational, and economic solutions to the future.  It is easier to change an existing plan, than to plow forward in the dark with no clue.

One thing is sure - those outsiders who will support an independence movement from the start often have hidden agendas.  It is only after a successful divorce that worthy potential suitors will step forward.  It is key to remember that 'divide and conquer' always serves the divisor and never the divided.

The first step to independence is to act like you are already independent and start making clear-headed and long-reaching decisions for yourself, and especially taking full responsibility for the outcome of those decisions - good or bad.

Oftentimes one finds that by thinking and acting independent, one becomes independent.  Revolution by arms is never so efficient and clean as revolution by mind.  Stop thinking like a slave and the rest follows.

A New Superhero - Renaissance Man

Compartmentalization equals death.

Once upon a time, education included the Trivium and Quadrivium.  A student was required to survey the sum total of human experience before being allowed to specialize in a degree.  This is what we call a liberal arts education - liberal being the operative word in that it set one free.

A recent article triggered some deep thinking on the state of the world and the mess that we call education today.

People have gotten so narrowly focused that they not only cannot think outside the box, they can't even define the limits of the box because they can't see that far.  A typical college graduate enters the work force so specialized that he or she is incapable of drawing on multiple points of view in problem-solving.  Inspiration for the really big breakthroughs requires the ability to call on multiple disciplines.  Creativity thrives on the ability to approach any problem from many different angles.

The concept of the "renaissance man" has long since died out.  People who can competently play a muscal instrument, recite poetry, pursue independent investigations into the sciences, be able to speak more than one language fluently, discuss history with some authority, travel extensively, and so on are vanishingly rare anymore.

One key to a well-rounded education is reading.  It seems that most people one encounters these days don't read at all, or if they do, it is only within the field of their career.  Those who still read the news seem to only draw from select sources whose socio-political outlook matches their own.  Few will consciously seek out viewpoints that diverge from their own just to consider the arguments presented.

In observing this state of things, I begin to believe that it is by design.  Having populations that are highly specialized keeps them ignorant of opposing ideas, and thus divided and unable to work together.  This division serves the purpose of preventing large numbers of people from diverse backgrounds from forming alliances that could effectively change political systems.  Without unity, there is no power, and so it serves the Powers That Squat to keep us all ignorant and unable to communicate effectively.

A college graduate that has spent most of his matriculation focused on accounting makes a good wage slave.  They don't question much and are incapable of solving problems in other areas, effectively pidgeon-holing the employee and preventing them from knowing too much about how the rest of the business functions.  If he were too broadly educated, the accountant would be an effective threat to the equally pidgeon-holed executives and their corner offices and juicy paychecks and bonus packages.

Think about black projects in government or corporate worlds.  The most effective way to keep a project a secret is to let as few people in on the Big Picture as possible.  Company A has only enough information to produce their widget, but how that widget fits into the overall scheme is a mystery.

The same is true with populations.  By having an educational system geared towards specialization, people are effectively cut off from seeing the Big Picture, and so never have enough information to challenge the status quo.  This keeps most people nicely compliant, and those who get out of hand never know enough of the Big Picture to ever be a real threat.  If anyone ever causes real damage to the system, it is by sheer dumb luck and even the 'perpetrator' is unaware of what he has done.

The cited article talks about how specialization has stifled creativity, and in that respect, it is absolutely right.  However, it stops short of hitting the problem on the head.  At some level of society, it serves an elites' purpose to stifle free though and keep people pidgeon-holed because it ensures their hegemony.

This brings us to one of the main themes here on the Far Side: the internet is a huge threat to the ruling classes.  That people have free and easy access to so much information endangers the carefully crafted system of specialization.  They must scramble to ensure that we the people never figure out that we don't need their educational system anymore.  If we did, not only would they be unable to maintain their system of putting every college graduate in indentured servitude with student loans, those same graduates would start to become a real threat to the system itself as the Big Picture began to reveal itself.

The stifling of creativity due to specialization is not an unintended consequence, it is the very point of it.  The so-called education system we have is a weapon used to keep us in our assigned stations in life.  Our most effective defense and best weapon is reading and learning everything we can get our hands on.

When we understand how history, art and science work together to form a Big Picture, we will suddenly find why the Trivium and Quadrivium of the ancient world were called a "liberal" education.  Knowledge is freedom - liberation and liberty.  To obtain it requires reading, and not fiction (though it has its place).  It requires reading history, scientific theses, literature, philosophy, religious texts, and law.  It requires us to express ourselves through the arts, and to appreciate how others have done the same.

Only when we can draw on the sum total of human knowledge and experience can we call ourselves free.  It is not an easy task, but it is necessary if we are to survive as a species.  Slavery comes in many subtle forms, and 'education' is one of the most insidious, for it makes us feel intelligent while binding our minds with chains even more effective than physical ones.

If we spent just half the time we devote to TeeVee reading non-fiction from a variety of disciplines, we would see the world change radically and quickly for the better.

Are You A Zero TeeVee-er?

"For Phelps, it's less about saving money than choice. She says she'd rather spend her time productively and not get "sucked into" shows she'll regret later." [emphasis added]

That's right, there's even a name for it now.  We are called the Zero TVers - people who don't watch, don't pay and don't follow traditional TeeVee habits.  What's more, we don't miss it and don't care about it.

Why pay for something I never use?  I don't have time for TeeVee, and when I have time for a little entertainment, I pull out an e-book, listen music or watch one of the 500 classic movies in my collection.  There is nothing in the insipid universe of broadcast/traditional TeeVee that even remotely interests me.  In fact, the last show I remember really following religiously was David Lynch's Twin Peaks, though I confess to the occasional Star Trek TNG or Stargate SG-1.

For the most part, though, I have always found reading to be far more enjoyable, and I can do it even when the power goes out, which is a rather common occurrence here in the Archipelago.

I pay for broadband internet access, yet despite the wealth of passive viewing activities available at my fingertips, I still prefer to browse the Gutenberg library or listen to interviews with thinking people, like those available on Radio Far Side.

It used to be I was a freak of nature.  One couldn't join in the office scuttlebutt without enduring extended conversations about inane TeeVee programs that I never watched, nor had interest to follow.  However, according to the article linked at the top, there are 5 million US households, and many more globally, I'm sure, that are turning away from 'traditional' viewing habits.

And this is scaring the shit out of the 'old media'.  Couldn't happen to a finer bunch of a**holes, as far as I'm concerned.

For two generations (at least in the States), a cabal of corporate interests has had a monopoly on the eyeballs and brains of millions of people.  They could fill our heads with their ideas and create demand for their products by putting us in alpha-wave states and zapping messages directly past our conscious defenses.  Their news outlets were the gold standard of social awareness, and they thoroughly abused us by telling us what to think.

Websites like this one, that aim to invoke thought rather than stifle it, are springing up like clover in the alfalfa.  The various video outlets, like vimeo.com, are delivering quality content produced far outside the constraints of corporate mind-control.  About as close to MSM as many people come is scanning the Drudge headlines before the first auto-refresh.

The monolithic media are scrambling to find a way to lure you back.  As the linked article says, this topic is one of the top priorities at NAB this year.  They are using shocking and lurid content.  They are trying new gee-gaws like 3-D.  They are testing pay-per-view sites in various pricing schemes to see which will attract the most eyeballs.

But with nearly half the global population online, and a significant number of those producing free or very low-cost quality content, who needs the high production-value mind-control rubbish foisted on us by the monolithic media?  Granted, there's a lot of equally useless crap out there, like teenagers lighting farts and such, but we control the clicks and the time and the content we will consume.

And a growing number of folks are opting for intelligent, informative content that by-passes the couch-potato crowd and adds quality to our limited amount of free time.

This is the revolution of which I often speak here.  Since the introduction of the radio set and the on-air soap operas, mystery shows and gangster goop a century ago, we the people have been immobile and willing victims of a technology turned against us.

Finally, at the moment when the monolithic media thought that they'd be springing the final trap with hundreds of channels, 3-D, HiDef, digital pablum, the crowd is turning away.  We have become jaded, overwhelmed and under-served by all this rubbish pawned off as entertainment.  And we're turning it off in growing numbers.

Think about the true depth of the revolution.  In the 80s, when I was getting my degree in media, you needed a massive camera, backpack recorder and a crew of three or more just to capture the video.  Then you had to have a million-dollar suite of machines to edit tape-to-tape, then the distribution was tightly controlled by the very few broadcast outlets that had very limited open slots for which you competed with hundreds of other producers.

Now, I can capture far better video using a tablet that has a couple of dozen other functions, as well, and fits in a satchel.  When I have the raw footage, I can transfer the files to my laptop where I can edit, sweeten, add titles and animation, and any other content I want.  Then I can upload it to any number of free sites or my own server and distribute it to the entire world.  And all with a crew of one for roughly $10,000, hardware and software included.

And I'm not limited to that.  I can write and publish books, news sites, entertainment in any media all from my humble little home office in Jakarta, or even the LFS World Headquarters in Borneo and South Java.  All with a crew of one for an amortized investment of roughly $2,000 per year over five years.

Simply revolutionary.

And this is only the open market.  There are many dark basements on the internet where even more subversive content lurks, though subversive is only a matter of perspective.  Speaking out against government idiocy and corruption is subversive in many jurisdictions.

The raw power now available and in the hands of the masses is astounding by historical measures.  The access to real information and knowledge is beyond comparison.  The ability of the individual to affect real change is magnified beyond all traditional means of control.  And this genie can't be recanted.  It is out in the wild and short of shutting down every possible outlet by pulling the power plug on the globe, it can't be stopped.

And perhaps that's why 'they' push global warming and limited resources so hard.  It is their one trump card left.  The only way they can stop, at least in their minds, this revolution is to literally pull the plug.

This revolution is taking place in the minds of the masses.  It is not a shooting war.  It is not a destructive event.  It is nothing like what has come before.

It is the revolution of ideas.

'They' are trying very hard to make it a shooting war because they can win that one.  When it comes to the war of ideas and attitudes the field of battle is much harder to define, much less engage the enemy.

The article that opened this screed is an admission on the part of the monolithic media that they are losing the war, and that they have no idea how to turn the tide back in their favor.  The front is far too broad and as deep as the imagination can go.  There is no longer a single rabbit hole to fall into, but millions.

To join this revolution requires a single, stunning act of defiance: turn it off.  Become a Zero TeeVee-er!

Breeding Yourself Into A Corner

In both the Banda Aceh and Fukushima tsunamis, a great number of people didn't notice the warning signs.  If they saw the tide sucking out and beach appearing where none had been just moments before, their minds opted for normalcy and told them that this was just a weird low tide or something.  And unlike the movies, tsunamis don't look like giant waves breaking on the horizon.  Instead, the tide comes in, and in, and in, and in.  It surges higher and faster without any sign of letting up.  Most people did not recognize what was happening until they were underwater or their building was completely surrounded with alarming rapidity.

And so it is with global events.  The tide began sucking out around the turn of the 20th century and now it is surging back with unstoppable force.  And just like a tsunami, it starts with what looks like an unusual high tide, but by the time folks sit up and take notice, the water of history is rushing past and rising inexorably.  This is when fear and panic take hold.

A fascinating man by the name of Frank O'Collins, whose interview will appear on these pages in the next couple of days, has posted a remarkable blog on his Ucadia site that deserves close reading and pondering.  He describes what it looks like when the tide starts to roll in with frightening rapidity.  He perfectly captures the feeling of those who have a deep feeling about global events, but can't quite put their finger on what's going on.

Picture a group of people like those in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.  They have, for whatever reason, been implanted with a vision of something they have to do to prepare for some impending event.  They know the sign they are looking for, but they don't know from where or when it will come.

The difference between real life and the movie is that the signs are implanted years ahead of the events.  We look frantically for them for a while, then slowly forget about them until something happens that triggers the memory and causes us to leap into action.  The problem is, we don't know which action is the right action until we stumble upon it.

Frank started to enter the seminary and join the priesthood.  I started to join the Benedictian order and become a monk.  We both apparently figured out rather quickly that wasn't the right direction, at least for us.  Frank eventually found his path, and I found mine.

The point is, there are people all over the planet who have received these visions and it is their job to perform some function that will warn others of the coming tsunami of history about to pound our shores.

The problem is that most folks who hear the warnings continue to mindlessly collect flotsam and jetsam on the newly exposed shorelines.  Some look up at the weirdos jumping up and down and yelling their fool heads off, but hey! everything looks normal, except there are a lot of cool shells here that they didn't see yesterday.

At some point, those in the know have to abandon the beachcombers to their reverie and start running for safety themselves.  After all, they have a group of folks who are listening and who want to know what they should do next.

The signs are here.  There are a bunch of folks jumping up and down trying to get everyone's attention.  Many aren't paying attention because they've been reprogrammed with false information that overrides their own instincts.  Deep inside, they know something is wrong, but their programming says, "Don't worry.  The 'authorities' will take care of everything.  They always do."

Those with false programming have relegated the Roman Church to a status of inconsequence.  They refuse to study history and see that the Roman Church has been at the center of Western history and culture for at least the past 1,000 years.  The fate of the church is the fate of an entire hemisphere of the socio-political globe.  The roots of all problems in the West right now are the result of ancient events, dismissed by most as being irrelevant in the modern world.

The rise of fascism and vulture capitalism, the collapse of monarchies, the rise of the Anglo-American empire and the Nazi Reich...all of these were planned for centuries.  The prophesy of Malachy and the interpretation of the Book of Revelations commonly held by most people were implanted as a means of controlling global events.

For instance, the prophesy of Malachy was written as part of a plan to socialize a certina mind-set in enough people across the planet to make certain events seem prophetic.  The one-line descriptions in the prophesy were a convenient way to buy credibility for Roman pontiffs.  After all, if a pope seemed to fit the 1,000-year-old prophesy, that would reinforce the validity of the prophesy, as well as make the pope look as if he was ordained by God's Plan.  It's circular logic, but billions of people have bought it.

The house built on a sandy foundation may last 50 years, but at some point, it will fall down.  Nothing based on a lie can survive forever.  And so the Roman Church is collapsing, both by design and by reason.  One group is pointing to the prophesy of end times to say, "See?  The end is coming and we were right!"  The other side is saying, "You can't build a house on a false foundation and expect it to stand."  The fact of the matter is that whoever controls definitions controls culture, and whoever controls culture controls the world.

Take a moment to think another way around.  Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands is resigning.  She is the daughter of Prince Bernhard, the founder of the Bilderberg group and a Nazi collaborator in World War 2.

Pope Benedict XVI is resigning.  He was a Hitler Youth and member of the Nazi Party, as well as a powerful figure inside the Vatican for many years, including being the Grand Inquisitor.  Update Feb 25 - Archbishop Keith Cardinal O'Brien to resign before the Conclave)

Surrounding these two events are the euro crisis and the EU itself, which was an idea hatched by high-ranking Nazis in the early 50s in Portugal.

The Knights of Malta, one of the most secretive and powerful groups in the Roman hierarchy, have taken over the Vatican Bank, which is the central economic engine of the Roman empire, which encompasses so much of Western history and current events.

All of these people and events are tied to the Bavarian Illuminati begun in (Ingolstadt, home of Victor Frankenstein) the 1800s.  That group was a branch of the Illuminati, along with many other organizations, which were a creation of the Roman Church in its effort to literally take over the world.  Remember that the Roman Church has given itself a mandate to possess and control the world in the name of Jesus until He returns (if you believe that particular interpretation of things).

The dwindling timeline and the culmination of thousands of different variables at this time is the reason that a number of writers and commentators have noted the precieved panic among the PTB. Based on a lot of dot connecting, we can even predict certain events - by reason rather than supernatural powers.

The new pope will be fairly young and charismatic.  The new William (Alexander) of Orange will take over the Netherlands.  Elizabeth II will abdicate this year, as will Charles, leaving Willie and Kate in charge.  All three of these monarchs together control most of the world's wealth and land, at least in title.  All three will pass to younger, more dynamic hands in the final push to complete their plan of global domination.

It will fail, but it won't be pretty.

It will fail because there is a tsunami coming.  This tsunami is powered by a force far more subtle and inevitable than any of those previously mentioned.  It is a force dismissed by the PTB and ignored by most people.  It is a tidal wave of Destiny.  It is programmed into our DNA and beyond the control of anything we can imagine.  There is an Awakening of something very ancient and currently invisible to most of us.

The PTB have been trying to find and eradicate it with the Human Genome Project and GMOs.  They know it's there but they can't reach it, though they think they have defeated it.

We humans are far more than we think we are.  Not unlike the Incredible Hulk, there is a massive force asleep within us...asleep because powerful magic has controlled us for a long, long time.  But like Sleeping Beauty or Rumplestiltskin or Snow White, true love will stir the Beast within and the evil plans of our supposed masters will be ultimately defeated.

In reality, there are two World Governments.  There is the one forced on us and the one which erupts from us.  The latter will win, but the former will not give up without a fight.  If you had been working for generations to build an empire - breeding your family and slowly positioning your forces - and you found an insurmountable force just as you were activating your final plan, would you just quit and go away?  Of course not.  They know, and we know at some level, that this is the final battle for control of the human race.  It will be a horrific war of attrition - a tsunami of history - which will be irresistible and inevitable.  The clash will grind mountains to dust.

All that can be done to mislead, distract and defeat humanity has been done.  Now the PTB are launching their young breedlings at us to conquer the last bit of the human psyche and pull the last of the wool over our eyes.  Prepare for D-Day.

The tsunami is coming.  See all those loons up the beach jumping up and down and yelling?  They are telling you to run.  Might want to take heed.

Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Cue Tears For Fears...

Since the end of the proverbial "Cold War" in the late 80s and early 90s, most people would seem to agree that there has been one surviving 'superpower'.  Most of those self-same people would also identify that surviving 'superpower' as the United States.

But, as is usually the case, the majority is completely wrong.  Not that it's entirely their fault.  The majority is deeply involved in twitting the contents of its breakfast and the timing of its bowel movements to a breathlessly awaiting world.  The majority doesn't have time for such piddling details like who actually runs the Western hemisphere.

The only remaining 'superpower' is, of course, Israel, and curiously enough, since the end of the "Cold War", Israel has been struggling mightily to get someone else to bomb Iran into glass blobs.  If you don't believe me, then log off Twitter just for a moment and go and look up how long Israel has been trying to get someone else to fall on their sword in Iran.  From what I've found, it was around 1993.

Now you may disagree with me that Israel is a 'superpower', or THE 'superpower', but history and current events would argue against you.

Israel dominates US politics.  In the past week, that little sliver of desert on the eastern Mediterranean has been all over the news huffing and puffing at the UN General Assembly (for lack of a better term).  During one of Iran's presidential speeches, Israel stormed out of the chamber and was incensed that no one followed.  They did a little back-room arm twisting, and during the second speech, the US dutifully followed its puppet-master.

Another example can be found by (I know this is painful, but...) turn on any of the 'christian' broadcasting networks and check out John Hagee, or Benny (the Doo) Hinn, or any of the other useful idiots.  Listen to the amazing hoops these 'people' will jump through to defend and apologize for Israel.  Thanks to a convicted felon named Scofield, they have so badly mangled the Bible - which is amazing considering how mangled that document already is - that they have millions of gullible folks believing that Israel has the right to slaughter anyone it doesn't like because Gawd has ordained it.

It's gotten so absurd, in fact, that the 'Star of David' has virtually supplanted the 'cross' as the corporate logo of this bastardized form of 'christianity'.

Needless to say, these 'people' receive scads and oodles of money from the Israeli lobby to keep the rubes in line and voting with Israel's foreign policy, which is best summarized as, "Death to all who don't toe the line!"

So, why has Israel spent the better part of the last 20 years trying to get our sons and daughters to be cannon fodder in Iran?

As we all know, the tag line in the Israeli advertising that passes for a Free Press is that Iran is trying to produce an atomic bomb.  *GASP*  An atomic bomb, you say?

The laughable part is that we've been told this for literally 20 years!  This implies that either Iran is hopelessly inept when it comes to nuclear research, or they just aren't doing it.  Surely after 20 years, you'd think they'd have come up with some kind of pop gun by now.  Hell, Pakistan and India and even North Korea have gotten that far.

Let's also set aside the emotional hot button that they want an atomic bomb.  Frankly, an atomic bomb in today's world is hardly worth playing with.  When the perceived enemy has particle beams, masers, missile defense shields, autonomous drones, cruise missiles, bunker busters, and hydrogen bombs that make little atom bombs look like kid toys, why bother?  There are many more productive lines of research to blow your defense shekels on.

Obviously, there's another agenda, but what could it possibly be?

Well, let's look back at Israel.  Here we have an arid strip of land with virtually no natural resources.  In order to grow food, it must heavily irrigate the land, which takes copious amounts of fresh water.  There's little to no oil, though just up the coast, recent discoveries include very large oil and gas fields just offshore.  Israel has no natural boundaries or defenses, just literal lines in the sand and the occasional massive concrete walls.

In other words, Israel's neighbors are gifted with fairly decent natural bounty, while Israel itself must import pretty much everything but air.

On top of that, given Israel's 60-odd year history of militaristic expansionism, its neighbors have developed the habit of beefing up defenses.  They've done such a good job at it, that when Israel invaded southern Lebanon twice in the past few years, it had its Zionist butt handed to it right quick like.

And why did they invade Lebanon?  Well, it wouldn't be all that sparkly clean fresh water just over the border from its collective farms, would it?  Nor would it have anything at all to do with all the juicy delicious oil and gas sitting just up the coast, would it?

And why does Israel want to destroy Iran?  Well, it wouldn't be that Iran is the largest source of funds and supplier for Hizbollah, who recently handed Israel its Zionist butt twice, would it?  Oh, and Hizbollah also happens to be a mover and shaker in Palestine, which also happens to be Israel's real name.

When you think about it, Israel is one of the largest dealers in death and destruction, at least in the region, if not the world.  Its hands are dirty with so many false-flag attacks (USS Liberty anyone?), cyber attacks, stealth wars, and so forth that if any country should have sanctions leveled against it, Israel would be it.

Furthermore, that Israel runs the US, and the US runs the EU, it literally controls much of the western hemisphere's power and wealth centers.  Add to that Israel has its hands deep in that peculiar form of American 'christianity', and successfully manipulates great numbers of people through religious channels, as well.

It clearly leads one to conclude that any incumbent politician in any election in any western country should be soundly defeated.  One must further conclude that the replacements should be thoroughly vetted for their stances on the Israeli question.

One can only speculate what wonders of peace and harmony would follow, should Israel's iron grasp on the west suddenly fail.  For one thing, we would all be finally free of such notable ego maniacs as Nutty-yahoo.  In addition, the Mossad's ability to undermine regimes and create wars would be severely hampered.  These effects alone would nearly ensure a fresh, new take on things.  Almost certainly, great gobs of peace and love would be bursting forth all over the place.

Something to ponder on a lazy Sunday afternoon.  Beats football, at any rate.

Paul vs. The Powers That Be

Languages are slippery things.  Especially when you are translating one to another, and even more so when you are being paid to do it by someone with an agenda.

Language is never limited to simple 'word = word' kinds of formulas.  There are layers of connotations and subtexts, cultural contexts, and individual experience that flavor every part of a language.  Some examples?

In German, there is the word gemuetlichheit (the ue can also be written with an umlaut).  If you look the word up in most dictionaries, it will tell you that the English equivalent is 'cozy'.  This is such a pale translation.  Gemuetlichheit is an emotion for which there is no English word.  It is a feeling of well-being that one has when the environment includes good food, drink, friends, music, and a warmth and camaraderie that is only found in such a setting.  In English, it would take a whole group of words to convey the same content as that single word in German.

How about another?  In Indonesian, there is the word selamat.  Most dictionaries will tell you it means 'good', as in "good morning".  However, the word means much more than that.  Selamat can mean good, happy, fortunate, well, congratulations, and about a half-dozen other English words.  There is no direct, word-for-word translation for selamat.

This is true of every one of the 15 languages that I am proficient in.  Each of them have concepts expressed with single words that do not have equivalents in other languages.  Furthermore, every word you can think of has a vast context that includes every encounter you have had with the word, all your experiences that you self-describe with the word, the etymological origin and cultural baggage of the word.  On top of all that, words evolve over time, growing slang usages and additional cultural baggage.  After all, how would an American English native translate the slang meanings of 'hip' or 'cool'?  What Russian or Mandarin word would your choose to separate 'joint' and 'low temperature' from 'cutting edge' and 'very nice'?

With that said, what about texts written in other languages that are translated into yours?  Add to that a span of hundreds and even thousands of years.  How much is lost when a Babylonian clay tablet is translated into modern Spanish or Turkish?  Worse yet, how much is lost if the original text is ancient Greek, which was then translated into Latin, and from there into English?  Worse yet, suppose the Latin were first translated into older forms of English, and then updated several times over the centuries.

To this already big pile of confusion the fact that punctuation is a relatively modern convention.  Ancient Greek and Latin did not use punctuation.  Instead, they had a complex body of affixes, which combined with syntax and context, told the reader when one thought ended and another began, or indicated a direct quote, or talk the reader that this word was the subject and this other word was the object or a thought.

You have to imagine that huge piles of meaning have been lost, right?  And to complicate matters, we can assume that the translators, or the people paying them, had agendas that 'flavored' the translations, skewing the results in one way or another.  It doesn't take long before the compounding effect takes us far afield from the original intent and meaning of the primary text.

With all of this in mind, I come (at long last) to my point.  I want to examine a brief passage of ancient text that is often mistranslated, often on purpose, and has profound implications for contemporary thinkers.

The passage comes from something called 'Paul's Letter to the Romans'.  We'll bypass the whole 'was Paul a real person' argument and stipulate for the sake of moving along.  The text can be found in any copy, any version of the New Testament, which is a highly controlled and misused set of documents that have profoundly influenced the modern world.

How profoundly?  Well, I'm willing to bet most folks use the term 'powers that be', but few take the time to investigate the origin of the term.  In fact, it comes from the King James translation of the New Testament.  Specifically, it comes from the aforementioned Letter to the Romans, with the common delineation of Chapter 13.

Credible scholarship tells us that Paul's letters were written in ancient Greek (the Gospels probably in Aramaic).  That means we can search the internet for the original text in the original language.  So we click over to Dogpile, type in "original greek text of romans 13", and select what looks to be a fairly authoritative source that even gives tenses, voices, moods, and cases to help us understand what we are seeing.

Searching Romans 13:1, we get:

Πᾶσα ψυχὴ ἐξουσίαις ὑπερεχούσαις ὑποτασσέσθω. οὐ γὰρ ἔστιν ἐξουσία εἰ μὴ ὑπὸ θεοῦ, αἱ δὲ οὖσαι ὑπὸ θεοῦ τεταγμέναι εἰσίν:

Now I know what you are thinking: Hey!  This is all Greek to me!  I know, but I want to make sure that you can't come back and say I cheated.  I'm putting all the info right here.

Now, before we go on, let's take a look at how this passage has been translated.  For this, we click over to biblegateway.com (can you say gateway drugs?) and look up Romans 13:1 in the NIV translation:

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Keep in mind that the 'authorities that exist' is the part we all know as 'the powers that be.'  The word ἐξουσία actually means 'to be at liberty' or 'free', as in what you might tell a house guest when you want them to relax and feel at home.  Already, we've completely shot the standard translation out of the water.


In the 4th century, Jerome was commissioned by Constantine to translate the Greek text into the Latin Vulgate.  In every other instance that I've aware of, Jerome properly translates ἐξουσία as liber, or free.  Yet, in this one instance, he changes it to 'authorities', or the more familiar 'powers that be'.  Why?


Because the line actually reads: let everyone be at liberty and only follow those who are of God and righteous.


In other words, we are told NOT to follow blindly, but that only those who rule in righteousness and godliness are worthy of leadership.  The text goes on to tell us that revolt against evil rulers is a virtue.


Obviously, not something kings and emperors want people thinking.


If it is true that this one little line in the Bible has been maliciously manipulated to conform to the agenda of the PTB, then what other lies fester at the core of our culture and society?  What other 'little' changes have been made, not just to this book, but to all others?  How many other falsehoods have been foisted upon us to make us docile slaves, rather than empowered unique creations with moral duties and obligations to fight evil in all its forms?


We human beings have been played for fools for millennia.  It is morally incumbent on us to take back our power and to clean up our mess.  We owe that to our future, both as individuals and as a species.  It's time to flog the money changers in the temple.


The way to begin is to remove the blinders that were installed on our eyes from earliest childhood.  It is time for us to become adults and take responsibility for our lack of understanding, and our lack of action because of it.  Ignorance can be cured, idiocy can not.  We are left with two clear choices: cure our ignorance, or admit we are idiots.  Frankly, I choose the former.


There is a fictional character that has provided inspiration to me since those long-ago days in high school:  Chief Broom in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."  The first step is to see the fog that clouds our minds, the second step is to clear it away and take back our true power.


It is our birthright.

Countdown To Armageddon

The Mayan Calendar

Well, here we are, counting down to whatever it is we are counting down to.

To hear some folks talk, by this time next year, the Earth will be a cinder, all Mankind will be extinct, civilization will vanish, and it will all be because of some carved stone wheels in Mexico.

Rubbish.

It is the nature of all entrenched power elites to make people afraid of some external force, from which they will protect us...at a price.  Fear is a great motivator, and when used as a weapon, can cause great numbers of people to do really stupid things, like trust someone else to watch out for their interests.  It never occurs to us individually that anyone we put in a position to guard our safety is going to watch out for their own safety first.

The great Roman poet and historian Ovid famously said, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodies?"  Who will watch the watchers?  Once you establish an individual or group to protect your interests, then you must place another over them to watch them, and yet more over them to watch the former.  It's an endless cycle of layers of watchers checking on other watchers, and in the end, the only one who is truly motivated to keep me safe is me.

If I have a pile of gold and I hire someone to watch it for me, eventually they will figure out that job security comes from keeping me afraid of losing my gold.  But at some point, I will become paranoid and hire someone else to keep an eye on the first one.  And on it goes ad infinitum.  The watchers will inevitably place their own self-interests above mine.

If we expand this to a global scale, then we have certain minorities who have been placed in positions of trust to watch out for our interests.  To protect their interests, they have instituted various programs to keep us afraid, and thus continue paying them to watch our interests.  When they are caught red-handed lying and dissembling, we blythely pay more to install another layer of minorities to watch the first group, who in turn ally themselves with the first layer in order to enrich themselves at our expense.  We call this process 'government'.

In the age of the 'security' state, we the sheeple herded around by the noses by a small group of people who use our fears as weapons against us.  By its nature, fear is irrational because it rarely rises to the level of our expectations.  Yet the mere anticipation of something bad happening causes us to become pliant and docile at the hands of anyone who will promise to protect us.

The state apparatus has a vested interest in keeping us afraid.  It doesn't matter what the fear is, so long as a sufficient majority of the masses are afraid of it.  It also helps if the fear is something that is much larger and inevitable that we are powerless to change.  We will still throw money and power at anyone who steps up and says they have a plan to protect us.

Global cooling, global warming, Y2K, 2012, Apocalypse...name your irrational fear, and you will find some group standing up to take money to protect us from it.

Pandora's Box

Climate change?  Well, we have this anonymous group of 'scientists,' without names or faces, who are working diligently with their laptops and recording stations to do what we all can do by standing outside.

Apocalypse?  We have this massive bureaucracy called a church that claims to intercede on behalf of all Mankind with an angry and wrathful God to prevent His wiping out Humanity.  This particular gig is very effective, since it's lasted about 500 years or so.  Never mind that wrath and vengence are two of the seven deadly sins, and it makes no logical sense what-so-ever that this God would act on them.

2012?  This one is particularly rich, since no one seems to take the time to read about seven or eight paragraphs in a scholarly paper on Mayan calendars.  It's particularly effective, since people can project just about any fear they have on to it, and it has grown to encompass climate change, apocalypse, space invasions, and pretty much all the other fears and expectations of our collective subconscious.

In simplest terms, the Maya envisioned all of time as a series of interwoven cycles running endlessly into the future.  Each progressing cycle was exponentially longer than the first, with the final cycle lasting a bit over 5,000 years.  This final cycle had 13 iterations before it would itself recycle.  The whole thing was based on various celestial events, particularly the movements of Venus, Moon and Sun.

The cycles also coincided with Maya myths and legends regarding various Ages, not unlike the Yugas in Hindu tradition.  In fact, a brief effort on the part of the curious reader will reveal that the recycling of the Mayan calendar, as well as the Hindu tradition, and even the Bible itself, call for the beginning of a new Golden Age, when Mankind will become enlightened once again, and will throw off the fear and loathing that has kept Him in darkness and ignorance.

According to some scholarship, that new Golden Age begins about this time next year.

So what are we afraid of?  Could it be that all this fear-mongering is actually a reflection of the watchers' internal struggle to keep us all compliant and fearful in the face of a new Awakening?  Are they trying to engineer a new Dark Age in which they are the Masters of All They Survey, while we are the writhing masses cowering at their feet?

If all your wealth and power were the result of everyone around you being deathly afraid of their own shadows, and you knew that they were waking up and taking back their birthright, what would you do?  Considering you will lose everything and most likely all those people will lash out in anger at you for what you've done, my guess is that you would do everything in your power to keep them ignorant, fearful and dependent.

In fact, every tradition, without exception, that forecasts a violent and nasty cataclysm states that this event is the birth pangs of a new Golden Age of Humanity.  We will finally conquer our fears and self-loathing, and usher in an Age when Mankind will appear god-like, when peace and harmony will reign, when we no longer live in ignorance.  All of them, be they Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Mayan, Hindu, Greco-Roman, Cherokee, Hopi...doesn't matter, they all predict that the destruction of the Old Ways will lead to new glories for our species.

The Golden Age

So, when you look at it the right way, what we are seeing is deep, agonizing fear on the part of the watchers who are losing their power and status.  The only weapon they have is to transfer that fear onto the vast majority of humanity to keep us dependent on them.  Every one of the traditions hold that this will happen, that the entrenched powers will utter destroy themselves in their effort to maintain their positions.  In the end, the Enlightenment always wins.

2012 will likely be an eventful year.  There will be some remarkable events in the heavens and on Earth.  But the only people who have something to fear are the one who benefit most from fear.  Because, when fear is conquered, they no longer have power nor status.  They will no longer be able to manipulate the masses, since all their tools and tricks will have been rendered useless.

Every winter brings death, but spring is not far behind.  What was hidden by the snow will be revealed by the thaw.

Meiosis Mulai

Let's see...what's a good metaphor for the global situation at present?  How about cell division?

What we are seeing now is the nucleus spitting itself in two, while the DNA is busy replicating itself to make two identical sets...evil empire East and evil empire West.

The mitochondria (militaries) are busily producing proteins and glucose to fuel the process.  The first hints of a new cell wall are appearing, being built block by block between the two halves.

It's all a matter of degrees.  A push here, a nudge there to move things along.  Then, suddenly it moves really fast and the dividing wall closes up and the two sides grab the last of whatever they can before it seals.  Finally, the one original cell is two identical cells competing for the same resources that only one cell used before.

The world famous Man O' Peace, the Nobel winner, the Great Hope and Sweeping Change has succeeded in throwing gas on the fire.  The process has sped up and the wall is quickly sealing itself.  He has brought death and destruction to great swaths of the Earth with his brand of peace and change.

The Russians are threatening to once again point missiles at the US.  The Chinese are building aircraft carriers and holding naval drills in the Pacific.  The Pakistanis are buring the Man O' Peace in effigy.  The Malaysians have convicted Tony Blair and G. W. Bush of war crimes, and GW cancelled a speaking engagement for a Jewish charity function in Switzerland because charges of crimes against humanity have been filed there also.  Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya are in ruins.  Syria and Iran are on the chopping block.  The US has put marines in norther Australia and fomented rebellion in Egypt.

There's only two ways for this to end...one, a world war the likes of which we have never witnessed in all of history, with millions and perhaps billions dying within a few short years; or two, we all simply refuse to fight.  This, as all wars, is a manufactured event put on by those who laugh at misery, thrive on death and drink the blood of the innocent for dessert.  It is NOT our war, and by our I mean most of humanity.  It's a sick entertainment for a few depraved individuals (I won't honor them with the title of Human).

The war only works if they have bodies to throw at each other.  If we, en masse and worldwide, refuse to participate, then the sickos must attack us directly and show their true colors, or cower from the roving bands of Humans looking to lynch anything with the self-adorned moniker of 'elite'.

Part of what's going on is a complete re-make of the fall of the Soviet Union.  You may recall that the Soviet army had been bogged down in Afghanistan for ten years and had gotten deep in debt because of it.  Reagan cranked up the Cold War and threw gas on the fire of the arms race, which caused the utter collapse of that country.

Now, the US is mired in Afghanistan, as it has been for ten years.  It is deep in debt and the Russians are talking of a new arms race, with China as a partner to make it doubly threatening.  Ultimately, the political minions will spend the country into the dirt to build up a military response, and will crash and burn because of it.

Because the play book is so freakin' similar, it's hard to call this anything like a coincidence.  Instead, this is a manufactured series of events designed to do precisely what is being done: a replay of the fall of empire, but with a different empire.

Out of the chaos and destruction, the 'elite' plan to do what they have always done, use these kinds of event sto consolidate power even more.  The last conflagration resulted in the EU and the US empire.  The next one will result in finally achieving global, centralized Empire of All Things.  This EXACT scenario has been played over and over, with the last two major clashes still in living memory, though fading fast.

There's only one sure way to stop it, and that is to realize it's happening.  Then it's just a matter of stopping your unwitting participation by not going along with the propaganda and the jingoism and the willing sacrifice of our children.  But how to do that?

The sure-fire answer is to refuse to pay taxes to any government anywhere, and then stop buying gee-gaws produced by or sold by a corporation.  Simple, isn't it.  Except for one problem.

Trying to get the majority of the world to stop paying taxes and chasing gee-gaws is virturally impossible.  Most people can't think beyond their nose and will pepper spray and maul their fellow human beings to get useless junk on sale before someone else does.  Scanning the Black Friday headlines was depressing.  For all our hubris and self-congratulations on being such advanced creatures, we are nothing of the sort.  Rather, we are greedy, grubbing animals with clothing.

Watching the spectacle of a so-called advanced nation tearing itself to pieces over waffle irons was almost enough to make one want to join the bad guys, because honestly, what's there to save?  Watching people trample a grandfather to death to get at the latest iPoop is simply unbelievable, if not sick-making.

The only thing that spurs one to continue the fight is the prospect of the slimy 'elite' actually succeeding, but it can be argued that they already have.  After all, we humanity jump on command, run blindly after trinkets dangled like carrots before our mule-headed souls, give virtually the same amount of care to our fellow planet dwellers  that they maggot-ridden 'elite' do.

We are divided/dividing because we allow it.  We allow those putrid excuses for lifeforms to push our emotional buttons and create strife and hatred where none existed before.  We allow ourselves to be tricked and fooled, like patrons at an illusionist's mercy.  We have willingly suspended our humanity in favor of turning off our reasoning and storing our self-will.

We are quickly descending the circles of Hell on an express train to the maw of the Great Beast.  The goal is to destroy thos of us who reason and have souls and refuse to be played like chattel animals.  The goal is to filter out those of us who see through the veil and have the will to fight.  The goal is to reduce the world to perverted, blood-line obsessed, megalomaciacal sociopaths, and the unthinking, uneducated, unwashed servant classes.  If they have their way, even those will be reduced to select breedstock and their fresh offspring, waiting to be sacrificed to their depravity.

The fuse is lit and the war will ignite soon.  Once the cell begins to divide, there is no stopping it, short of poisoning and killing it.

The problem, at it's root, is that people keep looking 'out there' for a savior, a deus ex macina, something or someone to come along and save the day.  They give little thought or credence to the fact that the savior is within each one of us.  In fact, the message of Jesus, of Buddha, of all the great religious leaders, is that we are the answer!  Of course, the message gets all garbled up with debt and self-loathing imposed by the 'elite'.  We haven't got much time to grow a little fortitude and take back control of our own destinies.

A cell divides because it is programmed that way.  It has no choice.  It can not select the time that it will divide.  It simply does so on command from some invisible chemical signals.  In the same way, humans are acting on mindless autopilot.  We are being programmed and controlled.

The difference is that we have a choice.  We have higher reasoning and are able to cogitate abstractly about things that are not directly seen or felt.  We can decide whether we want to divide or not by examining all the possible options and choosing the one most beneficial to the greatest number of people.

Look at English slang.  Terms like, "You got owned," and, "You're such a tool," show that, at some level we are aware of what is going on, even if we are not conscious of it.  We have the capability to stop this process and demand the arrest and trial of all those in the 'elite'.

Or we can simply fight over waffle irons and chase iPoops and maul each other for trinkets, and die soon in a blaze of anonymity.  We have that choice.  The right one will take a bit of effort, but it depends on how badly you want to blow up your own children and grandchildren.

The mitochondria have split, the nuclei or nearly formed, and the wall is building.  What's your choice?

Calling Dr. Strangelove

Well, the humor break appears to have been quite popular.  The click count doubled and a good portion of it was folks emailing the link.  Perhaps I'll try it more often.  Seems a good laugh is in order once in a while.  And truly, laughter is the best medicine.

Which brings us to today's rant and rave.  I want to return now to those halcyon days of high school chemistry.

Remember when you discovered that pure potassium exploded when it came into contact with water?  So you flushed gelcap of it down the toilet and watched as the maintenance crew dug for days looking for the hole?  Or how about making wine from Welch's grape juice and then distilling it to 180 proof hooch?  You were so snockered in English class that you thought Beowulf was a comedy, right?

Those were the days.

Hi-jinx aside, though, the concept I want to get into is something called supersaturation.  The experiment was to take a beaker of room-temperature water and start dissolving sugar in it until the water will not hold any more.  The additional sugar collects at the bottom of the glass and can not become suspended because every free molecular bond has been taken.

Then you hold the beaker over a flame and heat it to boiling.  The addition of energy excited the molecules and causes the water to take up additional sugar.  You can dissolve up to twice as much as the solution at room temperature.

You take a stick and rig it so it hangs upside down in the water without touching the beaker in any way.  Almost immediately, crystals begin to form on it.  As the solution cools, the crystals grow until you have a rather tasty rock candy treat.  The crystals are pretty cool, too.  If you do it with salt, you can make little Borg ships, although we didn't know about Borg back then.  We just thought the cubed crystals were cool.  Maybe that's where Star Trek got the idea.

Anyway, the think about Nature is that it's one giant Mandelbrot pattern.  Everything around us, including us, are products of fractals, and so scalable from the most minute to the gargantuan.

Plasma jets can be as simple as a static electric arc on your clothes just out of the dryer, or they can be massive, light-years long ropes of intense energy stretching across galaxies.  Crystals are the same shape, whether they are microscopic or mountainous.

In the same way, human events mirror natural processes.  We behave en masse the way individuals behave.  And our macro processes are the same as our micro processes.  So, if you give any group of people a series of problems, they will eventually reach the saturation point, at which they can no loner handle more problems. However, if you turn up the heat, say by putting a life-threatening consequence behind them, they will suddenly be able to handle a lot more problems...to the point of supersaturation.

If you reduce the heat in any part of that system, crystalline matrices begin to form.  It becomes a cascading event, meaning one connection leads to others as the crystal builds.  If you place some event into the middle of this mixture, then it will attract the crystals, like the stick attracts the sugar, and things will build quickly from there.

The result is predicable and mathematical.  It's a geometric progression: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and so on.  If you use a catalyst, then you turn the geometry into a logarithm.  On a graph, you go from a straight-line predictable progression to a curve, which starts off slowly, then builds until it is nearly vertical to the X-axis.  Think Algore's infamous 'hockey stick' graph here.

What we are seeing in world events right now is a prime example of social supersaturation.  People have reached the point where they can not absorb any additional shocks to the system.  The elite are trying to control the formation of crystals by placing artificial 'seeds' into the mix.  Think here about how rain-drops form.  A 'seed,' perhaps a grain of dust, causes supersaturated moisture in the air to condense on it, forming droplets that eventually get so heavy, they can no longer remain suspended.

The elites have thrown Austerities, Tea Parties and Occupy Wall Streets into the supersaturated mix in order to control the variables in which the crystals form.  In this way, they can engineer the outcome to their nefarious ends.  In other words, they are trying to make rock salt and rock candy for their enjoyment.  As long as the process remains geometric, they will likely be successful.

However, if some unforeseen catalyst enters their little chemistry experiment, the process will go exponential and become less and less predicable.  Events will spiral out of control, even for the massive egos of the elites. They will find an X-factor that they hadn't planned on or couldn't control.  In a beaker, this usually isn't a problem, but at a planetary scale, the results are likely explosive.

What the elites are obviously trying to achieve is a global war on a scale that would make WWII look like a training exercise.  What most people don't generally think about, is why they do these things.

History teaches us that these elite are supranational.  They have no allegiance but to themselves.  They recognize no borders and no nations.  To them, there is only what they have and what they want.  They foment war, lend money and sell materiel to both (all) sides, and account for the profits while the world burns.  They've done it for centuries, even millennia.

Another benefit they derive from this is the massive reduction in population.  These 'people' think the world belongs to them, and every couple of generations, the 'cattle' breeding gets out of hand and need to be culled to clear the pastures a bit.

Finally, they profit from the rebuilding process.  They sell the materials and labor to each other to clean up their playing board so they can tear it down again in a few decades.

Finally, these 'people' feed off of blood sacrifice and the taking of life at a moment of terror.  The energy released in that moment is like butter for their bread.  It is so sick and so heinous that we normal folk can't conceive of such things, or at least we close our minds to it so as not to overwhelm our systems.  But refusing to acknowledge a fact does not change its existence.  It only prevents us from dealing with it effectively.  "Shock and Awe" is not a military tactic, it is mother's milk for these creatures.

We are reaching a crucial moment in history.  Never before have so many people had access to so much information on a mass scale.  The secrets which the elite has jealously guarded for ages uncounted have started leaking out into the mass mind.

It began, really, with Gutenberg and his movable type press.  The Bible was no longer the sole purview of the Church hierarchy,  It was now public domain and folks could read the words for themselves, in context, without someone telling them what it all meant.  This lead to the Protestant Reformation and caused an upheaval in Western culture like nothing seen before it.

Today's Gutenberg press is the internet.  The sum total of Mankind's knowledge and experience is being digitized and disseminated to pretty much anyone who wants it. This time, it's not just a single book, but all books everywhere ever written., for which even the smallest fragments still exist.  The pace of gnosis is running amok, as people access occult information, trade interpretation and discovery, and seek the truth independently of the controlling elite.

At no point in the elite fairy tale we generally call history, has something of this magnitude ever been possible.  It is a catalytic event whose repercussions are inestimable.  Mankind's collective knowledge and development have gone exponential and are rapidly approaching infinite growth.

This is a dangerous time.  The elite know they have lost control and are desperately trying to regain it.  Within hours of 9/11, I and many others were already posting evidence that it was not a simple terrorist hijacking.  Waco and OKC received minute scrutiny from free-thinkers who did not kow-tow to the party line.  They analyzed events, created videos, wrote papers, and published it all to a global audience.

They were vastly unpopular at first.  Most folks couldn't stand having their eyes opened.  If there is one truth I have learned, people hate to think.  Eventually, though, they ask questions, and being unsatisfied with the pat answers, they turn to the internet and research.  There, they find a myriad of thoughts and ideas.  Many will be misled by the disinformation that serves to keep them corralled, but many others will start to think for themselves.

Thinking is a very dangerous thing.  It blocks the mind-control and destroys the illusion of the Great and Wonderful Wizard of Oz.  It is dangerous to the elite, because too many people start performing a revolutionary act: they ask 'why?'  It is dangerous for the individual, because they are no longer safe inside their illusion.  They realize all that they've been taught is false and they are left with no anchor in a rolling sea of world events.

So, here we stand at the cross-roads of time and space.  The elite, being the limited and uncreative beasts that they are, can only access the smae bag of tricks they've depended on for centuries to control the masses.  The masses, on the other hand, can finally look into the bag of tricks and see how they work.  Once that happens, a trick no longer has any effect.

Back to our science experiment.  Society has reached the point of supersaturation with information.  If left in this state, small impurities in the solution will become seeds around which the crystals will form and eventually fall out of solution to the bottom of the glass.  However, if we place our catalyst (stick) in the center, it will focus and accelerate the process and result in a tasty treat.  If we chill the stick a little before-hand, the process will go much faster, to the point where we can watch it happen before our eyes (even with TeeVee attention spans).

Another analogy is one of those cool heating pads, that in a normal state, are just clear liquid in a plastic bag.  But, if you click the little metal disk in the corner, the liquid will immediately crystallize, releasing heat in the process.  Placing it on your aching muscles provides instant relief.

So, we are left pondering now.  Will current events proceed at a geometric and predicable pace, forming crystals around seeds that fall out of the solution, releasing pressure?  Or will they receive a catalyst and suddenly go exponential, forming quickly around a single foci, creating tasty treats and instant relief?

Aye, there's the rub...

Shot Heard 'Round The Block

US: After you.
EU: Oh, no.  I couldn't.

US: Oh, nonono, that won't do.

The Battle of Brooklyn Bridge got underway over the weekend, with the owners of the bridge trying to cross, and the bankster henchmen, I mean NYPD stopping them.

My dad always said that when the revolution gets under way, you'd better have the cops on your side.  I don't think he envisioned JP Morgan blatantly paying a $4.6 million bribe, I mean making donations NYPD.

One ray of hope were the military types who are showing up to help out with Occupy Wall Street.  Of course, they are harder to bribe and their bennies are being ripped off by the very organizations being protested.

The unions are showing up, as well.  But, according to Drudge, they're chanting "Re-elect Obama!" Which can only mean one thing: there are political operatives and agitators infiltrating the ranks, most likely as agents provacateur, and certainly to steal the limelight from real people demanding something be done to curb the bandits in 3-piece suits.

The protests are spreading, to Boston, to LA, to Seattle.  Folks are finally targeting the real criminals, but it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.  I put NOTHING beyond the banksters to cover their Blessed Assurances.

Meanwhile, the EU corpse has already begun to rot, even though it's still in the midst of St. Vitus' Dance.  Folks are beginning to realize that there will be no resurrection from the grave.  Germany has already begun to rake in its marbles to go home.  France is pretending like anyone still listens to them.  The PIIGS are desperately trying to find a move out of checkmate.  And all Britain cares about is whether Kate is preggers or not.

In Asia today, the markets were whipped bloody, with Hang Seng getting hung snug.  Jakarta is senseless and bleeding.  The only one who escapes was Seoul, because they were on holiday.  But they've already been hit so hard that there's not much left to take.

Globally, everyone is holding their breath, both from the stink and from the anticipation.  Who will be the first to shoot.  You know it's inevitable.  These things always end in a bloody mess.  Anyone who isn't making contingency plans for that eventuality had better wean themselves off the Xanax bars.  Short of an alien attack or the Second Coming, there's no other way out of this mess.  Wherever you are now, that's probably where you'll be when the real nasty starts.

You can rest assured that if JP Morgan is willing to bribe the entire NYPD to get their way, then there are no holds barred here, folks.  Lines are being drawn and one should put serious though to which side of it one stands on.  In this next go-round, there won't be any neutrals or third-parties.  There will only be closer and farther away.  Sooner or later, every heart and every mind will be involved.

Most of us don't remember WWII.  Unlike most Gen Xers, my parents were Depression Era/WWII.  My grandfather was a SeaBee in WWI.  So where most of my contemporaries had parent of the Korean War variety, my second-hand education stretches back just a bit further.  And it's not a pretty picture.

My dad got his first pair of new shoes at 12 years old.  His toys, as a youth, were things that he and his friends made from found items.  One was called a 'nigger shooter.'  It was a pistol-shaped piece of wood with a clothes pin attached and a handful of cut-up inner tube.  Another didn't have a name that I remember, but it also used a clothes pin, a broken knife blade, and would launch a strike-ahywhere kitchen match a fair distance while striking it at the same time.

Dad served his time on the home front as a general's aide de camp, but his best friend and one of his brothers served under Patton.  Another brother was in the Pacific.  The third was in the second wave at Normandy.  All survived.  Between them and my grandfather, I got an earful about the gloom in those days.

What's coming makes all that look like spring training, and we don't have half the skills and inventiveness they did.  How many people do you know, including yourself, still save jelly jars for glassware?  How many know how to can fruits and vegetables?  Who can sew, or even has the tools to do it?  Anyone out there with a root cellar?  Does anyone out there know what an ice box is, or how to churn butter, or even where to get fresh whole milk to churn?  Do you know how to make farm cheese?  Can you hunt and field dress an animal?

If you answered no to most or all of these questions, you're in deep shit.

How about some other skills?  Can you navigate by the sun and stars?  Which side of a tree does moss grow on (in the northern hemispere)?  Which mushrooms are edible?  What medicinal plants grow in your area?

Believe it or not, I learned all of this stuff, mostly from my dad and his brothers.  The navigating I learned myself.  When I first arrived in Indonesia, I started studying the local flora.  I know that if I get dengue fever, I need to chew guava leaf, that sort of thing.

Yes, I'm strange, but I may get a bit further down the road than some.

What does all this have to do with protests in Brooklyn, you ask?  Well, that's the opening salvo.  It's the 'shot heard round the block.'  It will escalate, more than likely at the hands of the PTB, but folks will answer.  It always starts like this.  While you have a minute, go read up on Lexington and Concord.  See if you don't detect a few parallels.  Soon we'll have the Blockade of Charleston.  The only real question is "when".  My guess is it's close enough now that you can open the office betting pool.  Closest to the actual date wins 1,000 rounds of ammo.

Poppyboy and Dad used to go on about the coming revolution.  They would fill my head with signs and portends of the coming storm.  They would tell me which things had always worked throughout history, and which didn't.  In a way, Fate has prepared me for this time, if for no other reason than to be able to sit here and tell you, "Watch out!"

Perhaps not.  But that's beside the point.

The point is that IT has begun.  There is no escaping that conclusion.  You should be preparing your heart and mind and your household for the eventuality.  Wishful thinking and willful blindness can not and will not change the course of history.

If there is one ray of hope, it is that the PTB are genuinely afraid.  It is getting out of their control, and they eat control for breakfast.  Like any cornered beast, they will fight with a ferocity that I think most folks are ill-prepared to face.  Clif High at HalfPastHuman.com calls it the 'normalcy bias.'  Folks will deny their own senses until they are run over by the train at the end of the tunnel.

If you did not grow up in the Age of Political Correctness and were not taught that being male is wrong, then you probably played army when you were a strapling.  Remember how you used to strain your senses to catch any sign of someone approaching?  That's where you should be right now.

For God's sake, turn off the TeeVee.  You can't think clearly when someone is telling you what to think.  You must READ all your news.  Reading involves a lot of filters and engaged cognitive function.  It won't take long before you can start reading through the words.  Don't wait.  Start today.

Everything you know is about to change.  You can either stell yourself for it or let it smear you into the pavement.  Your choice.
