The Storm Approacheth

Woohoo!  Brexit!  The masses stood up to be counted!  We won!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  Sorry, folks.  This was the first shot in a battle that is far from over.  If anything, we haven't even begun.  A non-binding plebiscite on independence does not an independent country make.

Paul Craig Roberts nailed it head-on.  Now the real fight begins, and frankly, given the track record of humanity, I hold very little hope that the slim majority shown in the vote will have the stomach for a real fight.  It's one thing to tell the bully, "Leave me alone," it's another altogether to make him.

If the readers here actually believe that a simple vote will cause the elite to just roll over and start the decade-long process of unwinding all the legal and diplomatic webs they have built, then the dear reader is far more naïve than I had hoped.

What the Brexit election was is a means to identify who was against the elite, a survey if you will.  It was akin to one of George III agents going to a tavern in New England in 1774, and yelling "Death to the King," and noting every face who cheered.

No, no, no.  The fun has only begun.

Let me tell you about Brexit.

Get six million people in a room.  Tell them, "Who wants to have a one-week luxury vacation on the Moon?"

The room goes nuts, with 52% of the folks whooping and hollering, while 48% moan and walk out.

"Great!  Now that we are down to the hardcores, I need you to donate $50 billion, and spend the next 10 years working really hard to build the resort at Tycho crater!"  Most of the remaining crowd moans and walks out.

You address the four folks still sitting in the front row.  "OK, now the true believers are here.  I will warn you that our opponents will do everything from ridicule us to sabotaging everything we do."

Suddenly, you are preaching to a room full of crickets.

That's Brexit, folks.

When it comes to the nut-cuttin', as we say on the farm, the reality sets in and we find out just how much people want freedom.  If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times: people are too comfortable now to really work for liberty.

The elite have already shown what they can and will do to ensure Brexit doesn't happen.  They will crash the Pound Sterling, they will withdraw funding from companies and public works projects and everything in between.  They will turn the media against it.  They will trot out the diplomatic corps to negotiate every possible compromise.  And if you are still sitting there after all that, they will destroy your comfortable life and take away your toys and probably your families, and then they will try to commit you to an insane asylum.  And I mean this very literally.  I have been through it.

If you really think you are committed to Brexit, or any other similar campaign, you ain't seen nothing yet.  Brace yourself.

Look, these elite have spent centuries (at least since the 1600s) building their little global paradise.  There is no way in God's Green Shit Hole they are going to give it all up over a single, simple vote.

If you are a supporter, or God help you, actually committed to this fight, you better get ready.  It will escalate to levels you can't even imagine.  You will be forced to spend yourself into the poor house, while at the same time fighting at every turn.  It will come at you from every angle.  The worst of it will come when you think you've won and it gets rather quiet.  Just as you think you can start re-building, that's when the hammer will fall and the worst of it will come.

People are not prepared for these things.  They have been instilled with this image of democracy as being something where they just vote and it happens.  Folks aren't entirely to blame, since the propaganda has been hot and heavy in their faces since birth.  The fact is, voting means nothing.  Never has.  It's the battle that comes after the vote that counts.

If the effort goes much beyond a few after-vote parties, here's what will happen:

  1. Stock markets and currencies will start tanking;
  2. Public services will stop working (probably famous Labour Strikes);
  3. Banks will start foreclosing on mortgages;
  4. Savings and pension funds will vanish;
  5. Media will demonize and ridicule the movement;
  6. Dozens of "reasonable" compromises will be offered;
  7. And if all that doesn't stop it, they will just shoot and incarcerate you.
They will get away with all this because they own the "legal" system and the media and the markets.  They can enrich you or impoverish you at a whim, and it won't touch their net worth.  No one will dare stand with you because the attention of the PTB might turn on them next.

When they are done, you will be, at the very best, a lunatic crank, and at the worst a dangerous terrorist, and nothing you do will change that, because folks watch TeeVee and are told who and what you are, and no one will believe anything you say to the contrary.

Are you, dear Brexit supporter, ready for this?  Do you think you can withstand that kind of onslaught?  You had better be prepared, because the more success you have, the more this pressure will come to bear, until you are living in squalor scratching for food.

If you can withstand it, if you make it through all of this, then the reward will be generations of liberty and freedom, not for you, but for those who follow.  Most folks today don't care about the future, they want their rewards now.  Because of that societal narcissism, movements like Brexit always fail.  Honestly, who cares about their great-grandchildren?  Especially when we can eat, drink and be merry right now!  Their world is their problem.  We don't want to suffer for them!

Yes, let us celebrate Brexit and the power of the people.  Let us party like it's 1776.  Let us slap each other on the back and congratulate ourselves on how clever we are.  The worst is yet to come.

I'm not a pessimist.  I truly hope that the Brits will follow through, and that many others will rise up, as well.  But I have been through the worst of it and seen what can and will be done to ensure the elite win.  It is not pretty.

Revolutions are easy to start and nearly impossible to win, especially in an age of narcissism and global media, when your toys can be taken away with the flip of a switch, and you can become a demon overnight with almost no chance to change it, and the you life and those of people you love and care about are nothing more than tools to destroy you.

This may all sound rather bleak, and it is, but it is what people face if they really want Brexit.

I may be completely wrong and the whole thing will just sail on through, but is it better to prepare for the storm and get sunshine, or the other way around?

27.6.16

Dawn Of Personhood, Part 2

As I set up in Part 1, the EU has begun a process to give robots a new legal classification of "person," called "electronic person."  We reviewed the legal entity called "person" and the ancient origin of this concept.  We then prepared to look at the possible outcome of such a move and how the outcome will affect Humanity for centuries to come.

We must admit that there has been an "elite" in every human culture throughout the collective history of our species.  This elite has, until the past two centuries, been generally isolated to particular cultures or regions.  In recent history, these elite have merged and aligned to create a global venue for their control systems.

Until recently, this elite has relied heavily on the rest of us "useless eaters" to perform the drudgery of daily life.  The non-elites have been the maids and nanies, butlers and chefs, and the button-pushers and lever pullers that made the elites' lives comfortable and trouble-free.

If one played by the elite rules, one could advance to the point of being very close to that inner circle.  One would be allowed to become famous and wealthy.  The rewards have flowed generously to the corporate leaders, court jesters, intellectual justifiers, and middle managers of the human race, as long as they pleased the elite and advanced their agenda.

The human race being what it is - desiring to be free, but burning to serve - it has slowly evolved over the centuries to demand workers' rights, equality, opportunity, and so on.  The elites have obliged by throwing the occasional bones, but those only last so long.

So, when technology finally advances to the point where "electronic persons" are possible, suddenly there is a big push to create and distribute them.  There is no discussion, no public discourse, no debate on the morals and ethics involved.  Just push them out the door at break-neck speed.

To me, the goal is clear: create a "race" of beings completely subservient and tireless that can serve the elite in the way, and without the trouble that humans bring, they are used to.  The rest of humanity is disposable, as long as the elites are not inconvenienced in any way.  They want to live in the clouds, high above the rabble and dirt and grime.  They want to hand down their edicts on humanity and otherwise not be disturbed by our wants and needs.

Enter the robots.

Obviously, the rest of humanity will not put up with this forever.  Eventually, enough robots will replace humans, and enough jobs be lost, that humanity will rise up and cast off the technological utopia that the elite are building for themselves.  It is a race against time now.  Can the elite build and deploy their mechanical servants faster than humanity wakes up?

What is quite apparent, at least to me, is that these elite are setting up a civilization apart from the rest of us.  They are putting their vast wealth, accumulated over centuries, to work building the means to finally and completely severe themselves from the writhing masses of unwashed humanity.  At some point, and rather soon I think, they will have the ability to either get rid of the rest of us, or leave this planet altogether, and robots are the key to that final schism.

We are seeing a splintering of our race into an elite group completely divorced of its need for lower classes, and the lower classes who have developed a need to serve the elite in order to survive.  The elite class has, until now, needed the rest of us to carry out the daily drudge of running the infrastructure of society that keeps the elite in their places.  The rest of us have needed the elite to pay us and grant favors to us so that we can rise above the squalid masses, if even just a little.

History is full of the elite treating the rest of us as slime, and the rest of us rising up and demanding equality.  For the entirety of history, the elite have granted small increments of freedom and self-determination in order to calm the masses back into subservience, but what will happen when the elite have an entire class of beings - electronic persons - who don't require basic amenities to feel human?  How will the elite react when, in fact, us useless eaters are truly useless to them?

There are two clear options ahead.  The elite must either wipe out the rest of humanity in order to finally possess the Earth for themselves, or they must leave and take up residence elsewhere.

In the first case, we seem to see quite a bit of evidence that the elite are trying to eradicate the rest of humanity.  Conspiracy theories aside, vaccines, geo-engineering, chemical toxicity, food quality (GMOs), and many other programs in concert appear to be a massive effort to sterilize, if not kill outright, the remainder of humanity.  If we, for a moment, put ourselves in the mindset of the elite who wish to "cleanse" the Earth of an infestation that is inconveniencing them, then multiple programs on many different fronts, each with plausible deniability alone, but in total adding up to a mass extinction effort, would seem to make a kind of Faustian sense.

On the other hand, if we the elite had decided to blow this Popsicle stand, then an all-out program to find habitable planets elsewhere, combined with programs to reseed other planets in our own back yard would likely be the signs of this kind of effort.

Since we see both going on, it would seem that the elite are hedging their bets.  On the chance that they can't find some place more to their liking within reach, then cleansing the Earth is the backup plan.

Either way, they need a servant class that is compliant and servile to see to their every need.  Enter the robot.

There is one problem with all of this, and it highlights the weakness of the elite.  They cannot survive without servants.  They have bred and coddled themselves into a genetic corner.  They have everything they could possibly want, except the ability to survive without 24/7 servants seeing to the more difficult aspects of living.

This is a true and deadly weakness.  Most of the masses have done so much with so little for so long, that surviving in adverse conditions is second-nature, and the elite know it and they fear us for it.  They have lost the ability to do even the most basic tasks because they have never had to learn.  Not just since birth, but for generations, they have never had to face true adversity. To them, a dip in the markets due to Brexit is about as difficult as life gets.

What all of this boils down to is that we masses have a choice.  They cannot live without servants, and they are trying desperately to create a new class of mechanical entities to replace us troublesome humans.  Either we let them, or we don't.  Simple.

Throughout history, the elite have always had new places to run.  First, it was regions of the EurAsian continent, then the New World, but the places to hide are getting slim due to the unbridled breeding of humans.  Creating a class of beings they think are more controllable is their solution, and we will all suffer for it, one way or another, if we allow it.

The EU decision to create "electronic persons" is the first shot in what will become, sooner or later, the battle of Humanity, and quite possibly the Earth itself.

Perhaps you accuse me of hyperbole, but an honest and profound examination of history, plus a serious and clear pondering of the near future given the facts hidden in plain sight, will inevitably lead to the same conclusions.

Other writers and researchers have focused on finances, or space technology, or other aspects of this growing war to come to the conclusion that there is an increasing separation, or breakaway of civilizations.  I have chosen to focus on robots as one of the key means by which the separation will be achieved.  And it is coming fast.

We masses have been responsible for our own education for a long time.  The public systems are nothing more than sorting pens for the elites purposes.  It is time now to turn our intellects to being proactive.  We must education ourselves on the legal and technological issues facing us right now.  Will we allow an artificial race to be created?  One that relegates the majority of humans to third-class status, even completely disposable?

When you see robots presented as cute, cuddly fun, you should be horrified and indignant.  It is time to react appropriately to our own demise.

Joke-Xit

Ever have one of those days, that becomes one of those weeks, and turns out to be one of those months?

I have.  I call it June 2016.

Must be the "strawberry Moon" or something.

Before I start bitching, might as well tell all our good readers in the Northern Hemisphere happy summer.  And to all you good folks in the Southern Hemisphere, happy winter!  And to all us folks living on the equator, happy more of the same ole stuff.

Yesterday started with a call to meet my agent at the immigration office to get my annual mug shots and fingerprints done.  By the time I wended my way through Jakarta traffic to get there, a branch had fallen and severed the data line and the whole damn system was offline.

Great.  So bundle up and head cross town to the office only to get there in the nick of time to run out again on a series of meetings.  No coffee or nuttin'.

Today, I get a desperate call at 8am to go to the immigration office again.  So, you know the drill.  Anyway, I get there and have to sit for an hour waiting to get my vitals done.  At least there was a fan next to me.

Get to the office after heroic battle with Jakarta traffic, only to find out everyone is out sick or something today.  So, joy.  I can get some real work done, except that the person operating the background music in the office hit the wrong cue, so I have to listen to Christmas carols all day, I suppose.

Ah, Life on the Far Side.  Ain't it grand?  But, as Marty Feldman said in Young Frankenstein, "Could be worse.  Could be raining."  Of course, this is the tropics and it may start the deluge at any moment.

Anyway, don't want to bore you with all my happiness and love.  I want to bore you with politics and grousing about the way things are.  After all, that's why you come here, right?

So any way...

They killed Jo Cox in the UK so that everyone would think it was the Pro-Brexit gang and would turn on them, which they all did on cue.  Those PTB bastards sure know how to play the game.  Shame more people don't see it.  If you haven't figured it out by now, there is no way in God's Green Hell they are going to let the UK out of the EU.  Just a fact.  Get used to it.

Just like there is no way on God's Green Slimeball that Trump will ever get elected.  Just a fact.  Get used to it.

They will do anything to protect their precious little empire, and for all the noise and bluster, folks will just knuckle under and take it in the back door without WD-40, because that's the way people are.  And that's the way this game is played.

Folks get all riled up and ready to change things, then one little hiccup and the whole thing comes crashing down and everyone goes home and sulks.

It's so predictable as to be almost laughable.  We keep having these "revolutions" that fizzle out and folks just bend over and wait for the Big Slimy PTB to give it to them.  Remember Howard Jarvis?  Ron Paul?  Ross Perot?  John Anderson?  Jeremy Corbyn?  Donald Trump?  Barack Obama?

Yeah, I put Corbyn and Trump on that list because by this time next year, they'll be "remember whens" as well.  Same song, different verse.  Everyone gets all bowed up until the hardball comes out.

Enjoy it.  I've seen these revolutions come and go in the past 50 years.  I grew up in the 60s when everyone was going to change the world.  Then JFK and RFK got shot and POOF, all the air went out of that balloon and pretty soon, along came the 80s and all those idealists sold out for a little retirement money - which, by the way, is evaporating now, just as they need it.  See?  Sold out your ideals and got sold up the river, didn't you?

I'm like George Carlin: I'm not in this dog-and-pony show anymore.  I just sit back and watch the tide come in and go out.  Seems to be just about once a decade, if my count is right.

See, back in the old days, life was pretty rough and folks didn't lose much if they took a stand and changed the known world.  Now-a-days, folks have their VR systems, and their social media, and their dish washers, and their washing machines, and their houses (that they don't own).  If they ever really take a stand again the PTB, they would lose all their comfy gee-gaws and their internet connections and life would be a little difficult, and well, we just don't want to suffer,do we?  We've gotten soft and used to our A/C, heat and grocery stores.

Damn it!  We only want a revolution if it doesn't inconvenience us in any way.

The PTB know this and that's why Brexit and Trump will never win.  They hold our comfy lives for hostage, and golly gee whiz, we just don't want to give up all that to save future generations.

28.2.15

Where The Hell Art Thou?

OK, OK, everyone just calm down.  Sheesh!  We stop posting for six months and you'd think the world was coming to an end...which it just might if NATO and ISIS get their ways.

Anyway, yes we haven't lashed our faithful readers with our trademark wry viewpoints since August last year, but we have damn good excuses!  To start with, right about the time we last gurbled on this site, we managed to contract typhus, amoebic dysentery and dengue fever, all in the space of six weeks.  We laid prone in a krankenhaus for 20 days having all sorts of witches' brews pumped directly into our veins, though the nurses were rather cute, so we didn't complain too much.

We managed to survive, though barely.  There were days when we were sure we would never assault our readers again, but much to your chagrin, dear reader, we muddled through.

Laundry lists of tropical diseases notwithstanding, we've also been hard at work completing and commissioning Jakarta's premier arts and entertainment complex - a $22 million exhibition hall, museum and live theater - called The Ciputra Artpreneur.  Projects of this size have a way of sucking up all of one's energy and free time, so we haven't had much left for our usual rants and raves in our little digital safe room here.

Yes, it's easy to sit around slinging bits and bytes telling everyone that they should do this and must do that to change the world, but it's a much bigger proposition to be an actual, real live positive force in the actual, real live world.

Just so the gentle reader knows, we put our actions where our mouth is.  We would never tell someone to do something we weren't willing to do ourselves.

What it all comes down to is this: what can you do to make the world a better place in your little part of the world.  We have explored the fact that the PTB are trying desperately to destroy culture, beauty and individual creativity.  It offends them that us sugar ants on their tables of privilege dare to improve the world, rather than destroy it, as they do oh-so-well.

Art is dangerous to the controlling class.  It is why they try so hard to destroy music, trash the fine arts and turn performace into celebrations of filth and baseness.  They can't stand that we seek to elevate ourselves and celebrate beauty and harmony.  They cringe that we seek rhythm and balance.  They shiek in horror when one of us dares to stand out as a force for good and joy.

Which is why we must do all in our power to achieve these things.

Their moda operandae are gore, hate, destruction, and filth.  They wallow in death and destruction like diseased swine, and must lower everyone else to their level so as not to feel the pain of their lack of humanity.  They dine on our pain and bathe in our suffereing.  Every soul they corrupt is another grotesque trophy on their mantle.  Can you imagine the profound emptiness they feel when just one of us rises above and creates something of beauty?

And so the responsibility falls on us, dear reader.  We do not need weapons.  We do not need harshness or force.  We do not need to fight fire with fire, for then we descend to their pit of Ultimate Evil.

Instead, we counter them with beauty.  We create and celebrate the creations.  We take the rubble of their hate and build new works of great Humanity.  We halt their onslaught with magnificent splashes of color and glorious strokes of sound.  We refuse to buy into their degradation, and instead support and encourage those who dare to greatness.

It is a shame that so many great artists have died in abject poverty, while others make vast fortunes trading on their work.  This is a symptom of greed and hate.

Instead, we should buy a painting, commission a song, help publish a book.  Imagine if you took all the money and time used for lousy TV programs and crap movies and trash novels, and put it into supporting a local artist, writer or performer.  Suppose you helped send a child to music school, or helped a group of youngsters stage a great play, or offered to pay to publish another's first book?  What kind of ripples would that send through the world?  What great things would happen years from now because of that simple act?

The other day, I was in a meeting with a group of children, aged 11 to 17, who had formed their own quintet.  I listened to one lovely girl, 17, play Mozart on the violin.  I listened to another girl, 13, play Mendelsohn also on the violin.  I listened to a boy, 14, play Beethoven on the viola.  Their fingering and bowing was impeccable.  Their phrasing was interpretive and emotional.  Each told a short story about the composer and the background of their chosen pieces.  And they did it in flawless English, a second language for them.  The youngest member is a boy, aged 11, who plays the cello.  It is bigger than he is.

I'm going to hire them to play at the Ciputra Artpreneur Grand Opening Gala Event on 26 May, when the first Broadway musical ever (Disney's Beauty and the Beast) will open in Jakarta.

They deserve all the encouragement I can give them.

3.2.13

The Real New World Order

The death of ideologies are particularly nasty historical events.  They happen every few hundred years throughout history, and when they do, all hell breaks loose.

Beginning in the 1600s, with the Enlightenment, the ancient system of monarchy began to die.  Its death throes were marked by major revolutions, among them America, France, Italy, and finally Russia at the turn of the 20th century.

The death of monarchy produced a power vacuum at a time when the world was starting to link together in ways never thought of prior to the Enlightenment.  The whole thing was predicated on the invention of the printing press in Europe (the Chinese has it centuries before) and the democratization of information.  As books disseminated and knowledge spread among the common folks, they became less and less enthralled by majesty and royalty.

The common man was now privy to the same information that only kings once had.

Slowly, over the course of 200 years, royalty began to be replaced with self-rule, the idea that each human being was capable of being a sovereign in their own right.  They didn't need a monolithic church or divine king to tell them what was in their best interests.  At worst, monarchies were destructive and deadly, even to their own subjects.

The death of monarchies reach a fever pitch in World War 1, which started as little more than a family feud among European royal houses.  By the end of the war, the monarchs had been replaced by 'people's houses': legislative bodies such as parliaments.  Where monarchies survived, they were primarily figureheads, such as the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Spain.  The only one retaining any amount of real power was Britain, but even there, that power is rarely exercised in an overt manner.

Into the vacuum of power stepped competing groups and interests.  They formed blocs such as political parties and the like.  Before long, these power blocs became little more than mafiosi, with top leadership being handed down in a way very similar to the monarchies using hand-appointed, or in some cases genetic succession.

The battle to see which mafiosi would control the reins of power is commonly called World War 2.  Political parties vied for supreme power in the wake of royal leaders.  Some were wildly successful, such as the Nazi party, and had to be put down by other competing interests.

Finally, an unsteady truce was reached with two opposing ideologies at a stand-off with each other.  This was the creation of the East/West paradigm and the Cold War.  The two ideologies carved the world in two like rival mafia dons and dared the other to step over the line.  There were various turf battles, called Korea, Vietnam, and so forth, but the truce held for several decades.

Then the Western bloc got greedy.  They weren't happy with their piece of the pie and wanted the whole thing.  They pushed the Eastern bloc to the point of breaking and then stepped into the gap to offer their brand of mafia rule.

Two things happened, though.  One, although weakened, the Eastern bloc was not ready to surrender its turf.  They played along for a bit, especially the Chinese bloc, in order to get their hands on some of the fabulous wealth being horded by the Western families.  Two, the internet came along.

The latter was a massive destabilizing force.  If the printing press had led to the death of monarchy and the rise of people power, then the internet was the same effect on steroids.   Vast databases of information, instantaneous communications and the ability to circumvent propaganda shook the ruling mafiosi and quickly undermined their hold on power.

The internet is a power they hadn't reckoned with and can no longer put back in the bag.  In the wake of the printing press, the ruling classes invented libraries.  With libraries, they could at least keep control of information.  Most books were lent out for a limited time and fees were charged if returned late.  In the case of rare and potentially 'harmful' information, though, they could keep that in special collections and only allow limited access after an application process.

Just as a for instance, the Book of Kells at Trinity College in Dublin was only available to those who could get to the display, and even then, the pages were only turned once a day, so that one had to come every day for a year to be able to view the whole book.  Now, one can surf over and find beautiful electronic images of the book and read the whole thing at home in a sitting, if one wants.  And that is but one example of thousands.

The internet created a monster, from the point of view of the mafiosi.  For one, any human with access to the internet had the same information as the ruling classes.  For another, it allowed people to research and learn at an amazing pace and in turn expose the machinations of the ruling classes.  That was a huge mistake on their part.

It's like a hole in a dam.  At first the water trickles out and is easy to plug for a time.  But the pressure of the water behind the dam, and the corrosive action of the water itself continues to enlarge and undermine the dam until it collapses and a tidal wave of history ensues.

So here we are and a junction of human affairs like no other in our collective memories.  We've been in a time of transition from a form of rule that lasted for thousands of years, to something that will eventually be the sovereign individual acting with enlightened self-interest to control and regulate their own affairs, and form alliances with whoever they please.  In other words, the Age of Centralized Power is dying, to be replaced by something new and unprecedented.

I agree with Richard Dolan, Joseph Farrell and others that we are seeing the birth of a breakaway civilization, but I think it is nothing more than a very old practice, just on a massive scale.

I believe that the mafiosi, seeign the writing on the wall, are doing what all deposed rulers have done throughout history: they are bagging up their loot and rounding up their most trusted henchmen and going into exile.

In the past, though, there was always some Elba, some isolated refuge for these out-of-work despots.  In recent times, we saw it with Ghadaffi and Mubarak squirreling away the goodies and getting the family out of harm's way.  But if you are a member of the PTB, and your crimes are so heinous that the masses would never be satisfied with a simple hanging, and there was no place on Earth you could run, what would you do?

Head for the stars.

The panic among the PTB that many writers, researchers and thinkers have detected in most likely not some catastrophe from outside, but rather a rush to gather up as much loot and get out of town before the torches and pitchforks come to the door.

The whole financial mess, with its 'bailouts' and 'gold repatriation' are nothing more than signs that at least some of the most powerful mafiosi are getting ready to bail out and take their booty with them.  The only place they can run where they are reasonably assured the masses can't follow, at least for now, is space.

How long this process will last is anyone's guess.  We know that it took 400 years for the collapse of monarchy and the rise of republics, but the pace of change now is running at a rate no one could have anticipated.  The Age of Mafia has run its course in just over 100 years, and with more and more people 'waking up', the final convulsion can not be far off.

It's safe to assume that this transition will be just as bloody and messy as past events, though on a scale unimaginable to us sitting here today.  No one will be unscarred, whether physically, emotionally or spiritually.

From the perspective of centuries from now, the past 500 years may all be seen as a single event transitioning humanity from its infancy to adulthood.  Indeed, as a species we are acting like unruly teenagers rebelling against the forces that ruled us through childhood, yet not quite ready to assume full responsibility as adults.  We know that we can not remain attached to the apron strings, but we have no idea what we are facing 'out there'.

What is required at this point is for every human to pull back from the bills, the kids and the routine of daily life, and start contemplating the Really Big Picture.  What comes after this turbulent moment in history will affect all of us, but we can no longer sit back and let someone else fix things for us.  In the new age, we will all be responsible for what we become, individually and collectively.

Furthermore, if this really is the end of the nation-state and centralized government, we will all be responsible for running our own affairs.  A man's home will truly be his castle.  We individuals will be fully and completely responsible for our own success or failure, and the morals and ethics with which we control our lives.

The internet has brought all the information once reserved only for kings into our homes at the touch of a button.  Now we all have the same rights and responsibilities that we once delegated to some 'authority' figure.  The responsibility for educating ourselves and acting on what we learn is squarely in our individual hands.

It's a frightening moment, like when we first leave home and get our own apartment.  Now we have to do our own shopping, cooking, cleaning, and organizing without the prompting of others.  The world will never be the same again.

And just like adolescence, there will be parents who don't want to relinquish control (PTB), and children who don't want to leave the carefree life of the parents' house (welfare recipients).  These competing interests will fight the overwhelming majority of teenagers who are ready to step out on their own, and the clash will not be pretty.

Nevertheless, it is necessary.  All life must grow and change, and in a fractal Universe, what happens to the individual is mirrored in eve larger scales.  We are entering a new iteration that will define humanity for the next couple of millennia.  It is as inevitable as sunrise and sunset.  Those who prepare for it will survive, and those who don't will not.  It is the nature of Nature.

Welcome to puberty, Humankind.

Simple Questions, Complex Answers

One of our long-term readers and correspondents, LK, has done it again by sending a huge, loaded question using their regular economy of words:
"What is your take on the military and CIA and how O is getting rid of them?"
I could take the easy route out of this one and say that Obama is paving the way for the Anticrhrist, and I'd have backup, but I'll resist the temptation and delve a bit deeper into this issue.

Let's dispose of the Petaeus case first.  In case you've been under a rock for the past decade, and a lot of folks are, David Petraeus was the US general sent into Afghanistan to oversee the "Quiet Surge" against Afghan "Taliban warlords and strongmen", and prevent the Anglo-American Empire from becoming yet another victim in the long line of historic empires who met their doom in that land.

Forget for a moment that under the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan in the 80s, it was known as "military escalation" against "Taliban freedom fighters".  See Tom Hanks in "Charlie Wilson's War".

In a desperate attempt to keep the American public on track with the war effort, Petaeus was built up into a military genius and his "Surge" was considered highly successful, though facts tend to disagree.  As a reward, Petraeus was handed the reins of the CIA, figuring he'd be a compliant sort, lest the PTB take away his glorious mantle.

Well, it seems that Petraeus knows a great deal about the events in Benghazi and the death of the Libyan ambassador there.  So much, in fact, that he was called to testify before Congress.  My guess, and this is a good bet, was that he stated to his handlers unequivocally that he wouldn't lie under oath.  This wouldn't do, since it would undermine the five or six officious versions of those events and even lead to Obama being brought up on criminal charges before Congress (often called impeachment).

For damage control, Petraeus was pushed...er, fell on his sword to bury a few big skeletons in the US closet.  We can assume this since having an extra-marital affair is about as unusual in Washington as cockroaches in a New York brownstone.  Hell, if Bill Clinton could get away with leaving "DNA evidence" on Monica Lewinsky's blue dress, not to mention JFK's dalliances, we can easily assume much deeper motives in this case.

Of course, this is all speculative, but history and the evidence presents a strong argument.

Now, as for the larger question of disassembling the military, we will have to climb a bit further out on the limb of speculation, but I believe the cumulative events of the past 20 years will support the weight.

First of all, we must define current events.  There are basically two major groups vying for world domination.  One is the Socialists (often called communists, which is a gross misnomer), and the other is called the Fascists.  The Socialists envision the world dominated by the State and operated by a central steering committee.  The Fascists see the world dominated by corporate interests and run by a Board of Directors.  The central goal is the same, this is only an argument over who's heel the world will be squashed under, and how it will be done.

In the US, these interests are represented by the Democratic and Republican parties respectively.  In other countries, they have different names, but in nearly every case, there are two dominant parties who simply trade reins back and forth in things euphemistically called 'elections'.  The Socialists want to unwind the military and middle classes of strong Fascist economies in order to subject everything to the States.  The Fascists want to build up the militaries and middle classes in order to prosecute their wars of domination over Socialist strongholds.

The Socialist faction is centered around Russia, China and parts of Europe, while the Fascist segment is headquartered in the US and UK.  The recent US elections were a victory for the Socialists, which is why the corporate media and business interests are wringing their hands.  The firing of Petraeus and other efforts to undermine the US military are also related to the Socialist efforts to bring the corporate war machine to heel.  By discrediting Fascist military leaders, the Socialists can advance their people into key positions, and with Obama being a lame-duck president, he is free now to begin the pogrom in earnest, having fooled enough of the population into supporting him.

The Socialists have also gone out of their way to undermine the middle classes of the US and Europe.  The Socialists want something similar to Orwell's dystopia in "Nineteen Eighty-Four", while the Fascists envision a strong middle class controlled by creature comforts and gee-gaws.  In actuality, we are seeing a sort of amalgam emerging globally, with the growth of Asia's and the subversion of the West's middle classes.  In effect, the independent Fascist middle classes must be brought to heel, while the cowed populations of Socialist states can be allowed to enjoy some rewards in order to keep them tied to the wheel of state.

In order to create the fusion of Socio-Fascism, the US/UK military might must be crushed and a new leadership with more compliant and less nationalistic allegiances must be installed.

Given the growth of Asian middle classes and the soon to be complete destruction of Western middle classes, plus the balancing of military strength across the planet, that some kind of truce has been made at the highest levels of global domination, with a fusion of the two competing economic and political systems being the consensus outcome.  Eventually, probably sooner than later, an equilibrium will be struck globally with power being shared between corporate and state interests.

Whether this will be a successful marriage of opposites (not complete since they share the same overarching goal) remains to be seen.  Certainly, the masses seem content when they have disposable income, TeeVees and little blinky lights in a box to distract them.  However, there seems to be a need on the part of the PTB to completely expunge the independent spirit still flickering in certain Western cultures.  Those people must be completely dismembered and rebuilt in the image of the PTB.

For their part, the PTB seem to have come to a consensus.  The Socialists see the value of creature comforts and hypnotic toys in keeping the masses controlled, while the Fascists have witnessed the value of forced production and consumption.  And certainly both sides are happy with the re-election of Obama and the fall of Petraeus, since it advances the goal of subduing the West into the global empire.  The Obamacare tax beginning next year will be the final nail in that coffin.

On the other side is a small but growing number of people who realize that slavery is slavery, whether the chains are gold or steel.  There is a definite war going on with the Socio-Fascists on one side and the free humans on the other.  The Ron Paul campaign exposed a great number of them, and that may in fact have been the purpose of allowing Ron Paul to be as successful as he was, whether or not Paul was aware of it (and I haven't decided which yet).

The free thinkers have been drawn into the open now.  Their positions and strongholds have been revealed.  If you perceive the PTB being a little cockier and more at ease, this is why.  The final battle for global domination can begin in earnest now, since all sides and see each other clearly.  The problem is that most free thinkers don't know what they've done yet.  People like Assange and Paul have smoked out the resistace and the PTB can target them at last.

Where is all this leading?  Well, that is entirely up to you, dear reader.  First, you must decide if you are a Socio-Fascist or free thinker.  Then you must determine what defensive and offensive positions you will assume.  Finally, you must take positive action to join one side or the other.  The time for fence-sitting is finally past and the Big Showdown is at hand.  The only weapon the free thinkers have is creativity and culture.  The PTB have shown their modus operandi over the past 500 years.  It only requires a commitment to study on your part to get up to speed.

As usual, LK has opened a large can of worms with a simple question.  The answer requires every non-zombie to face the decision of what price they are willing to pay for "peace and security".  The evidence and strategy are plain enough to support this speculation.

So, which is it?  The freedom to choose your own path?  Or the security of having it chosen for you?  The former will require you to leave everything behind, while the latter will see everything taken from you by force.  By 'everything' I mean dignity and self-achievement, not toys and gee-gaws.

Petraeus served his masters well, and we see the price of his loyalty.

As for me, give me liberty or give me death.

This just in from another long-time reader, correspondent and benefactor of our efforts...
"Hello Bernard:

Again, we appreciate your blogs. Keep up the vigil.

In your Y2K+12+Doom rant you posed a good point about all those instantly disappearing dissenters, such as the many Ron Paul supporters, following the Obama 2.0 selection. Like thousands of others I believe had done, I wrote in my vote for Paul. However there is not one mention in the media or alternative media about him that I can find.

I wanted to send you a link to an interesting article that you might not know about because it is on a financial website.

http://www.financialsense.com/contributors/cris-sheridan/big-data-meets-big-government-moneyball-world-now

Along with moneyball and and scientific advances in neuromarketing techniques being used by the media there isn't much hope for all those Facebook members armed with Ipods and a deficit in critical thinking skills, which is just about everybody. Remember in "The Manchurian Candidate" when everybody in the company was going around parroting the same phrase, "Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life." Well, a lifelong friend emailed me after the election and said enthusiastically, "Did you hear Obama's acceptance speech? He is the kindest, warmest, most wonderful man!" The heartfelt letdown is that my friend really meant what she said and there was nothing I could say for an answer without being terribly insulting.

Sometime I feel very alone, but your website is a great lift.

Best wishes,
RF

P.S. You know what I miss the most about Indonesia. Riding on a crowded public bus with all those gentle, sensitive people,,,and durian...I miss durian.
Excellent points there.  Especially the one about the strange Obama zombies.  All very worrisome, indeed.

As for the durian, I know just what you mean.  And that brings up another simple question.  Who was the first person to look at a football-sized fruit with lethal spines all over it that smelled like month-old gym socks stuffed with rotten onions and contained yellow, slimy worm-like fruit and think, "Hey, that looks good to eat!"

The Thought Heard Round The World

"...and the rockets' red glare,
the bombs bursting in air..."

Ah, the immortal words of war enshrined in the American national anthem.  It's no wonder the country prepares to celebrate independence by positioning war ships and materiel offshore of yet more targets of unilateral aggression.  It's no wonder that country has populated the world with war drones and bathed other nations in blood and depleted uranium.

It's no wonder no one is too upset about Fukushima.  The Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya wars have unleashed amounts of radiation that will take some reactors in Japan a few more years to match.

Any more, independence day is pretty much an oxymoron, at least as far as America goes.  About the only thing left there that's still independent are the banksters and corporations that run the country.  Everything else is owned lock, stock and two smoking barrels.

Kind of a shame, too.  It was a great idea.  Those founder guys imagined a land where everyone was educated to the hilt.  They foresaw a new Golden Age based on enlightened citizens spending summer afternoons arguing the finer points of Plato, Descartes and Bacon.  They dreamed of a nation that incorporated Rome in its glory mixed with Atlantis, populated by philosopher-kings whose realms were loosly confederated into an absolutely egalitarian society that would lead the world in moral, ethical and intellectual pursuits.

Oops.

Looks like things got derailed somewhere around Lincoln.

I suppose the dream could be recaptured, but it would take at least a century, since that's how long the Prussian model schools have been indoctrinating the nation's youth.  It would take at least two generations just to undo all the damage caused by psychiatry and social workers.  It wouldn't be easy, either.  People being deprogrammed tend to react badly.  Just ask Tom Cruise.

Look at the great hordes of folks that, despite 60 years of evil unleashed by Washington, America is the "greatest nation on Earth" and the least corrupt, most lawful nation with the highest standard of living and the best of everything.

It's not.

It's just another empire, like all the empires that have come before, and the ones likely to follow.  The most probable legacies of America are fast food and nuclear weapons.  The most enduring empire in history is the Roman, and it had to disguise itself as a church and religion to do it.  That's about the only thing Washington hasn't tried yet, but they are certainly trying, if you listen to the holy rhetoric coming from the sacred gobs.

America could take a lesson from Indonesia.  You see, here the politicians and bureaucrats simply ignore the law, much as they do in the States.  The difference is, the Indonesian people follow suit.  They figure if the lawmakers don't abide by their own laws, why should we?  You end up with a kind of beautiful mildly controlled anarchy that works just fine, thank you.

No need to worry, though.  It seems, at least from listening to the news and various prognosticators, that everything is about to change in rather profound ways.

Naturally, the PTB are fear-mongering because that is what they do best.  They use fear to manipulate not only people, but the very fabric of time-space itself.  All we have to do is follow Douglas Adams' advice, and Don't Panic!

The ninnies that imagine themselves in charge of everything have built themselves extensive underground caves to hide in, because the first rule of using fear to control is that the user must also be very afraid of losing control.

What will happen, most likely, is that we will realize in a couple of hundred years that H. G. Wells was right after all.  The PTB will retreat to their caves like good little troglodytes and try to run the world as they slowly mutate into Morlock.  Our job, as the Eloi, is to make sure we don't end up as food stock for them, but rather help to seal them in and forget about them while we rebuilt our planet into something much more interesting and sane.

I've worked pretty hard to do just that.  At the Junior Far Side World Headquarters, sitting 1,290 meters above mean sea level, I've installed a water well with a hand-pump, and I'm in the process of getting a solar array up and working.  The house is located just a couple of miles from our 7-hectare farm, which is even higher up, and currently growing teak wood for building materials.  It's isolated, has a cool breeze all the time, and a year-round growing season.  In true Far Side tradition, whichever way the PTB are going, I'm going in the opposite direction.

It's time to give up on the world as it currently exists.  I see little hope for it all.  More often than not, I have found Mark Twain's advice to always go against the common wisdom to be most beneficial.  One spends a lot of time being ridiculed, but the part I hate is that by the time I can say, "I told you so," everyone already thinks it was all their idea in the first place.  By that point, I'm already going the opposite direction again, anyway.

No, I'm not a rabid contrarian like the guy in Little Big Man.  I don't wash with dirt and dry off with water and ride horses backwards.  But if I see a mass of people rushing to one side of the boat, I figure it's prudent to go to the other side.  At least the waters will be less crowded with panicked people when we all end up in the drink.

What it all boils down to is this...as you celebrate independence day, think about all the ways you are dependent and try to figure out a way to reverse that problem.  Seize your heritage and become a subversive in any of a hundred different and quiet ways.  Become passive-aggressive.  Appear to appease the glory-eaters, while chipping away at their control structure a little at a time.

You don't have to go head-to-head and fight an open war.  The best way to fight an overpowering enemy is the classic hit-and-run.

For instance, install a solar water heater and take your old gas or electric tank off the grid.  If you have a smart meter on your house, put a lead box around it so it can't communicate with the grid.  Get an FTA satellite system and cancel your cable subscription.  Join with your neighbors and buy a cow every couple of months, have it butchered and share the meat.  Turn every open patch of ground around your house into a food-generating piece of dirt.  Grow veggies and medicinal herbs.  Buy, sell and trade for everything you can using co-ops and grey markets.  Don't buy anything new.  Watch the classified ads for things you want and only pay cash.  Keep your bank account with a minimal amount of money in it.  If you get paid by check, cash it.  If you have direct deposit, withdrawn the whole amount every payday.  Buy a safe and keep your money at home.  Close your safe deposit boxes and put your import documents in the safe, as well.  Get a passport and let all your other ID expire (passport numbers change every 10 years and you can use them in any country).

See?  No violence.  No big show of subversion.  Just a thousand little ways to extract yourself from their game.  If five million people figured out a way to keep $1 out of the hands of the system each month, look how much fun that could be.

For independence day, declare yourself independent.  Fight back without throwing a single punch or even an angry word.  You'd be amazed at how powerful you feel even doing these little things to slap the supposed owners of all they survey.  You'll notice too that these little suggestions don't take a lot of effort, and they can fill time that would otherwise be given over to TeeVee indoctrination.  Heck, the kids can even get in on the action, and the experience will teach them some valuable skills, as well as the importance of self-sufficiency.

And none of it is illegal...yet.

This revolution stuff can be so much fun!  Happy independence day!

Liar, Liar Nukes' On Fire

Let’s play a game.  Why not?  The whole world seems to be doing it, why can’t we?
Let’s try to cobble up a scenario that can explain the utter failure of multiple redundant safety systems at Fukushima.  We’re talking about not just one or two, but three and four back-ups, not to mention the complete Keystone Kops response on the part of emergency resonse teams.

How is it that one of the (former) largest economies, and arguably one of the most advanced, have come to this point?  It’s too easy to blame GE, or the US, or just plain old bungling.  There’s something much larger at work here.

Suppose, for a moment, that the emergency response teams were not informed about everything they would be facing at Fukushima?  Suppose they walked in to fight a standard battle against run-away reactors, but instead they found a weapons plant out of control?  Suppose they were not remotely prepared for what they are currently facing?  And what would be the signs that would tip us off that this was the case?

To begin with, if this were a standard response to a plant gone amok, there are dozens of protocols and back-up systems in place to adequately take care of the situation.  Sure, there could well have been some radioactive steam released.  Hell, it happens all the time in the States.  They just never tell you about it.
In standard uranium-graphite cores, even in full operation, the chances of a run-away reaction.  In the case of failure of the cooling system, a back-up system kicks in.  If that fails, then the graphite rods are automatically inserted into the core.  It’s a hydraulic, dead-man operation.  It doesn’t require operators or power.

OK, so 60 years ago, Japan has been nuked twice and has surrendered unconditionally.  As part of the deal, they can't keep a standing army, though they can have a small navy and a civilian space program.  They sign a defense treaty with the US, so that if they need a little bombing here and there, the Yanks will come running.

As time goes by, the Japanese decide they want to diversify their power needs.  After all, they have next to no oil and have to import everything.  Meanwhile, the US is playing around in Korea and has their eyes on Vietnam and China, too.  So hey!  Why not kill two birds with one stone?  Give the Japanese some cut-rate GE nuke plants and help them establish a covert nuclear bomb program.  Just hedging bets here.  Six big reactors ought to cover it.  And the occasional minimum-yield bomb could easily be covered as an earthquake.  Who'd look twice?

Oh, and while you boys are at it, you think you could slice off a little of that plutonium so that us Yanks can have a supply that can't be traced to us?  You guys are real troupers!

Well, everything's fine and good.  The US appears to be sticking with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (after all, the US only has one factory, in Texas no less), no one knows about the Japanese program, and the US has a supply of boomers near at hand, just in case N. Korea or China get uppity.

Yoichi Shumatsu has a damn fine analysis along these lines over here.

Everything is peachy keen until March 11, 2011.  Then...what's this?  A 9.0 just off the coast of our cozy little nuke factory, and darned if that isn't a massive tsunami heading for our toys!

Then everything goes to hell.  The safeguards that protect the generators don't do squat for the bomb factory. Not only that, it's chock full of plutonium, which is a lot hotter than uranium, and a lot more toxic, to boot.  The first response is geared towards the "sunshine" part of the project, and it's woefully unprepared for what they find.

While they're busy scrambling around trying to put out fires, the plutonium is getting really hot, but no one suspects it's there.  The Japanese can't admit it, because well, they've been lying about for 50 years, and because the White House is putting a lot of thumbs on them.

After all, it just wouldn't do if we've been threatening to blow up Iran for 10 years because they want nuke power, too, and here we've been letting the Japanese get away with a secret program, and HELPING them with it, for decades.  That would kind of kill the whole program that they've been building up all this time.  It's the centerpiece for all of the US's mucking around in the Middle East, not to mention Israel sitting off in a corner whispering, "Git 'em, git 'em!"

So now we've got a world-class melt-down on our hands.  The US and Japanese can't admit that it was a bomb factory for a thousand different reasons.  Everyone is surprised at how hard it is to stop the plants from blowing up.  Plutonium and dozens of other goodies are scattering to the Four Winds, literally.  Radiation is already showing up throughout the entire northern hemisphere.

And about all they can do is raise the limits on what's considered safe radiation in our food and drink.  I don't mean just raise them a little bit, I mean 10,000x to 100,000x the former limits.  Yes, you read those zeros correctly.  The EPA has already published the new limits in the Federal Register, which is all they are required to to before they start enforcing them, since Americans are too placated on Final Four and Xanax to notice or care.

There, there, sheeple.  Go back to sleeeeeeeep.

Of course, this is all speculative, but the arguements from people a lot smarter than me make a lot of sense.  They also fit the available facts with more precision than anything the MSM and the PTW are saying.

I mean, even I know better than to cover plutonium rods with top soil, fer cryin' out LOUD!

Now they have two choices:
1) Tell the truth (hahahaha hohoho hehehe!) and risk blowing their little schemes that they've spent centuries building up, or -
2) Poison the world with plutonium dust and play the whole thing off like it's nothing and rework the Plan a little to take it all into acount.

Hmmmm...which do you think they are choosing?

What can you do?

Buy all the freakin' silver you can get your hands on...NOW!!!  Spend the change (or use your Liberty Dollars - *grin*) to buy pre-;ackaged food, Berkey water filters, respirators (N-100 rating), and lots of organic heirloom seeds, and ride it out.  It won't take much longer to crash JPMorgan, and the whole House of Cards will come tumbling down.

Then we can get rid of those lying bastards and get back to human-centered life, like it should be.

ORDO AB CHAO works both ways, baby!

19.1.11

Like A Drowned Rat

If you haven't been keeping score at home, then you may not have noticed a little fact now making its way onto the global RADAR screen: the Flood, Part II.

It's been showing up in places like Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South Africa, Brazil, and other places. In the northern hemisphere, it's been showing up in massive, repeated blizzards across the US, Europe and China.

If you're not sure how blizzards figure into floods, then wait another couple of months when it all starts to melt.

While flooding is not all that unusual (although so much happening in such diverse and unusual places is), they come at a time when the PTB are flexing their muscles and running up food prices. The floods are hitting, selectively I might add, food producing regions for large populations. Combined with the efforts of such humanitarian organizations as Monsanto, whose efforts to own the world's food are dong quite well, and you have a recipe for disadter.

Word out of British Columbia, Canada, is that people using grow lights to keep indoor gardens are being hit, as well, ostensiblly because they MIGHT be growing marijuana. How did the Nazis find out? Why, checking power usage, of course!

There is a massive global effort to starve us all into submission. Too many dots line up behind the MIHOP column: RADAR rings in Queensland, jet stream movements, Agenda 21 and home gardening control, smart electric grids, Monsanto.

Alone, those dots mean little, but piled up they sure appear to give one the impression that there is an effort to limit our calories.

Many people still poo-poo weather control and modification, though a quick search on the internet will turn up dozens of stories in the past year. China promises no rain for Olympics. Moscow holds back rain for celebrations. Australia cloud-seeding to end drought.

These simple technologies, already a century old (they used to shoot rockets with sodium chloride into the clouds to make rain in the 1800s), combined with newer ELF technologies (HAARP, et al.) that can steer storms and direct the jet stream, add up to either a war of weather, or a concerted effort to starve humanity into submission.

There are two things that humans must absolutely have to survive: food and water. Globe-encrusting corporations have already despoiled the fresh water of the Earth with polutants and legal plays. Now it's time to sew up the food supply, and heck, if the bastards can get carbon-trading implemented, then they'll own the air, as well. I mean, that's earth, wind, water, and fire right there, the four primordeal elements.

The royals are pissed. Over the past 300 to 400 years, they have been booted out as sovereigns and absolute rulers, in favor of democracy and constitutional republics. Do you think that an in-bred group of people who used to literally own the Earth is just going to sit around after thoudands of years in power, as watch as people forget about them?

Hell no!

They've banded together to form multi-national corporations that are supra-legal entities without allegiance to anyone or anything but themselves. The the corporations have slowly taken over governments and bought up our rights, until now we almost owe our very existance to them.

When the matrix is complete, the trap will spring shut and humans will once again be subjects to royals, royals who claim divene right and powers to enslave and control all human activity for their own pleasure.

Behind all of this political and legal shenanigans are groups and individuals who literally claim decendency from the 'gods!' The European royals actually say that their blood-lines come directly from Jesus Christ (the Holy Grail/Sang Real). The Freemasons claim decendency from Osiris. The list goes on, but these folks who trace their power and rights back to divine roots are certainly going to be motivated to ensure their absolute right to use that power.

Even Luciferians and Satanists (not the same thing) claim a form of divine right to own the Earth and everything in it.

Thus, we have motive and occasion. All that remains is means.

The development of exotic technologies, such as scalar physics, hyperdimensional physics and quantum machanics would certainly give the groups who possess them almost god-like powers. The Nazis were developing such radical and mystical technologies. It is ignorant and dangerous to assume that those efforts stopped when the Nazis were 'defeated.' In fact, it's been 60 years, more than long enough to perfect many exotic forms of physical manipulation, based only on looking at the speed with which 'open' technologies have advanced.

So, we have a group of people claiming divine lineage and right to rule the Earth, with the money and legal ability, through the use of multi-national corporations, to develop exotic technologies that control such things as weather.

Do you honestly think that you would be a benign dictator if you possessed that kind of power and had delusions of god-hood?

Though we may lack the smoking gun, as of yet, there is certainly a preponderance of circumstantial evidence to suggest the above is, in fact, the case. I've only glossed what evidence is out there and I'm too damn lazy to link up all the thoudands of well-thought and -written material available. Use some of the information here to start a search if you don't believe me, but be prepared to watch many hours of your time vanish as you get deeper into the 'rabbit hole.' I've been researching this material for decades, and I'm only just beginning to make sense of a good bit of it.

The bottom line of this article, though, is that your belly is under attack, and more importantly, that of your family. Even if you don't care to know all the 'whys' and 'what-fors,' it should be ovcious to the casual observer that food will be outrageously expensive and in short supply in the near future. We would all do well to start up a 'scratch' garden, at the very least.

Storing up good quality natual supplements, such as those available here, a large supply of dried beans (sprouts, fiber, protein...and fast!), and canned meats and vegetables will serve you well. You might also want to investigate food preservation using plain old salt, which is a damn sight healthier than so many chemicals found in processed foods. Don't depend on refrigeration!

A minimum three-month supply of stores is recommended, since it will take about that long to get a garden and sprout farm up and running, if you get caught without you garden in place. However, if you don't have the seeds before-hand, no amount of planning will save you.

Right here in Indonesia, food prices are already soaring for things like rice, which no Indo can go through an entire day without. Soy beans, chilis (great source of Vitamin C) and other staples are climbing precipitously. Gasoline prices are jumping, with electricity right behind them. The only solutions government can offer involve taxes, which take yet more money out of our pockets.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, or in this case, the gardener is king in the land of the hungry.

Figuring out how to grow your food and protect it is another problem, but one you will have to figure out. Skylights, indoor window boxes and the like are a good start, but will it be enough?

And one other thing follows from this line of reasoning that most commentators don't mention: if there is a global famine, and people are dying right and left, and you have prepared and have food set aside, are you mentally and spiritually prepared to watch others die while you eat? I mean, literally watch them die in the street in front of your house as you wipe a bit of gravy off your chin.

That's one of those questions no one asks, but which would be a major issue should worse come to worst.

Preparation is as much what you do to store up, and what you do to steel your mind and your soul.

When will all this start happening?

The Zen answer is this: seeing begins with opening your eyes.
