To get disclosure out of the way, I've been a Star Trek fan since the original show was in first run back in the 60s. I'm not a Trekkie or Trekker, though. I have watched all the movies a dozen times, I can practically quote every episode of the original series, I dutifully watched the animated series, and stuck with the Next Gen through the rough early years to actually get some good Trek again.
However, I've never read a Trek novel or been to a convention, nor have I ever seen more than a couple of episodes of Deep Space 9 and Voyager, though I must admit that by muting the theme song, I found Enterprise quite entertaining.
With that list of qualifications, I will offer my two-cents' worth on the new Star Trek Discovery series recently launched by CBS as a means to drag hard-core followers into its online pay service. I watched the first two episodes - ostensibly the pilot/teaser for the rest of the series, online for free on YouTube. I hope CBS understands that their signals don't reach Indonesia...yet.
First impression? Why the hell is everything these days dark and moody? What the hell ever happened to good lighting? And while I'm on a rant, every damn editor in Hollywood needs to be fired immediately. I can't see anything, and what I can see is cut so fast as to not let me enjoy the settings that have some light on them. And who is the drunkard that shot this thing? Has he/she/it never learned to balance and level a camera on the tripod? Hint, there is a knob under the head and a spirit level on top. Loosen the damn knob and adjust until the bubble is in the center circle.
For cryin' out loud, what are they teaching in film schools these days?
Now that I have that out of my system, I can rant about everything else. Oh, and if you can here for lots of poetry and praise, you might as well leave now. Ain't gonna happen. And one more thing, I don't give a flying leap at a rolling donut about spoilers. There may or may not be some here. That's your problem. Read with your eyes closed so you don't see any.
I am sick to death of Political Correctness being shoved down my throat from every angle. With American "entertainment", it was the Jews for decades, now it's every subclass of human being one can imagine, and not a few that one couldn't imagine before it was stuffed in one's gullet.
Star Trek Discovery (pilot) follows the story of one Michael Burnham, who appears to be half black human and half white Vulcan, and is the step-whatever of Sarek (if you don't know who Sarek is, go look it up). He/she has a human name and ears, but a distinctly Vulcan attitude and background. He/she is also fairly androgenous, except in scenes where he/she takes off his/her clothes, and then suddenly he/she is a she.
We begin on the bridge of the USS Shenzhou, staffed by vaguely Asian crew (even the aliens) as a concession to the Chinese masters of Hollywood, so the vast markets there can be tapped and wallets emptied. The ship encounters the Klingons for the first time in 100 years, and of course, things get nasty pretty fast, as the title of Part 2 says, "The Battle of the Binary Stars." I'll get to the Klingons in a moment.
At this point, I will admit that I like the set designs, costumes and effects - what little of them I can see without lighting. The designs exist somewhere between the functional blues and polished blacks of Enterprise, and the pastel beige of the original series. I would have enjoyed this aspect of the show much more if they had hired a lighting director and a DP that knew how to balance and level a camera, not to mention an editor that would linger on the wide shots for just a second or two to establish the settings.
Technically, the show looks great. I very much enjoyed that part, but that is obviously not a foundation for a good story. That requires writing that is fun and engaging, not hell-bound determined to hammer the audience over their heads with Progressive propaganda.
This brings us to the Klingons, and what the hell happened here?
The central figure among the Klingons is a character apparently called T'Kuvma, though it's hard to tell because the writing and editing are so damned frenetic, we never get a clear introduction to any of the characters. Let me reiterate that this show looks as if it was edited by a jonesing cocaine addict.
The Klingons have been completely redesigned and apparently have not discovered the Universal Translator yet, since they all speak Klingon throughout the entire show - except for a couple of lines - as if their mouths are full of marbles, or in this case, dental appliances. Furthermore, the subtitles flash by so fast that I had to pause playback several hundred times to get a significant part of the story from the text.
And why are the Klingons the only aliens in the whole damn show that don't speak English? Even the Vulcans speak English to each other when no one else is around (Michael and Sarek in the jail cell), as do the training computers on Vulcan.
T'Kuvma (a Vulcan name using old series conventions) is an obviously black Klingon, unlike the submission pale blue ones, who thumps his Klingon bible and has a rather nasty temper. He is seeking to unite his people under theocratic dictatorship using a ship lined on the outside with dead Klingon bodies. This "sarcophagus" ship is apparently from a Star Trek novel some years ago and has never made an appearance until now, so it's purpose is as much your guess as mine.
Despite the ham-fisted effort to shove Progressive propaganda down my throat, the lack of lighting, unlevel camera work, and an obvious coffee addict editing, I really liked the little bit of CGI work I could focus on. The battle scene in the second half of the show was quite good, even though I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on.
I particularly enjoyed the fact that the CGI folks finally realized that space is three-dimentional. Ships approach each other in all directions and orientations, which is I believe the first time I have seen this. The closest thing to this instance was in the Wrath of Khan, with the original cast, where Nicholas Meyer had the ships coming at each other from all directions. Kudos to whoever decided that space is much more interesting than sea level.
That I spent a lot of time noticing the technical aspects of the show should tell the reader a lot. I liked the costumes. The creature makeup was quite good and much more interesting than the old Star Trek stand-by of glue-on prostetics. The sets were spacious and detailed, and quite interesting to look at, when I could see any detail. I also liked that starlight came blazing through the windows and lit the interiors, something picked up from the J. J. Abrams movies, although whoever put lens flairs in this show should be thoroughly beaten, then fired.
The score was unremarkable and the theme sounds like the preamble to a complete piece of music. It is also completely unhummable and I couldn't whistle a single bar if my life depended on it. The opening titles reminded me of Six Feet Under or the film Hollow Man, but it was interesting from breaking the old convention of showing the ship blasting through the screen every two seconds.
In the end, there are some hopeful elements that make me think there might be some redeeming value to the show going forward, but I'm not holding my breath.
A hallmark of Star Trek is the relentlessly positive Humanism that makes the universe it presents seem exciting and desirable. It appears that the new take on the series is about to make a hard Left turn into relentless Progressivism, with lots of darkness and moral ambiguity. If that's the case, then all is lost. There is an endless pile of such shows out there that make me feel worse about the human condition. The attractive aspect of Star Trek is that it left the darkness behind and didn't dwell on differences, but made each human able to advance one's self through mental exercise and physical achievements, not because they were members of annointed victim group du jour.
Technically, the show is fun and interesting. Let's hope that it grows out of this whiny Progressive phase into something more like Star Trek. I'll stick around for another episode or two to give it a chance, because I'm an optimist, but I will bail quickly if I don't get what I want from it.
And as a side note, how come we have to keep beating the same time period to death? Why can't someone make a Star Trek set 100 or 200 years in the future? Let's do some real exploration and take ideas and discoveries of the past 50 years into account? I don't give a flip about canon and faithfulness to timelines, but the original series jumped way out into the future. Do it again!
And here's a show idea, and if I see it on-screen, I better see a story credit for me:
According to the laws of physics, phasers and photon torpedoes don't just stop in space, they continue forever until they hit something. So what happens to all those shots that miss? Why not have a stray photon torpedo hit a planet hundreds of light years away, and the creatures trace it back to it's origins and come looking for revenge?
Just a thought.

White Is Black, Left Is Right
UPDATE: I no sooner get my rant posted than Lew Rockwell pops up with nearly the same argument, though with a more serious tone.
I have to say it has been very entertaining watching the antics of the American GeezerMedia for the past year. They are in complete meltdown and don't understand why no one is listening. Even Hollywood is feeling the pinch as folks just plain get tired of all the mind-control crap being pumped at them.
I predicted years ago, somewhere around the time I started this blog, that this would happen. Eventually, the lock-step group-think would lose its grasp on society and the swing back to the other side would begin in earnest.
The socialist goose-stepping reached a peak under Obama. A kind of semi-religious hush fell over the populace, where no one could criticize the first black president. The Democrats tried desperately to keep the magic going with the first female president (I purposely won't use "woman" to describe Hillary Clinton), but it failed miserably. Now all the Puppet Masters and their mind-controlled clowns are panicked as their perceived perch atop the world's Mind is lost.
The most interesting part of this whole charade is the intense battle to define Fascism as a right-wing phenomenon, and the desperate attempt to define the common terms used in everyday life, so that the Puppet Masters can control how and what people think.
The right wing are called "alt" and "extreme," while the left wing are "fighting" and "reacting." No media outlet will mention that the right-wingers have all taken permits for their marches, while the left-wingers show up uninvited and start all the fights. Wild attempts are underway to silence anyone that doesn't sync with the Proscribed Narrative. Corporations, NGOs and all sorts of quasi-official "authorities" have been mobilized to plug the drain.
What no one, and I mean NO ONE is saying is that Fascism is defined by the marriage of corporate and governmental power. That is its raison d'etre.. That is what differentiates it from other forms of "authority." It is not a left-right paradigm, it is up-down, which doesn't fit in the carefully crafted narrative we are all supposed to consume and spew back.
The other thing that is being VERY CAREFULLY hidden is the fact that the term "Nazi" is short for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. If you don't read German, that's the National SOCIALIST Workers' Party. It's a left-wing movement. Damn fools think most people won't look it up on Giggle or are completely ignorant of history. Well...I guess they're right in that regard.
As they pull down statues right and left, they are also banking (used advisedly) on the fact that no one knows the Civil War was started by Democrats, that racist Dredd Scott laws were instituted by Democrats, and that Democrats have caused just about every major collapse of civilization in the past 2,500 years, starting with the Greeks.
Furthermore, NO ONE will mention that the entire premise of Democracy rests on an educated and erudite populace, which judging by the campuses in the US don't exist anymore, if ever.
In every single instance in current events, it is the left-wingnuts who are censoring, destroying and injuring. It is the left-wingnuts who fling urine and feces at peaceful protesters. It is the left-wingnuts who ambush police, burn down businesses and demand the silencing of even the slightest opposition. And it is the left-wingnuts who control the GeezerMedia narrative and make it positively unpalatable.
Some may point to the Neo-Cons, but they are left-wingnuts in disguise. There is no difference philosophically between the transition from LBJ to Nixon, than from Obama to Trump, except that there are exactly ZERO conservatives in the US Federal gummint. There are only Democrats, and Democrats who called themselves Republicans to get elected, with the possible (though tentative) exception of Rand Paul.
The public narrative is oh-so-careful not to point out that Nazis were left-wingnuts and that all this collusion between corporations and government is the very definition of Fascism. In a real and organic system of government, it is supposed to protect people from the corporations and the use of financial power to seduce and coerce the masses.
It is an absolutely bizarre spectacle going on the US these days. It is the insane leading the deluded. It is normal people being overrun by nitwits whose idealism comes from a bottle of Xanax. And in the end, puerhaps that's the root of it.
Perhaps Big Pharma has so doped the populace that people are incapable of reacting to stupidity, or conversely, folks too drugged to comprehend reality. Perhaps all 300 million Americans are in a pharmaceutical cloud, incapable of clear thinking on anyone's part. Nothing else adequately explains the sheer disconnect from anything sane.
It is a medical Matrix

What terrible, evil white men they were.
The American Civil War was not about slavery. That issue was decided a long time before and the practice was being phased out even at the time of the war. The Civil War was about the right of people to do away with government when it no longer served the people - an idea set out in the Declaration of Independence written by that nasty, filthy, horrid white man, Thomas Jefferson.
In fact, Abraham Lincoln was a terrible racist. He despised black people and didn't want them in his pearly-white nation. If you don't believe me, listen to his own words on the topic. His plan was to ship all Africans back to Africa, and the nation of Liberia in Northwest Africa exists today because of Lincoln's efforts. Furthermore, slavery still existed in the northern States long after the slaves were freed by fiat in the Confederacy.
The delicious irony here is that the violent, radical Progressives in the United States worship the evil, nasty white man Lincoln, while a man like Donald Trump, who has said nothing racist that I can find in the public record, is reviled and the embodiment of darkest evil.
If I have a point, which admittedly is rare in these rants, it is that of all the races on Earth and throughout time, it is the white race which established the philosophical foundation of human rights, and it is the Progressive Left that seems to selectively chose their facts in support of the House of Jell-O they call an argument.
Now, if you've been reading my posts over the past year, you know I am no fan of Donald Trump. I think he's nothing more than a reincarnation of P. T. Barnum. He's a showman and a marketeer [sic]. I firmly believe his mental pool is hardly deep enough to wade in, much less dive. However, I will say that his comments regarding the Charlottesville riots, not the GeezerMedia comments on his comments, are reasonable and likely true. From my perch 10,000 miles away, it looks to me as if there were dirty hands on both sides, and that the "authorities" acted and reacted with a clear agenda of supporting the violence and spinning the outcome against Trump.
Honestly, I don't think Trump sees skin color. To him, all people are green, as in dollars. He does nothing that isn't first calculated to enrich himself and his family. His scale for weighing the value of a human being is the size of their bank account and his ability to empty it into his own. While being prejudiced on economic grounds, I do not believe he is racist.
What I do see in the wake of Charlottesville is a carefully calculated and crafted narrative that was set in place well before the events in that city last weekend. The chorus is too well rehearsed and the words too well polished to be spontaneous. The weeping TeeVee mouthpieces, the feigned shock, the carefully scripted monologues are all far to clean to be honest emotional reactions.
The chorus began its shrill keening before the events had even ceased that night last week. They ignored the facts that "authorities" backed off, the right-wing protesters had permits and the left didn't, and the herding of the right-wingers through a gauntlet of violent anti-speech activists was a set up to encourage a clash.
I do not believe the man who drove his car into the crowd was a right-wingnut. He was a carefully crafted plant, whether knowingly or not, activated specifically to make sensational headlines. And the ANTIFA group has a well-established history of violence across the country wherever conservative groups gather. The fact that ANTIFA is supported by Barack Obama and George Soros is the subject of an entirely seperate argument.
There is no doubt that at least some of the organizers of the right-wingnuts wanted to draw a vocal crowd of anti-protesters to attract media. The protest certainly would not have gotten the attention of the entire hierarchy of Washington and the GeezerMedia without some kind of tension. A peaceful protest draws no flies.
It is clear to me, though, that as soon as the right-wingnuts pulled a permit for their protest, the wheels of dissent sprung into action. Seeing an opportunity, the puppeteers organized an anti-protest, paid the participants and activated the driver drone. The entire event was orchestrated for the sole purpose of damaging Trump, even to the point of sacrificing lives in a black magic ritual to give it extra power.
That the GeezerMedia flat refuses to actually quote Trump, and instead is hell-bent on putting their own narrative on the event in a synchronized symphony of hate is quite enough proof to me that I am right. This kind of thing is precisely why I walked away from a fairly successful career in media. It happens, and has happened many times since the Second World War.
The best rule of thumb to protect ones self from this kind of media mind control is to notice that all the outlets are speaking with one voice. When you see that, you should know immediately that something is up. They all have the same script from on high.
We will likely never know the entire truth behind this, or any other related events, but I guarantee with every ounce of my professional knowledge and instincts that the story you are seeing is completely fabricated. Hell, even the foreign media is harping from the same song book, which is not really surprising since global ownership of media mirrors US ownership. Perhaps Russia Today and Xinhua are a bit more moderate, since they see the obvious control mechanisms at work.
If you side with either the Left or the Right, you are probably not reading this rant. Most of the folks who come here are liberals in the truest and oldest sense of the word. But if you are one who identifies with the manufactured Left-Right spectrum, then take a moment to open your mind just a tad and consider that you may be a victim of highly sophisticated propaganda. If you can do that, then quickly dash over to this link and read Edward Bernays' book Propaganda. Do it quickly before the programming overtakes reason again.
Though I have no truck with Trump, I cannot sit idly and watch this fiasco. I must attempt to reach those who believe the hogwash coming out of their home "entertainment" centers. It is a rare opportunity when the brainwashing is so obvious and open.
Hey, if you really hate white men, then at least don't be fooled by one of the most pernicious men who ever lived: Edward Bernays, a nephew twice over of Sigmund Freud.

Eure Papieren, Bitte!
| Slave Market |
The title is, "Helping Parents Fight for Legal Identity in Indonesia." Just that much of it should clue you in on how much BS you're about to dive into.
First of all, the headline presents the issue as being some problem with registering children 'legally' in Indonesia. We are (not so) subtly led to believe that parents are crying out in unison for the right to plaster their children with legal paperwork because, well gosh, they just don't exist without it.
Then, we start into the deeeeep BS that follows. As is typical with propaganda like this, the article starts with a sob story about a pre-schooler, female just to push the emotional hot buttons, who is playing at a street carnival after having learned her lessons. But, and here comes the ominous Big Bad Wolf, she may not be able to continue her education in the national schools because she doesn't have...GASP!...a birth certificate!
What horse shit.
By the second paragraph, the agenda becomes clear. Unicef, the UN agency assigned to make sure all kids everywhere are up to their eye teeth in 'legal' paperwork and vaccines, tells us that 60% of Indonesia's children are NOT REGISTERED SLAVES! Can you imagine such a thing? What a horribly backward country this is! (I hope you recognize the sarcasm).
A more appropriate title for this article should be, "Parent Outraged Children Can't Received Services Already Paid For With Taxes."
Let's play reporter...I mean REAL reporter, not press release regurgitator. First question: If registering children with birth certificates, etc., is a national issue, why in the hell is the UN all flustered about this? Follow up question: If the parents pay taxes with every single purchase they make, why can't the children receive public education as promised without a bunch of bureaucratic BS? Third question: What's so damned important about having every bloody human being on Earth registered and papered that Unicef has to interfere in the sovereign operations of Indonesia?
Those questions are just for starters. If we aren't thrown out of the press conference after the first one, there's a whole lot more, too. Maybe we should write them all down and pass them around and encourage other 'reporters' to actually do their jobs.
As we read a little further, we notice that the family moved to Jakarta from a small village, where everyone is backwards and doesn't properly paper their children. Notice that we know the girl's name and the mother's name, but the father remains anonymous. Another tell-tale sign that father's are just useless meat that have no responsibility but to work their asses off and hand over the money to care for the state's (as yet unregistered) property.

| Slave Registration |
What's even more classic is the mother says she doesn't have a slave registry and never had a problem getting an education, but NOW everyone has to have their slave papers or, GASP!, they can't get a non-productive fat-ass, useless government job! OMG! What horror!
Now here comes the agenda:
"The Indonesian government has prioritized birth registration to track demographic statistics and ensure accurate planning and implementation of its policies and programs. The right to legal identity is one fundamental precondition to realizing social and economic rights, including subsidized health care, basic education and as a deterrent against child labor abuse and underage marriage."
This paragraph is so fraught with fascist BS that it's hard to know where to start. Of course the government wants to ensure that it's chattel property is registered. How else can they track and trace every soul in the country and make sure they extract every last rupiah of tax from them? Of course, they call it "planning and implementation", but the real meaning is "we want a pound of flesh".
I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that we all have a "right to legal identity". WHAT? Having slave papers is now a right? If it's a right, then how come I have to be forced to take it by the government? What hog wash! But the truth comes out in the next sentence...it's a "fundamental precondition" to receiving other 'rights'.
AH HA!
So rights are only rights if we register and submit to some governing 'authority'. There are no natural rights inherent to every human being as a condition of simply existing. You have NO RIGHTS unless you have LEGAL IDENTITY. Funny how they bury such an important concept way down in the story after yanking your heart strings and burying the truth with pure, unadulterated BS.
The whole thing is predicated on being able to get what you pay for with your taxes: health care, education and protection. I really love the part about 'underage marriage'. After all, we have to preserve the pre-pubescent virgins for the master race. No one else is allowed this privilege. Barf!
As if the foregoing is not enough, we come to the next paragraph, where the fascist BS gets even deeper:
“Children are the future of our nation. How can they go to school if their legal origin is not clear? A birth certificate is also related to a child’s right to inheritance,” says Marni Emmy Mustafa, chief judge of the North Sumatra High Court.
So, let's see here...the future of the nation is dependent on having slaves. OK, I can see that. But the child can't go to school if they don't have a legal identity? Wait a minute, didn't Mom just say she never needed slave papers to go to school? Only now is it required? Why can't the daughter get the same thing? And suppose the child is homeschooled? Suppose someone opens a school based only on payment of tuition and not on slave papers?
And here's the kicker...you can't get your inheritance without slave papers. Ah, so the 'authorities' reserve the right to steal your entire life's work if you don't register your kids. Now we see some real agenda going on here. Health care? So what...use the local witch doctor. School? Who cares? Learn the alphabet and start reading books. Best education there is. The real stick is 'we will confiscate all you've worked for if you don't submit your children to the state'.
Next comes the inevitable laundry list of white people caring for the poor, downtrodden brown people. That's right, AusAID (the queen of England) is fighting in the trenches with those poor, abused brown people to make sure they have the right to become slaves. After all, how else can we get them in the system and brainwash then in school and pump them full of noxious vaccines and make sure we destroy the family cohesion by getting everyone hooked on government handouts? It's the Western Way! All brown people must submit to the way white folks do things or they can't get the prizes.
“Through this program, AusAID is helping poor women register the birth of their children, which puts them on the path to a better life."
Only poor women? What happened to the dads here? Don't they get a say in all this?
Changes in the regulations were brought to the forefront this week at a forum organized by Pekka, the woman-led households empowerment program, and AusAID in Jakarta. Officials from district and religious courts and civil registry offices from 18 different provinces discussed ways to work together to provide improved services and learn from the positive work being done.
More anti-male horse shit led by white people who are themselves slaves to the crown of England. Slaves making more slaves. And dads are completely out in the cold. Gee, the government can offer so many things your useless, hard-working male head-of-household can't buy for you. Leave him and follow us.
The remainder of this happy load of hog wash just makes me angrier and angrier with every line. It goes on the denigrate religious institutions that are the traditional backbone of families and social support. It never once mentions fathers, except as ancillary characters whose sole job was to supply semen. After that, they are nameless and useless and only get in the way of a good agenda of papering the planet with slave identities.
Not once in the whole article does the 'reporter' question the agenda or the reasoning behind all this. The way this sort of propaganda works is that, in this case, AusAID offered a pre-written story with blanks to be filled in by the local 'reporter' with whatever sob story they can find. If they can't find one, the article package is offered with some 'suggested' story lines that fit the overall agenda. The laundry list of 'suggestions' in packages like these are so leading as to prevent any possibility of the local 'reporter' finding the 'wrong' story. The local blank-filler is told what kind of story fits and how they can go about finding the 'right' story.
If we go back to the headline, it says "Parents", yet in the whole story we only talk to ONE parent, if she really exists. The father is only mentioned because he is a good worker bee out there installing the equipment to allow even MORE fascist propaganda into people's homes. We never even know his name or what his opinion is about all this happy horse shit.
This article, and all the crap like it, pisses me off for two specific reasons: 1) it is such blatant propaganda with such a thinly veiled agenda, and 2) the 'educational system' is so bad that the 'reporter' and the readers are unable to see what a load of swill is being shoved down their throats.
Frankly, folks are far better off NOT registering their children and NOT accessing the so-called 'education' offered by the state. All the schools are these days are institutions operated by corporations and NGOs to turn out good little worker bees who install satellite dishes and fret about registering their children. Obviously, they avoid at all costs teaching people to reason, at least far enough to recognize the fascist crap being placed before them as 'information' and 'issues'.

In the coming week, we will be posting interviews with Joseph P. Farrell, Scott D. deHart and Santos Bonacci. Between them, the listeners will get a pretty good idea of how all this works and who, ultimately, is behind it. We hope you'll tune in and have your eyes opened in a shocking and alarming way. It's very important that we all start looking at this horse shit critically and start making informed choices.
This sort of one-size-fits-all mentality of state and corporate actors shows how little they care about human beings or our lives. All they care about are cranking out automatons to run the tools of industry, and they are replacing us as fast as they can with robots and computers. If they think so little of us now, imagine how we will be treated when they have successfully replaced us with machines?
Then we'll really be in the way.

Outsourcing Your Security
When someone says "smart home monitoring" to me, I immediately think of a very intelligent person watching out for their own stuff with a big gun. But, I suppose other people have other ideas. For instance, watch this video that I picked up off of Joseph Farrell's website:
Disturbing, I know. Gave me the willies. And Joseph does a good job of analyzing the implications of such a technology, but I want to look at the audio/visual programming and psychological underpinning of this video.
The first thing that struck me was the red background. Red, of course, has cultural connotations of 'danger' and 'fear'. They could just have as easily chosen blue, which would have implied comfort and relaxation. So you are immediately hit with a fear trigger from the first frame. Granted, you may not have been conscious of this reaction, but that's the whole point. Propaganda works best when it slides underneath our filters and conscious reactions.
The next thing that hit me was the music. It sounds like the old 'Peanuts' theme music. It's bright and bouncy and just slightly industrial implying that everyone in the video is busy and productive. Obviously, the service being sold is for people who are too busy to look after their own affairs In fact, they are so busy they don't have time to worry about their kids. They need their house to do it for them.
The next image that hits you is the generic house. It's a colonial cottage style that is obviously middle class suburban America. Nowhere else on Earth looks like that. So we know the target audience here: busy white middle class American breeders who are so busy trying to keep their heads above water financially that they need their house to do all the work for them. How do we know they are white? Look closely at all the human figures and ask yourself what race they are. Plenty of clues.
And that brings us to the next weird thing about this video. There are no people, only shadows. There's no individuation or identity, just silhouettes going through the motions of life. In other words, the people who would use this system have no individuality. They are just demographic cogs in a larger machine, unwilling or unable to stand out from the masses. The people in this video have no substance. Even the narrator's voice is a kind of bland all-American accent with a 30-something timbre to it.
The first image that really creeped me out was the one that goes with the line, "...is supported by two networks simultaneously." The house is shown with rays coming out of the top of it, one set white, the other black. What are they telling us here? That one network is good and in the open, while the other is covert? Why don't the rays go in the same direction, implying both being controlled by the same party? This tells me that one of the networks is being monitored by someone else, and not necessarily for good purposes.
The next line really irritates me: "...giving you absolute peace of mind when it comes to keeping your home protected." What? No lingering doubts whatsoever? There is no possible way to bypass this system? There are no variables that can cause failure, such as blackouts, sunspots, cutting cables, etc.? Just look up the word 'absolute' in the dictionary.
And why just my home? Look at the video. The only things in there that are distiguishable and have any character and detail at all are the home and the technology. The people and stuff in the home are just consequential, and all of it is subservient to the bells and whistles in a box. And who are these 'trained security personnel'? TSA?
Then there's that strange shot of the family running out the door with all their gear on their backs while a shadowy character with something on his head that looks like a ski mask and holding a pair of bolt cutters is kneeling next to a utility box of some kind. Since no action is taken to stop this character, we can only assume that it is a government 'authority' or 'trained security personnel'.
And while all of this is going on, we see the 'central monitoring center' with a couple of guys standing around a monitor looking as if they are watching your daughter in the shower. Hmmm...maybe it IS TSA, then. Or Catholic priests.
At any rate, there is never any sign that the 'central monitoring center' takes any action, such as call the police or send a patrol around. They just monitor the situation. Great. A lot of help that is. I could have done the same things with my Smith & Wesson .357 double action revolver.
Now we are told that we can monitor our home in real time from our computer, smartphone or the touch-pad. To me, that says that anyone can hack into my home because anything sending out that much information on that many channels is far too easy to cut into. The nerdy kid across the street could be having the time of his life turning your home on and off while you're away.
I feel so secure now.
Now let's look at all the emotional hot buttons this video is pushing in order to make you feel afraid.
First, of course, is the classic 'children' ruse. Threaten the children and people will do almost anything to protect them. It's the old circle-the-wagons effect. This has been used with great effect in the last 50 years or so, with things like Amber alerts and little Adam Walsh (remember him?). This is a really easy button to push.
Next, they threaten your home. Well, naturally that'll get your hackles up and make you want to do anything to protect your stuff. After you've spent yourself into a hole to buy the house and fill it with gee-gaws, you certainly are afraid to lose it all, especially since you won't finish paying for it all until you are 90 or so.
The video then goes on to create a whole new fear for you: carbon monoxide. Now, how many people do you know sit around wringing their hands over carbon monoxide levels in their houses? I can't think of one in 51 years of experience. But gosh, your home could be full of the stuff. And if one odorless, invisible gas is filling your home, how many others? And does the system monitor those, as well? That one line could turn anyone into a full-fledged worry-wart.
But not to worry. All these wires, networks, touch-pads, smartphones, computer terminals, 'trained security personnel', and 'monitoring centers' are there to give you 'peace of mind', 'security' and 'safety'.
Frankly, everything about it scares the shit out of me.
The video is so well done that you even think that all this will save you money, too! That's right, paying thousands of dollars to amass all the crap you need to make this system work for you will save you a few pennies a month on your electric bill. WOW! What a deal! No word if it will stop the leaky faucet or the running toilet, though. That would save me some extra pennies on the water bill, too. And how about gas leaks? Didn't mention gas leaks, did they?
Another joke? When the kid comes home, the home sends an alert to the woman's (not the man's) phone to say, "The front door was opened at 4:01 PM." We are supposed to assume that the woman automatically knows this is her kid? Or maybe the kid is wearing a ID chip that the rest of the text message gives the kid's identity heart rate, adrenaline levels, and urine output for the day.
There are so many things wrong with this video, none being the quality of the production or the propaganda being transmitted. It is a high-quality piece and carefully crafted to scare you into submission. And every bit of it was done with full awareness of what they are trying to achieve and the messages being sent. How do I know that?
Well, a committee was formed by the client. They determined what they wanted to say and how they wanted to say it. They put the package out to bid and found a production company that 'got it' and presented a proposal that said as much. All of this was vetted by executive managment at key milestones along the way, and the final product was approved by marketing, sales, executives, and legal. Every image, word and idea was thoroughly parsed to say exactly what the company wanted you to see, hear and feel.
So everything I've just explored, plus what Joseph Farrell stated, were all clearly and deliberately intended by both the client (the company) and the production house that created it.
Now doesn't that make you feel more secure?
Disturbing, I know. Gave me the willies. And Joseph does a good job of analyzing the implications of such a technology, but I want to look at the audio/visual programming and psychological underpinning of this video.

Sacrificing Mercury
In Roman mythology, there was a character named Mercury who was the son of Jupiter and the messenger of Olympus, as well as the god of commerce and trade. In fact, the name Mercury is related to the Latin words mercari (I trade) and merces (he receives wages). Mercury is commonly represented as a young man with a snappy little hat with wings on it. His visage can be found on old American sliver dimes, among other coins, or the logo of FTD florists.
Mercury's primary function was to bring messages from Olympus down to us mere mortals. In his function as a god, he embodies the concept of information being critical to commerce and trade.
With that being said, we jump to today's headlines. Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame is the modern archtype of Mercury: the soft-looking young man bringing messages from on high, and for that he is being sacrificed, along with commerce and trade, on the altar of the New World Order (Latin- Novus Ordo Seclorum, see back of $1 note). By killing the messenger, THEY will be able to kill trade and control the receipt of wages.
Don't you just love this symbolic stuff?
You see, Assange was one of these elite hacker types in his teen years. The problem is he got caught and was threatened with a life of prison and being banned from touching computers. As an alternative, he could get on the CIA payroll and wait to be activated. In the meantime, he could feed his personal foibles with a steady stream of cash, which further served his masters, as they could build a dossier of blackmail material to ensure Assange's submission.
Assange has been handed a pile of communique's to dispatch to the world so that Jupiter can use the fall-out to achieve some basic goals in the realm of control. Dutifully, Assange carried the message to us and, on cue, the US and UN have introduced piles of new laws and regulations to control information and commerce.
I kinda miss the old days. Back then, the denizens of Olympus were much more subtle. One had to really study a situation, look closely at all the little details, decoding all the hidden symbols. Ever since 9/11, though, they've gotten lazy. Everything is just blatant. The symbols are right out there in your face. Even someone with a modicrum of knowledge about symbology, numerology and mythology.
For instance, NASA's manipulation of Sacred Geometry, hyperdimensional physics and symbols took Richard Hoagland years to decipher. It involved complex math, looking at the positions of stars over certain significant locations on multiple planets and moons, and carefully linking together names and symbols.
The BP oil disaster was so obvious. It happened on April 19th, which is the occult day of sacrifice by fire. It was the same date as Hitler's birthday, the Waco massacre, Oklahoma City bombing, the Columbine massacre, and dozens of other significant events throughout history.
Back to Assange, he is being set up as a hero of the freedom-loving people of the world. He was arrested and jailed on trumped up charges of having concentual sex without a condom by a woman with deep ties to the CIA (his co-worker in other words). The information he had given us was meaningless gossip that was cut and paste from worldwide media sources, so no real information. His release on WikiLeaks, that is funded by George Soros, plus the carefully orchestrated frame-up, is forcing everyone to see him as a hero. Ultimately, the 'leaks' will be used as an excuse to shut down the internet, and then Assange will be sacrificed publically to demoralize freedom-lovers.
It's all a psy-op.
You see, the corporate media is under direct and life-threatening attack by the alternative, democratic reporting with people writing blogs, doing real investigations and research, using phone-cams to show without question the abuses of the System. We are slowly weaning ourselves away from the 'authority' model of corporate media. Why do we need 'authorities' to tell us what to think when we can see the evidence for ourselves.
Remember when George W. Shrub ran around the world with his secret evidence of al-CIAda and Usable bin Hidin'? Like a flasher in the park, he would wing his way to a high-level meetings with 'leaders', where he would open his London Fog trench coat. Out would fall billions of dollars in 'aid' and suddenly the 'leaders' would announce their unqualified support for invading Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11.
Notice how the corporate media always trots out the same handful of 'authorities' and 'experts' to tell us what everything means. It's the same faces and same messages on every channel. But the internet gives us multiple outlets for real information. We can link and paste from a wide range of sources. We can explore history and context. We can spend hours researching single topics and customize our headlines with key-words so that we only see meaningful information without all the bread-and-circuses. We can read viewpoints from all over the world.
That is really dangerous to those who would corral and control us.
I'll always vividly remember life on the farm when I was a kid. We would round up the cattle and herd them into chutes, where we would dust 'em, brand 'em, vaccinate 'em, and cut their balls off. Sound familiar? Go look at videos of bread lines or look up photos of vaccination projects in the 'third world.' Same thing, different animals.
You know something is going on when worldwide corporate media is breaathlessly casting the spotlight on WikiLeaks and Assange. They don't give that kind of attention to someone unless they get some benefit from it. It's like my days working in local news in Houston. The assignment board would list the event, the reporter, the cameraman, and the angle that they wanted to show. That's right, before the team showed up to the scene, we already knew what we were supposed to show. We weren't reporting news, we were gathering pictures to go with a prepackaged story, which was the same story at all the affiliates acros the country.
I know what i am talking about when I tell you how the media work.
So, here is our Mercury, doing the bidding of Jupiter, his father. Olympus has spoken.
The question is, will we kill the gods again, or in this resurrection, will they finally conquer us and enjoy eternal worship from their servants on Earth?
Depends on if you're awake or not, I suppose.
