Unraveling the Impeachy Keen Circus

Given the dearth of civics classes anymore in US schools, it's no wonder most Americans don't understand impeachment, much less the rest of the world, who depend on the laughable Geezer Media to deliver their information.

To really understand what is happening, we must first understand American criminal jurisprudence.  There is a distinct process, based on tradition, law, precedent, and a little bit of ad hoc-ery that defines how a criminal case is brought to trial.

First, evidence of a crime is brought to the attention of a government attorney, such as a district attorney (DA).  The DA investigates the facts presented, determined what specific law or laws have been broken, and may investigate further to determine if there is more evidence of a crime.

If the DA finds sufficient evidence that a law has been broken - say 10USC2378, sec. (a) to make one up - then the case is assembled into a file or dossier.

The DA then empanels a Grand Jury to review the file, test the evidence, perhaps do a bit more investigation, and ensure the facts indeed point to a law being broken.  If the Grand Jury finds sufficient cause (evidence), then it hands down an indictment against the accused.

The DA transmits the indictment to a court, which then schedules a trial to test the facts in evidence, hear testimony, and determine guilt or innocence.  In the US, the trial is presided over by a judge to ensure fairness, but the decision of guilt is made a by jury of the accused's peers.  At no time in this process is the accused presumed to be guilty until the jury renders a verdict.

Now to impeachment.

In the case of impeachment, the process is the same as any criminal process under law, except the the players look a bit different and the terms used are not all the same.

The process begins with the House Judiciary Committee being made aware of possible infractions of law.  Here, the committee is acting like the DA.  It gathers evidence of a crime from facts and testimony, determines whether a specific law or laws were broken, and assembles a file or dossier.

The file is delivered to the full House for consideration.  Here, the House is acting like the Grand Jury.  It reviews the facts in evidence, compares it to the text of the law that is presumed to have been broken, and determines whether there is sufficient proof to proceed.

Just like a Grand Jury, the House votes on whether to impeach, and if yes, then Articles of Impeachment are produced.  This is equivalent to the Grand Jury handing down an indictment.  The Speaker of the House, just like the DA, assembles a legal team (House Managers) to deliver the indictment to the Senate, which in this case becomes the court and the jury.  All 100 Senators are assembled like a jury, attorneys present the case for both sides - just like a regular trial - with the chief justice of the Supreme Court playing the role of a judge in any other trial.

At the end of the trial, the Senators deliberate the facts in evidence, compare it to the wording of the law(s) said to be broken, and like any other jury, render a verdict, with no less than 2/3rds of the Senators required to vote for guilt. Without the 2/3rds majority (super majority), the charges are thrown out and the accused is found not guilty.

If guilty, the accused is then removed from office and the chain of succession takes over.

In the current situation with Donald Trump, a number of errors and irregularities have cropped up, which may end up being fatal to the case as it exists.

At the DA level (House Judiciary Committee), attorneys were not allowed to present evidence or testimony, especially in a forum and under the standard rules of doing such things.  There is also the matter of discovery, where both sides of a case must have unfettered access to all the information the other side has.  In a criminal case, surprises are not allowed.

Next, the file or dossier handed off to the House for consideration did not include the specific laws that were broken.  You can't just accuse someone of doing something wrong, you must show which exact laws were broken.  Remember this the next time you go to traffic court...  Without knowing which laws were broken, no one can determine IF a law was broken and neither a plea nor a verdict can be entered.

In the case of the current fiasco, neither the dossier nor the Article of Impeachment contain a reference to any specific law that was broken.  This is a fatal flaw and in a properly functioning legal system, the case must be thrown out, because neither the court nor the jury can compare the facts to the actual wording of the law supposedly broken.

The next irregularity is that the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (DA), has decided not to deliver the Articles of Impeachment (indictment from the Grand Jury) to the Senate (court).

Now imagine you are accused of a crime.  No one can tell you exactly what law you have broken, but the DA takes the case to a Grand Jury that indicts you anyway.  Despite having no clue which law you broke, you are expected to mount a defense, while at the same time not being able to present your side of the argument, or even being allowed to examine the evidence the other side has gathered.

The Grand Jury indicts you of a crime, but you don't know which law you broke.  They refuse to show you the evidence they have, but you are expected to mount a defense.  At this point, the reader should go see Orson Welles' The Trial, based on the Franz Kafka play (see the play instead if possible).

In spite of all these issues, the Grand Jury indicts you anyway.  But wait!  Now theDA refuses to take the indictment to court for trial, so you are now left in legal limbo.  Unable to defend yourself.  Unable to argue against the process itself.  And all the while paying your high-priced legal team to wait for nothing while they prepare to fight a case in which no law has been broken and no public evidence has been presented.

This is where things stand in the US at the moment.  The Articles of Impeachment (indictment) were handed down while following none of the normal and expected rules to do so.  The Speaker (DA) now refuses to deliver the Articles (Indictment) to the Senate (court).  And in no instance can anyone cite the precise laws that were supposed to have been broken.

If this sounds like a kangaroo court, then you finally understand why so many people are upset.  It is truly Kafka-esque in every sense of the term.

There is much speculation as to why all of this has happened.  The most obvious is that Trump broke no laws, so no law can be cited, and the circus that has followed is the biggest legal fraud in US history.  The fact that the Speaker refuses to deliver the Articles indicates she is well aware of the flaws and knows that they would be thrown out on prima facie.

Going further, some suspect a two-fold motive.  Having the Articles is a PR victory - of sorts - because the Democratic caucus knows that almost no one in the US understands what they are doing.  Thus, the image damage is done.

It's possible that this whole charade is also trying to manipulate the 2020 elections.  If the Speaker holds the Articles until January or later, the trial in the Senate would take place at the beginning of primary season in the election.  That Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar are Senators means they would be tied up during the Impeachment trial, unable to campaign in the early primaries, leaving Joe Biden the default front runner with almost zero opposition.

No matter how you slice this mess, it comes up a big loser for Democrats.  Trump is quickly turning the whole thing in his favor.  The Democrats look like a bunch of Bumbledicks with no clear understanding of the system they supposedly run, and in any case unwilling to do more important work - such as legislating.

With a clear understanding of what is going on, perhaps now the dear reader is able to sit back and enjoy the circus without investing too much emotional cache.  It's all show.  Nearly all of the players in this charade are lawyers and know what they are supposed to do, and that they are not doing it is quite telling.

There are a number of possible motives at play here, but removing Trump doesn't seem to be the most important.  Instead, there is a grand manipulation of images and politics that we little people are not privy to, so we should just sit back and enjoy the freak show.

If this sparks strong responses either way, be sure to leave a comment below.  Thanks!

Bernard will appear on Rense Radio Network at 9p PDT, Friday, December 7, 2018, to discuss Q-Anon and related topics.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's an old Texas expression that seems rather apropos at this point:
"If'n ye allus do wut ye allus done, ye allus git wut ye allus got."
Only works in the original dialect, so you'll have to decipher it yourself. We suggest starting with Uncle Eph.

So where do things stand at this seemingly crucial moment?  Readers have been checking in to find out why I've gone silent on Q and the Anons.

Quite simply, Q went silent for most of October, ostensibly due to Hatch Act restrictions, and even faded in and out during November, but after a period of damage control the fun seems to be ramping up again.

From this point on, I am assuming that readers know about Q and the Anons.  If you are new to the game, please check the previous stories linked at the top.  I use qanon.pub as the source of Q Drops, which is the generally accepted and official conpendium of Q Utterances.

To summarize my Q-Theory:

  • Q is real and may be a function of military intelligence operations;
  • Q is at least partially an AI that is tracking information dissemination through social networks, called q-analysis;
  • Q is a psy-op that is primarily focused on activating the Disenfranchised Masses in the US, and possibly the UK and EU, as well;
  • Q's primary purpose is to market Donald Trump's presidency, but also to subvert mass media gate-keeping and re-direct the narrative via Q  Drops and memes;
  • Q achieves its goals by making followers feel like privileged insiders who know the "real news" before it happens.
Starting in September 2018, the Q Network (or Qniverse, as I call it) began predicting the demise of the Democrats and the so-called "Blue Wave," and promoting a "Red Tsunami" in its place.  Unless you slept through the US mid-term elections back on November 6th, then you realize that neither the Reds nor the Blues came out on top.  In fact, the results were rigorously status quo.

Despite Qvian apologists crowing about keeping the Senate, very tenuously, the results clearly showed the US divided pretty much straight down the middle.

The Blues retook the House and immediately took a giant step backwards by renominating the Ancient Crone Nancy Pelosi as Speaker (again).  The Reds kept the Senate (barely) and like a dog that finally catches the car, are trying to figure out what to do with it.

When the Red Tsunami failed to materialize, the Qvians suffered a major set-back.  Indeed, subscriptions at the various YouTube commentator channels fell precipitously and viewers' comments were not flattering in the least.

So, to catch us all up, let's jump back to the death of John McCain.  Q stated that every dog has its day, and McCain died the day before National Dog Day.  This will become clearer in a moment (and see previous articles for extended discussion).

Then, Q spent most of August and September rallying the Qvians with voter registration pushes and "get out the vote" sermons.  It predicted a major "Red Tsunami" that would sweep Washington, DC, leaving the Republicans in charge of everything.

Then, Q vanished on October 10th, only to reappear on November 2nd, just days before the mid-term elections, still predicting the Red Tsunami, but tempered with accusations of "election fraud."  This is a marketing trick called "salting".  You hedge your bets by establishing and controlling an anti-narrative before the competition has a chance to get theirs rolling.

Q warned there would be massive fraud as a means of stealing the promised victories, and thus softening the blow of reality on the fragile psyches of its followers.  "Don't worry," was the message, if the Red Tsunami doesn't materialize we can write it off as fraud at the polls.

The Anti-Narrative expanded quickly into "we had to LET them commit voter fraud so we could catch them."  This flew in the face of several Q Assurances that the voting was under careful protection of military intel and all would be well.

No word yet on what Q will do with the car now that it has actually caught one.  No worries, though, Q and the Acolytes have already moved on and forgotten about voter fraud.

As I have proposed before, Q is using "q-analysis" to track social networks and information dissemination.  I can safely assume, therefore, that Q knew well in advance that the Red Tsunami was little more than a high tide.  However, encouraging Qvians to meme was a great way to fully flesh out demographic maps and find "hot spots" or "hubs" that were prolific gatekeepers and "thought leaders" - a valuable bit of market information for 2020, and completely proprietary.

The post-election narrative shifted to "We Won Because We Kept The Senate!"  Q carefully manipulated the narrative to point out that the all-important committee chairmanships and nominating process were still in Republican hands, because...um, Republicans good (can you say "marketing"?).

This brings us firmly up to the minute.  Q has, if nothing else, long promised "DECLAS" of vital documents, such as the FISA Warrant, that will finally throw the crooks under the bus.

Whatever one thinks is in those documents and what damage they will do to which characters and organizations, Q's Prophesies of "full disclosure" have steadfastly refused to materialize.  This leaves even the most ardent Qvian scratching his patriotic head, wondering why these death blows aren't landing.

Q assures us, though, that Mr. Trump - in his infinite wisdom and knowledge - will deliver the goods at exactly the right moment to do one of those Mortal Kombat dramatic secret death moves.

Since May 11, 2018, Q has been dropping the term "D5".  There has been endless speculation on what this means, from the highest level of avalanche warning, to a reference to the 5-Eyes (US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand), to the deepest recesses of gematria (D is the fifth letter of the alphabet, so 55, which is 5+5, so...aw, forget it).

The narrative has finally settled on December 5th.  Here's why:

Q has told us that tomorrow (Dec. 3), James Comey will testify before the Senate Judiciary committee (again).  On Tuesday (Dec. 4), Loretta Lynch will testify before the same committee.  On Wednesday (Dec. 5th), John Huber will testify before the House Oversight Subcommittee for Government Operations concerning his months-long investigation of the Clinton Foundation and alleged massive "pay-for-play" operations.

If all of this is Greek to the reader, here's a brief summary:
  • Former FBI Director James Comey is suspected of covering up Hillary Clinton and Clinton Foundation crimes;
  • Former DOJ head Loretta Lynch is suspected of aiding and abetting Comey, with a mysterious "tarmac meeting" with Bill Clinton during the 2016 election;
  • John Huber is a federal prosecutor from Utah who has supposedly been tasked with nailing the Clintons and their cabal to the wall, and is cast as an Eliot Ness Untouchable character.
The implication that Q has left with us is that Comey and Lynch will be compelled to spill the whole truth and nothing but the truth because Huber's testimony will finally lay all the pieces on the table.  Comey and Lynch stand to face felony perjury charges if their stories don't match Huber's.

It gets better.

Miraculously (one might think), George H. W. Bush (41st president), whose father Prescott Bush was a Nazi collaborator - and fomented a coup against the FDR administration in the 1930s stopped only by Gen. Smedley Butler - and whose political career (and that of his sons) has long been speculated to be a reward for his role in the JFK Assassination, dies on December 1st, at the ripe old age of 94.  This will initiate a state funeral spectacle during the very week of the above testimonies.

Q has not very subtly implied that Bush's death was "planned," or perhaps "caused," in order to distract from the fireworks in Congress.  Q reminds us that Bush's Secret Service code name was "Timberwolf," which is tied back to Q's earlier comment about 'every dog having its day'.

The Qvians have reminded us that Hitler's nickname was "the Grey Wolf," which is another name for the timber wolf.

This is all because Washington DC is in a complete panic, according to Q.  Q has primed its network to "see something, say something" as the criminal elements of the Deep State are likely to use false flag attacks and other distractions (like, um, state funerals) to take as much focus off the antics in Congress as possible.

Is all of this an amazing coincidence or, as Q intimates, part of an on-going operation to distract, delay, dissemble, destroy and deny (D5 anyone)?  Your guess is as good as mine, though I am prone to believe the latter.

Bush was quite old, and his wife of 74 years died earlier this year.  There are plenty of anecdotal stories of long-married couples following each other into the Great Here-after.

John McCain died of the same brain cancer that felled his hero Teddy Kennedy, on the exact anniversary of Teddy's death, which also happened to be the day before National Dog Day.

Bush's call-sign was indeed "timberwolf," an animal that shares an ancestor with the domestic dog.

The timing of both McCain's death and Bush's, along with the attendant state hoopla, is exceedingly convenient, considering what is scheduled to occur in the various Congressional committees this week, and the presumed need to keep the nattering nabobs busy.

But what stretches credulity is the Q claim that Huber and his overseer Inspector General Michael Horowitz have been working - in nearly complete secrecy - with 470 investigators (says Q) to generate the Legendary 50,000 Sealed Indictments (or is it 65,000?).

As I've noted before, this would involve over 200 Grand Juries a day, no weekends or holidays, since January 1, 2018, to achieve.  It also means that thousands of grand jurors, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, bailiffs, clerks, and random hangers-on would have been sworn to silence under pain of, um...something.

Q has freely admitted that it disseminates false information, supposedly to throw the "bad guys" off the scent and perhaps cause them to make mistakes that can and will be used in a court of law.

Q also has a rotten track record for predicting events.  The "predictions" are generally vague and open-ended, like a televangelist prophesy, so that just about any similar future event can be interpreted as proof of foreknowledge.

We've been hearing of pending arrests and exposure of the Deep State from Q for well over a year now, and none of it seems any closer than it was back on October 27, 2017, when Q said Hillary Clinton's arrest was imminent and that she was already prevented from leaving the country (she recently spoke to a nearly empty arena in Canada).

The Qvians diligently justify every failure as being part of a "military operation," where the theater is in constant flux and plans change and evolve.  Never mind that they actually believe in and support a military "counter-coup" taking place within the federal government of the United States, without irrefutable evidence that a "coup" has actually taken place.  Any vaporous similarity between real events and a Q Prophesy is heralded as a triumph of the Q Faith.

"Future proves past," as Q and the Anons are constantly telling us.

Like Bible-thumping Christians, the dogged refusal of the Apocalypse to materialize on schedule only pushes the prophesies into the future, but never disproves them.

For me, however, I can't shake the disturbing impression that all of this sounds entirely too much like the plot of Christopher Nolan's brilliant film The Dark Knight.

Donald Trump is the billionaire playboy, who by night beats Gotham's criminals to a pulp with his bare hands.  Hillary Clinton is the Joker (or is she Harley Quinn?), the psychopathic criminal mastermind with weird make-up who just wants to see the world burn.  James Comey is Harvey "Two-Face" Dent, the Boy Scout FBI head turned duplicitous criminal who randomly switches stories and sides on a coin-flip.  John Huber is Commissioner Jim Gordon, the dogged and untouchable investigator who will bring down the house (of cards).  Michael Flynn is Lucius Fox, the quiet enabler that offered all the resources of the US military intelligence complex to Trump in the fight for truth and justice.

If the Legendary 50,000 (or is it 65,000) Sealed Indictments ever see the light of day, one can even imagine a scene like The Dark Knight, in which hundreds of defendants appear in court all at once to answer the charges.  Sure, the top guys will bail out, but the little guys can't afford to be off the streets.  They'll cut a deal for shorter sentences.  Just think what Trump could do with 18 months of clean streets!

I could go on with the parallels, but I think the reader can see my line of thought.  The similarities are remarkable.

In any event, the promised Salvation of the Q keeps getting pushed into the future, like a long-awaited savior.  Trump is still the underground hero that WILL deliver on his promises to jail the perps...at some point.  The Qvians undauntedly believe that the US federal government can and should be redeemed - with the aid of The Brilliantly Conceived Plan that no one seems to be able to articulate, and which must be several iterations away from the Original Plan by now.  Subscriber numbers are slowly recovering as armchair patriots filter back to the spectacle.

And life goes on...

Where we go one, we go all.

How true.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Post Scriptum:

The Qniverse is speculating that a James Comey tweet on Novemver 14, 2018, about his old dog dying is a veiled reference to GHW Bush actually dying on that date, rather than 1 December 2018, keeping in mind Bush's callsign "timeberwolf" and the relation to "dog".

Presumably, the body was kept on ice just for the occasion of delaying the Congressional hearings - and perhaps for Bennu resurrection (see next article in the archives in the right column - Random Thoughts On Shrubbery.

Also, it would appear that Q has taken credit for the ULF wave that shook the Earth on 11/11.

For some time, Q predicted a "major event" on 11/11, but when nothing political happened, a regular Q Troll taunted Q with its failure.  Q responded by nothing that the ULF frequency was a 17-second interval, with Q being the 17th letter of the alphabet, and that the event was indeed on 11/11.

The Qniverse narrative is that back in July, Q took out a number of satellites and servers being used by the Deep State in the notorious Snow White posts (see our previous articles).  This forced the Deep State to use its emergency back-up system of broadcasting ELF waves through the Earth itself (using CERN?).

Q supposedly signaled its take-over of THAT channel, as well, by broadcasting in 17-second intervals what is obviously an unnatural wave - both frequency and amplitude are controlled.  Also note the higher frequency band, called by one geologist a series of "pings," and they might well be a kind of carrier wave for additional information.

I leave it to the reader to decide what to believe here, but I am convinced the seismic event was NOT natural.  Who or what created the signal is open for debate.

Bumbledicks, Pizza And Congresscritters

As usual, the Bumbledick GeezerMedia has set out to blame guns for the shooting of two cops, a congresscritter and two other people who aren't getting any attention.

So let's get this straight...the Bumbledick (Democrats) GeezerMedia (print, broadcast) has been on a year-long campaign to radicalize the Know-Nothing Bumbledicks in America, including calling for and actually dramatizing violence against the Bucketheads (Republicans).  When they finally trigger someone to pick up a gun and shoot, they get all bent out of shape on the availability of guns.  Do I have that right?

Both the shooter and the complicit GeezerMedia have shown a major flaw in their reasoning, if one can apply that term here.  They believe that guns are the reason for violence, not one of many tools for it.

This is obvious in the results of the shooting.  The shooter got off well over 50 rounds.  I watched the video several times and counted the pops before the cops arrived.  In this literal hail of bullets, the shooter only managed to injure five people.  So much for one shot-one kill.  The Big Prize was shooting a Congressional Leader type in the hip.

What this tells me is that the Bumbledicks honestly think that just waving a gun around and pulling the trigger kills people.  It's the gun's fault right?  If that were the case, there'd be a whole lot of dead people at the end of the shooting - 30 would be an acceptable ratio with that many shots.

Guns don't kill people.  Trained shooters with properly functioning tools who control their breathing and heart rates and take careful aim at kill points (head, chest) kill people.  The shooter in the park clearly knew nothing about guns and believed the Bumbledick hysteria that the guns did all the work.  All he had to do was carry it and pull the trigger and the guns and bullets would magically do the rest.

Another thing that was obvious in the video of the scene was that I get nearly every one of the cowering bystanders wished they had a gun at that moment.  It took cops a full 10 minutes to drop their coffee and donuts and get to the scene.  Surely, the congresscritter with the gushing hip wound dragging himself away from the shooter dearly wished he was armed.

The thing that struck me, though, was the pattern here.  Lone nut takes gun, goes on rampage, gets killed so he can't testify in open court.  At least since the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, this has been a pattern in US politics.  John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, John Hinckley (&c ad nauseam) have all been completely isolated from all other interests and contacts, acting completely on their own, with no further conspiracy involved.

Yet, the congresscritter who was shot - Steve Scalise - was supporting a bill called the "Frederick Douglas" bill, that directly attacked trafficking of children for sex - i.e., PizzaGate.

Ah, remember PizzaGate?  That's the scandal that almost broke based on comments in John Podesta's Clinton email that were veiled references to child sex.  Seth Rich was offed for releasing those email, the federal investigation got quickly buried, and the Frederick Douglas bill is being trounced, even to the point of killing (or trying to) congresscritters.

As with all conspiracies at this level, there are multiple layers upon layers.  As Jack Ruby said about the JFK assassination, the rabbit hole was deep and dangerous and no one wanted to go there.  Same with PizzaGate.

Blackmail is the oldest game in politics.  Compromise a public figure and you own them for life.  They get their most animalistic desires fed on a regular basis, and you get control of governments without your face being all over the media.  The word blackmail dates to the 1500s in Scotland, but the practice is far older than that.

Child sex trafficking is one of the most effective and widely used forms of control across the globe today.  Even the hint of it can bring down kings and presidents, and that is the idea.  Organizations like Child Protective Services "disappear" children into a slimy underworld where they are traded for access and control by the real leaders of the world - names you and I will likely never know.  If you don't play by their rules, you get the Anthony Weiner treatment.  If you try to stop it, you get the Steve Scalise treatment.

To hide the tracks of the conspiracy, a left-wing Bumbledick was activated and steered to the appropriate target by...whomever.  It was important to shut down his support (as Majority Whip) of the Frederick Douglas bill.  Only problem with the plan is that Bumbledicks are notorious afraid of guns and have been told for decades that the guns kill, not the shooters.

Fortunately, the plan failed miserably, though if I were Scalise's family, I would have someone watching every move by the hospital staff.  Amazing how survivable wounds can suddenly kill someone.  Just ask Seth Rich.

In the end, the Virginia shooting is another one of those many-layered conspiracies that can easily be spun in a hundred different directions to cover the tracks of the real perpetrators.  Gun control, crazy Bumbledicks and other stories are perfect examples of the effort to hide the PizzaGate tracks.  Hopefully, none of us Rubes will notice the connections.

There is another, equally deep level to this story, and that is the control the GeezerMedia still has over the minds of so many people.  The constant barrage of images showing politicians getting killed (Public Theater's Julius Caesar and Kathy Griffin's antics to whit) is having an effect on the masses, whether we acknowledge it or not.  But that's a story I have covered incessantly for years.

Do yourself a favor - turn off and unplug the TeeVee.

Shelter From The Storm

If the headlines are starting to sound like a Hogan's Heroes running gag about the Russian front, you've only just begun tumbling down Lewis Carroll's rabbit hole.  In draing the swamp, folks are finding it to be MUCH deeper than anyone thought.

There is a most unique crisis brewing in American politics right now, and it is one that bears close observation.

Donald Trump has accused Barack Obama of personally ordering wiretaps on the Trump campaign headquarters for what appears to be obvious political motivations.  The wiretaps seem to have been ordered both to provide intel on the Trump campaign, and to create a narrative to derail the Trump administration in the event of his election.  One imagines this would have also benefitted Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Convention, so the tentacles run deep in the Washington establishment.

Some folks might point to Richard Nixon and the Watergate break-in as being precedent for the current situation, but we must remember that Nixon won the election and was a sitting president when the scandal came to light.  This means that Nixon was protected to a certain extent by his position, with the only possible remedy being impeachment.

In addition, Nixon's resignation meant that Gerald Ford, another Republican succeeded to the office and was able to pardon Nixon before any criminal trials could be brought to court.

In the current case, Obama has served his two terms in office and Clinton lost the election.  Had she won, she would have been able to cover up the dirty deeds, or in the worst-case scenario, pardon Obama and head off any criminal proceedings.

We can now fully appreciate the panic going on within the Democrat Party and the sheer terror they must be feeling at this moment.  This precarious legal position certainly goes a long way toward explaining the amazing amount of effort being put forth to discredit and unseat Trump, and get an insider, if even a Republican, into the office.  The gravity of the situation vastly increases the danger to life and limb that Trump is facing, because the stakes, as we will see in a moment, are enormous - and that is not hyperbole.

If the current situation continues to roll out of control, at least from Obama's perspective, he faces felony charges without the benefit of being a sitting president.  Thus, the case would proceed directly to the courts, and not to Congress, which would be far more lenient on corruption, since they are - for the most part - just as dirty if not more so.

One imagines that if charges are brought against Obama, the proverbial blood in the water will likely bring additional scrutiny of the blatantly false birth certificate proffered by Obama some time back.  Forgery of government documents is also a felony, and seeing Obama already behind a barrel would encourage enemies to pile on.

At that point, one could make a fairly safe bet that the Fast and Furious scandal would resurface, where Obama authorized, and then-US attorney general Eric Holder carried out, the "strawman" purchase of thousands of automatic rifles.  The rifles were given to Mexican drug gangs, after which one of them was eventually used to kill a federal drug enforcement agent.

This is all bad enough, but it gets far worse, and in fact becomes a genuine nightmare crisis of amazing proportions.

If Obama were convicted of committing a felony while in office, any felony, he would certainly go to prison.  That would obviously be bad for Obama, but that's not the half of it.  If a sitting or former US president were convicted of committing a felony in office, EVERY SINGLE ACT HE DID AS PRESIDENT WOULD BE NULL AND VOID.

Let that sink in for a moment.

As a convicted felon, every single law, Presidential Directive, Executive Order, budget, and act Obama did while in office would suddenly be vacated.  The entire past eight years of his administration would become the acts of a convicted criminal, and thus considered fraudulent.  Every bomb and bullet, every life lost, every dollar spent would thus be criminal acts and unenforceable - and unprotected.

NOW one can appreciate the magnitude of what is unfolding in Washington at this moment.

Furthermore, this would make Obama and his entire administration personally liable for war crimes, banking and wire fraud (on a mass scale), and even conspiracy to commit any number of crimes (RICO in US legal parlance).

What's worse, Obama is no longer in power and the Democrats lost control of both the House and Senate.  Once the ball gets rolling, there is little or no resistance anywhere in Washing ton to protect the past administration, and Trump being the celebrated outsider that he is, has no skin in the game to protect anyone but himself.

This is HUGE, folks.

If you were in the same position, would you be doing everything in your power to undermine the election, discredit Trump, block and obfuscate every word and deed Trump makes, foment riots, formulate Russian conspiracies, activate the entire media establishment against the sitting president?  Oh hell yes, you would.

The scandal touches every corner of the Washington establishment on both sides of the political spectrum, since Congress would have been complicit at least by omission and dereliction of duty.  You can bet that every person who had any amount of power and authority over the last eight years is currently checking prices and availability of South American flights, especially landing near George W. Shrub's 100,000-acre ranch in Paraguay.

It is difficult to overstate the case.  The huge vulnerability that has opened up threatens the entire US federal government and could literally collapse the empire.  If this situation "gets legs", as they say, it will take decades to unwind and would see US politicians on trial in a dozen countries and in the World Court.  There is a critical singularity approaching.

To compound matters, the Obama gang and the DNC has chosen to fight fire with fire, rather than slink quietly off into a corner.  By throwing everything in the arsenal at Trump in an effort to completely unseat him, they have sealed their fate.  In years past, former presidents slithered off into obscurity, only trotted out for special occasions, but they kept their heads low and let the incoming administration clean up the mess.  It was a kind of unspoken rule that each succeeding president covered for the previous one, in order to be afforded the same courtesy once out of office.

Because Trump is a true outsider who financed his own campaign, there is little or no pressure that can be brought to bear on him.  Also, his personality is such that once attacked, he will go on the offensive and won't stop till the opposition is thoroughly vanquished.  Furthermore, Trump has proven himself to be very short-sighted, and so is likely not considering all the consequences for the long term.  He is in war mode and winning is his only option.  It is his defining characteristic.

Thus, we find in Washington at this moment the legendary rock beating itself silly against the immutable hard spot.  Hundreds of elected and un-elected heads sit squarely in the guillotine just now.

Throw in the already building phalanx against the PizzaGate pedophiles that spans the globe, and we are looking at a potential scandal of epic proportions. If things continue along the current course, our great-great-great grandchildren will be reading about this moment in history class twoo hundred years from now.

Yes, it is THAT serious.

Batten down the hatches, get your hip-waders and slickers on, this is going to be a major blow and seas are going to get just a bit choppy from here on out.

The Marketer In Chief

I suppose it would be apropos to address Trump's first State of the Union address.  Spoiler alert: he did fine, Don Lemon and Nancy Pelosi hated it, and folks who voted for him are vastly relieved that his marketing and media skills are still intact.

For non-American readers, the State of the Union address is an annual political orgy in the US when the entire roster of federal government blow-hards are assembled in the House of Representatives and the President is supposed to report the activities and finances of the Executive Branch.  In practice, the president uses it to bully Congress and the Supreme Court into accepting his agenda for the coming year, while at the same time showing off his tail-feathers to the vast unwashed masses.  This speech is immediately followed by the president's proposed budget for the coming year.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed.  Trump never once said "bigly", which is my favorite Trumpverb.  I was irritated, though, by the logical disconnect of building up the military to maintain US hegemony over the world, while at the same time saying that his focus would be on "America First".

I can only imagine this means the US will continue to bomb the snot out of any country that doesn't accept McDonald's, Starbucks and Microsoft dominance of their economies (i.e. paying fealty to the throne).

The bottom line is that the US military will continue being the primary means of winning hearts and minds the world over, protecting US markets, while sealing off the US domestic market from competition.

I noted that Trump did not once mention the Constitution or its long-standing prohibition of a standing military.  Details.  Who needs 'em?

The one duty the President is supposed to have - control of borders and immigration - is the one that no one wants him to exercise.  The left wing of The Party, known as the Democrats, audibly groaned when Trump proposed to form a task force to investigate and publish statistics on immigrant crime.  Considering illegal immigrants have already committed the crime of entering the country without following the proscribed process, it seems reasonable for the Executive Branch to compile and inform the country on just how many people are breaking immigration laws, and what other laws they are breaking once they enter the country.

It did not escape my attention that Trump made a point of introducing his wife, the First Lady, who is a legal immigrant and the best-looking Presidential Spouse the country has had since Jackie Kennedy, and probably since Dolly Madison created the unofficial position of First Lady.

All in all, it was a fairly standard affair, with lots of rabble-rousing and propagandistic nods to the military.  Trump is probably the most relaxed speaker in the office since Ronald Reagan, and his somewhat informal style of delivery played well to the cameras.  The spring-loaded chairs in the audience got a bit annoying, though.  It almost got to the point that they were jumping up and clapping every time Trump cleared his throat, but that's an expected part of the spectacle.

To the rest of the world, the State of the Union address means little.  It's just a national pep-rally.  But out here in the real world, we do note those things that are NOT said, like the word "Russia".  It was vaguely entertaining, though and we were impressed with how well Trump handled himself and how relaxed and in control he appeared.  Of course, an event like this is tailor-made for egos the size of Trump's.

All in all, nice words, well delivered.  Now, let's see how all this plays out in action.  Don't forget that on the walls behind Trump as he spoke are the two very large fasces that are the defining symbol of Fascism.

Final analysis - Good Show.

Is That A Passport In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Happy To See Me?

The hysteria over Donald Trump's immigration orders is by far the most entertainment out of the US since last November.  The global reaction makes it even more entertaining.  It is very interesting to see the antics and finger-pointing worldwide.

We begin with Chuckie Schumer, New York senator and dual citizen with an Israeli passport, shedding crocodile tears, as if he truly cares about the plight of "refugees".  He is probably more terrified that Trump will ban dual citizens, forcing him to choose between his cushy life-long job on the backs of taxpayers and his beloved desert hell-hole that he obviously doesn't love enough to live there.

Next, we have the CEO of AirBnB volunteering other people's private property as free shelter for banned travellers.  Yes, it doesn't hurt to look good with false generosity when you have no liability, no loss and no ownership in the outcome.  In the spirit of his generous offer, I'd like to open his home for free to all "refugees" and people from the seven banned countries.  C'mon in!

Then there's China's official mouthpiece Xinhua pointing the finger at the Trump orders and gleefully featuring coverage of the protests at JFK airport.  Of course, there is no mention that China has some of the most strict immigration laws in Asia, enforces them ruthlessly and allows zero "refugees" inside their borders.  Oops, forgot about that part, did you?

The EU is jumping up and down hollering about the new US policies, with Hollande and others demanding that the European dictatorship get tough on Trump - or they would be jumping up and down except they might land on a "refugee" or two...hundred.  Sounds more like a case of passionately wanting someone else to share their misery.

Almost every single article I can find says that Trump banned Muslims, but when I read the Executive Order, it says all passport holders from seven countries in the Middle East know to harbor terrorists, regardless of political or religious backgrounds. Neither does the EO put a permanent ban on these countries...just three months.

Interestingly, Trump also ordered the Pentagon to come up with a plan in 30 days to defeat ISIS.  That would give him 60 days to effect the plan before the ban is lifted.  Hmmm...  He also said that he would not release details of the plan beforehand.  That makes sense, since FDR didn't hold a presser to announce that Allied forces would be landing at Normandy at dawn on the 6th or June, either.

To be fair, the seven banned countries are predominantly Islamic, though Indonesia was not included with a population about 79% Muslim.  So maybe the ban is political, not religious?  Banish the thought!

Trump has done nothing but his job, which is to execute the law of the land in the most effective and fiscally-responsible way.  Granted, no one has done that in the US for decades, but hey, it's still the law, folks.

If the Middle East had a virulent outbreak of hemorrhagic fever, I'm sure Chuckie Schumer and the Walking Dead...er, Democrats would be falling all over themselves to ban travellers from those countries.  Point of order, Mr. Chuckie, politically-induced mental illness is just as dangerous.

Though I am wary as hell of Trump, I must admit that his orders are perfectly reasonable and legitimate.  Unlike Obama, he's even (so far) using the EOs for their intended purpose: enforce the law, not make it.  Being an immigrant myself and having to abide by the laws and regulations of my resident country, I fully support what Trump is doing.  Just because none of his predecessors have bothered to enforce the law does not remove him from his sworn duty as president.

The looks on the faces of my Islamic friends here is classic when they tell me Trump has banned Muslims, and I respond that Indonesians are free to travel to the US any time they want, as long as they have a valid visa and follow the process.  It really does not compute, so effective has the Corporate Media been in rewriting the narrative.

Oh, there's one more thing.  If Trump was really serious, he'd ban Saudi Arabia too.  I guess that's too much to ask.

Exit President Milquetoast

Well, folks, here we are about a fortnight away from Barack Husein Obama's retirement and subsequent pasturing as a UN lackey, so it's time to start assessing his legacy as leader of the Surveillance World.

Since I have spent a grand total of three weeks on US soil during his inhabitation of the Oval Office, and since I am two weeks older than he is, and thus kind of like an older brother, I feel uniquely qualified to comment on what the world will take away from these past eight years.

One thing is certain: in two hundred years, Obama will absolutely be remembered as the first...um...blank president.  Yes, I said "blank," not "black."  Not a typo there.

Because Obama has almost zero verifiable past, he is a white sheet of paper upon which historians will be able to write any story they so choose.  This makes him a boon to future researchers, since they will, like JFK's assassination, be able to concoct any story they choose on the flimsiest evidence and no one will be able to gainsay the story.  To be able to falsify a claim requires facts and evidence, of which there is precious little in the case of Barack Husein Obama.

So far, he was born in three different countries (US, Indonesia, Kenya), did not have a high school sweetheart nor attended the prom.  He has no accessible school records that anyone can dig up.  He has somewhere in the range of four different fathers.  And he just simply appeared on the national political scene in 2004, as the keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention.

Since Obama has no discernibly strong convictions or vision, people have been able to project their wants and desires on him. Depending on your particular point of view, he has either been a champion or bugbear of just about every cause that ever existed.  About the only major achievement he has is a universal healthcare program that appears to be failing faster than the moving men can haul his stuff out of the White House.  Even his wife's school lunch program is dying faster than Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" campaign, since no one really liked the food and were only being polite.

Obama added $10 trillion in national debt, but no one seems to be able to point to where the money went.  If I had spent that much, I would at least have a house full of stuff to proudly display, but the US doesn't have any shiny new toys that still have trillion-dollar price tags on them.  Instead, all we see are stories about every public program failing, from military to infrastructure to education.

For a paltry $1 trillion, I could have built a coast-to-coast tunnel linking all the major subway systems in the country with a mag-lev train and still have pocketed a tidy profit and retired to Indones...oh wait...already did that...OK somewhere else.

Hell, the nation's space program can't even put a man, much less a monkey, in orbit.  They have to rely on the evil, nasty, horrible Russians to haul their carcasses up and back.  Good lord!  Even US rockets have to use old rusty engines from a Russian military surplus store on the lower east side of Minsk.

And while we're talking about Russians...

Remember that little-hyped event where Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize?  He had been in office for nine months when the Nobel Committee came up with this knee-slapper:
The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to United States President Barack Obama for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".

You have got to be kidding, right?  I mean, with less than a fortnight to go, the world is on the verge of nuclear war - closer than during the Cuban Missile Crisis - thanks in great part to Barack Husein Obama.  Using this criterion, Adolph Hitler should have won at least two NPPs while he was destroying Europe.

When I think about it, the only thing Obama has achieved that no one can argue with is that he is the first president with a great tan.  Honestly though, the US could have elected George "The Tan" Hamilton and at least gotten better acting, plus he could have done a whole gag on being related to the first US Treasury Secretary, and even starred in the hit Broadway musical.

We all owe at least one debt of gratitude to the erstwhile president, though.  Obama did more to highlight the American obsession with façadism that any other president in history.  As the old Billy Crystal gag went, "It's better to look good than to feel good," and Obama is the embodiment of that concept.

Think about it: you've got the world's most advanced fighter jet that doesn't work, the most advanced stealth destroyer that doesn't work, the most advanced space program that can't put a man in orbit, the most advanced interstate system that is crumbling to dust, the most touchy-feely education system that produces Millennials and SJWs, the most advanced internet that can be hacked by a 14-year-old, and the most advanced surveillance system that can only tell us whodunit, not who-will-dun-it.

Yes, the Obama years shall be fondly remembered as the Mirage Years, where everything looked great from across the noon-day desert, but when you get there it's only sand and cactus.

I imagine this period in American history will be remembered much like the caesarhoods (?) of Nero or Caligula - lot's of fiddling and burning and riding horses through the Senate.  In fact, there's even a hint of godhood in the left's idol worship of Obama.  He reminds me a lot of Woodrow Wilson, whom the left also idolizes, but who also gave the nation a Central Bank, income tax, the first incarnation of the UN, and a gross pile of lies that led to war.

Remember when Obama was installed?  No one was allowed to say a cross word, and school children had to genuflect and cross themselves whenever his image and likeness was paraded through the room.  Photos of the man were always framed with a halo of light, as if he was channelling Ra or Apollo or Mithra.  At least that level of insanity has faded, but all-new forms have surfaced in their places.

Like a falsified birth certificate, Obama is a character of many layers, which when switched off leave one with a blank page.  History will not be kind to Obama, nor will it judge the generation that elected him with fondness and nostalgia.  Even his hard-core worshippers will someday snap to their senses, or at least one hopes, although one is forced to admit there are many for whom little hope exists.

The smartest thing Obama could do at this time is to fade quietly into the background, but one gets the feeling that is not likely to happen.  There are all kinds of trial balloons floating about him becoming Generalissimo of the UN, and that probably won't happen, because outside the US, Obama is little more than a polite joke at cocktail parties.

Not having demonstrated cunning and insightfulness over the past eight years, smart money is on the likelihood that this Blank Page will attempt to salvage some legacy for his having used resources on this Earth.  One gets the feeling that instead of polishing his image, time will further erode it as the spell wears off.

I wish that we could bid farewell to Obama, but alas, that is not likely to be.  At least we can rest assured that his influence in US politics will greatly diminish, as the immediate result of his tenure is a complete repudiation of virtually everything he achieved.

Like Donald Trump or not, he is far more likely to be a lasting historical figure (for better or worse) than Obama will ever be.  Blank pages, like white bread, 2% milk and filtered water, just don't leave much of a lasting impression on the palette.

6.7.16

Queenpin©® Ascendant

In yet another now-predictable upset, Hillary Clinton - and husband Bill - have dodged legal bullet.  Frankly, these have got to be the luckiest (or most corrupt) couple in the history of /American "jurisprudence."  Not even O.J. Simpson could have hoped for this.

In case you slept through the news, on the day after US Independence Day, Hillary was cleared of criminal charges in the on-going email scandal.  Apparently, American freedom now only extends far enough to cover certain privileged few.

Edward Snowden take heart.  You may now have precedence to claim a blanket pardon.

I am not the least bit surprised nor shocked.  In fact, I predicted that Hillary would skate some time back.  Hey, if hubby could dodge impeachment while at the same time blatantly committing perjury, it was only logical (in this white-is-black universe) that Hillary could not only be cleared of mishandling state secrets, but possible espionage and treason to boot.

As far as the rest of the world is concerned, the US no longer has any credibility when it comes to moral or ethical leadership.  Not that this was a singular event, but a long list of usurpations extending decades back have finally come to a head.

The clentchers were Bill meeting Loretta Lynch in private, and the following declaration by Hillary that Lynch had a job for life, at least if the Queen is elected.  And for all intents and purposes, it appears the US election is a done deal, as well.  Sorry, but even Trump doesn't have this kind of stroke.

I continue to believe that Hillary set up a private server and disabled all security options because her job was to feed insider information to a cabal of banksters and investors who needed to know key decisions before they became public in order to beat the market.  Hillary's exorbitant "speaking" fees have been nothing more than her cut of the proceeds.  Her biggest reward, though, will be getting crowned the American Queenpin©®.

If nothing else, maybe we'll get a new Marvel villain out of it.

There is one advantage here, at least for me.  You see, Indonesians have been under the impression that the US political system is a paragon of virtue compared to their blatantly corrupt system.  I've tried for years to disabuse them of this concept by saying it only looks virtuous because the scale is so vast.

Along comes the Queenpin©® and it is as if a fully-sighted man came across five blind men trying to describe an elephant.  All the pieces have suddenly fallen into place.

If the O. J. Simpson case showed that American justice could be bought, then Hillary has shown that all the rest of it is on the block, as well.  In some ways, it's a comforting thing.  Corruption is easier to deal with when it is plain and undeniable.  At least no one can labor under a false impression without willful ignorance.  How appropriate that the announcement came just after "Independence" Day.

Turmp may have money, but he has rules - porous and undecipherable though they may be.  Hillary has no rules and is focused like a laser on the one thing she wants more than any other: power at all costs.

I predict, therefore, that Hillary will be the next president of the US - and quite possibly the last, because her election will almost guarantee the secessionists will be loaded for bear.
